Optimus kept on Megatron's trail, and didn't slow down, putting the metal to the pedal. (YN), sitting in the cab was prepping the Assault Blaster. Soon enough, the two drove down a grassy forest, passing by tall trees. But they lost sight of Megatron, and they didn't know where he could've gone.

(YN): "Where'd he go." He looked left and right of the field, with no sign of Megatron. "He couldn't have just va-" Suddenly, a loud sound of crunching wood came from behind and he looked back to see Megatron's tank mode burst through the trees. "Optimus! He behind us!" He exclaimed.

Megatron fired his cannon, causing Optimus to swerve out of control. Optimus quickly transformed, and managed to have (YN) held securely in his hand. Megatron transformed behind them, and tackled Optimus to the ground.

As he tumbled down a nearby hill, Optimus accidentally lets go of (YN), causing him to tumble out of the way of the fighting. (YN) was back on his feet in a second and bolted.

Optimus: "Hide, (YN)!" He called out.

Optimus gave a right hook to Megatron's head, then spun around, but as Optimus jumped up to slam his elbow down to his head, Megatron tackled Optimus again, slamming the two down into the hillside.

(YN) ran behind a tree for cover, readying his blaster. He watched the battle in anticipation, panting.

Optimus: "Weak!" He grunted, lifting a dead tree, and slammed it down on Megatron, only for it to split in half.

Dirt sprayed at (YN) when the lower half of the tree hit the one (YN) was hiding as Megatron tumbled backwards, until he got up.

Optimus: "Puny!" Megatron tried to slash him, only for him parry and delivered a sharp left hook to Megatron's back, making him let out a snarl of pain. "Waste of metal!" He ducked under Megatron's backhand and quickly delivered a lariat into Megatron's head, hurling him to ground.

(YN) ran closer to the battle as Optimus transformed his right hand into a Energon Sword. Megatron managed to stand up by rolling to his feet, and he was about to lunged at Optimus, but got shot the face by a blue energy blast. Megatron turned to see it was (YN) who fired the shot. (YN) fired couple more energy bolts at Megatron, distracting him when Optimus pierced his left shoulder with his sword.

Optimus: "Junkyard..." He pulled out his sword. "CRAP!" He snarled, elbowing upward into Megatron's face. Then he hook Megatron's left arm and hurled him over.

Megatron: "Decepticons!" He hollered in despair. "Capture the boy!"

As split second later, Grindor flew in, then transformed into robot mode in mid-air, landing on the ground and smacking a few trees, and ran to join the fight, deploying his rotor blade on his right hand. Grindor had a very striking similarity to Blackout from Mission City, only larger about 50ft and had a more military-accurate grey colour scheme.

Grindor: "There's no use running, insect!" He growled.

Next, Starscream flew in from behind while firing, and transformed, crashing into three trees, and landed onto his feet, yanking a tree from the roots out of his way.

Starscream: "Come here, boy." He sneered softly, menacingly, deploying his machine gun.

(YN) immediately broke off into a sprint and starts firing at Starscream. Starscream grunted, covering his face from the shots. Then Grindor charge in and slammed his rotor blade to ground, (YN) dived forward just in time and fired a couple shots to Grindor's legs, and ran, just as Starscream tried to swipe him, who have recovered. Megatron blasted Optimus away and began to run after (YN), trying to catch him. But Optimus catches Megatron, lifting him up, and tackled him to the ground.

Grindor charged at Optimus, but Optimus reacted quickly by deploying his sword again and plowed it into Grindor's shoulder, adding in a additional left cross to the face, making Grindor stumble back. Optimus then runs up to Grindor, jumping up sideways, and kicked Grindor away, sending him flying into a batch of trees.

(YN) readied his blaster as the other Decepticons also charged at Optimus. Megatron tried to hit Optimus with a hook kick, but Optimus catch the kick, then slammed his right elbow into the joint of Megatron's knee, causing him to go down on one knee, and Optimus thrust his left knee into Megatron's face, sending him to the ground.

Starscream flew in to catch Optimus off-guard with some bullets, but Optimus grabbed him by the throat and strike with a left hook and a right elbow to the back of Starscream's head, then held him in a inverted DDT.

Megatron tried to strike at Optimus from behind, only for (YN) to fire two strong energy bolts at him, and Optimus let out a back kick, resulting in Megatron on the ground once again, and Starscream flails about while shooting wildly. (YN) hid behind an upturned tree to not get hit by the bullets. Optimus used his strength to lift up Starscream, upside down, and kicked him in the mouth, sending him flying.

Starscream grunted out in pain as he rolled around on the ground, knocking down some trees.

Grindor slowly managed to stand up again, and stomped his way towards (YN), who jumped out of his hiding place and fired a volley of energy bolts at him, blasting away a chunk of his armor, and at his left leg, making him groan and fall on one knee. Grindor growled and brought out his machine gun on his left forearm and and returned fire, making (YN) run for cover behind some rocks. Grindor stopped shooting and retracted his machine gun.

Grindor: "Just let us take you and this battle will be over!" He wagered.

(YN): "Like hell I would!" He rejected. "Optimus will stop all of you!"

Grindor: "You put too much faith in him. His time will come, The Fallen will see to that." He stated.

(YN): "The Fallen, who's that?" He inquired.

Grindor: "Don't worry about it." He deployed his rotor blade on his right hand. "You won't live long enough to find out anyway." He charged straight at (YN) and kick the rocks, shattering them as they flew from the force. (YN) got out there in time and fired a single bolt at his eyes, and he growled out from the hit.

Meanwhile, Bumblebee, the Twins, Sideswipe, Cliffjumper, Ratchet, Ironhide and Elita were all racing their way towards the battle, Mikaela and the others were still onboard Bumblebee.

Ironhide: "Hurry, Autobots!" He yelled to the Autobots as they raced down the mountain road. "We've gotta get to Optimus and (YN) for help!"

Sideswipe: "We're armed and ready." He spoke out.

Cliffjumper: "Locked and loaded." He added in.

Breakaway: "We're about 5 miles away from the battlefield." He informed them, flying overhead. "I've picked up three Decepticon signals, one of them being Megatron."

Elita One: "Noted, flyboy." She acknowledged back, and accelerated. "I just hope we can make it there in time."

Megatron: "There is another source of Energon hidden on this planet." He snarled at Optimus, attempting to persuade him as they exchanged blows until he caught Optimus' right fist. "The boy can lead us to it."

Optimus: "You know as well as I, Megatron, you would use it to conquer this planet yet again!" He retaliated. "I will never let you doom this planet as you did Cybertron!"

Megatron: "Then DIE!" He yelled in response, and kneed Optimus in the midsection until he lifted Optimus above his head and slammed him down with such force.

(YN) quickly jumped over a torn up tree and hid there. His blaster had overheated and he waited for it to cooldown. (YN) poke his head out and can only watched the fight ensue between the three Decepticons and one Autobot leader.

Optimus did an upward slash with his sword on Megatron, Starscream retaliating by jumping and land a right punch to Optimus's face. Then Grindor grabbed Optimus by the head, only to elbowed in the face but didn't faze him, and used his rotor blade to cut Optimus' ribs, which Optimus escaped by breaking free from Grindor's grip.

Starscream joined in and attacked Optimus with two slashes of his buzzsaw, then went for a third slash but Optimus parried it with his sword and was about to slash Starscream back. But his attack was interrupted when Megatron shoulder-tackled him from behind, and lifted Optimus by his left shoulder and threw down to the ground with a crunch. At the moment that Optimus got to his feet, Megatron swung his right leg, and kicked Optimus in the face, smashing open his battle mask, and caused Optimus to stumble back to his knees.

(YN): "OPTIMUS!!!" He screamed out.

Starscream fired a missile at Optimus, then fired his machine gun. Megatron elbowed Optimus in the face. Optimus stumbled backward, just as Megatron charged his fusion cannon and held it up, then shot Optimus, sending him through the air, and nearly crashing down on top of (YN), who managed to jump clear from Optimus. Optimus, badly injured, but still alive, spit out a chunk of metal, and struggled to get up.

Megatron: "Is the future of our race" He unsheathed his blade. "not worth a single human life?" He countered, staring down at (YN) while he clasped his other claw and was about to shoot Optimus like before.

(YN), with his blaster now finally cooled down, intervened by firing a energy blast that hit Megatron in the face, stopping his attack and hold his face pain.

Optimus looked horrible. His red/blue paint having scorched marks across it, as well as dents and bullet holes. The windshield of the vehicle mode cracked and broken, as well as some bits and pieces breaking off of him.

Optimus: "You'll never stop at one..." He pushed himself up onto a foot as he knelt down for a moment. His eyes gleamed with determination and defiance as he quickly deployed another Energon sword on his left hand. "I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON!!!" He roared, spinning around, and charged at the three Decepticons.

(YN) watched closely. If Optimus wasn't done fighting, neither was he. Optimus dug both swords into Starscream's shoulder, who fired a missile that missed, and threw him towards Megatron, also cutting off Grindor's blades on his back as well as his right arm, that with the rotor blade activated, and it sailed off with a shining sound, hitting Megatron which caused him to miss the blast of his cannon, until it crashed into the trees.

Optimus centered his movements around (YN), preventing them from grabbing him. (YN) fired at any Decepticons that tried to attack Optimus from behind. Optimus attack with two slashes of his swords on Starscream and Grindor, both of them stepping back. Optimus vaulted over Starscream, who accidentally shot Grindor with his missile. Optimus tossed his right sword at Grindor, which struck his right kneecap.

Grindor: "MY LEG!" He yelled in pain, growling.

Optimus head butted Starscream, then intercepted a kick from Megatron by jamming his left sword into Megatron's left leg, yanking the sword out, then plunging it into his chest. Megatron was sent the ground crawling around, until Optimus pushed his sword into Megatron's left shoulder, then landing a strong right punch to the face, and ending the combo with knocking Megatron away with the force of both arms.

The other two rushed forward, (YN) shooting them from behind causing them to stumble. As Grindor walked over, Starscream went in with a punch, but Optimus countered by bashing left and right, then chopping on to it, severing his right arm from his socket.

Starscream: "MY ARM!!!" He screamed out, and Optimus proceed to smack him repeatedly back and forth with his own arm before throwing the arm away.

Grindor pulled the sword out from his kneecap when Optimus whipped out his Energon hooks and lunged at him, jabbing one of his hooks into Grindor's left eye, using the leverage to pull himself onto Grindor.

Grindor: "No, Prime!" He pleaded once Optimus was on top of him. "Please! No!"

Optimus: "You begging for mercy, Grindor? That's not the Decepticon way." He taunted, then struck another hook into Grindor's faceplate. "Time to put you out of your misery for good."

Grindor: "NOOOOO-!" He screamed out as Optimus ripped his face in half with a mighty tug, killing him.

Optimus: "Piece of tin." He muttered contemptuously, jumping off of Grindor and used his right hook to pull his corpse down to the ground with a loud thud as he limped away. He leaned up against a large tree. "(YN), where are you?" He called out, taking deep breaths.

(YN): "I'm right here!" He called back, stepping out from behind a log. Optimus sees him and nodded. But then, he noticed something approaching Optimus from behind from the shadows. "OPTIMUS, BEHIND YOU!!!" He yelled at the top of his voice.

But it was too late when a clawed hand curled around Optimus' left shoulder. Suddenly, a blade shoved itself into Optimus' chest and his spark chamber, making him yell out, his systems screaming in pain. Optimus' hands gripped the blade helplessly, with him yelling out in pain, as Megatron lifted him off the ground and into the air.

Megatron: "You're so weak." He growled maliciously, then with the sound of his cannon clicking, he shot Optimus right though the chest, causing a large explosion of flame and sparks flying out of Optimus' chest.

(YN)'s body froze in shock, fear, and sadness. Megatron ripped out his sword from Optimus' chest, and Optimus was on his feet for a moment before he fell over to his left side with a loud crunch of steel.

On the warship, The Fallen slowly opened his eyes and let out a long growly sigh. It would it seemed that Megatron has succeeded.

He slowly rise up from his throne, ripping down his wires as he stand to his full height with a maniacal grin.

The Fallen: "The last Prime is dead." He grinned maliciously.

(YN) stared at Optimus, his blue eyes threatening to expel his tears, looking at his injured state. Optimus laid on his back, his body now shutting down, as the Optimus looked at (YN).

Optimus: "(YN)... run..." He groaned out to (YN). "Run..." Those were his last dying words, as the light from his eyes faded into darkness, while his body went limp, and his head rolled left.

(YN) couldn't believe what he had just seeing. He wished that this was all just a very bad nightmare, but he knew this wasn't a dream. It was real - Megatron had just defeated Optimus, and had killed him before his eyes. He continued to stare on at Optimus' corpse with teared-filled eyes, his body refusing to respond, and couldn't even anything else around him. He couldn't even hear Starscream walking towards him, and was about to grab him.

Just as Starscream's hand was an inch close to grabbing (YN), he was shot in the chestplate and Starscream turned to see the Autobots have arrived.

Ironhide: "Autobots, attack!" He ordered, as he, Ratchet, Breakaway, Sideswipe, and Cliffjumper raced in opening fire on Starscream and Megatron, drawing their attention and from away (YN).

Bumblebee raced up as well in his vehicle mode and Jake rushed out of Bumblebee while he transformed into his robot mode and asset them. Jake kept running to where the Decepticons are and spotted (YN) staring at the Optimus' lifeless body.

Jake: "(YN)!" He ran up to (YN), and he grabbed him by the shoulders. "(YN), come on! We gotta get out of here!" He tried to take (YN) back to the Autobots, but (YN) tried to fight back, tears falling from his eyes.

(YN): "I can't leave him!" He screamed, trying to run back.

Jake: "(YN), there's nothing you can do!" He yelled, dragging (YN) away.

(YN): "Let me go!" He tried to push Jake off, but he pulled him back.

Jake: "(YN), I'm sorry, but we have to go!" He yelled at (YN). "If we stay here, we're dead. Now, come on!" And with all his might, he pulled (YN) away from Optimus' body and back to the Autobots, just as Bumblebee spotted him and (YN), and transformed back into his vehicle mode while Elita One, and the Twins raced up in theirs.

Ratchet: "Bumblebee, Elita, get them out of here!" He ordered, as Jake got himself and (YN) in Bumblebee, and Bumblebee, Elita, the Twins, and Cliffjumper, who transformed into his vehicle mode, raced away.

Once they got away, the Autobots fall back as Starscream and Megatron flew away from view, then the Autobots headed off to find Optimus.

(YN), sitting in Bumblebee's passenger seat, looked back to the forest, tears falling from his eyes, knowing he had just lost a dear friend and father figure to him. He looked at his chest to an Autobot logo hanging on a chain, and he saw it's shattered. It was a gift from Optimus two years ago.

(YN) wiped away his tears, and looked away, as Bumblebee, Elita, the Twins, and Cliffjumper drove off and away as far as they can, trying not to be caught by Megatron.

Meanwhile, high above the skies, the C-17's had arrived in the United States. Lennox received a call from the Autobots.

Lennox: "This is Lennox." He answered. His eyes suddenly widened, and then his expression slowly becoming saddened when he learned that Optimus is dead.
