Where do we go? I wondered as I walked onto the deserted island. I walked alongside my friends, they had forced me into doing this, for a video of theirs. I regretted every decision I made to let them let me do this.

I steered away from them, walking by the shore. I knew that the boat wasn't coming, not for another day. We just had to survive another 24 hours.

"Um... Karen, what's that?" One of the boys said.

"Marco, it's probably just a-" I turned and stared at the animal in front of us.

"Guys, it's okay, it's just a vulturine guineafowl," Daniel told me as he stepped away.

"I think we should probably go anyways," Cyril said as he pulled them along.

"Yup, let's get out of here," Lucio said as he backed up.

They all headed away, who was to say they could survive. They just had to try their best, and hopefully, survive the night.

The boys started to film and create a shelter, I, on the other hand, started to go by the ocean, thinking of ways to get home, and trying to figure out how to get food. I figured I might as well go into the water.

I kicked my shoes off and dropped my bag, I felt the cool water surrounding my feet. I sighed, I was relieved, the water was helping in a way, better than it usually would, but I quickly felt something in the water, the ripples in the water just wasn't right. Nothing was.

"Ow!" I said as I jumped back and out of the water.

"Whoa! Karen, you okay?" Marco said as he rushed over to me and started to examine my foot.

"I'll be fine," I said as I got up, but instead of staying up, I fell. Blacking out, not knowing what was going on.

I found myself waking up like I did every morning, just now, I had a make-shift cast and cane. I was also not in a bed, instead on the sand with my four friends. I got up and looked at the watch on my hand. It was 10:31 am. The boat would've gotten here hours ago, and I knew that they were going to find us and that they would wait till we got out. They promised.

It had been days since the boat was due to arrive. I had realized that the boat wasn't coming, even though I still hoped for it.

I did know one thing for sure.

We were trapped.
