Chapter 10

"Wait, why didn't it work?"

"Maybe Elsa just isn't what you need."

I shivered, looking at Elsa, who looked as though she was trying to hold something in. "Jamie, the kinder way to say it is that maybe Elsa wasn't the answer to the riddle."

"Or that."

I looked to the ground, before feeling a hand on my shoulder. "Hey," Elsa said. "We'll find out what's up. Don't worry." I looked up at her and smiled.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"An act of true love?" North asked.
"Yep."
North scratched his beard. "And it didn't work with you and Elsa?"
"Nope."
(By the way, we had dropped Jamie back at his house if you were wondering)
I sighed. "How come it didn't work? I mean, if it really is an act of true love, then why didn't..."
Suddenly, Tooth spoke up. "I think that I may have an idea. Just repeat the riddle once more."
I nodded. "I have no wings, yet I can fly,
I am not dead, yet not alive,
I am cold, yet I am warm,
At times I am a reckless storm.
To get everything back that I desire,
There is one thing that I must acquire,
A thing only I will know,
For I had died so that they may grow."
Tooth smiled. "Yes!" She cheered. "Jack, you need to come with me! To the Tooth Palace!"
I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Wait, why?"
"Because I have what you need. Or, well, I don't, but someone does."
"Who?"
Tooth smiled. "Baby Tooth."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After taking a snow globe portal to the Tooth Palace, we touched down in the Sleigh.

"Jack, you are never driving again." North told me as we jumped out.

"Hey, you were the one who gave me the reins!" I argued.

Tooth started to fly around the Palace, saying things to some of the fairies that passed by. They were all buzzing around, taking quarters or teeth to different places. "Baby Tooth!" Tooth called.

After a moment, Baby Tooth came. She smiled brightly when she saw me and flew over, hugging my cheek a little bit, before giving the same treatment to Elsa. I smiled, before Baby Tooth flew back over to Tooth. Tooth smiled back to her.

"So, what is it that Baby Tooth has?"

Tooth looked from me to Baby Tooth, before telling Baby Tooth the riddle. Baby Tooth's eyes widened for a moment, before she nodded. Tooth looked back to me. "There's something that I have to tell you."

I nodded.

"It's about your sister. She lived on, and married and had children. She never stopped believing in the Guardians, and even wrote a book. It was called, Jack Frost, after you. She told the story about a boy who died at a young age, and was brought back to help protect the children of the world. He went around bringing the winter and having fun, though no one could see him."

I remembered.

"Jack, will you tell me a story?"

"What kind of story?" I asked.

"Any story." Emma smiled.

Sitting at the foot of her bed, I furrowed my eyebrows, thinking of one. Then, it hit me.

"Alright. But be warned, this story isn't the happiest."

"That's okay."

I smiled. "Well, it's about a boy. He has white hair and blue eyes, like crystals. His name is Jack Frost."

"Jack, that's your name!"

"No it's not, it's Jack Frost's name! Em, you have to remember that my name is Jackson Overland! Jeez."

"Fine! Just continue."

"Well, he died at a young age."

"How?"

"Ice skating. He went too close the thin ice, and fell in."

"That's terrible!"

"Yep. But it was okay, because he was brought back as a spirit. He's the one who brings winter every year and starts the snowball fights and snowman building competitions."

"Really?"

"Uh huh. But there is only one thing about him that is the most sad."

"What?"

"He doesn't remember who he is, and no one can see him."

"Jack, that's two things!"

"You're ruining the story," I complained. "He goes around, bringing joy and fun, but no one can see him."

"Why not?"

"Well, because you have to believe that he is real to see him."

"Does no one believe?"

"Not quite. Me and him are best friends. It's almost like we're twins."

"So, what happens if I believe?"

"Then you can see him. Though, he can be shy sometimes, and you may not see him. But if you believe in him, then you can see him. And he will be your friend until the day that you die."

"Wow. So, what happened to him?"

I smiled to Emma. "That, dear sis, is something that you have to find out on your own."

"Uh, yeah, what about it?"

"Well, I'm going to tell you that after she died, I asked her to join me as a tooth fairy. She agreed. And here she is!" Tooth held out her hands to Baby Tooth. "Tada!" She giggled.

Baby Tooth (or should I say Emma? Oh well, I'm just going to go with Baby Tooth) flew over to me, and with a smile, gave me a light peck on the cheek. Suddenly, I felt a little weird, and all I could see was blue. Then, after I blinked, everything went back to normal.

"Did it work?" I asked.

"How about you answer." Bunny smiled.

I raised my staff, before placing it on the ground. Ice began to spread out on the floor. A smiled formed on my face, before I called the wind, jumping out the window. I laughed as I flew. "I MISSED FLYING SOOOOO MUCH!" I screamed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We went back to the Pole. I was standing and looking out the window.
"Hey."
I turned around and looked to see Elsa. She walked over to me. "Uh, hey." I smiled back to her.
"So, I wanted to ask you about...um..."
"Oh," I said, my mouth forming an 'o' shape. "Well..."
Elsa smiled. "You know, I don't mind you having a crush on me. The only thing is, I don't know if..."
I smiled. "Well, you know Elsa, I think that we are probably just much better off as friends."
She smiled back. "I was going to say the same thing."
I laughed. "Just before we make it official, could you give me one more kiss?"
Elsa rolled her eyes, and I laughed again, before she suddenly leaned in and pecked me on the lips. My eyes widened as she pulled away. "There. Now we don't do that again. Okay?"
I smiled. "Heh. Yep."
We both looked out the window, watching as the sun set.
"By the way, Elsa, I was joking about the kiss."
I shouldn't have mentioned that...
Bye bye, everyone! I'll see you all after therapy!
He he he.
I ENDED IT WITHOUT JELSA HAHAHAHAHAHA I FOOLED YOU ALL!!!
And I can explain my actions.
I actually ship Jackunzel, and not because they are both just attractive. I ship them because Rapunzel always just wanted freedom, which is what Jack is, and Jack always just wanted a believer, which is what Rapunzel is.
No, not a BELIEBER. I would kill if she was.
But, I also SUPPORT Jelsa. And I don't know why, I just do. But I ship Jackunzel more.
Huh. It's kind of like with my Fairy Tail obsession. I ship Nalu, but I also support Nali.
Don't ask about Fairy Tail if you don't know. You will never get out. Don't search it up. DON'T. STAY SANE WHILE YOU STILL CAN.
Aaaaaaaanyways, goodbye my ducklings! I really hope that you enjoyed! (even with that trick ending...hehehe I'm not sorry ^-^)
