(YN)'s group and the Autobots now park on the side of the road underneath the freeway bridge as they waited for Sentinel Prime. They have already warned the NEST Headquarters about the Decepticons plan and put them on high alert. Soon they saw a familiar fire truck coming down the road.

Simmons: "There's Sentinel." He alerted the group.

(YN): "Mearing, I just picked up Sentinel. Optimus is about 10 minutes behind. We're coming over to HQ now." He reported in as he and Bumblebee get underway and they all speed off after Sentinel.

Mearing(on Cellphone): "Commander Witwicky, I thought I'd made it clear to you that you were on leave of absence." She stated.

(YN): "Yeah, well, consider this my termination of my leave." He countered. "Now listen to me. It's about the moon program."

Mearing(on Cellphone): "What about it?" She demanded.

(YN): "The whole thing has been a setup since the very beginning!" He explained quickly. "The Decepticons wanted Optimus to find Sentinel because they knew he was the only one that could bring him back to life."

Mearing(on Cellphone): "But we have the Spacebridge." She interjected.

(YN): "Mearing, you've only have five pillars. I just found out they have stolen hundreds of them! The ones that were missing when they raided the Ark 40 years ago. They had them all along." He continued, reminding Mearing what Sentinel had said when he was revived. "Don't you get it? We have just played into their hands! What do you need me to say to you? The Decepticons are coming for Sentinel Prime!" He revealed as the Autobots drove onto the freeway.

Mearing(on Cellphone): "We're going to NEST." She ordered to someone on the other end before the line went dead.

<|>We have Energon alert. Energon readings are detected on the DC Parkway!<|>

At the NEST Headquarters, the Energon detectors have alerted the base, and the soldiers are scrambling into action.

Lennox was not in a good mood at the present time. And there was only one reason why: many Energon Detectors have been triggered in the city, near the city, around it, and outside of the city. It was clear from (YN)'s phone call that the Decepticons were now making their move on capturing Sentinel Prime and probably the remaining control pillars. After all, they were currently in possession of the control pillar too.

Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and Mirage surround Sentinel while Elita One and the Twins were in the front as they drive down the highway towards NEST and to keep Sentinel safe from any hostile threats. But as they do so, the sound of sirens gets (YN)'s attention as he looks back to see three black Chevy Suburbans with sirens flashing driving up behind them.

One of the Suburbans drives up to Simmons' car, and it transforms into a very vicious-looking Decepticon codenamed Crowbar, who has metallic 'dreadlocks' and mandibles around his mouth like that of the Predator, plus having eight red optics.

Sideswipe: "Oh, shit! Dreads!" He exclaimed.

Before anyone can do anything, Crowbar made a reach for Simmons. Simmons only had a maximum of five to seven seconds to grasp what was happening before Crowbar grabbed him and threw him out of the car and into the air, and landed on the road hard.

Jake: "Simmons!" He shouted.

Crowbar leaped over the car, knocking down a large overhead sign onto the road. Dutch saw what just happened and slammed on the brakes. The car comes to a halt, but the other Suburbans drove up to the sign and used it like ramps and transform into robot modes, one being Crankcase, who has huff spike shoulders, long teeth from his lower jaw, a ring through his nose, and short 'dreadlocks', while the other Suburban became Hatchet, a four-leg ravenous hunter. They all heading for Sentinel.

Elita One: "Bumblebee, Mirage, Sideswipe, hold off the Decepticons." She ordered. "Do whatever it takes to stop them! Skids, Mudflap, you're with me! We have to stay with Sentinel!" She ordered next, and she and the Twins sped off with Sentinel.

The Dreads gave chase, knocking aside pedestrian vehicles and causing lots of injuries and human deaths in the process.

Dutch: "Oh mein Gott, I'm fired!" He exclaimed as Jake and Vanessa quickly got out of the car and ran over to help Simmons, who lay on his back on the road, badly hurt but alive.

Jake: "Is he...?" He asked, terrified.

Vanessa: "He's breathing, but barely." She stated, and quickly bring out her radio. "This is Sergeant Vanessa Laurier, we need medical assistance on the DC Parkway. Agent Seymour Simmons is in critical condition."

(YN)(on Radio): "Jake! Vanessa! Are you alright?" He inquired and Jake brings out his radio.

Jake: "We're alright, but Simmons is hurt!" He radioed back. "Don't worry about us, just get Sentinel back to base!"

The Dreads keep moving faster towards the vehicles across the highway, destroying any cars that were in their way, knocking them down and sending them flying across the highway like they were nothing but toy cars, even jumping over them.

(YN): "GO BEE! GO! GO!" He yelled, now transforming his right bracer into rifle mode.

The Dreads were coming closer as Hatchet ran the closest and tried to pounce on Bumblebee, but the Bumblebee slams on the brakes, allows the three Dreads to fly past. The Dreads slammed into the road but they kept going.

Bumblebee and Sideswipe simultaneously activate their Stealth Force mode and they open fire at Hatchet, who is the nearest one. Hatchet slammed into its shoulder and roared in pain as parts fell off, but didn't stop running. Mirage transformed into his robot mode and leapt up into the air, and ejected his cables from his arms as he whipped them at Hatchet.

Mirage: "Got you!" He yelled as the cables wrapped around Hatchet's arms. "AHAHAHAAAA!" He laughed excitedly as Hatchet dragged him along the freeway.

(YN) leans out of Bumblebee's window and he shoots at Hatchet while Mirage jumps and slides on the divider. Bumblebee now unleashed several missiles that hit Hatchet and sends him sprawling onto the other side of the road as Mirage swung him around with his strength and slammed him into a car.

Hatchet makes impact and is decapitated by the impact while Mirage retract his cables before transforming back to vehicle mode and continuing the protective convoy. The other two Dreads now began to flip about and send cars right at the Autobots to slow them down.

With Elita and the Twins, they see four more Chevy Suburbans heading their way. They transformed into their robot modes, hopped over, morphed their feet into a single wheel-like roller skates and skated after them. They are not like the Dreads, they are protoforms.

Skids: "Ah, crap! There are more of those creep-ass punks!" He exclaimed. "Hey, Mudflap! Ready for some backwards driving?"

Mudflap: "Oh yeah! Let's do it!" He replied excitedly.

The Twins activated their Stealth Force modes, hit the brakes, spun around, and drove backwards as they opened fired on the Decepticons. The Decepticons fired back as the Twins dodged the bolts, some of them hit the vehicle's as they were caught in the crossfire.

Elita swerved around cars to reach the two closest Decepticons. She transformed into her robot mode, flipping in the air to balance herself and skidded as she neared them. Elita began to sprint, matching their speed as she leapt up and punched the first Decepticon in the head and kicked the second.

She twisted herself in midair and transformed her arms into Energon cannons. As the Decepticons tumbled, Elita aligned her cannons and shot as many times as she could before landing on her feet again. Skidding, Elita looked to see the bodies. Elita smirked and transformed her cannons back into her arms and transformed back into her vehicle mode.

Skids fired two missiles at the third Decepticons feet, causing it to fall to the road, allowing Skids to rain ordinance on it with rockets, killing it. Mudflap brake-checked in front of the fourth Decepticon that didn't see it coming, and struck its right foot, causing the Decepticon to trip over and rolled over the road. Mudflap spun around and fired four rockets at it and they exploded on impact, also killing it.

Meanwhile, Crankcase and Crowbar overturn vehicles as obstacles for the pursuing Autobots. (YN) continued to fire at the Dreads as Bumblebee chased after them, even as Bumblebee and Sideswipe perform some crazy manoeuvres and tricks to avoid the crashing vehicles. They deactivated their Stealth Force modes and kept chasing them.

(YN): "We gonna move faster, Bee!" He encouraged Bumblebee. "Faster, Bee! GO!"

Just as they thought they were clear, Crankcase overturns a large freight truck carrying a delivery of propane cylinders, sending it flying over at the Autobots.

(YN): "OH SHIT!" He shouted as he ducked back into the car.

Sideswipe and Mirage quickly moved to the right, quickly avoiding the truck, while Bumblebee drove straight towards the truck and swiftly transforms in midair as (YN) fly into the air. Bumblebee pushed several debris and parts of the truck away from (YN). He then quickly grabbed (YN) into his hand before transforming into vehicle mode, (YN) fortunately landing in the driver's seat again.

(YN): "WHOO! Nice, Bee!" He whooped. "Okay, let's get back to NEST!" He said to Bumblebee.

Mearing: "Colonel Lennox, I need a sit rep, now." She demanded over her cellphone phone as her car drove towards NEST Headquarters. She had just received word that Decepticons had already been spotted and were still pursuing Sentinel through D.C.

Lennox(on Cellphone): "We're still waiting for any news on Sentinel and Optimus still hasn't returned yet." He answered. Mearing nodded though a little aggravated.

Mearing: "What about (YN)?" She asked.

Lennox(on Cellphone): "(YN) is still with Bumblebee but his teammates called mentioning that Simmons was injured on the highway, we're sending paramedics to him now." He replied.

Mearing: "Colonel, can please you repeat that, did you say Simmons as in agent Seymour Simmons of Sector Seven?" She questioned, her eyes widen at the name she hasn't heard in a long time.

Lennox(on Cellphone): "Yes, Director. Is that a problem?" He confirmed, but his response held some confusion.

Mearing: "No, Colonel, I'm just confirming." She hanged up and let out a sigh. "Son of a bitch."

At NEST Headquarters, Ironhide speeds out of the entrance gate in vehicle mode, followed by Sunstreaker, then Cliffjumper, then Inferno, and then the rest of the Autobots sped out of the gate and went into different directions of the city.

Ironhide: "Autobots, search the city for any signs of the Decepticons, and make sure they don't reach Sentinel." He radioed to the Autobots. "There's no telling how many of them are out there."

Autobots[on Comms]: "Got it!" They all acknowledged.

Sideswipe and Mirage had arrived in the city as the two remaining Dreads are hot on their tail, their sirens louder than ever. As they began to draw nearer to the base, Sideswipe transforms into robot mode, riding on his wheels as he turns to face the Dreads.

Sideswipe: "Mirage! I got him!" He called over his shoulder and fires a round at them, but it does nothing to slow them down.

Sideswipe skated backwards as he kept his eyes on the two, ignoring the gasps from the humans as Bumblebee and Mirage drive away as (YN) now spots a familiar black GMC Topkick driving by, heading straight for the Dreads.

(YN): "IRONHIDE!" He shouted.

Ironhide kicked in his nitro boosters, accelerating at full speed and rams right into the Dreads in an explosive collision, forcing all three of them transform into robot mode while in the air.

Crowbar roared as he spills some red-colored Energon from his mouth to signify he's been damaged by the collision. Ironhide lands on his feet while Crankcass hit the ground with a thud and Crowbar crashes into a bus stop simultaneously.

They got up and draw their weapons. Ironhide decides to use his new Heavy Iron rifles to save his arm cannons for later. Sideswipe slides and draws his weapons along with Ironhide. The formation is a triangle. As this happens, Prowl and Cliffjumper race by to get the civilians out of the area and fast.

Ironhide: "Is there a problem?" He asked, his demeanor taunting. Sideswipe sweeps in between them and aims his weapons, and the formation is now a diamond formation.

Sideswipe: "Whoa. Little Mexican standoff we got here." He commented.

Ironhide: "Weapons down." He demanded.

Sideswipe: "And we'll let you escape with your dignity." He added in.

The two Dreads look to each other and spoke out in Cybertronian, their evil red optics looking between each other and the two Autobots.

Ironhide: "Drop them!" He ordered, getting ready to pull the triggers. And so, all four sides drop their weapons down on the ground.

Sideswipe: "That's good." He commented.

But no sooner they had done that, the Dreads had deployed two barbed spear-like weapons from their backs and spikes popped out of them, giving silent nods to one another.

Sideswipe: "Ironhide, watch out!" He alerted.

Crowbar then threw one spear that lodged itself in Ironhide's left shoulder joint, making him yell in pain. Then Crankcase throws its own spear at Sideswipe, only for him to flip in the air and cut through it with his sword.

Sideswipe: "Ironhide! Catch!" He yelled, kicking over one of his blasters to Ironhide.

Ironhide caught the weapon and shoots Crowbar over to his left when it tried to jump to him. And the head to explode in a fire ball, killing it.

Sideswipe: "Behind you!" He called out, using his swords to slice away Crankcase. Ironhide fired twice at Crankcase while ripping the spear out of his shoulder, and shoves the spear into Crankcase's face, red fluid leaking out of his facial plate.

Ironhide: "Decepticon punk." He snarled, flipping Crankcase onto a nearby car. He slammed his left foot into the hood of the car and sent it into a nearby auto supply store. Then the spear exploded in a fireball, taking Crankcase with it. He then puts his rifles back onto his backplate. "Class dismissed." He smirked.

Soon enough, (YN), Elita, Bumblebee, the Twins, Mirage, Sideswipe, Ironhide, and Sentinel alongside all drive up back to NEST HQ as the gate closes shuts behind them. Most of the Autobots were still out and about, tracking for any sign of Decepticons, all the while with reporting Optimus 5 minutes out from base.

Lennox: "Get inside! Let's go." He ordered as he waved at Sentinel.

Bishop: "Move! Everyone keep moving!" She exclaimed as (YN) jumped out of Bumblebee, running up to Lennox

(YN): "Lennox!" He called, and he and Lennox shook hands.

Lennox: "Glad you made it out okay." He exhaled just as Bishop gave (YN) a quick hug.

(YN): "We got Decepticons coming out of nowhere!" He exclaimed to them breathlessly. "They're all around us."

Lennox: "Don't worry. I've got the whole team looking for them." He reassured (YN). "Ironhide!" He called out, just Ironhide and the Twins began transforming. "You and the Twins protect Sentinel, get him locked up inside."

Ironhide: "Consider it done!" He replied with a nodded. Sentinel began transforming as well.

Mudflap: "We'll make sure those Decepti-bitches won't get anywhere near SP!" He added.

(YN): "Good." He nodded. "We need to keep him safe, because Sentinel is the key to this whole thing."

Sentinel: "Indeed, I am." He replied as he stood to his full height, everyone now looking to him as he turned to them. "What you must realise, my Autobot brothers, is that we were never going to win the war. For the sake of our planet's survival," He turned in the opposite direction. "a deal had to be made... with Megatron." He pulled out his cannon, spun back around, and then... the unthinkable happened.

Sentinel shot Ironhide in the back and through the chest with his cannon, obliterating parts of his armor from the impact at close range. He went down onto his knees, a fist holding him up until a second blast came as more parts of his armor were obliterated, and then Ironhide was down onto the ground, groans of pain coming from his throat.

Lennox: "Get back!" He shouted, his face filled with shock.

Ironhide; "What have you done!?" He wheezed out, horrified by Sentinel's betrayal as he withered on the asphalt. Sentinel now stands over him, switching his cannon's special ability and setting it to its highest level.

Sentinel: "I hereby discharge you from duty." He declared, aiming his cannon at Ironhide as it charges up.

(YN): "NOOOOO!!" He yelled out as he deploys his rifle and blasted Sentinel away before he could shoot Ironhide.

Sentinel fired a single round from his cannon at the ground in front of (YN). The blast caused (YN) and the NEST Troopers to knocked off their feet and hurled in the pavement. Elita tackled Sentinel, forcing him to back off and lose focus on firing. Bumblebee quickly morphed his hand for his plasma cannon and fired at Sentinel, being sure to avoid Elita. Sideswipe and Mirage get behind cover and protect the NEST Troopers from Sentinel.

(YN): "Bee!" He cried out as Bishop pulled him away from the fight.

Lennox: "Get back!" He ordered everyone as they quickly got to their feet.

Sentinel grabbed Elita and threw her away, hurling her into nearby crates before he started firing at Bumblebee. Ironhide, in his weakened state, managed to push himself up and fired his right cannon at Sentinel, but nothing seemed to be enough to stop as Sentinel swung his cannon at Ironhide, hurling him back and crashing to the wall, and fired a payload at him.

Elita quickly got back up and struck Sentinel in the jaw and then grabbed both of his wrists, pointing Sentinel's cannon upwards. As she did, Elita took a quick glance at Ironhide. The area where Ironhide was hit looked like it was being eaten or something. That's when she recognized it as Cosmic Rust, a dangerous substance that's fatal to metal beings, like him. If Ironhide had taken in anymore of that, then he would be dead right now, a slow painful death. Sentinel then kneed Elita in the abdomen and kick her away, and aimed his cannon at her.

Then out of nowhere, Skids jumped onto Sentinel's back, while Mudflap grabbed one of his legs. Both began banging on his armor repeatedly, trying to deal any type of damage they could.

Skids: "Get Ironhide out of here, Elita!" He shouted to Elita. "RUN!" Elita hesitated, but nodded.

Elita One: "Mirage! Sideswipe! Grab Ironhide!" She yelled, and Mirage and Sideswipe complied as they dragged Ironhide to safety.

Mudflap: "Ain't no way you're getting away with that for what you did!" He exclaimed in furry, continuing banging Sentinel's armor.

Bishop: "Everyone fire on Sentinel!" She ordered as he started shooting. Every other soldier followed suite, though they had to be careful to avoid the Twins, who were still on Sentinel.

Sentinel merely grunted, unfazed by their threats or attack as he tried to shrug them off. Skids had managed to reach Sentinel's face and begun to pry at his optics when Sentinel grabbed him by the leg and tossed him against a trailer. Then with a strong shake of his leg, he managed to get Mudflap off him and kicked him away, causing Mudflap to crash into Skids trapping them underneath the trailer. Sentinel aimed his cannon at the Twins and fired payloads of cosmic rust at them. The Twins cried out in agony as the rust spread throughout their bodies until they were nothing more than piles of rusted scrap.

Elita One: "NOOOO!" She screamed, and Sentinel fired at her and the three Autobots, causing all of them to drop to the ground and Sentinel took that chance to move.

Sentinel didn't waste any time in destroying the exterior of the Headquarters with his cannon. He repeatedly fired his cannon, aiming at everything and everyone. Seeing they were out matched, Elita gritted her teeth and turned to three Autobots.

Elita One: "Retreat!" She ordered the male Autobots, trusting that Lennox got his chance to get away from the fight.

Mirage leaped over the fence and transformed into his vehicle mode. Sideswipe fired a few times before he did the same thing. Bumblebee looked over at where (YN) is whirred worriedly before he followed after them. As for Elita, she stayed with Ironhide and contacted Ratchet about his condition. Lennox, (YN), Bishop, and many other soldiers try to hide on the other side of the main gate as Sentinel fired his cannon, injuring many more.

Lennox: "Reynolds! Rally all the NEST and Autobot forces back to the base!" He ordered Reynolds. "Come on!" He quickly pulled (YN) into the base.

Sentinel fired more rounds from his cosmic rust cannon at the soldiers before jumping over the fence and transforming into his firetruck form and retreating onward.

(YN), Lennox, and Bishop rushed into the base with other NEST Troopers, some were dragging the badly injured ones as they got into an area that hadn't been attacked yet.

NEST Trooper: "Get a medic down here!" He called out.

Lennox: "Alright, we don't have enough men! Do not engage Sentinel!" He ordered.

Outside of the base, Mearing had arrived and walked to the hanger when an explosion erupted from inside. Mearing led the agents inside the base to help the troopers, thinking it was a Decepticon attack. However, it wasn't.

Inside of the base, Sentinel blasted and destroyed his way through the facility, slicing through various helicopters with his two-bladed sword and sending dozens of soldiers flying and going for cover as the Sentinel showed no mercy to the humans.

Mearing now pushed the door open to the balcony as she stormed out, and saw Sentinel walking through the hanger.

Mearing: "Hey, Sentinel!" She called out as Sentinel retraced his blade. He simply tilted his head at her before he walked forward, ignoring her. "What is going on?! What do you think you're doing?!" She demanded harshly.

A NEST Trooper fired a rocket at Sentinel, but he deflects it with his shield. The missile ricocheted from the shield and towards the platform beside him, causing all the humans to duck down.

Sentinel: "I am a Prime! I do not take orders from you." He proclaimed boldly before he turned away from Mearing. Mearing took a few steps after him before Lennox to reach her, grabbing hold of her arms and pulling her away.

Lennox: "Director Mearing, come on! We can't fight him, let's go!" He urged to Mearing. "We have to go!" He dragged Mearing away as (YN) stood by the side and watched with a horror filled expression on his face at the carnage Sentinel did.

Sentinel: "Now!" He threw a destroyed Black Hawk across the bass. "Return what belongs to me!" He demanded, pulling out his blade once more before he sliced Osprey in half, sending one half to the soldiers and continued his rampage.

Lennox and Bishop pull Mearing away as (YN) staggered a bit as he watched the scene unfold around him, watching with horror as Sentinel destroyed the base. Sentinel smashed into the vault and grabbed the five pillars. Once done so, he transformed into firetruck mode and he drives away with all five pillars in their cases on his roof.

Optimus now entered the base and transformed into robot mode, now seeing the chaos his former teacher had caused. The base was in disarray, with dozens of Ospreys and Black Hawks wrecked. Both humans and Autobots were trying to help their own. Ratchet was standing beside Ironhide, spraying his wounds frantically with a spray can containing Corrostop to prevent the Cosmic Rust from going anywhere further into his frame. Fortunately it was not as bad as it seemed. Optimus shook his head solemnly, now seeing the destruction around him.

Elita One: "Sentinel has deceived us, Optimus." She informed, Optimus looking at her. "He's conspired with Megatron. They're both to blame."

Mearing: "Yeah, take a look Optimus!" She sneered at Optimus. "This is all on you!"

(YN): "Shut up, Mearing! He didn't know! None of us did know Sentinel would do this!" He snapped back.

Reynolds: "Sentinel hit the vault! Took the pillars." He informed Lennox breathlessly. Lennox kicked the railing in anger.

Lennox: "Come on, let's go." He ordered the troops around him as he began to run. "Alright, notify the 101st Airborne! We need to hunt this thing down." He announced.

(YN) looked back over at Optimus, who just stares at the ground in sorrow. The two look each other in the eyes, then they nodded, both of them knowing what needs to be done.
