Ever since I was trapped here, I found out that if I played nice, he would be good to me.

Yesterday when he visited me, he promised to bring me out for a walk.

I was already contemplating on how to get out of here. I could use this chance to escape.

Coming out of the bathroom, I found a package on the bed. Slowly walking towards it, I pulled away the ribbons and opened the box.

It was a red dress which reached until my knees. Attached to the dress was a pair of red-black stilettos.

What was this? A revenge theme? What was he up to?

I sighed, changing into the dress.

By the time I was done, the door opened as an old lady entered the room.

I could sense a familiarity from her face as I eyed her carefully. She looked so familiar.

"Have I met you before?" I blurted out without thinking, watching her as she pushed back her wig and revealed her true self.

It was Laura.

"What-" She cut me off as she covered my mouth. My words turned into muffled sounds as I stared at her.

"Don't make any noise, the guards are outside." She hushed me immediately.

I nodded as a sign of acknowledgement. She removed her hand and sighed.

"I know I have a lot to explain, but let me do that while I do up your makeup."

Still confused, I sat down on the stool and allowed her to do her job.

"Why are you here? Not as your own self, but an old lady?" I questioned, more like grilled her.

She chuckled, shaking her white bob. "I have disguised myself in order to infiltrate your room."

As she blended the concealer on my face, I thought through her words. "Who exactly are you? I have a feeling that you belong to an organization."

"You are indeed a smart woman. Now, I know what Chase sees in you..." She trailed off.

"Actually, I used to be part of Roderick's gang. But, Chase managed to convince me and won me over to his side. Throughout the five years, I worked with him to provide all the false information to Roderick. I am the mole they are currently searching for." She explained.

I clenched my teeth, trying to keep myself from exploding. "Then, what about the fact that you allowed him to take liberties on you?"

She laughed, putting down the eyebrow pencil. "I can sense jealousy from you. But don't worry, he remained as a virgin for the sake of you."

"He's not..." I trailed off, a tint of pink blush tainting my cheeks.

"So that's how Leo came about." She said while fiddling her jaws thoughtfully.

This made me blush even more.

"I think I should leave out the blush and move on to the lipstick instead." I could already feel that she was teasing me.

"Stop that, Laura." I hissed cheekily, rolling my eyes.

She raised her hands in surrender before turning me to face the mirror.

"Now you look like a beautiful lady boss ready for tonight's deal." She whispered.

I raised a brow instantly. "What do you mean by that?"

She stared at me in disbelief. "Don't you know that you are going with Roderick to meet Chase?"

"What?" My eyes widened as I gripped the hem of my dress tightly.

I looked away from the mirror, trying to withhold my anger. Roderick was using me.

What he was up to this time?
