Steve's view
"Pietro, Wanda hurry up you're going to be late for school!" I shouted up the stairs as I turned the pancakes. A few weeks ago Bucky and I had adopted the twins as we wanted to save them from a life in an orphanage until they were eighteen. I had to smile slightly as Pietro came racing in with Wanda piggybacking and plopped down on one of the armchairs.
"Morning babe." Bucky scurried past me and pressed a good morning kiss before sitting down with the twins, eagerly waiting for the pancakes. I grabbed the last one on the plate.
"Clint can give you a ride to school today," I noted as I poured gravy over my breakfast. Bucky and I had agreed that the twins needed to finish school no matter what, even if they were officially joining the Avengers afterwards.
Bucky too seemed to notice the twinkle in Pietro's eyes "Don't even think about it" he threatened him jokingly "We'll get it out if you skip."
Pietro just rolled his eyes and mumbled something in Russian.
"That's not very nice." grinned Bucky.
I had to laugh because sometimes the twins still forget that Bucky spoke Russian, which was sometimes funny. Downstairs I heard a car pull up. "Come on Clint's already here," I shooed the two of them. We had developed a schedule so that someone could always drive them, as we were all still on top paranoid, what happened with Hydra a few weeks ago still breathing down our necks. My phone flashed, a message from Jarvis that Tony had tracked down another Hydra base. Since Brian had been sitting in isolation for a few weeks, he was blabbing anything he could think of just to get any books or something else to do. "Buck we have to go." I turned my phone so he could see it too.
"But my pancakes!" He whined, stuffing them into himself even faster now.
Grinning, I shook my head "I'll make you some new ones, now come on."
As I put on my uniform my eyes fell on Bucky and unconsciously I smiled, my life was just perfect. I had a husband I loved more than anything, two children I would do anything for. My friends were doing well, Tony had been a proud father for a few weeks. Loki was planning to propose to Nat. Sam was enjoying his single life to the fullest. Thor ruled Asgard after Loki and he had fought a small war with Odin.
"What is it?" Bucky's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
I shook my head and pressed a kiss to his lips "Nothing I'm just happy."

Wanda's view
Peter was already sitting in the scales when I crawled into the back seat. Pietro of course had immediately secured the seat next to his boyfriend with super speed. We drove off, I didn't have the pressing need to go to this school. But Bucky and Steve really wanted it, it was only for one more year anyway. Lost in thought, I let a little red ball of light float back and forth between my fingers.
"Boa this is cool." Peter's voice snapped me back to reality.
I had to smile slightly, out of the whole school, he was the only one who thought so. To the girls I was a freak and don't even get me started on the boys. When I was still very new, they had all hit on me, but at the latest when they saw the scar on my face, which I had Whitehall to thank for, they had all run away. But it didn't bother me. Because Peter and his girlfriend MJ and his best friend Ned had taken us in from day one. The car stopped and I saw the school in front of me, I had to force myself a bit to get out of the car because as ridiculous as it sounded I was still scared that a Hydra soldier might pop out from around the next corner.
"Ok here we are, try to leave the school standing." Clint grinned.
"We'll try." my brother breathed a quick kiss on his boyfriend's cheek and then got out. Rather reluctantly, I followed him.
"Hey come on it can't be that bad, it's only Monday," Peter tried to cheer me up, which he didn't do very well.
Sighing, I got out of the car and marched with Pietro and Peter towards the school.
