Sounds of the waves hitting along the beach were heard early in the morning as Sylveon ears begin to twitch, she stirred abit, slowly opens her eyes and stretches before yawning as she got up shaking some of the sand off her fur.

She looked around and sighs.

"So it wasn't a dream after all, darn" she looks over and noticed Umbreon who seems to have slept close to Sylveon side while she was sleeping "why did it have to be him, just why Arceus...ugh, he only evolved last week and he's still a handful," She sighs to herself not very happy "guess I have no choice, he still needs someone to watch over him" she reaches over and gently pokes his nose while leaning closer to his ear "wake up Umbreon, it's morning"

His body begins to stir abit until he opens his eyes and sees Sylveon giving her a tired smiled "Morning Sylveon" he yawned while stretching before getting up and shaking the sand off his fur.

"Mmm, morning Umbreon, did you sleep well?"

"Yup Yup, I sure did" Umbreon replied happily still sounding tired as he rubs one of his eyes.

Nodding her head, she looks over at the bag of berries from last night "come on Umbreon, lets eat then we need to find out where we are" Sylveon said motioning her feelers to Umbreon to get him to follow her.

"Okay" Umbreon said with a smile as he follows Sylveon to the bag of berries.

The fairy and dark Eeveelutions begin to eat several bits of berries that were in the bag since there was a bunch of them still in the bag, Umbreon wanted a few more but Sylveon made sure that they were saved for later since she still didn't know where they were.

After they were done eating, Sylveon went over to the water with Umbreon and starts to drink from it.

"Ugh, too salty" she stuck her tongue out not liking the taste but it was the only source of water she had to drink from for now "I hope I don't get sick"

Umbreon was slurping away before looking at Sylveon "yummy, the water taste very good" he said to her.

She rolled her eyes "whatever" she said before walking away with Umbreon following her "I just hope he doesn't get sick, don't need that to happen"

Sylveon lead the way with Umbreon following, the two of them stayed quiet as they were walking across the sandy beach, Umbreon wanted to say something to Sylveon trying to strike up a conversation but he didn't know what to say, he looks over to his left and saw rows of trees leading into the interior from wherever they are at.

"Um how long are we going to keep walking along the sandy beach?" Umbreon asked Sylveon.

"Till i figure out where we are at" Sylveon replied to Umbreon question not looking at him.

"But wouldn't it be more fun to see what's in the forest over there?"

She didn't respond to Umbreon question as she stayed focus on the beach ahead.

"Sylveon did you hear me?"

She heard him but she wasn't responding to him for she was still staying focus.

"Sylveon you awake?"

He pokes her cheek with one of his paw fingers only for one of her feelers to slap it.

"Say something, please"

She ignores him staying focus as the two of them came to the end of the beach and she looks up seeing a huge rocky cliff that looked very dangerous to climb along with vines sticking out from the cliff.

"Okay, this is a cliff, now to see what's at the other end of the beach" Sylveon thought to herself as she hits Umbreon on the head with one of her feelers motioning for him to follow her.

Both Eeveelutions turned around and start walking again with Sylveon taking the lead and Umbreon following her from behind.

They stayed quiet as they walked, footprints being left in the sand, the sounds of waves crashing along the beach and the sun shining in the sky.

They came upon their small campsite with the bag of Berry's still there and Umbreon went to retrieve the bag as he was getting a little hungry.

"Sylveon I'm hungry, lets eat" he said running over to the bag.

Sylveon sighs and nods her head "Okay, wouldn't hurt to have a couple berries" she smiles softly to herself walking over to where Umbreon was.

Umbreon opened the bag and took an Oran berry out, taking a bite out of it while Sylveon put one of her feelers in the bag taking an Oran berry out as well and brings it to her eating it as well.

The flavor and nutritions in the fruit were delicious to both of them.
