Lucas P.O.V

Me, Carlos, Vi and Caitlyn looked back at the bridge and saw an explosion. That only meant one thing, Jinx sacrificed herself to stop those assassins from getting to us.

Lucas: No.

Carlos: Lucas. LUCAS!

I caught up with the others. But I'm still processing about Powder. I met the others in an alleyway.

Vi: I can't believe that just happened.

Caitlyn: she sacrificed herself, to give us a fine chance.

Carlos: Lucas, you still have the stone.

He turns at me, but I didn't say anything.

Carlos: Lucas?

Lucas: I should have been there. I should have been there for her and... If I had she would have been with us.

Carlos: Lucas, there's no way you can't blame yourself for this. She knew what she was doing.

Lucas: I could have done something.

Caitlyn: Come on, we got to hurry. My house is not too far from her.

Vi: You heard cupcake. Let's move.

Carlos and I chuckled a little bit. I still thought that I could have done something but, I guess I have to live with that. Knowing that Jinx was a hero. We made it in Caitlin's house, Vi opened the window and she crawled in first. Carlos went second and I went third, Dan Carlos and vi grabbed Kaitlin through the window. Then seeing her room for the first time in her room was actually kind of nice.

Vi: Who lives here. Another counselor friend of yours?

Then a door was kicked open and saw a 40-year-old woman pouring a rifle at us and we have shock oppressions on our face.

(A/N: pretend Lucas and Carlos were there)

Lucas:[whisper] you had to ask.

Caitlyn's Mom: Caitlyn?

Caitlyn's Dad: Oh. We were so worried.

He hugged his daughter.

Caitlyn's Dad: Thank goodness you're safe!

Caitlyn's Mom: and you found a stray and-

She was caught off by looking at us.

Caitlyn's Mom: Oh. Who are these fine boys?

I turned to my brother.

Lucas:[whispers] That's literally the first time an older woman called me "fine" before.

Carlos:[whispers] Trust me, I have. You get used to it.

Caitlyn: This is vi. She's from the undercity. And those two are Carlos and Lucas. My new friends.

Caitlyn's Mom: so I see. Can we have a word, Caitlyn? In private.

Caitlyn and her parents walked out of the room. Knowing that that was a weird and funny conversation.

Lucas: She seems nice.

Vi and Carlos looked at me.

Lucas: What?

Vi P.O.V

( 9 Minutes later)

I was laying on Caitlyn's bed and saw the two boys asleep. Then Caitlyn comes into the room.

Caitlyn: We'll present our case to the council tonight.

Vi: you did all this yourself? Without even going down there? And I thought powder could be obsessed.

Caitlyn sat on her bed next to me.

Caitlyn: what happened to her, it's not your fault.

Then she lay down.

Vi: when my parents were still alive... Me and powder used to share a bed like this. Except, Maybe, half the size. We played a game where we pretend to be bigger and bigger monsters. So she would say, "I'm a slug monster with venom ooze."and I'll say, "well, I'm a slug eating crab with razor spikes." Sometimes, I... I'd get carried away and she gets scared. I didn't want her to start crying and wake my parents up, so... I pretended to Chase my monsters away. I'd say... "No monster's going to get you when I'm here." Been a real monster showed up. And I just ran away. I left her.

Then I felt a hand on my cheek and I hold it. Knowing that it was Caitlyn's.

Carlos P.O.V

(12 Minutes later)

All four of us walk to the counselors room.

???: perhaps Marcus was operating independently. What could anyone in the undercity offer him that he didn't have up here?

Caitlyn: it's not what they offered him, it's what he had to lose.

Caitlyn's Mom: Counselors, my daughter has a unique insight into our situation.

Caitlyn: Thank you. Counselors, this is Vi. She was born in the undercity. Even though we failed her in countless ways, she risks everything to show me what life is really down there. People are starving, sick, ravaged by shimmer. They live in constant fear of the coordinated efforts of violent crime Lords. And these two are Carlos and Lucas. They're from what they told me about another dimension.

Some counselors were shocked and the others were in disbelief.

Caitlyn: one man leads this efforts. Silco.

???: We're done investigations for silco. Day you did no such levels of organization.

Caitlyn: and who let this investigation?

Jayce: what does this silco even want for us?

Caitlyn: he believes that the other City should be independent. He calls it the nation of Zaun.

Jayce: what about these?

He puts jinx's bombs on the table.

Jayce: Do you know who made them?

Caitlyn: No, well...

Vi: Her name is jinx.

Lucas: she was the one that saved your officer. And she was the one who sacrificed her stuff on the bridge. Right before, she gave me this.

My brother showed them that he still had the gemstone. Everybody was shocked and relieved that he had it

Mel: You have to HexStone?

Lucas: She gave it to me. So I can give it to you guys.

He placed the stone on their table.

???: Well this is good, the heck zone is back where it belongs. But, how can we be sure this never happens again.

Jayce: We'll go in there by Force.

Mel: That could trigger war.

Caitlyn: There are good people down there.

???: Hmph. Bad wants too.

???2: Even if we wanted to invade, they have shimmer.

Jayce: We have Hextech.

Caitlyn: What happened to you?

Jayce: We've been talking about talking for weeks now. They're still cleaning the blood off the bridge. When do we say enough is enough?

Mel: Jayce, you don't know war. I do. It must be our last resort. There may be a diplomatic solution.

???: She's right.

All of them were agreeing and at this point I can't blame them. It will be a deja Vu when the avengers were fighting thanos's army.

Vi: What? You want to negotiate with him?

Caitlyn's Mom: it may be the only way to avoid further bloodshed.

Vi: This is insane. Did you learn nothing? You can't talk to him! He hates you. Everything you stand for. He would never back down.

Maybe vi was right about Slico. He seems like the type of person that would burn their City to the ground.

???: enforcers, please escort them out?

Vi: forget it. I remember where your fancy damn door is.

Carlos: Vi.

She was ignoring me of frustration I chased after her and Caitlyn and Lucas found me. We made it outside to know that it was raining

Carlos: Vi, hang on!

Caitlyn: Vi! Wait! Wait! Where are you going?

Vi: I don't know. Back where I came from? Seems like that's what everyone up here wants.

Caitlyn: I can fix this.

Vi: You can't! This is how things are. How they've always been. I was so stupid to think it could change.

Carlos: But we can't just give up.

Caitlyn: He's right. There must be something else we can do. Some other way.

Vi: We tried. Okay? It wasn't enough. Topside and bottom. Oil and water. That's all there is.

Caitlyn: What about Us?

Vi: Oil and water. Wasn't meant to be.

We couldn't believe what she was saying right now.

Caitlyn: You're just saying that.

Vi: Do you guys a favor, you three. Go back to that big, shiny House of yours and just... Forget me, okay?

Vi walked away in the rain, but I couldn't just stand here so I chased after her.

Carlos: Vi, hang on. Look I know what you're going through.

Vi: No you don't.

Carlos: I too carry that burden.

She stopped and turned to me aggressively.

Vi: IT IS NOT THE SAME!

Carlos: IT IS THE SAME! If there's anything going through what you're going through it's me. We've both lost people that we cared about. Your leader. I'm a leader.

Vi: I'm not a leader. I'm Just a nobody who left her own sister behind. I'm just a coward for not being there for her. Vander and everyone else would have been ashamed for what I-

I caught her off by kissing her passionately. Then I stopped kissing her.

Carlos: Sorry, but, you just got to stop talking about yourself like that.

Vi:[whispers] then I won't say another word.

We kissed again. My arms were wrapped on her hips and her arms were wrapped on my neck.

Lucas: Aww.

We both stopped kissing and saw my brother looking at us.

Vi: oh my God.

Carlos: dude, how long have you been standing there?

Lucas: I just got here.

Carlos: Okay?

Vi: Why?

Lucas: well I was follow you guys until I walked into... This.

He was gesturing his fingers pointing at us. And we both laughed.

Carlos: all right, I think we all have our chance to breathe and calm down. Who's ready to take down a crime Lord?

Lucas: Ummm, just one question. How are we going to do that?

Vi: With a little bit of help.
