"I couldn't think straight throughout the whole interview, it was embarrassing."

Seokjin laughs, leaning against the counter as Taehyung makes Jaein's bottle. She was currently screaming her head off while Taehyung and Seokjin spoke in hushed tones in Jeongguk's kitchen.

"I know, baby, I'm sorry." Taehyung says shaking the bottle. "The worst part is that I said it first. Like, how does that happen? Was my brain not connected to my mouth at all?"

"You already told him you loved him though." Seokjin says. "What's the big deal?"

"I was in shock before, I'm completely fine now and I'm completely aware of my feelings." Taehyung says stopping outside the living room and talking lower. "And right now I'm feeling embarrassed."

"I think you're overreacting, slightly." Seokjin admits, matching Taehyung's quiet tone. "There's no reason to be embarrassed, he said it back. I'd understand if he didn't, but he did."

"I know, he's such dork." Taehyung sighs walking into the living room, picking Jaein up from her seat and giving her the bottle. She calms down almost immediately, her eyes falling shut. "She's such an easy baby, I love her."

"Who's a dork?" Jeongguk asks scrolling through his phone.

"No one." Seokjin chuckles. "I wonder where Yoongi is."

"Yeah." Taehyung says sitting down next to Seokjin with Jaein. Jeongguk's nurse walks out after they walk in, offering them a small smile as she leaves the living room.

Taehyung thought she was weird, she moved around like a ghost and she hardly ever spoke. He doesn't even remember if he's heard her voice more than once since they've been here.

"How are you feeling, Jeongguk?" Seokjin asks after she's gone.

"I'm fine, hyung." Jeongguk says, he always says he's fine. "Did you check on Saebin?"

"He's fine, he said doesn't want to come out here with us." Seokjin sighs, Saebin was still giving him the cold shoulder after he was forgotten after school.

"What'd your creepy nurse say?" Taehyung asks in a low voice so the woman wouldn't hear.

"She's not creepy, and she says I'm making pretty good progress." Jeongguk shrugs. "I don't really know what that means but I guess it's a good thing."

"Good." Taehyung nods. "Did Yoongi text?"

"Not me," Seokjin says. "I think he's still coming, he'd didn't say he wasn't."

"What's he got to tell us anyway, hyung?" Jeongguk asks looking at Seokjin. "They already told you didn't they?"

"Yeah, they told me." Seokjin says looking down at his phone, his ears turning red as he avoids answering Jeongguk's question.

"So...give us a hint." Jeongguk says.

"Don't be childish, Jeongguk." Taehyung says just as the door bell rings. "I'll get it."

    "I can~" Seokjin starts.

"It's okay, just take her." Taehyung says handing Jaein over with her bottle. "I'll just go let him in."

Jeongguk laughs a little as Taehyung leaves the living room. He's been avoiding being alone with him since he got here. "What?" He asks when he sees Seokjin smirking at him.

"You guys are ridiculous." The older chuckles, shaking his head as he looks down at Jaein. "If I didn't know you I'd automatically assume you both were in high school."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jeongguk asks, picking up his phone. "I don't know what Taehyung's deal is."

"Whatever." Seokjin says standing with Jaein. "I'm just checking on Saebin again."

"Mhm." Jeongguk hums as Seokjin heads to the dining room. He frowns as he scrolls through his missed calls, noticing an unknown number that has been calling since last night. His first thought is that it could be Jimin. His brother claims to be looking for him but he hasn't had any luck finding anything on him.

He locks his phone as Taehyung walks in with Yoongi, forcing a smile even though his entire mood feels shifted by the unknown number. It could very well just be telemarketers, or someone with the wrong number. But there's a small part of him that wants it to be Jimin.

"Hey, Yoongi," He smiles. "How have you been?"

"I've been fine." Yoongi says. "I'm sorry I didn't come sooner to see you."

"Oh, no it's fine. You're here now." Jeongguk says waving a dismissive hand.

"Are you doing okay still?" Yoongi asks taking a seat.

"Yeah, I am." Jeongguk sighs. "I'm making progress apparently, it doesn't seem like it."

"How was the drive, Yoongi?" Taehyung asks walking into the living room. "Did it rain any?"

"No, it was alright." Yoongi says. "I'm glad I could catch you two together."

"Is everything alright, hyung?" Taehyung asks sitting beside Yoongi. "Why'd you need to see us together?"

"So I didn't have to explain all this twice more than I really even want to." Yoongi chuckles. "It's not even a huge thing, I just rather tell you like this."

"What is it?" Jeongguk asks crossing his arms, giving Yoongi his undivided attention.

"Is something wrong?" Taehyung asks, he was genuinely starting to worry. Yoongi's expression was hard to read right now.

"No, there's nothing wrong. It's just that...well, I'm pregnant." Yoongi shrugs nonchalantly, rolling his eyes a bit dismissively. "It's not a huge deal, I just wanted you to know. You'd find out eventually and I didn't want you to hear it from anyone but me. I'm glad we could get that over with."

"Well...congratulations?" Taehyung says in confusion. He couldn't tell if Yoongi was happy about his pregnancy or not. "Did you know you were a carrier?"

"Yeah, I've always known." Yoongi nods. "I know I never said anything about it, even when you got pregnant. It just wasn't something I was ready to share. Plus, being a carrier doesn't always mean you're capable of having children. I didn't think it was necessary to say anything if I wasn't even sure I could have kids~"

"I get it, hyung." Taehyung says when he notices Yoongi starting to ramble. "I'm glad you're telling us now."

"Yeah, congrats, Yoongi." Jeongguk says, finally recovering from his initial shock. "You and Hobi are going to make great parents."

"Thank you." Yoongi nods curtly before standing. "Well, I won't stay. I just needed to get that off my chest."

"Are you sure? You don't have to rush off~"

"I should go, really." Yoongi says quickly. "I'm glad you're doing okay, Jeongguk, I'll let Hoseok know since he's been worrying about you."

"Okay, thanks." Jeongguk says looking at Taehyung in confusion.

"I'll walk you out, hyung." Taehyung says ignoring Jeongguk's confused gaze.

"Don't worry about it, I can show myself out." Yoongi says. "You guys take care."

Taehyung watches Yoongi leave the living room with a confused expression. He didn't know exactly how to interpret Yoongi's strange behavior.

"That was weird, wasn't it?" Jeongguk asks after the front door closes.

"Yeah," Taehyung says turning to him with a thoughtful expression. "Do you think he's happy about the baby?"

"He didn't start acting weird until I mentioned Hoseok." Jeongguk points out.

"Hm, maybe he just felt awkward breaking the news." Taehyung shrugs as Seokjin comes back in with Jaein. "Still no luck, hyung?"

"He won't say a word." Seokjin sighs softly as he hands Jaein to Taehyung. "Where's Yoongi?"

"He left already." Jeongguk says. "He told us that he's pregnant."

"Then he left in kind of a hurry." Taehyung says looking up at Seokjin. "Sounds weird, right?"

"He's just not an open person. It was probably hard for him to tell you guys." Seokjin says reasonably. "I'm sure it was nothing."

"Yeah, but he only got weird after I mentioned Hoseok." Jeongguk says again. "Do you think they're having issues?"

"I have no idea, honestly." Seokjin says shaking his head. "I'm gonna take Saebin home, guys. Maybe he'll talk to Namjoon."

"Okay, hyung. I'm sorry he's still upset." Taehyung says. "He'll come around."

"Give him five dollars, he'll get over it in a heartbeat." Jeongguk says. "Ten and he'll probably forget it even happened."

"I'm not bribing him." Seokjin says rolling his eyes. "I'll just give him the time he needs."

"Good luck with that." Jeongguk chuckles.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow." Seokjin sighs as he grabs his keys. "Come on, Saebin! We're going home!"

"See you guys later." Taehyung smiles as Seokjin leaves the living room, meeting Saebin at the front door before leaving. He sighs as he looks down at Jaein, her eyes shut at she drinks drowsily from her bottle.

"Are you still avoiding me?" Jeongguk asks after sitting in silence for a few minutes.

"I haven't been avoiding you." Taehyung says shortly without looking up from Jaein.

"Yes you have." Jeongguk says. "You haven't even looked at me since you've been here."

"That's not true." Taehyung says rolling his eyes. "What do you want me to do, stare at you like a weirdo?"

Jeongguk shrugs. "I don't know. I know I don't want you to avoid me."

"I'm not avoiding you." Taehyung says looking at him. "What's up with you being extremely sensitive lately?"

"Sensitive?" Jeongguk asks raising his eyebrows. "I have not been sensitive."

"Yes you have," The brunette chuckles. "You're almost making me miss the emotionally unavailable Jeongguk."

Jeongguk narrows his eyes at Taehyung for a second before pursing his lips and picking up his phone. Silently looking down at it without responding.

"Jeongguk," Taehyung says tilting his head expectantly.

"Hm?" The ravenette hums without looking up.

"Come on, I was joking." Taehyung says. "Don't throw a fit."

"I'm not throwing a fit." Jeongguk says shortly. "You said you missed me, so here I am."

"You're an idiot." Taehyung says standing. "I have to go pick the boys up. Is emotionally unavailable Jeongguk going so say bye or should I just leave."

"I'll say bye to Jaein." Jeongguk says putting his phone down and holding his hands out.

Taehyung opens his mouth in shock but he hands her over anyway. "Don't be a dick."

"Me? A dick?" Jeongguk asks looking up at Taehyung in fake shock. "Even emotionally unavailable Jeongguk is hurt by that."

"Alright, alright. I have to go or I'll be late." Taehyung says taking Jaein. "I'll bring the boys by tomorrow since you won't see them today."

"Alright, make sure you let me know when you start school." Jeongguk says. "So I can schedule the nanny."

"Okay, I should know by next week." Taehyung says buckling Jaein into her car seat. "Call me if you need me. And make sure you wake up tonight to take your medicine so you aren't in pain in the morning."

"I will, I promise." Jeongguk says. "Be careful."

"I will be. See you tomorrow." Taehyung says picking up Jaein in her car seat.

"Love you." Jeongguk says teasingly as Taehyung leaves the living.

"Yeah, yeah." The brunette says without looking back.

Jeongguk chuckles when he hears the front door close. He didn't have to hear Taehyung say it back to know that he loved him too.
