READER'S POV

I woke up the next day, feeling a little tired from playing the Final Fantasy game all night. I looked at the time and I realised it was 8:20 am. 

"Oh no!! I'm gonna be late!!" I shouted as I threw the covers off my bed and I quickly got changed into my school uniform.

Once I got changed, I tied my hair into a ponytail and I fixed my tie and my skirt before grabbing my stuff for school. I ran out of my room and I grabbed a bit of toast from the dining table and then dad said to me.

"(Y/n)?"

"Can't stop, I gotta go!"

I dashed out of the house and I ran to school. I managed to get there in time and then I sat down at my desk. I rested my folded arms on my desk and then Sarah came over to me and she said to me.

"Morning, sleepyhead, I can't believe you managed to make in time, I thought for sure you would have slept in."

"No...I managed to wake myself up in time but, playing video games until midnight wasn't such a good idea after all..."

Sarah giggled at me before the bell rang and then class started. 

TIME SKIP...

Loki and I wandered through the streets for a while and then we got to the arcade. We played a zombie shooting game and then Loki said to me.

"Ah! I'm gonna get killed!"

"Not me Amigo!"

I said as I continued to kill the zombies and then Loki's character died. Loki shouted in frustration and I continued to get a high score. Eventually, I ended up getting killed and I sighed in defeat.

"Nevermind, at least I got a high score."

"Don't rub it in, (Y/n)."

"Aw, you're just jealous because I managed to get a high score and you didn't."

Loki shook his head and then we went to a cafe to get something to eat. I took a sip of my cola and then Loki asked me.

"If you don't mind me asking, how did your parents react when they saw your report card?"

"Not too good, they mind me getting a few Bs and Cs but an F in Maths was a different story, honestly, I don't see why they have to make such a big deal over the grades that I managed to get, besides, maths isn't my strong point, I'm more of a creative person than a brainy person, unlike you, Mr-I-got-straight-As."

Loki chuckled and he said to me.

"I got lucky, anyway, don't worry about your parents, besides, who cares what they think?"

I smiled at Loki and I thought to myself.

'Loki has been the only person who understands my situation and he doesn't care about who my parents or if I'm rich or not.'

After a while, Loki walked me home and then he said to me.

"Well, I'm glad we had fun today."

"Yeah, today has been the best, thanks for putting a smile on my face Loki, I really needed someone to cheer me up after last night."

Loki smiled at me and then he gently stroked my cheek.

"If you ever need someone to cheer you up, you know where to find me."

"Loki..."

I mumbled before he slowly leans closer to my face. We were inches away from touching each other's lips until..."

"(Y/n)!"

Loki and I backed away from each other and it was my dad.

"Oh great, it's my dad."

"Uh oh..." Loki mumbled.

Dad stormed over to me and then he pulled me away from Loki. 

"You stay away from my daughter!"

"Dad! it's all right! Loki and I are just-"

"I saw what was going on! now get in the house!"

"No way!"

"Do as you're told, now!!"

Dad yelled and then he dragged me into the house. Loki shouted.

"I'll see you tomorrow!"

Dad closed and shut the door and then mum came over to me.

"What's going on?"

"I just caught a boy nearly kissing our daughter."

Mum looked at me shocked and I said to her.

"Look, I know what you're all thinking but, Loki isn't that bad."

"Ugh! see, this is why we should have sent her to an all-girls school, you never know when something like this happens!"

Mum shouted and then Dad nodded his head in agreement.

"You're right, this is gone far enough, first the attitude, then your grades are slipping and now this! I'm sorry, (Y/n), but, you're going to boarding school in England."

"What?! no! that stupid boarding school threat again!"

"We don't recognise you anymore! this is gotta stop right now!"

"Big deal! it's my life! I can do whatever I want!"

"You're 17 years old and as long as you're under our roof you'll do as you're told!"

I frowned at him and I said to Mum.

"Mum! please don't let him do this!"

"I'm sorry, honey, but, your father is right this time. Next week, you'll be going to England to study abroad until you get your act together."

"You can't change who I am!"

"We can and we will!"

"I hate you! I hate both of you! I wished Grandfather was here instead of you!"

I yelled angrily before dashing to my room and locking the door. I rested my back against the door and I slid down onto the floor. I curled up into a ball and then my phone started buzzing. I looked at my text messages and they were all from Loki and the others. I sighed a little and I didn't feel like messaging them back so, I went to do the one thing that cheers me up and ease my pain.

I got changed into my casual clothes which were, a sleeveless (F/c) denim jacket, (F/c) top, my silver locket, (F/c) jeans and my (f/c) canvas shoes. I played the final fantasy game for a while and I tried so hard not to cry when I thought about boarding school. I stopped playing for a moment and I took off my headphones before opening the silver locket that's around my neck. It contained a picture of me and Grandfather before he passed away. 

"Oh, grandfather...I wish you were here."

Just then, my screen started glitching and then my game won't play again. I was confused by this and I took off my headphones before kneeling down trying to fix my console. I patted the console and the television for a moment while hoping to get a reaction out of it but, nothing happened.

"Are you kidding me? do I seriously have a glitch? oh man, and this was my favourite game too."

Suddenly, the screen started glowing and I was shocked by this and then I felt like I was being dragged into the screen. I tried to back away but, whatever was pulling me it wasn't letting me go and then the world around me turned white. I covered my eyes and then I felt like I was floating in the air. I opened my eyes and I noticed the world around me was like that scene when Noctus met Bahamut after getting dragged into that crystal.

'What the hell? what's going on? where am I?'

I asked myself as I looked around and then a voice appeared out of nowhere.

"You're arriving into another world young one."

I looked around and I couldn't see anyone or anything except the world around me.

"Where are you?! who are you?!" I called out to the mysterious voice.

"You will know in time, (Y/n)...for now, be with him and help him on his quest..help Prince Noctis."

"Wait, what? what do you mean?!"

I called out to the voice but, no answer. Suddenly, the world around me turned black and I passed out. 

3RD PERSON POV

In the deserted parts of Hammerhead, four men were fighting against the Imperial soldiers and they managed to kill them off. Once the fight was over, a beam of light appeared from the sky and then it disappeared seconds later. The blonde-haired one looked surprised and he asked his friends.

"What was that? an emergency flare?"

"No, that was some kind of light magic just now, let's go and investigate," The brown-haired one spoke before he and the others left to check out the mysterious light.

READER'S POV

I groaned slightly as I started to regain consciousness. I slowly opened my eyes and I found myself in some kind of Western Desert that you see in the movies. I shielded my eyes from the sun as I slowly sat up from the ground. I looked around and all I could see was nothing but a bright blue sky, a few dead bushes here and there and some mountains in the distance.

"Where the hell am I?" I asked myself as I looked around with a confused look.

I tried to think about how I got here until I remembered what happened when I was in my room.

'That's right, I was in my room playing Final Fantasy XV until the game started glitching and then...ugh, everything else felt like a dream...who was talking to me and where was I when I got dragged into the TV?'

I figured this was all a bad dream and when I wake up, I'll be back in my room and I'll be hearing my parents lecture about boarding school. I decided to wander about a little so I can take in my surroundings in my 'dream', however, after a while, I started to feel the heat and I was sweating a little. I wiped the sweat off my head and I realised now this might not be a dream after all.

'Okay...I take it back, this is not a dream if it was, I wouldn't be feeling the heat like this...'

I thought to myself as I stopped for a moment to take a break. I've felt like I was wandering for a few hours until I realised that I was being followed. I slowly turned around and it was giant scorpions. My eyes widen in shock and then they started to chase me. I made a run for it but, these monsters had me cornered against a large boulder. I pressed my back against the wall until one of the giant scorpions stung me in the shoulder. I screamed in pain and I collapsed onto my knees while clutching my left shoulder. 

They slowly came closer to me and I then shut my eyes tightly waiting for the end until someone grabbed me and then I felt like I was being teleported. I opened my eyes and my (E/c) met sky blue ones. A man was holding me close and he had raven black hair and he wore black clothes and one glove on his left hand. He turned his attention to the giant scorpions and then three more men showed up.

"Noctis! don't run off like that!"

"Sorry, but, this woman was in trouble."

I looked at the four men and I realised who they were now, they were Prince Noctis, Prompto, Gladiolus and Ignis from Final Fantasy XV. Did I really get sent into the world of Final Fantasy XV?
