"Max, you have to get her out of there, soon!" Adrien says. He is still angry with his best friend's cousin.

  "Yes, but you must understand there are precautions I must take to ensure her safety," Max says.

  "I have installed a backup battery and emergency generator in case the power goes off," Max remarks.

" I set the game to acknowledge the presence of foreign objects now," Max says.

    "How is this good news? She is still in there." Adrien says furious as ever.

  "Look you either get here out of there soon, or I will," Adrien says with more anger than he had at first.

  "Adrien, get out of my house!" Max yells at him.

   "I know what I am doing, so leave," Max says.

"Oh, yeah.  I am afraid you are clueless as to what happened to her." Adrien says.

"When did she first show up in the space-themed game?"  Adrien asks. He refuses to leave without some answers.

"I found her inside it almost a week ago," Max says.

"What, you knew she was here all along and did not tell me?"  Adrien remains angry.

"How could you keep this from me?" Adrien says.

  Marinette regains consciousness inside the computer and hears Max and Adrien's fight.  "Boys, stop it!'' She calls out.

"Stop it right now.  Do not make me tell you again," Marinette says even louder.

"I recognize this level. It is the one I beat Max on the last time we played the game together." Marinette says.

  Marinette mumbles something under her breath.   Suddenly, the screen goes dark!  

  "Marinette are you okay?"  Adrien ask. He gets no answer and cries again.

 Thirty minutes later Level 3, the song level starts within the game.  

Marinette smiles and says, "Adrien it is okay, I just on the song level now."

Adrien looks at her in surprise. 

 "Marinette how did you get there from inside the game?" Adrien asks.

"Not sure, I just knew how to beat Level 2 that is all," Marinette says.

"Wow, you are smart," Adrien says. He blushes.

"I wish you were not stuck in there because you are pretty," Adrien says.

"Thanks, Adrien!" Marinette says. She thinks, my best friend just called me pretty.

"I have never beaten level 3, and I am not sure which song to sing," Marinette says.

"I hate to go, but  I have homework. Bye, Marinette!" Adrien says. He waves at her and thinks, great I just embarrassed myself.

"Ok, see you later, best friend," Marinette says.

Adrien leaves and thinks, is that all she thinks of me?  I am just a best friend.

  Adrien goes home. As soon as he enters the house Chloe is there to greet him.  

"Adrien, what is the matter?" Chloe asks.

"It is nothing," Adrien says as he heads toward his room.

    Adrien works on his homework but struggles to concentrate on it. He thinks, great my sister is right I do love Marinette.

  Adrien gets his journal out to write in it for a bit.  

Dear Journal, 

I do not know what to do. I have a problem.

  I have been best friends with Marinette for as long as I can remember.

   Today, I find out she is trapped inside her cousin's computer and I freaked out.

   I do not know what I would do if she never got out of there.

  My half-sister, Chloe says, "you love Marinette."  Is she right?

  I know I want Marinette to survive the game and get out soon.

Later that evening, Adrien is rather quiet at the supper table. 

   Marinette smiles as she tries to think of a song to sing so she can move onto level 4 inside the game.
