Trapped
Hello, everyone!
If you ever read my other book, my Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons, you will notice that I had never made an appearance in it. I am going to now, though, in this book. I won't make one every chapter, but it something exciting happens or something like that.
I got this idea one night in a dream. I don't even know how it happened, but it just suddenly but in. It was one of those times when you are dreaming something else, something that is completely unrelated, and an idea for a story just suddenly comes in. Have you ever had this happen?
Anyways, I am not sure if I am going to continue this story, so I would very much like it if you comment below about your opinion. Should I continue, or should I not?
Thanks for reading, and enjoy!

Prologue
Jack pressed himself against the wall. He was hiding, though he knew that there was no way out. Pitch Black would find him, no matter what the cost.
He couldn't use his magic. His staff sat next to him, useless in his hand, though Jack clutched it tightly. The other guardians would find him. All he had to do at the moment was wait, and stay out of sight.
Jack turned his head and looked at the few pieces of glass on the ground, examining his reflection. He blinked a few times, still not used to the look of the boy who was looking back at him. But he knew that it was true. And he was going to have to get used to it. He just wondered what Jaime would say when he saw him like this.
Jack rubbed his arms. It was really cold. His breath shown out in the damp of Pitch's lair. Of all the times for it to be cold, He thought. Jack shivered. What was he going to do?
He needed a plan. But as of that moment, he wasn't sure of what to do. All that he wanted to do was keep warm. Jack had never been cold in his life, but he was now.
Jack closed his eyes and laid his head against the wall. Where are you guys? He thought. I could use a little help, here!
Jack wasn't sure how long it had been before he fell asleep, but eventually peaceful blackness overtook him. He dreamed of being his old self again, throwing snowballs and having fun with Jamie and his friends. He missed the wind and flying. When the other guardians had seen his condition, they all softened up to him. Jack didn't mind, but he didn't want their sympathy. What he wanted was whatever Pitch had stolen from him, and to return to normal. It hadn't been an easy 2 weeks.
A sharp bang brought Jack back to reality. His eyes snapped open to see Pitch in front of him. Jack had never been afraid of the Boogyman, and he tried to show it to Pitch, but in reality deep down he was afraid. There was nothing that he could do. He had no powers anymore to protect himself. And Pitch seemed to be enjoying his revenge.
"Get up, Overland," He snapped.
"That's not my name!" Jack argued back. "It's who I was, not who I am now!"
"But Jack," Pitch smiled evilly. "Don't you see? It is who you are now."
