~present, Wednesday...~

When Jeongguk pulls up to the curb in front of Taehyung's apartment he sees Seokjin's car parked in the driveway. He rushes out of the car when he sees the older looking inside through the windows.

"Hyung!" He calls getting the older's attention.

Seokjin turns to him, walking over to meet him halfway. "He's gone, his things are gone."

"What?" Jeongguk asks in alarm. "What do you mean?"

"The apartment's empty." Seokjin says with a worried expression. "I don't know what's going on."

Jeongguk walks over to one of the windows, looking inside and finding the apartment completely empty.

"Should I call the police?" Seokjin asks. "Something doesn't seem right."

"The cops aren't going to do anything. He moved, and he's been planning to obviously." The ravenette says. "It doesn't look like he left in a frenzy."

"Why would he do that without telling us?" Seokjin asks nervously. "He wouldn't do that, Jeongguk."

"I'm calling him again." Jeongguk says pulling out his phone, walking back to his car to open the door for the twins. His call goes directly to voicemail, not even ringing once. "Taehyung, I don't know what the hell is going on but you need to answer me, I'm not fucking kidding. You moved, and didn't bother mentioning it to me once?"

"Calm down, Jeongguk." Seokjin says, Taehyung could be in real trouble and being upset wasn't going to help the situation.

The ravenette sighs, closing his eyes in frustration as he continues in a calmer manner. "Can you just...please call me back? Or text me, or send me a goddamn sign because I'm really starting to get frustrated. This isn't like you. Call me back."

Jeongguk runs a frustrated hand through his hair as he scrolls through the messages he's already sent Taehyung.

"I'm gonna be late for work." Jeongguk sighs looking at the twins in the back seat.

"I can take them." Seokjin offers.

"No~" Jeongguk starts, he didn't want to put the boys off on Seokjin.

"I don't mind, really." He insists. "I'll keep them until you get off tonight."

"Are you sure? You really don't have to." Jeongguk says. "I can figure something out."

"I'm sure. I'll take them with me now." Seokjin says, he was worried and it was showing in his expression. "I'll get in touch with Taehyung's parents to see if they've heard anything from him."

"Okay. I'll keep trying his cell." Jeongguk says as he and Seokjin get the twins out of the back seat. "Whatever's going on I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for it. He wouldn't just leave and not tell us."

Seokjin nods but he doesn't seem convinced that things were that simple. It felt like something was wrong.

"They have enough food and bottles for today. I'll call you when I'm on the way to get them tonight." Jeongguk says closing Seokjin's back door after putting their car seats in with their diaper bag. "You're a lifesaver, hyung. I owe you one."

"I'll call if I hear from Taehyung." Seokjin says waving as he starts his car. "Be careful."

"You too." Jeongguk waves as he climbs into his car. Watching Seokjin pull off before taking his phone out to text Taehyung, yet again.

To: Taehyung
I'm worried about you, please say something

~Joohyuk's house...~

"Grow up, Taehyung. Crying over a broken phone is pathetic, even for you."

Taehyung ignores Joohyuk as he continues to cry, looking down at his cellphone with complete devastation behind his eyes. The screen was completely shattered, it wouldn't even turn on anymore. Just because Joohyuk caught him trying to respond to one of Jeongguk's many messages.

He knew Joohyuk would be pissed if he responded, but he had to. Jeongguk thought he just ran off without telling him. But that was so far from the truth. He had no choice but to go with Joohyuk.

"Shut up, Taehyung." Joohyuk says snatching the broken phone from his hands. "I'll just go get you a new one. Stop being so dramatic."

"Give it to me." Taehyung says through his tears. "I can still fix it."

"It's useless." The older says tossing it to the side. "I'll get you a new one when I decide I can trust you again."

His words work Taehyung up even more, his phone was the only thing he had left after Joohyuk dragged him out here. It was the only way he could contact anyone. The only photos he had of his boys were on that phone.

"You'll be alright." Joohyuk says pulling Taehyung into his side. "Calm down, babe."

"I want to be alone." Taehyung says pushing him away before standing to go to the bedroom.

He closes the door behind him before laying down on the large bed. Hugging a pillow to his chest as he continues to cry helplessly.

He couldn't blame his tears on his pregnancy, he wasn't crying because his hormones were out of wack. He was crying because he's never felt so trapped in his entire life.

After a few hours Joohyuk comes into the room, knocking softly as he opens the door.

"You have to eat, Taehyung." He says. His voice is gentle, a stark contrast to the harsh tone he used early when scolding the brunette. "Will you come out front for just a little while?"

Taehyung closes his eyes, keeping his back to the door. He wasn't hungry, the thought of eating made him feel sick. How could he eat when he didn't know when he'd see his boys again? When he didn't know when he'd hold them again?

"I'll bring you something then." Joohyuk says starting to turn away.

"Joohyuk," Taehyung says stopping him, forcing himself to sit up in the bed so that he could look at Joohyuk. "I'll do whatever you want me to, okay? I'll stay here with you...I'll have this baby, a-and whatever else you want."

Joohyuk turns to Taehyung, crossing his arms as he goes on.

"J-Just please don't make me leave my kids." The brunette begs, trying to swallow his tears. "I'll do anything you want if you let me see them, Joohyuk, anything. I swear."

"I'll think about it." Joohyuk nods with a smile. "Try to calm down, okay? I'll bring you some dinner then you can just relax for the rest of the night. Okay?"

"Okay." Taehyung says watching him walk out of the room. He feels just as discouraged now as he did before.

He just wanted to see his boys, that's all he wanted.

~Jeongguk's house...~

Jeongguk sighs as he carries both of the boys inside the house. Trying not to make too much noise as he carried their car seats to the nursery.

He still hasn't gotten a call or message from Taehyung, he was so confused about the entire situation.

Hanjae stirs as Jeongguk changes him into his pajamas, whimpering softly. "Shh, it's okay, Hanie." The ravenette says gently, humming softly under his breath to try to soothe the baby.

He somehow successfully changes both babies without either of them kicking up too much of a fuss.

After laying them down he goes to change out of his work clothes. His mind completely occupied by Taehyung and his whereabouts. It was so unsettling not knowing where he could be.

As he's throwing together some instant noodles the front door opens getting his attention. He smiles a little when he sees Jimin. "Hey."

"Hey." The older says walking to the kitchen. "Did you hear anything?"

"No." Jeongguk sighs. "I had to leave the twins with Seokjin."

Jimin nods, looking down at his hands as he tries to figure out how to start the conversation they needed to have.

"What?" Jeongguk asks when he notices Jimin's strange expression.

"Can we talk?" The older says looking up at him. "It's important."

"Yeah, of course." Jeongguk nods. "Just let me finish this real quick."

"Okay." Jimin says before going to the living room to wait for Jeongguk.

The ravenette joins him in the living room after a few minutes. Sitting down on the couch facing Jimin. "What's up?"

"I know we talked about labels when we first started...y'know." Jimin starts awkwardly. "And I told you how I felt about them."

    "Yeah, I remember." Jeongguk nods.

"I just...I know things have been going good. It's just that we haven't talked about labels since we've gotten closer." Jimin says. "And I feel like we should."

"That's fine." Jeongguk says. "Why so suddenly? Have things changed for you?"

"No, they haven't for me. I just feel like they have for you." The older says. "I don't want to hurt you, Jeongguk~"

"I haven't said anything about labeling anything." Jeongguk says. "Where's all this coming from, Jimin?"

"You said 'I love you' earlier before I went to work." Jimin says. "Even if you said it subconsciously you still said it. There has to be some truth to it."

Jeongguk falls silent as he thinks back to earlier today. "Did I?"

"Yes." Jimin sighs. "I'm just...I'm still not ready to be in a relationship, Jeongguk."

"I understand, and I've respected that. I just don't understand what it is you're waiting for, Jimin." Jeongguk says honestly. "We're practically already in a relationship."

"We already talk about this, Jeongguk." Jimin says, hurt shining behind his eyes. "You said you understood."

"I know, and I did. It just seems pointless to avoid it when it's already happening." Jeongguk says. "I love you, I do. I wasn't going to say anything because I didn't want to make you uncomfortable, but it's the truth. Which is why I think we should just make it official instead of ignoring the issue."

Jimin falls silent, his expression changing to one that Jeongguk has a hard time interpreting.

"What?" He says when Jimin doesn't say anything.

"I think we should see other people." The older blurts, causing Jeongguk to frown immediately.

"What?" He asks in confusion.

"I don't want to be in a relationship, Jeongguk, and that's not going to change. I'm sorry." Jimin says honestly. "I don't want things to end badly between us because we're on different pages."

"How does seeing other people relate to anything I just said?" Jeongguk asks. "I don't want to be with anyone else, Jimin."

"Things are the same for me, Jeongguk." Jimin says shaking his head. "I'm really sorry~"

"Have you been seeing other people the entire time you've been with me?" Jeongguk asks, this conversation wasn't going at all the way Jimin hoped it would have.

"Not the entire time~"

"So there's been others?"

Jimin sighs, looking up at the ceiling for a moment to collect his thoughts. "Yes, Jeongguk, I've had sex with other guys besides you. We aren't in a relationship, so it's my decision."

"Is that what all this bullshit is about? Sex?" Jeongguk asks narrowing his eyes in aggravation. "You use me emotionally~"

"I wasn't using you~"

"~just to turn around and screw some other guy? Are you afraid of commitment because you want to sleep around, Jimin?"

"Screw you, Jeongguk!" Jimin snaps, standing and grabbing his keys. "I thought you were someone that finally understood me and what I want. But you're just like Namjoon, you want too much from me."

"Is it too much to not want to play your fucking games, Jimin?" Jeongguk asks in the same harsh tone. "Is it too much to ask that you not screw other guys while you're screwing me?"

"You're being such an asshole." Jimin says with tears in his eyes. "I told you in the beginning that relationships are hard for me, Jeongguk. Why'd you even pretend to understand, huh?"

"I understood, Jimin, I respected your boundaries. I never even mentioned a relationship before today." Jeongguk says. "My question is, why didn't you mention that this was an open agreement in the beginning, huh? Why wouldn't you tell me that you'd be with other people while we were together."

"I didn't think I would have to explain that!" Jimin says defensively.

"But you knew I wasn't seeing other people. Or else you wouldn't have have brought it up tonight. You were the only one that was aware of that, Jimin."

"I'm sorry, Jeongguk. Okay?" Jimin says rolling his eyes. "I knew this was going to happen, I don't even know why I tried to make this work."

"It could've worked, if you would've told me we were friends with benefits instead of allowing me to become emotionally invested when you had no intention of ever taking this anywhere." Jeongguk says. "That's kind of fucked up, Jimin."

"How is it fucked up?" Jimin asks frowning in confusion. "I gave you a full disclaimer when we had that first conversation."

"You said that you weren't looking for a relationship right now, Jimin. How was I supposed to know you had no intention of ever being with me seriously?" Jeongguk asks. "Unlike Namjoon, who you felt the need to compare me to a second ago, I'm not going to chase after you for years. So please, by all means, go. Go date other people, go screw all the people you want to, but you won't do it at my expense. Goodnight, Jimin."

"Jeongguk~" Jimin says trying to stop the ravenette from walking away.

"Just go, Jimin. I'm done." He says walking back to the kitchen.

Jimin sighs as he turns to leave the house, drying his tears as he walks out.

He didn't want things to end this way.
