Mock Fight Gone Wrong
(Rose)
I grabbed the wooden swords and clambered to the top and jumped out. I walked over to Shadow and tossed him a sword. "Ok follow me. We are heading to the meadow." I walk to the meadow and waited for Shadow, sword at the ready.
(Shadow)
I caught the sword and walked after her. When I got to the meadow, she stood waiting, I copied her stance.
(Rose)
"Ok so lets see what you got. Have at me!" I raise my sword and prepared to block Shadow.
(Shadow)
I run forward a swing at her sword, holding back enough that my swing wouldn't offset my balance, and tried to get around her defense.
(Rose)
I laugh and parried the blow. "You cant defeat me like that silly!" I pressed forward, easily getting around his sword and placing mine on his chest. I smirked. "Do you fold?"
(Shadow)
I looked down, and keeping my face looking shocked, I twisted my wrist sharply, knocking her blade to the side. Then I started swinging at her again, though more carefully this time, watching her movements to see what she did next.
(Rose)
I laughed and dodged easily. I saw he was watching to see what I would do so I had to do something unexpected. I laughed and I jumped behind him, and swung my sword up, knocking his sword in the air. I leapt over him and caught it midair. I point both swords at him. "Now do you fold?" I said with a smirk.
(Shadow)
I slowly moved my hands into the air, then I kicked one of wrists making her drop one of the blades, twisting out of the way as I did so incase she tried to stab me. The I snatched my sword off the ground turning to her as I did so. "Your turn." I said grinning.
(Rose)
I sheath my sword and quickly parkour to the top of a tree that was too advanced for a noob. "If you can't see me, you can't find me!" I called in a singsongy voice, bubbling with laughter. I quickly duck down and start sneaking around the tree, intending to flee if he found me.
(Shadow)
I took note of where she had jumped, to practice later, and grinned. "If the trees can hide you, they can also help me!" I scrambled up a smaller tree, and pulled out a plank of wood. Jumping from tree to tree, I sneak up behind her.
(Rose)
I explode in laughter, then tear the plank away from him and jump down from the tree, rolling upon impact. I quickly take off, running through the trees as fast as I can, laughter echoing off the trees.
(Shadow)
I chase her through the trees, laughing as she evades me time and again. I finally catch up to her and wrestle back my plank, popping it back into my inventory. "Are we going to play all day?" I ask with a chuckle, " Or are we going to practice some more?" I'm grinning, happier than I have been since before the... the thought dissipates but I let it. I don't want to be upset right now.
(Rose)
I giggle, my high levels of joy causing me to grin widely. "Well do we have anything better to do? We have a shelter, plenty of food, and lots of wood, stone, and coal. We can have one day of fun can't we?" Toward the end of me talking there is a slight pleading note in my voice. Oh Notch he probably thinks I'm needy now! I look at Shadow, awaiting his response. I had been forever since anyone liked being around me, I hope he did not crush me because I don't think I could take another rejection... I push that thought away and look at Shadow, putting a forced smile on my face.
(Shadow)
I hear the note in her voice and grin coyly, masking my relief. She feels the same way I do. "I suppose we can..." I walk over to her and put my hand on her shoulder. " But before we begin you should know..."
(Rose)
I let out a small sigh of relief, then look at Shadow. "Know what? That you are secretly a ninja?" I giggle. "Because I though we already knew that Swordmaster Senpai." I laugh and wait for Shadow's response.
(Shadow)
"Naw, I was gonna say... your it!" I jump away running and laughing as I go. I'm glad she isn't sad, and that she was impressed with me. In fact the emotion was strangely deep, almost as though...
(Rose)
I shake my head and take off running. "I'm going to get you and when I do, I'm gonna tickle you until you plead for mercy!" I threaten, laughing. "Just you wait!"
(Shadow)
I continue to run, saving my former thought for later as I run for my life. Laughter echos through the trees as she chases me, the sun just barely halfway to it's apex.
(Rose)
I can see him just up ahead and put on a burst of speed, catching him and beginning the tickling. "I warned you!!" I say in between fits of laugher. "No one ever escapes the tickle queen!" I kept tickling him until he pleaded for mercy. "Say it! Plead for freedom!" I manage to get out between gales of laughter.
(Shadow)
I writhe in her grip, the unbearable sensation mixing with my already giddy mind to create an almost tangible feeling of joy. "Stop!" I said, barely managing to get it out between my spasming muscles, "Please! I yield! I cave!" I try to push her away and am suddenly blinded by an unbearably white light, tinged with faint gold. When I can see again, I'm in our hide-out and Rose is no where in sight. "Rose?" I call out, searching. I begin climbing out of the small cave to look for her.
(Rose)
The blinding white light was so sudden, so abrupt. I instantly knew what it was, and tried to throw a shield up, but it was to late. When the wall of magic hit me, I pass out from the overload of magical energy.
