    "Hey, Taehyung! Please, stop."

Taehyung keeps walking towards his car, ignoring Jeongguk's calls as he fishes his my out of his pocket.

"Taehyung," Jeongguk says, grabbing the brunette's arm when he's close enough.

"Don't touch me." Taehyung says, snatching his arm away and trying to open his door.

"Taehyung, please." The ravenette says, putting his hand on the door to keep Taehyung from opening.

"Move, Jeongguk." The brunette says, looking down to try and hide the tears coming down his face. "I get it, alright? You don't want it, I don't have to have it."

"I do want it, Taehyung." Jeongguk says, trying to meet the brunette's eyes. "I'm just in shock, okay? And I wasn't trying to say you slept around. I don't even care if you do. I just haven't seen you in two months and then you show up out of nowhere~"

"I didn't start feeling sick sick until after the first six weeks. If I would've known before then~"

"Hey, hey look." The ravenette says, taking Taehyung by the shoulders, forcing him to look up at him. "It doesn't matter, all that matters is that you're here now. And...I don't know how it's possible, but you're pregnant, with my child. And you don't have to get an abortion, because I'll help you. You won't have to raise it alone."

Taehyung looks down again, sniffling as more tears fell. "I swear I didn't know, Jeongguk. I didn't know. And I'm not ready for a baby. I'm still in school and I have a dead end job~"

"We have time to think about all that, Taehyung. Don't stress yourself out."

    "We?"

"Yeah, we." Jeongguk chuckles, pulling the brunette into a hug, trying his best to comfort him. "We'll figure this out, I swear."

Taehyung sighs, hugging Jeongguk back. "This is crazy...We barely know each other."

"Well, then come back upstairs with me, and we can get to know each other." Jeongguk offers, pulling away from the hug and looking at Taehyung. "Besides, I think I owe you, at least, a half decent meal for being such an asshole at first."

Taehyung chuckles softly, nodding his head as he dries the remainder of his tears. "Okay."

"Yeah?" The ravenette smiles, holding out a tattooed hand for Taehyung to take. "Come on."

The brunette takes his hand, letting him lead him back to the apartment like a small child who just had a melt down.

"If I was the first guy you were with~"

    "Jeongguk."

    "Wait, hear me out."

Taehyung sighs a little as the climb the stairs. "Go ahead."

"If I was the first guy you were with," Jeongguk repeats. "Why'd you make it seem like you had one night stands all the time?"

"Because, I was trying to be confident." The brunette says, cringing slightly at himself. "I'm actually really shy when I'm not drinking."

"Oh." The ravenette says. "Well, I don't mind you being shy."

Taehyung chuckles. "Thanks for your permission."

"Come on, I wasn't saying it like that." Jeongguk says as they reach his apartment, opening the door and letting Taehyung walk in first. "I'm just saying that you're free to be as shy as you want when you're with me."

Taehyung rolls his eyes as he drops his backpack on the floor by the couch, taking a seat while Jeongguk grabs his phone from the kitchen.

"What are you feeling like for dinner?" The ravenette asks from where he leans on the counter.

"Whatever you want." The brunette responds, his mind wondering as he thought about what all this meant.

He was having the baby, he was actually going to have it.

And maybe it's the way Jeongguk promised to take care of him and the baby, or maybe it's how domestic he feels having dinner with him that night, but Taehyung couldn't help but feel a little excited.

But that little bit of excitement comes crashing down with one thought,

How the hell was he supposed to tell his parents?

~The next morning...~

Taehyung lies awake staring at the ceiling when his alarm starts blaring through his room, he quickly shuts it off but he doesn't move out of bed.

He wasn't sure why he was awake so early, it's not like he had to work anymore.

"Knock, knock." Namjoon says as he pushing the door open with his foot, carrying a tray with an array of different fruits and vegetables. "It's time for the most important meal of the day, Mr. Kim."

"Namjoon, you have to stop doing this." Taehyung laughs as he pushes himself up. "I can feed myself."

"I don't trust you to do it properly." The older says, sitting the tray down on his lap. "Even if you do have an abortion it's important to properly care for yourself~"

"I'm not." The brunette says, remembering that he got in too late last night to tell Namjoon. "I'm not having an abortion."

"No?" Namjoon asks, his eyebrows raising in delight.

"Uh-uh." Taehyung says, Namjoon's smile making him smile a little.

"Well in that case, I'll go get you some more rice." The older says standing up.

"No, don't." The younger laughs as he catches Namjoon by the arm. "This is more than enough, hyung."

"Wow, I can't believe it." Namjoon says sitting down on the bed, staring off for a second. "You're gonna have kid, like, a real life kid."

"Yeah." Taehyung chuckles softly, the realization not properly setting in yet. "I talked to Jeongguk for hours last night and he really put things in perspective for me, oddly enough. He made me feel like it wasn't impossible, y'know?"

"Yeah." Namjoon nods. "But you know that it's your choice, no matter what anyone says."

"I know, Joon. And I want to keep the baby." The younger says. "With Jeongguk's help I can finish school and find a job before the baby is even two."

"I think you can do it." The older says supportively. "But I wanna meet this guy. We all do."

Taehyung rolls his eyes, shaking his head as he looks down at his food. "I haven't even spoken to our friends since I walked out the other night."

"Why did you walk out?" Namjoon asks, stealing a piece of melon from Taehyung's tray.

"Because...I was embarrassed." The younger says, forcing out a short laugh. "I mean it's not everyday you hear about a guy announcing his pregnancy. I didn't know how they were gonna react."

"We've been friends for years, Taehyung. We all love you, and your pregnancy isn't going to change that." The older responds. "I explained everything that Dr. Song said, and they understand. They want to be there for you just like I do."

Taehyung pouts, feeling like a total jerk for storming off. "Really?"

"Yeah." Namjoon chuckles. "And there's no reason to be embarrassed. This is a miracle, Tae~"

"Oh, please. Don't go all fucking zen Namjoon on me right now." The brunette laughs, playfully nudging Namjoon with his foot.

"I'm really sick of everyone calling me that." The older laughs. "I'm not being zen, I'm telling you everything~"

"~happens for a reason. I know." Taehyung says rolling his eyes, chuckling softly as his phone pings with a message.

Namjoon reaches and grabs it off the bedside table, reading the notification. "Ooh, it's Jeongguk~"

"No, give it!" Taehyung exclaims reaching for the device quickly.

"Why? You don't want me to read it?" The older asks holding it out of his reach. "You aren't sending steamy messages this early in the morning are you?"

"No, you weirdo. Give it here." The brunette laughs, pouting as he reaches for the phone. "You're making me mad."

"Oh you look so angry, here." Namjoon says sarcastically as he hands the phone over. "Tell him he has to meet us within the next week."

"Oh, us?" Taehyung asks, raising his eyebrows in question. "Who is us?"

"Tell him." The older says nodding towards the phone. "Then tell him you have to eat your breakfast."

"Yes, mom." The brunette laughs as he opens Jeongguk's message. "Oh, he's just asking me to send all the appointment times to he can get off work."

"Hm." Namjoon nods. "What does he do?"

"You know, I don't even know." Taehyung says looking up from his phone. "He gets so weird every time I ask, and completely blows off the question."

"Weird." The older says, his eyes narrowing in suspicion.

"Right." The younger says as he shoots Jeongguk a text saying he'd send them later.

"I wish I could stay but I have to work." Namjoon says with a heavy sigh. "I'm sending Jimin to check on you while I'm gone."

    "Hyung," Taehyung groans. "I'm twenty-one!"

"Yeah, and you fainted at work a few days ago." The older shoots back as he stands to leave. "I don't want you to get hurt while you're alone. And pregnant."

"Okay, I didn't faint, my legs just gave out. And if I do get hurt I have a phone. I know how to call someone for help." The younger says. "I don't like being babied."

"Fine. I'll call Jimin off." Namjoon says rolling his eyes. "But make sure you eat lunch and dinner, remember~"

"~at least 1800 calories a day." Taehyung finishes with a wink. "Got it."

"Take care of yourself." The older says walking out of the room.

"I love you!" The brunette calls after him.

    "I know!" Namjoon calls back.

Taehyung laughs, shaking his head as he starts eating again.

After eating he forces himself to get out of bed, deciding to take some time for self care after showering, if he was going to be off for a week he could at least pamper himself.

Even as he's relaxing he still has one thing in the back of his mind.

Telling his parents.

~That afternoon...~

"We were surprised by the invite, Taehyung. We haven't been over in months."

Taehyung smiles as he lets his parents into his apartment. "I know, it's been a while."

"How have things been, son? Are you still working that retail job?" His dad asks, patting his shoulder as he walks in.

"Yep, I sure am." The brunette chuckles nervously as his parents show themselves to the living room. "I'll get you some water?"

"Okay?" His mother says, confused by her son's strange tone.

"Yeah." Taehyung says, biting his lip nervously as he walked to the kitchen and got them each a glass of water.

"The apartment still looks great, Tae." Mr. Kim complements. "Most college kids your age would've ran this place down by now."

"Yeah. Namjoon's kind of particular, so." The brunette says. "H-How are things at the company, dad? You just got a promotion I heard?"

"Yes, things are sailing smoothly for the time being." The man says.

"You guys should look into getting this place repainted." Mrs. Kim says, looking around the living room with judging eyes.

"I think it looks fine." Mr. Kim says, earning a slight eye roll from his wife.

"Okay, water." Taehyung says walking into the living, handing each of his parents a glass before sitting down.

"What is it that you wanted to tell us, Taehyung?" His mother asks, looking at him expectantly. "You're acting out of character, is something wrong?"

"No, not necessarily." The brunette says looking down at the envelope that sat on the coffee table between them.

"What's this?" Mrs. Kim asks after following his gaze. "This is a file from the hospital, Taehyung. Why do you have this? Are you sick? Or hurt?"

"Honey, give him a chance to speak. I'm sure everything's fine." Mr. Kim says, looking at Taehyung with the same expression as his wife. "Everything's fine right, son?"

Taehyung looks between both his parents, his eyes wide with panic as he tries to find the words to say.

"Son?" His father asks when he doesn't answer. "What's wrong?"

"I'm sorry, I just...I don't know how to tell you this." Taehyung sighs, glancing up at the ceiling and shaking his head. "There's really no easy way to say this..."

"You know you can tell us anything, love." Mrs. Kim says, her worried eyes making Taehyung want to burst into tears.

"Well..." He starts, his voice cracking slightly as looks down at his hands. "I'm pregnant."

The silence that falls over the room is so thick with tension that Taehyung feels like he's suffocating.

"I'm sorry?" Mr. Kim asks, most likely trying to convince himself that he heard that wrong.

"I'm pregnant." Taehyung repeats, fear clouding his features when he sees both his parents' hard expressions. "I can e-explain it to you, or you can read the packet. I had to read the packet because I just couldn't believe it at first. So maybe you should~"

"Pregnant?" Mrs. Kim asks, her eyebrow quirking as she says the word.

Taehyung nods, nervously fiddling with the sleeves of his shirt. "And I'm keeping it. I'm keeping the baby."

"You can barely take care of yourself, how do you expect to care for a child?" His mother scowls. "How could you be so selfish and irresponsible?"

"Mom, I didn't know." The brunette says, tears shimmering in his eyes.

"Oh, you didn't know." The woman laughs humorlessly. "Well you do know not to go around having unprotected sex, don't you?"

    "Mom, I know I screwed up~"

"You're right. You screwed yourself and you screwed that child, and I don't want any part of it." Mrs. Kim snaps, standing up abruptly. "We're leaving."

"Honey," Mr. Kim starts, not moving from his seat. "I know you're upset but~"

"There are no buts." The woman says to her husband before speaking to her son. "You need to get rid that thing, for your own good."

"Yeah, you should leave." Taehyung says standing up and crossing his arms, looking at his dad with tears in his eyes. "I'm sorry, dad."

Taehyung's father sighs softly as he stands. "Can't we try to settle this?"

"There is no settling anything. She called my baby a thing and I think you both should leave." Taehyung says, wiping away the tears that ran down his cheeks. "Now."

Mrs. Kim storms out of the apartment, slamming the door shut behind herself.

"I'll talk to her." Mr. Kim offers, a sympathetic look in his eyes.

"Don't. I don't want her in my life if that's what she thinks." The brunette says. "I'm sorry, dad. I really~"

"Mistakes happen, son." His father says. "It's how you deal with them that matters. And we can't tell you how to deal with this."

Taehyung nods, looking and biting his lip as a sob bubbles in his chest.

"Take care, son." His father says patting his shoulder as he leaves, something about his tone making this feel like his final goodbye.

Taehyung waits until the door shuts behind his father to break down in tears, sobs leaving his lips as he sinks down on the couch.

He's so angry and hurt, he just doesn't know what to do with all his pent up emotions.

He finds himself dialing Jeongguk's number, unsure of why he was the first person he thought to confide in.

   "Hey, Tae, what's up?"

    "Jeongguk...I need you."
