We get off the bullhead as Yang and Ruby are in aww at the sight of Beacon. It still amazes me how big it is still.

Ruby and Yang: Wooooow.

Y/n: This place is huge.

Yang: The view from Vale got nothing on this.

I notice Ruby starting to look at all the other students' weapons and slowly starts gushing over them.

Ruby: Look guys, she has a fire sword and that guy has a collapsible staff.

She was about to wander off until Yang grabbed her hood and dragged her back.

Yang: Easy there Ruby there're just weapons.

Y/n: And you went there.

Ruby: Just weapons? There an extension of ourselves they're a part of us. They're so cool.

Y/n: Come on Ruby not every weapon should be swooned over unless it's your own.

Ruby: What are you talking about?

Y/n: You put ever little bit of detail and patients into your weapon to make it perfect for you. No other weapon will work with you, you put your heart and soul into it.

Ruby: You're right thanks Y/n. But it's still like meeting new people for me.

Yang grabs Ruby's hood and brought it down.

Yang: Ruby come on why don't you go try and make some friends of your own?

Ruby: Why would I need friends when I have you and Y/n?

A group of Yang's friends come up to her and quickly left with her.

Yang: Well... actually my friends are here now. Gotta go catch up. Kay, c'ya, bye.

As the past us they caused Ruby to fall on me which resulted with us falling on a bunch of luggage.

Weiss: What are you doing?

We both sit up and I notice that it's Weiss.

Ruby: Sorry.

Weiss: You again.

Y/n: Well if it isn't the ice princess. How has it been since we left?

Weiss: Much better since that drunk of a teacher left.

Ruby: You know her Y/n?

Y/n: Yes and if you ask me she's nothing more then a prissy princess. Sure she has a great voice but that attitude that she still has is quite the hindrance.

Weiss: That's rich coming from a transforming dolt that follows that drunk teacher around like a lost puppy.

Y/n: Oh that's funny bringing up the puppy part.

Weiss: Don't you dare say a word about that.

Ruby: What is you talking about Y/n?

Y/n: We are talking about one of my misadventures with Qrow.

Ruby: Ohhh I love it when you and Uncle Qrow tell me about your missions.

Y/n: I'll tell you after initiation.

Weiss: I thought we agreed not to tell a soul about what happened.

Y/n: Come on Ruby we should get going. Bye Weiss.

I start walking off as Ruby comes up behind.

Timeskip

We met up with Jaune and got to know him a bit and made it to the auditorium.

Yang: Ruby, Y/n over here I saved you guys a spot.

Ruby: Oh, hey I gotta go. I'll see you after the ceremony.

Y/n: Bye Jaune.

We both walk up to Yang.

Yang: How's your first day going for little sis?

Ruby: You mean since you ditched me and your friend shoved me into Y/n making us fall on some crabby girls luggage.

Yang: Yikes sorry about that.

She pulled Ruby close and started whispering in her ear when she finished Ruby was as red as her name.

Y/n: Well we had a small conversation with her and after initiation I'll be telling a story about one of mine and Qrow's mission.

Yang: I hope it's good.

Ozpin: I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step.

Glynda: You will gather in the ballroom tonight, tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed.

Timeskip

I walk into the ballroom wearing some pants and socks and start heading over to Ruby and Yang with my sleeping bag in hand.

Y/n: Hey girls.

Yang: Momma likes.

Ruby didn't say anything but she was a blushing mess just staring at my bare chest that has some scars.

Y/n: Ruby? You there.

Ruby: What? Sorry I wasn't paying attention.

Yang: Yeah because you were to busy admiring a shirtless Y/n.

Ruby proceeds to throw a pillow at Yang. I put my sleeping bag next to Ruby and laid down.

Y/n: I'm gonna go ahead and sleep need all my energy for initiation see y'all in the morning.

Bacca: Well this was a very short chapter.

Ruby: Yeah because you changed a lot of what happens.

Bacca: I know and I have plans for this book same for my vampire and his rose I just need time to think for the next chapter of it.

Ruby: So why does Weiss already know Y/n?

Bacca: That story will be told after the first day which I'll be skipping since I can't think of how it would go. Now I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter and I'll see you all in the next one.
