"I don't wanna stay here tonight. I wanna stay with my daddy."

Jeongguk sighs as he grabs Saebin's overnight bag from the passenger seat. He climbs out of the car before opening the back door for Saebin. "I already told you that your dad has to stay at the hospital. Namjoon doesn't want to leave him so you're staying here with me."

"But I don't want~"

"Saebin," The ravenette says in a warning tone. "Your dad and Namjoon need you to be a big boy for them and stay with me tonight. Can you do that for them?"

Saebin pouts, hanging his head as he climbs out of the car.

"Taehyung and the twins are coming too." Jeongguk says closing his door. "Does that make you feel any better?"

"Taehyung?"

"Yeah."

The eight year old nods, burying his face in Jeongguk's hip to hide his sad expression. Jeongguk puts his arm around him as they walk inside.

"I'm gonna start dinner, you can watch tv if you want." Jeongguk says after they get inside. "Nothing explicit please."

"Okay, hyung." Saebin says going to the living room.

Seokjin was doing well, the baby was perfectly healthy and he was bouncing back quickly from the medication he was on during the cesarean section. He and the baby both still had to stay overnight so Jeongguk offered to keep Saebin. He didn't mind helping his friends out.

He's finishing up the food he was making as Taehyung gets there with the twin.

"Taehyung's here!" Saebin calls rushing to the door. "I'm gonna help him get the twins."

"Okay, be careful." Jeongguk says drying his hands before following him out. The ravenette immediately smiles when he sees Taehyung getting out of the car.

"Hey, hyung." Saebin says hugging him. "Did you hear that daddy had the baby?"

"I did, how's it feel being a big brother now?" Taehyung chuckles as he ruffles his hair.

"I don't know, I only got to see her through the glass before Jeongguk brought me here." The boy pouts softly.

"Ah," Taehyung nods. "Either way I can already tell you're a great big brother."

"I'm gonna get them out." Saebin says going to unbuckle the boys.

"Hey," Jeongguk says approaching the car. "Are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah, as good as to be expected." Taehyung sighs as he watches Saebin closely.

"You can go ahead inside, I'll get them." Jeongguk says waving Taehyung on.

"Okay, okay. Don't wave your hand at me, I'm going." The brunette says turning to go inside. Honestly his feet were killing him and he desperately needed to sit down.

Jeongguk gets the boys inside with the help of Saebin, sending them to the living room before meeting Taehyung in the kitchen.

"Did you get to see the baby?" The brunette asks sitting at one of the barstools.

"Yeah, she's adorable." Jeongguk says leaning on the counter in front of him. "They're already obsessed with her."

"I know, I hope they don't focus all their attention on her. For Saebin's sake." Taehyung chuckles. "How's he been since you picked him up?"

"He was excited to get to the hospital and to see the baby." Jeongguk says walking to the stove to check the rice. "He wanted to stay at the hospital but he has work to finish before Monday."

"Do you need me to stay and help watch him?" Taehyung asks. "I don't mind."

"Would you?" Jeongguk asks, the brunette nodding in response. "The twins usually go to your parents but I'll keep them so we can all be together."

"Sounds like a plan." Taehyung says making Jeongguk chuckle softly.

The ravenette's phone starts vibrating against the counter, Jimin's name showing up on the screen.

"I'm going to check on the kids." Taehyung says when he sees who's calling, shooting Jeongguk a small smile before standing and leaving the kitchen.

Jeongguk sighs as he picks up the phone. "Hey, Jimin, what's up?"

"Hey, are you busy?" Jimin asks on the other line.

"No, I'm just throwing something together for Saebin. He's staying here until Seokjin's out of the hospital." Jeongguk responds. "Did you want to talk about something?"

"No, nothing specific really." The older says. "How's Seokjin doing?"

"He's alright, he has to stay over in the hospital tonight but he's fine." The ravenette says as he starts fixing Saebin's plate.

"So, uhm, when would you be free to hang out again?" Jimin asks. "I miss you, we haven't seen each other since Wednesday."

"I'm only off on the weekends really." Jeongguk says. "It's kind of hard to plan around the twins' schedule and mine."

Jeongguk feels a strange emotion stirring in his chest as he speaks to Jimin. He almost felt...guilty. He felt guilty for giving Jimin hope when his heart was somewhere else.

Jimin had been there for him durning some of his darkest times. When he couldn't force himself out of bed on bad days Jimin was there to tell him to stop feeling sorry for himself. When he wanted to give up on himself Jimin was his strength. He would never be able to repay Jimin for being there for him. The least he could do was not hurt his feelings.

"We should meet up soon, okay?" The ravenette says to the older. "I really need to talk to you about something."

"What is it? Is something wrong?" Jimin asks in concern.

"No, it's important though so I'll text you the next time I'm free." Jeongguk says. "It's nothing to worry about."

"Okay, well, don't forget to text me." The older says. "I'll talk to you later?"

"Sure thing." The ravenette says before ending the call. He stares down at his phone as he thinks about everything he's been through with Jimin. Even though he knew they could never work out it still hurt.

He really did love him at one point.

~Jimin's apartment...~

"You're a wreck."

Jimin walks away from the front door, stumbling a bit on his way to the kitchen. "I hope you didn't come all this way to be an asshole. I'm not in the mood."

Chiwon chuckles as he shuts the front door. Following Jimin to the kitchen and taking a seat across from him at the table. "Why are you so bent out of shape?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Jimin says pouring himself another drink. He's lost count of how many he's had by now and he didn't care. He just wanted to pass out already.

"I can tell you were crying." Chiwon points out as he takes the bottle of liquor. "What's wrong?"

Jimin looks at him with an annoyed expression, his eyes bloodshot and puffy. "I already said I don't want to talk about it, Chiwon."

"I obviously don't care." The older says sitting the bottle beside himself. "Are you still crying about Jeongguk?"

"No." Jimin lies, downing his drink as tears start to burn behind his eyes.

"Then what is it~"

"Why do I need to leave the country?"

Chiwon sighs, sitting back in his seat. "We've been through this already, Jimin."

"When you first asked me to help you things weren't this complicated." Jimin sniffles through his tears. "You told me to get him to meet you here. That's all you said. Why the fuck do I have to leave the goddamn country~"

"You won't if things go as planned!" Chiwon snaps. "How many time do I have to explain that? It's a precaution."

Jimin's hands tremble as he wipes his tears. He was terrified and he didn't know what to do. "I don't want any part in this anymore."

"It's too late for that." Chiwon huffs. "If you couldn't handle this you shouldn't have agreed to help."

"I haven't spent any of the money, Chiwon. You can have it back, I don't need it~"

"Shut up, Jimin." The older says standing, pacing the kitchen floor. "I already moved you into this place and gave you half the money I promised you. You don't get to back out now. You owe me."

"I didn't know you were going kill him!" Jimin snaps standing up as well. "I would've never~"

"But you did, so suck it up!" Chiwon shouts. "I told you...I want one thing from Jeongguk and it's up to him whether he gives it up willingly."

"Taehyung doesn't want anything to do with you. You can force him into whatever you want, he'll never love someone like you." Jimin says, purposefully poking Chiwon where it hurts.

Chiwon snaps, grabbing the liquor bottle and throwing at Jimin. The heavy glass barely misses Jimin's head.

The younger cowers as Chiwon grabs him by the front of his shirt. "Chiwon~" Jimin grunts in pain each time Chiwon's fist connects with his jaw, falling to the ground when the older releases his shirt.

"You've got some fucking nerve, you know that?" Chiwon chuckles hysterically as he wipes the blood from his knuckles. "Your so fucking pathetic, Jimin, it's sad."

Jimin pushes himself into a sitting position, holding his head down as he wipes the blood from his mouth. "Get out, Chiwon."

"You better get Jeongguk to show up soon." The older says as he walks to the front door. "You don't want to find out what happens if he doesn't."

Jimin covers his face, crying into his hands as he sat on the kitchen floor. He was becoming so mentally unhinged over this entire Jeongguk situation.

He just wanted to go back in time and do things differently.

He wanted to take it all back.
