"Look boss the kid hasn't been up for quite some time now, and what is so special about her she's stupid" one man said from the living-room, and so I used the time that I had to claw through my bonds...ropes "like all she does is eat sleep and want to use the bathroom, and--" he never got the sentence out because I sneaked up behind him with a machete that I found in the room that I was in and cut his head off with one clean swipe.

"Stupid huh" I said annoyed "I don't think that you are going to be making a mistake like that ever again" then I picked up the head and tossed it into the fire in the fireplace then got a can of axe from the bathroom closet and a lighter from the kitchen and torched the house. Once I was outside I looked inside to make sure the body was burning and when I saw that it was still there and burning I walked away and started to travel along the road. I kept the Machete because it was the only protection that I had against and in the wild, and a sword and heightened senses are very lethal. Then when I was about a mile down the road a car came my way and stopped just in-front of me.

"Hey do you need a ride somewhere?" she asked

"Sure" I said "could you take me to the nearest store around here"

"Yeah, get in" she said and so I got in "hey my name is Ashley what's yours?"

"My name is Emerald" I said

"What! That's so cool" she said "like the gem Emerald or something else"

"I don't know" I said "I guess like the gem Emerald"

"Huh, actually lets go to my place to eat. I'm sure that I can cook up something for two" she said

"Um, okay" I said

"What's the Machete for" she asked looking at the large weapon fearfully

"It's for protection from wild animals and maybe other people if it comes to that" I said "but I don't want to hurt anyone and if I do it would be in self defense" then rest of the ride was filled with silence and the smell of fear coming from this person.

"What are you afraid of" I asked "me?"

"No! No I just don't like driving at night" she said "I can't see that well in the dark" lies why are you lying to me I thought to myself "I'm not lying to you" and at that I locked all of the brakes in the car and the locks in the seat belt and the car doors.

"Okay now I am dead serious, what are you and why are you so afraid of me" I said "and don't even think of lying because I can force my way into your head and read your mind...well kindove"

"Okay I don't know what happened to you but I can hear other people's thoughts and I can smell things that other people can't. I am afraid of you because you literally smell like a predator, and you look dangerous and the machete doesn't help that picture" she said

"Huh, okay then" I said "we both have similar traits, hearing peoples thoughts and smelling plus hearing things that regular people can't. I just escaped a vampires house after cutting off his head so yeah I look dangerous because I am dangerous in more ways than one like just now I put this car on a sort of lock-down. I never knew how to do that but ever since I was bitten by a wolf and encountered these weird people. Ever since my powers have just kept on growing and growing. So I don't know what I can do now or in the future, so be careful around me okay" and when I finished the car came to life and everything was restored to normal. But instead of the car going forward it didn't go anywhere.

"What you also have powers that are different and weird, and what do you mean 'ever since the wolf bit me'?" Ashley asked "and what did he look like"

"Well there was this black wolf that talked to me one time and gave me two choices. Would you like to be a wolf or something else, and me thinking that the something else or no answer at all was death I chose the wolf" I said "and now ever since that my senses have gotten three times better than they were, and I had senses that were two time the average humans senses of smell, sight , and sound... And I have developed and been developing new powers every day or hour depends on my mood---wait how did you know that this wolf was a he?"

"I am a part of the Academy, and speaking of were you questioned by a woman that had a fake ID?" Ashley asked

"Yes, but I don't know if she made if when our car crashed" I said sadly "and that reminds me where is your home again?"

"It is in the Academy I have one of the biggest dorms and when my sister gets there she would also had one, but the sad part is I don't know where or who she is" she said "and you never answered what the wolf that bit you looked like"

"I am so sorry about your sister I hope that she is still alive, and trying to find you too I have also have a lost sister, but I don't remember her" I said trying to remember "but anyways the wolf that bit me was a very dark brown color, he had dark obsidian eyes, and he was killed"

"Where was he killed?" Ashley said a little scared and demanding

"He was killed... at your Academy" I said slowly and softly

"But that's Impossible because he died yesterday" she said "after entering our camp again"

"And I was bitten by that wolf two days ago" I said

"If you were bitten a day before Obsidian suicidally turned himself in then have you turned yet" she asked

"What do you mean 'turned yet'?" I asked her

"I mean do you know what your wolf form looks like yet?" Ashley asked

"No I don't" I said curiously, then she turned the car on and we went to her academy house. The car ride was at least one to two hours long and it went without any trouble which I found really amazing.

"You know we've been driving for almost an hour and this is the most peaceful ride that I've ever had" I said amazed that we haven't run into any type of trouble yet.

"Why is that?"

"Well I'm just saying because I usually get into some type of trouble when I go, or am traveling" I said

"What do you mean" Ashley said while driving "were here" and my attention was on the road ahead of me. The Academy was the most beautiful thing that I had ever seen. It had gates that were made of titanium and they had the most intricate designs on them. They were ultimately amazing, but they didn't open.

"Stay here" Ashley said

"No I'm getting out with you whether you like it or not" I said

"Ug" she said "fine"

"So what happened?" I asked

"I don't know they usually have the gate open when some that they know comes to the gates" shes said.

Say what do we have here a strange voice said in my head

"Where and who are you?" I asked, and as I said it a dark-gray wolf steps out from the dark forest to my left side.

Why don't you come with me or I can kill her then take you with me he said

"How about no" I said

Well then that just sucks because I gave you an easy way out and you just skipped it by the wolf said. Then I saw him running it was like it was in slow motion, and he started to go around me I could see his sleek shape as he went around me. Then he sharply turned and leaped at Ashley, but I was faster and I walked in-front of her and punched him in the face. Then time went back to normal and he went face first into a tree, and with a whimper he started to back away.

This isn't the last you've seen me Emerald, I know who and what you are he said into my head and then ran off into the forest

"Wha-how did you do that so fast I couldn't even see him or you when you moved?" Ashley said

"I don't know time just seemed to slow down when really I was just going faster than any human could" I said, and just after I finished saying it the gates opened.
"What in the world were you doing, we just had a close encounter with a werewolf, and you weren't even there to hear anything!" she said to the guys standing at the gate opening. He looked so ashamed, and he kept on staring at his feet. Then his head shot up and he looked at me like I was some dangerous person that would or could hurt every and anyone in the Academy.
"Yeah I'm someone that you've never seen before but that doesn't mean that you have to think that I'm going to hurt anyone here" I said "I mean unless you have vampires that crash cars and take people, and he never made it out of the little cabin that he had me in. Stupid vampires"

"What!? How did you know what I was thinking my mind is guarded at all times" he said "I am considered to be the hardest mind to read"

"It actually wasn't that hard" I said "all I had to do was just go around and sometimes through your walls, and then I just look around. I mean I didn't this time, but you thoughts are loud and its really hard not to try and get to them or more of them"

" Huh fine, but don't go sneaking around there anymore" he said
"I don't need to I've seen enough to get to know you Harvard" I said, and then he just stepped back and let us through. So we got in the car and drove through the gate, and after a short time we arrived at a hotel sized building. It was white with glass windows that are thick and tinted in blue, and it had a structure like a white house, and the whole outside of it was studded in diamonds like it was a giant shiny white house.

"Wow nice house, so this is both of ours, but how?" I asked

" Well I am the daughter of some powerful werewolf and so are you so we live here" Ashley corrected me "hey how about I show you around then we could eat, oh and how do you feel about going to a restaurant I know of for the full solar eclipse tomorrow. So we went in and she showed me to my room and then we ate, and then the rest of the night went by fast by playing a couple of games. Then we went to bed and in the morning I found myself on the floor drooling like a dog.

"Why aren't you sleeping on your bed" Ashley asked me

"I don't really want to, and plus the floor is better anyway" I said

"Well okay then but its time to go I've made reservations and the Eclipse starts at noon" she said "so come on get ready"

" Oh I'm sorry I just over slept I guess" I said sleepily, and I got up took a shower and then we were in the car driving to the place. To my surprise it was still in the academy but it was on the side close to a lake that you could watch the sunset with ease and it was also by a large forest that represented the end of the Academies hidden boundaries. The thing is we can get and see inside and outside of the invisible wall while inside but others that are corrupt and evil can only see an open field but when they try to get in they are either forced back or transported to the other side of the field. A some few have figured out what was happening and they tried to force their way in and that causes the Academy to have to kill them for everyone's safety.

"Well don't worry about the people or things that you see Em" Ashley said as we started to park in the restaurants parking area "some of them might change into what they were born to be and hey maybe you will too"

"Maybe, but the only thing that I hope doesn't happen is me accidentally attacking you" I said looking at her warily.

"I know that you wouldn't do that because otherwise you wouldn't be allowed into the Academy's boundaries" Ashley said

"Oh" I said "then I hope that I don't fall asleep here"

Oh you won't princess, but you will feel a-lot of pain a dark voice said pain that I will happily watch from out here

"Who said that" I said alarmed and looking around

"Who said what" Ashley said "oh Emerald I hope that you get over with this talking to yourself at the strangest of times. You do it at night too when we sleep, and then you either are screaming at a phantom pain just before you fall silent for the rest of the night, and I swear that every time that you do that I freak out because I think that you are dead"

"I mean I do have nightmares, but I didn't realize that I was waking up you too" I said "I'm so sorry. So after I got bit you said that Obsidian came back here and got himself killed rather peacefully, but then I figured out that there was a barrier surrounding the Academy"

Ashley sighed "the only reason why he could get back inside is because he used to be a good teacher at the academy, but then one day he came back in a rage. He killed many, but any person that has entered the academy before can enter as many times as they want to without having to break through or something like that"

"How many have turned Evil" I asked

"I don't know" Ashley said

She's lying there were ten including me, and I don't know why father chose you, but it must've been for a good reason that dark voice said menacingly, but I didn't say anything about my sister lying or him being one of the ten that can enter and kill freely. So I just tried to enjoy as much as I could, and for the next two hours we sat and ate while talking to each-other. Then the sky became really dark and the pain that was all throughout my body. I hissed in pain, and started to get up.

"I need to go to the restroom, please order some dessert for me" I said as I started to go to the bathroom, and as soon as I was within the doors my body felt like it was over heating. Then I looked in the bathroom mirror, and I was shocked. Usually when I look in the mirror I think of myself as a lowlife girl that looks like she is a poor soul that can't be saved, but now I looked like a princess or even a queen. I don't often look in the mirror, and that I think is why I was so surprised other than the fact that I was literally changing. First I noticed that my eyes had a star-like shape that looks like it was torn out of a globe directions map, or the points pointing in North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, and Northwest with the diagonal ones smaller than the other four. My eyes were the color of Amber with Obsidian lines around the pupil and they looked like they were glitter, or shining at the moment. Then I noticed that my hair slowly turned black like and Inky Black that seemed to suck all the light from around it. That's when I heard someone coming towards the bathroom, and I sped to the tight stall in the middle of the large one and the one by the sink with a speed that wasn't human.

"Sis are you okay in there" Ashley said to me
" Yeah I'm fine" I said with a little strain in my voice because of all of the pain that was coursing through my body.

"Are you sure because you sound spent" she asked not giving up
"Yes!" I yelled a little harshly

"Okay sheesh I didn't mean to intrude" Ashley said before stepping out of the bathroom obviously hurt at my tone towards her. Then I began to grow my body thickening with hard plated of a steel harder than anything known or made by man. They started to cover my skin like plates with each one pointing backwards, and for the next couple of minutes I spent screaming in pain and fading in and out of consciousness , but thankfully no one heard me because of all of the howling. I don't know what would've happened if someone had heard me and decided to step in to the room only to find the place a mess. Once the process was finished all of the stalls looked like they had been pushed apart by a massive force, me, and the tile and brick ceiling were a mess with cracked tiles and shattered pieces of brick littering the floor. 

Then my vision, head an pain all cleared out and I could focus again, and let me tell you that if there had been someone or even something powerful in the bathroom they would probably be dead by the first few seconds of standing there in horror. I stood up and padded over to the only surviving thing in the bathroom, the mirror. I almost fell over in shock but I did still manage to crush part of the wall behind me with my tail from surprise. I was looking into the face of a dragon, and I had the same eyes that I had just after I had gotten into the bathroom, but I was a very agile, skinny, and deadly dragon. I had wings that clinked and scraped every time that I moved them, and my body was covered in black, silver, red, and white scales making me look like something very pretty and yet very deadly. 

I had claws the size of bus tires and sharper than anything, and I knew right away that they would never blunt or be cut. The last two major things were that I stood and walked on four heavily armored legs and my tail was able to change like any object that I thought about, my tail become like I thought about a crossbow and the end of my tail fashioned itself into a crossbow that had no string and I accidentally fired a couple of them into the concrete wall behind me going almost all of the way through, and then I wondered if they could come back to me and just as I though it all of them shot backwards directly at me then they seemed to just become a part of me as soon as they touched my skin. I yelped out of surprise and fear thinking that I would be killed before i even got a chance to test out my new body.

Then because I was done messing around, and I heard someone coming again I turned around to the wall behind me and ran into the wall destroying it completely. Then I saw that there was a forest behind me so I ran with a speed that even a werewolf couldn't match, and then I saw my injured and unconscious sister and I stopped wondering what I should do. Then I noticed that everyone was staring at me, even the wolves. So I spoke to them but it wasn't talking it was speaking with my mind.

Look I won't hurt you guys but I am going to the forest and I don't want anyone following me I said oh also I am taking my sister with me so that we can talk

You do know that the forest is directly outside of the boundaries right and you and her will be in constant danger on of the wolves said from the crowd stepping up a little and if what I understand is true then you will be hunted by Obsidian's and now your Evil group

Yeah I know that they want me for some type of ritual to get me to join them as their leader or something, but if you hadn't noticed I'M A FREAKING DRAGON so how are they supposed to beat me in this form? I said

Yes in that form nothing can harm you, but when you are a human you are easily taken over unless you know how to defend yourself he said then asked do you?

Yes I do I said, and then I went over to Ashley, picked her up after moving a couple of things with my paw then I grabbed Ashley with that same paw and took off into the air. I was rather surprised because I was in the air after only one giant push of my wings, and I could see the whole academy. So I then decided where I wanted to land in the forest so that I could talk to Ashley with out being hunted. I also noticed that my metal scales were blending and moving around like water, and it was the coolest thing that I had ever seen, but the only crappy thing was that as soon as I lifted into the air almost every metal object that everyone had had liquefied. Then as soon as they strangely liquefied, they all came up to me and soaked into my shell, and then I noticed that as I was flying a dark grey wolf was following me from below. So I shot forwards and to the left, loosing him then I saw an area that was open and rather secure, so I decided to land and I then went to sleep as a dragon with Ashley under my wing.

I was awaken because of a screaming and struggling from under my wing, and naturally I lifted it and a human crawled out from under it. It took me a second to realize what happened and where I was. Then I remembered the eclipse moon at the restaurant, my very painful change from human to female dragon, I remembered breaking through one of the walls injuring my sister, my talk with the good wolf, the little conversation with the evil wolf, me taking my sister and leaving, and then the long journey to find a safe place flying over the forest while trying to lost that evil werewolf.
