Page 7: Labyrinth of The Forest

I was between titling the page, 'Truly Trapped' and this, I chose this.

I lied down somewhere and went to sleep. I woke in morning, wishing it was just a bad dream. But no, I was all alone, this was real. "They all must hate me now... even her." I said to myself. "You didn't need them anyways, you don't need anyone, they only hold you back. If anything, this is better." The spirit said, without even appearing this time. "THIS IS NOT BETTER AT ALL!" I screamed, "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" I began to run, making all kinds of twists and turns to make myself get more lost. "No can do, you made that deal with me." He said, appearing again. "Why don't you just kill something? You'll feel better, and besides, they can't have bad thoughts about you if they're dead, so why not just kill them?" He asked.

"I couldn't possibly kill them... they don't deserve it especially not her." I said, crying. Only then realizing he's been speaking to me without even appearing, but before I could think about that, "Kai!" I heard someone call out, like they were looking for me. "How the hell?!" I questioned, I ran again, making all kinds of twists and turns. I soon found a small hole in something, the hole was just big enough for me to fit into I ran past it and then masked my scent by following the path exactly as I went back and crawled into the little hole I had found. Hopefully she won't find me. I hope she'll give up and go back. I thought. And after some time I heard footsteps, I got myself completely concealed, and held my breath. I waited for the footsteps to fade out. I poked my head out and looked around after the footsteps had faded.

I didn't see her but I didn't want to take my chances, so I curled up and fell asleep, I woke up at around nightfall. I crawled out and shook out my fur and started walking. The darkness wasn't a problem for me anymore. At this point, I had no clue where I was going, I had no clue which direction was North, East, South, nor West. All I knew was that I was cold, hungry, thirsty, alone, and lost. If I was going to survive... I would have to forget about her, and everyone else, I would have to let myself starve, only eating on the last day before death of starvation, same with drinking, but with cold, well I just have to remain cold. Little did I know, being alone would slowly drain my sanity.

I continued to walk, I could no longer tell if any areas looked familiar or different. After a couple days I visibly changed, I was constantly shaking but not because of being cold. My fur was constantly on edge, my eyes looked strained and bloodshot. I was mumbling to myself, I began to hallucinate as well, I hallucinated that I was back at home, I hallucinated her being in front of me. I was losing my mind, even the evil spirit was becoming concerned. I heard my name be called. "I-I-I'm-m-m" random gibberish "c-c-co-co-coming-in-in-ing." I stuttered under my breath. I saw what I thought was another hallucination of this unknown dragon. What I didn't know was I had been lost in a special type of forest which would explain why my sanity drained so quickly. My sanity was low enough that my mind had broken.

I couldn't remember her name, much less appearance or personality, or anything about her, yet I was still able to hallucinate that she was there. "Wh-wh-who a-a-are y-yo-you? More random gibberish Wh-wh-what d-do y-y-yo-yo-you w-w-w-want?" I asked, stuttering horribly. She ran to me, but when she looked into my eyes she stopped dead in her tracks. My eyes were dull and bloodshot, little to no sign of any life, or sanity even, much less thought. She ran over and hugged me tightly. I was shivering so violently too. "G-g-ge-get o-o-off m-me c-c-c-creep." I said, my claws were extending and retracting quickly, I had little to no control over my reflexes much less defense reflexes.

"It's okay hun, I'm here for you now..." she said. "Wh-Wh-who a-a-are y-you?" I asked. "Don't you remember? It's me, Snow." She said, hugging me tighter. The warmth I felt and name was familiar but so distantly familiar. "C'mon, let's go home." She said, guiding me by my paw. "Wh-wh-what i-i-is home?" I asked. "I'll show you." She said. "O-ok-ok-okay." I said in response. She took my paw and led me back to this 'home.'

Well I'm feeling so bad for Kai, who's with me on that?
