Connor sat on the hard bed in the doctors office, clothes off, waiting for his results. Mark, his assigned doctor, finally opened the door with a clipboard in hand. "Is there somthing wrong with me?" Connor asked. Looking down at his papers Mark replied "Fortunately no, we can only hope this malfunction you say your having is only because of the recent update. If this or anything similar happens again, you should come back. But for now, there's nothing we can do." Connor began to dress again "So I'm in perfect condition to return to work, correct doctor?" "It would seem so... But Connor.." the doctor paused, causing Connor to look up. "Be careful not to get too involved with these deviants. I know it's your job to hunt them down, but we think that being around deviants could turn a perfectly normal android into one." Connor finished dressing and nodded to the doctor, "Thank you for seeing me, doctor. Have a nice day." Mark sighed and gave Connor a smile "You too."

Connor took the bus down to the Detroit police station where he would continue his work. As soon as Connor stepped off the bus, he could see Hank rushing over. "Connor! Great your here, we've just been assigned a case across town. I thought I was gonna have to take it myself. But I see God isn't blessing me today." Without a word Connor got in the car, and began their drive to Charleston's Church, across town.

The scene was indeed a sad one. A young couples wedding day, the groom killed, the bride disappeared, and a beyond horrified crowd of family and friends. Connor wasted no time, getting out of the car and making his way over to a few witnesses. "What exactly did you guys see?" Connor asked an older man with a tux, holding a glass of wine. "Everything was going smoothly. Shelly - er- the bride, was about to say her final 'I do' when suddenly her Hk400 came from behind the couple and slit the grooms neck. All of us knew she was making a mistake marrying that dumbo, but that android sure had guts" the man let out a loud laugh. Connor detected some intoxication from the man, "Thank you for your co-operation" he said before walking into the church.

Chairs that had probably been neatly set up were now scattered, probably from the horrified guests. Connor made his way up the isle, taking note of all the things left behind. One of the items being a camera, which was still on it's stand pointed towards the front of the room. Connor made his way over to the body and discovered that the man's story and the slit on the grooms neck matched up. The grooms wedding ring was still on his finger. Connor walked over to where the bride would have been standing, and discovered her ring. why would she take it off? walking behind a curtain that stood to hide the rest of the church for the ceremony, Connor found the back door open with no trace of the bride or the missing hk400. After collecting as much information as possible, Connor made his way back over to the camera. He realises it was still recording, so he turned it off. "Lieutenant Hank, I've found a critical evidence peice" Connor stated. Hank made his way over and examines the camera "Well, looks like this thing is our last hope. If it doesn't have anything, this case is going cold."

Hank and Connor finished up, then made their way back to Hank's old-beat-up car. The first five minutes were quite untill Hank broke the silence, "So how did that appointment go? Figure anything out?" Connor turned to face Hank, who's eyes did not move from the road "The doctor thinks I'm perfectly fine. But...." Connor trailed off. "But what? Why the fuck are you acting like this?" Connor quickly returned his attention to the passing images outside the window. He didn't understand why his body was acting this way. "I'm... I'm not sure lieutenant.." Hank gave a sort of concerned glance towards Connor, but shook it away. The car was too quiet the rest if the ride home.
