The Battle

(Shadow)
I step out of the hole into a world of fire. Tall black shape flitting through the trees, there one moment and disappearing into shadow the next. My eyes widen in horror and I begin running faster than should be possible through the trees. "Rose!" I scream, running too fast for the dark figures to catch me. "Rose!" I burst into the meadow, now aflame, and run towards where she had chased me. The moon above my head grew brighter as I neared the spot, until it was blindingly bright, and then I entered a bubble of normalcy. A small ring of trees surrounded her body, flames avoiding her almost purposefully. I run to her limp form and pull into my arms. "Rose! Rose wake up!" She stirs slightly in my arms, and then a voice, deep and soft cut through the night. "You like the girl, don't you?" I twist around shielding her with my body. There's a man there, a man who looks exactly like me, though his eyes glow solid white. "Who are you?!" My voice is dangerous, threatening. He laughs, "Smitten I see, with the sorcerer's daughter. Well, child, I'll need that girl, I have my reasons. I'll take her and be off." He steps forward, and I tense.

(Rose)
I struggle to wake up, because I know who is coming and if he gets ahold of me, he will end all of Minecraftia. I can feel Shadow's arms around me and I can sense Herobrine approaching. I summon every last bit of strength and fling myself awake. Snapping awake quickly, I stand and face Herobrine. "BACK THE NETHER OFF!" I scream at him, more to distract rather than be effective. I know Shadow will only get hurt here, so I mouth "sorry" at him and use my magic to teleport him home. I turn and face Herobrine, purple matic flickering all over my body, ready to defeat Herobrine.

(Herobrine)
"Oh, this is new." I say dryly, "The sorceress and the devil, fighting for dominance, once again. Are you sure you won't just give up and come with me? It'd be so much easier on both of us." I summon my magic as well and white flames appear all across my skin. Then golden sparks lance out of the air, eating the flames and confusing me. "Who was your friend?" I ask, an idea forming in my mind. Then I throw white runes in the ground, forming a shield to block her next attack.

(Rose)
I snarl at Herobrine for his bold words. "So we are starting this like normal huh? A bit of banter before the fight?" Before Herobrine has a chance to react I pull up an invisible shield that protects against all brine magic, but not physical forces. I shoot a blast of magic at Herobrine and he stumbles. "Had enough yet Flashlight Eyes?" I taunt.

(Herobrine)
I look up at her and smile, golden light is lancing around her aura to, only it's adding to hers what it takes from mine. "Not even close, dearie," I say, "for starters, I have a question for you. What effects occur when there is a mixing of my blood with that of a sorcerer?" I light the runes, activating them and blocking all sorcerer magic from entering my circle. "It's all banter and punches from here, my witchling." I smile dangerously. The sparks are barely there anymore.

(Rose)
My mind races as Herobrine is speaking. What the nether was he talking about? My little witchling? Mixed blood? Has Herobrine finally snapped? As I'm thinking these thoughts on the side, I scan his protective spells and smirk. He forgot a physical spell. I look down at my spell and quickly add a physical spell. I look back at Herobrine and smirk. "Witchling? Mixed blood? You finally went crazy didn't you?" I throw a snowball at him,and it goes through his shield and explodes with magic, meant to blind him for a moment.

(Herobrine)
The snowball stings as it hits and I lash out with a wave of pure white flame. Heat would get through her shields even if nothing else did. "Notch forbid, no child. Just answer the question." I chuckle wiping my eyes. "What happens when a sorcerer or sorceress has a child that has my blood? The effect is quite different from what happens when a sorcerer becomes a brine." I smile becoming surer with every word. I lay down a protection from projectiles and continue speaking. "Well? What happens?"

(Rose)
I get angry, real quickly. He thinks he can tease me? He thinks I would ever have a child with a monster!? He has no idea who he is dealing with. I bare my teeth at him. "If you won't tell, I don't care." I see he put down a projectile protection spell. I need to think of what to do next. I start to think ahead, and then for some reason I get a surge of power. I use that to my advantage and throw a massive Notch ball at him. That would get through his shield.

(Herobrine)
My eyes widen as the massive ball erupts from her fingertips. So that's what the child could do, if I could just... I then remember the ball of power rushing my way. "Would you like to see something new?" I call to her. Then I place a rune I had only recently discovered. I placed a mirror rune and watched as the energy balls exact opposite burst from the mirror and hit it square on. The explosion was deafening, and it nearly broke my shields. As it was, my ears were ringing as the dust cleared. I walked to where the notch blessed girl stood stunned. She was hard as the Nether to kill. I could barely wipe away her defenses, even after that powerful of a blast. "Well, niece, I suppose I'll go see your friend now," I say to her, "after all, a father should get to know his son. Shouldn't he?" I smiled knowing she would just be getting it. "I've always wondered what kind of power my child might wield, apparently he has something neither you nor I expected." I then turn and laying down an actual spell of binding, leave her where she sat. It would take her a few minutes to break through that. I had to work fast. "Ender-men I command you, come to me." They appeared. "Find me my son." They disappeared, searching for the silver haired boy.
