    "Are you okay still?"

    "Yeah. I'm fine."

Taehyung nods as he continues to rub soothing circles into Jeongguk's back. Letting him stay in his arms as long as he needed.

They've been laying in Jeongguk's bed in silence for almost thirty minutes straight. The ravenette's silent tears stopped a while ago.

After Taehyung hugged him Jeongguk didn't let go. Keeping him as close as possible even after his tears stopped. He needed him here right now, and he was afraid he'd leave if he let him go.

"I'm not going anywhere," Taehyung says as if he was reading Jeongguk's mind. His voice calm and patient. "It's okay."

"I don't know what's wrong with me," Jeongguk says brokenly. Speaking for the first time in half an hour. "I haven't cried in front of someone since I was a kid."

Taehyung chuckles softly. "That's okay. You can cry in front of me whenever you want."

Jeongguk sighs as he opens his eyes and looks Taehyung in the eye. Trying to interpret his expression. "What are you thinking?"

He shrugs before pushing Jeongguk's hair away from his eyes. "I'm just worried about you right now."

    "Why?"

"Because you looked so scared before."

Jeongguk blinks a few times as he tries to gain more control of his facial expression. "I'm only scared because I love you."

Taehyung pouts sympathetically. Unsure of how to respond to such a bold statement.

"I don't care what happens in this life, Taehyung. Nothing bad will happen to you or the twins." Jeongguk says, nothing in his tone making Taehyung doubt him one bit. "I swear."

"I'm not afraid, " Taehyung says with a small smile. "I'm never afraid when we're together."

Jeongguk smiles softly at him. His eyes flickering over Taehyung's features. "I know you don't love me, and I know you don't think I love you. But I want us to be together, Taehyung. And not just because of the twins."

    "Jeongguk~" Taehyung starts.

"I feel like you getting pregnant was destiny bringing us together." He continues in the same hushed voice he's been using. "I've never felt like your pregnancy was an accident because everything just feels right. Like this was always supposed to happen."

Taehyung sighs his expression changing to one of question and wonder. He's never felt like his babies were a mistake. Even in the beginning when he had no idea what he was going to do.

"We may seem different on the outside but I know there's some kind of connection between us that no one else has," Jeongguk says with a  small smile playing on his lips still. "I know it sounds crazy~"

"It's not crazy." Taehyung chuckles softly. Jeongguk's words making him feel warm and giddy inside. "I didn't know you believed in destiny, Jeongguk."

"I didn't." He shrugs. "But you make me believe in anything."

Taehyung pouts at his words. "You're such a sap, seriously. I'm seeing a whole new side of you right now."

"I literally broke down in front of you. I have no dignity left." Jeongguk laughs. "Don't get used to it either."

"Believe me I won't." Taehyung laughs rolling his eyes. He sighs before looking Jeongguk in the eye. Searching for a clue as to how he was feeling now. "Are you okay now?"

"Yeah. I'm fine." He shrugs with a heavy sigh. "I'm sorry about this. I think everything with my dad is just starting to get to me."

"Do you want to talk about it?" Taehyung asks hopefully. "It's okay if you don't."

"It's just...my dad doesn't treat me like he treats my brother. And he treats my mom horribly too." The ravenette says vaguely. Trying to be open about the things he could be open about. "I think he just hates my mother for the way I turned out. And he just hates me because of who I am."

"I'm sorry," Taehyung says with a sympathetic smile. Rubbing more circles into Jeongguk's arm as he continues.

"The bruises...they're from him." He says looking down as if he was ashamed. His tone changing as he spoke of his father's constant abuse. "I always thought it'd stop when I got older but it just got worse."

"God, Jeongguk," Taehyung says gently. His eyebrows drawing together. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know~"

"How could you have known?" He says looking up at Taehyung. Shrugging like it didn't matter. "It's just something that happens. And I'm used to it."

    "That doesn't make it right."

    "I know. It doesn't."

Taehyung frowns as he starts to get lost in his thoughts for a moment. He felt like a complete asshole for even asking now. Jeongguk probably wasn't ready to tell him about this yet.

"Don't worry about it, Taehyung. It doesn't happen as often as it did when I was a kid. And I plan on leaving for good when I figure out how to get my mom to come with me." Jeongguk says when he sees how worried Taehyung's gets.

"Leaving Seoul?" He asks looking at him again. Worry still clouding his gorgeous features.

"Not necessarily. Just leaving my dad." Jeongguk sighs. "But I haven't figured it out yet. I'm just focused on you and the twins right now."

"Whenever you decide to start figuring it out I'll help you," Taehyung says. "Just let me know."

Jeongguk chuckles softly at that. Taehyung was completely oblivious of all the shit he was volunteering to help figure out. "Okay."

"Thank you, Jeongguk." He says genuinely. But he seems to be thanking him for something else.

"For what?" Jeongguk asks in confusion.

"Just for being here. And for trying." Taehyung says. "It means a lot to me."

"You're welcome." Jeongguk chuckles. "I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be, Tae. And I'm not going anywhere."

"I believe you." Taehyung nods. His words meaning more than anything at this moment. As he and Jeongguk stared deeply into one another's eyes.

Each of them knows deep down that they were exactly where they were meant to be. Whether it was destiny or a happy accident, this felt right.

"I want to kiss you," Jeongguk says in a hushed voice. His longing gaze lingering on Taehyung's lips.

"I want you to kiss me." He shoots back with a small smile. His words surprising Jeongguk as he looks at him.

"Are you sure?" He smirks softly. Already leaning closer to the brunette. "Because this completely destroys our platonic co-parenting vow~"

"Shut up." Taehyung laughs as he pulls him in. Pressing his lips to his for the first time since the night they met.

Jeongguk smiles into the kiss before deepening it. Moving his lips against Taehyung's in a perfect rhythm that only they could create.

Maybe Taehyung was too wrapped up in the idea that destiny brought them together. Or maybe he was just giddy with excitement as he kissed Jeongguk.

Either way, the kiss felt magical.

~The next morning...~

Taehyung lays in Jeongguk's bed alone staring at the ceiling. Fidget nervously as he lays there contemplating last night. The emotional high he was on last night was over and reality was finally starting to set in.

Had he made a mistake when he decided to have sex with Jeongguk last night? Kissing him was one thing, but had he crossed the line?

He didn't exactly regret sleeping with Jeongguk he was just worried that this would change things so much between them.

How was he supposed to act when he saw Jeongguk today? Was he supposed to talk about last night or pretend it didn't happen?

Taehyung groans as he turns onto his side. "Don't be a coward, Taehyung."

He throws the covers off of himself and gets out of the bed. Sighing softly at the dull ache forming in his side. He was entering his nineteenth week and it was quite literally kicking his ass.

The twins' movements are getting stronger and he's starting to feel them moving around way more than they did last week.

He leaves Jeongguk's room and goes straight to his. Quickly finding some clothes to change into before going to take a shower.

He takes his time getting ready. Mostly using the time to get over his unnecessary nerves. He didn't know why he was anxious to see Jeongguk.

Maybe it was because he knew things would be back to normal with him. He wouldn't be as open or emotional as he was before.

When he does finally finish getting ready he heads out front. Raking down his damp hair with his fingers as he walks out.

Jeongguk sits in the living room playing video games in front of the flatscreen. His eyes glued to the screen, blank and expressionless. He wears his signature sleeveless black t-shirt tucked into a pair of black jeans. Piercings adorning his face for a change.

Taehyung hesitates to say anything when he sees Jeongguk's guarded expression but he does anyway.

"Good morning." He says smiling as he walks to the kitchen.

"Hey," Jeongguk responds looking over at him quickly before returning his eyes to the television. "You okay?"

"Yeah," Taehyung says opening the refrigerator and grabbing a water. "The twins are nineteen weeks today. They should be the size of a...?"

"Mango." Jeongguk finishes for Taehyung when he sees him thinking about it.

"Yeah. A mango." He chuckles as he grabs his vitamins. Pouting softly when he realizes how fast they've been growing. "Just yesterday they were raspberries."

"Yeah," Jeongguk says without looking away from the T.V. His eyes still hard and unreadable as he bites at his lip ring.

Taehyung sighs softly as he takes his vitamins. Glancing at Jeongguk from time to time to try and figure out his expression.

"So, uhm, do you wanna do breakfast?" He asks with a smile. Still trying to get a conversation going with the ravenette.

"You want me to cook?" Jeongguk asks glancing over at him quickly. Sounding like the last thing he felt like doing was cooking.

"No. We can go out. Or order something." Taehyung shrugs. "Whichever, it doesn't matter."

"I would but I don't really have time. I have to go do some stuff for my dad." Jeongguk says standing and turning the television off. He walks down the hall without another word. Returning wearing heavy black boots and a black leather jacket. "I'll be back."

Taehyung doesn't respond as he grabs his keys and walks out the front door. He hesitates momentarily before following him out of the apartment. "Hey," He says stopping the ravenette before he went down the stairs.

Jeongguk stops when he hears his voice. Facing him with a confused expression on his face. "Wha~"

Taehyung takes his face in his hands and pulls him into a kiss. Ignoring the way his piercings dig into his lips.

Jeongguk is shocked by the gesture but he kisses him back. His arms slipping around Taehyung's waist as he deepens the kiss. It's a short kiss, but it's heated and filled with passion.

Taehyung breaks the kiss first. Pressing his forehead against Jeongguk's for a moment as he caught his breath. "Don't stay out all day, okay?"

"Okay." He breathes out. Still caught off guard by the kiss as Taehyung lets him go.

"See you later." The brunette smiles softly as he walks back into the apartment. Leaning against the door with a heavy sigh once it's shut behind him. He can't help but laugh a little at himself as he walks back to the kitchen.

His phone vibrates against the counter with a message from his support group.

He joined the group back when he first started having those depressive episodes during his pregnancy. Every time he googled what to do about his depression most of the responses told him to join a support group.

The only problem was that he could never find a support group that fit his current position. Male carriers are so rare that he doubted one even existed.

But after a few countless hours on the internet, he found one. It was completely anonymous and it offered great advice and support when he needed it. He was even getting along well with one of the dads.

KS: I know we just recently started messaging each other but I really want to meet up! What do you think?

Taehyung smiles at the message. He's been messaging this KS person for almost two weeks. Which wasn't a long time at all. But within those two weeks, he's learned so much about him that he felt like he wasn't a stranger.

Taehyung found out that he was a male carrier in high school. And he was now a single dad of a little six-year-old boy.

KT: Aw, that'd be great! Do you live near Seoul?

KS: I actually live in Suwon! Wow, we should definitely meet up soon.

KT: I'm free this weekend if you're up to it...?

KS: Sounds like a plan! Just tell me where I should meet you.

KT: Sounds good!
