ADILYNNE'S POV

It's working!

I can feel my faint heartbeat, as my body begins to feel like it's  being pulled. If I have never met Austin, I wouldn't be going back.

Wait why did it stop? Where's my heart beat!

I open my eyes and see that the paramedics had stopped trying. They were putting my body in a zip up bag.

No! I was so close.

I run right through the wall that leads outside and find myself at my house. I didn't even walk over there.

What the heck! I can teleport?! I did think of my house.

I walk inside, through the walls and inside my house. Standing in the living beside my father is someone I never thought I'd see. I stood there frozen, my jaw dropped. Tears well up in my eyes, but they disappear as they exit.

It can't be.

She walks over to me and hugs me tight, I hug her back. She kisses me on the forehead and whispers something in my ear. I nod my head at what she said.

"I'm so sorry," is all I can manage to say.

I walk into my father's room and immediately wish I hadn't. Father is completely naked along with some random chick. He's having a 'session' with her. I quickly look away as flashbacks begin to fill my head.

Before I can panic I feel comforted. I feel warm and not afraid. I look beside me and see her holding my hand, glowing a light orange color.

"Go, you'll be home soon, but not now" is all she says.

Home? I am home. What does that mean?

Before I have time to respond I feel myself once again being pulled.

All I see is blackness yet again.

AUSTIN'S POV

"No stop! What are you doing," I wake up to see paramedics putting Adilynne in a bag.

A bag for the dead.

I have to try more!

I run up to them and snatch Adilynne out of their hands, almost falling over in the process. I place her back down on the ground and start CPR.

The firefighters, police, and paramedics circle around me.

I can't stop. I just can't let her go!

I pinch her nose, tilts her head back and give her a breath, just as I'm about to give her another I feel her breath go against my mouth. I jump up quickly.

"I felt her breathe!" I yelled at all the people.

Why are they just standing there! Do something!

I bend down to Adilynne and place my fingers to the side of her neck.

"I got it! It's here! A pulse!" I yell at them

This time they all come over to check. When they saw for themselves, they began clapping. The paramedics rushed over to her and put an oxygen mask on her.

Now just wake up.

Adilynne began coughing, I rushed over to her and grabbed her hand. Adilynne's eyes started to open.

"Let's go!" The paramedics yelled at us. They picked her up and put her in the ambulance I hopped in with her and stayed beside her.

Wait the police. Her dad can't know!

When we make it to the hospital, Adilynne seems as good as new. They put her in a regular room and hand her a hospital gown. Adilynne's face was slightly swollen, and red. It looks like she got into a fight.

I help her out of bed and into the bathroom. I shut the door and locked it behind us. I carefully take off her shirt so I don't hurt her. I help her keep her balance and she slips the gown over her head.

You can see a few bruises on her arms. She takes off her pants, revealing more bruises on her legs.

"Are you okay?" I ask her.

I kiss her forehead and gently hug her.

"Yeah," she whispers so quietly it's barely audible.

We stand against the wall opposite of the sink. She turns around so she's facing me. She places her hands around my neck and plants a kiss on my lips. I softly return it.

"Thank you," she whispers in ear.

She leans in kisses me again, this time I deepen the kiss.

"I love you," I tell her when we finally drift away.

"I love you too," she responds.

I hug her softly, and whisper, "does he abuse you?" But loud enough for her to hear.

She nods her head, saying 'yes' and I can feel my shirt being filled with her tears. I tangle my hand in her hair and run soothing circles on her back with my thumb.

"We have to go to the police after you get checked," I tell her in a calm voice.

She nods her head again and pulls away from me. I wipe away her tears, and help her out of the bathroom.

When she gets back in her bed a doctor comes in a runs some tests. A while later, he comes back and asks me to leave for a minute. I give Adilynne a reassuring smile and walk out of the room.

ADILYNNE'S POV

"I just need to go over a few things and it will help if I talk to you in private," the doctor begins.

I nod my head, mentioning for him to continue.

He clears his throat, "In the tests we found that you have a lot of alcohol in your system, underage drinking is a problem and we can get you help," he paused for a reaction.

When he doesn't get one he continues, "We also found that you are pregnant, the baby however is perfectly fine surprisingly, considering you have been without oxygen for a long time and the alcohol."

I'm pregnant? With my Fathers child!

Tears well up in my eyes and begin streaming down my face.

"Did you know you were pregnant?"

"No," is all I can say.

Austin came back in after I finished talking to the doctor and assured him that I won't drink. I also told him not to tell my Father, which he has no choice because of doctor-patient confidentiality.

He helps me back into the bathroom to change into my clothes.

I'm pregnant. This thought keeps repeating in my head over and over.

When I finish getting dress, I realize I have a sudden urge to pee. Not even caring that Austin is in here I go to the toilet and do my business.

"Adilynne, you could have at least warned me!" Austin said putting his face in his hands and turning around.

I manage to laugh. A real genuine laugh.

God knows how much I love him.

After I washed my hands, Austin pulled me in for a kiss. This time he kisses my jaw bone and works his way down to my neck. We're interrupted when someone knocks on the door. I pick up the gown up off the floor and Austin opens the door.

Damn it! No!!!
