Thunderous roars from the engines rumbled throughout the deserted streets as a line of Autobots sped down the block, their tires screeching against the crumbling asphalt. Trails of dust were left in their wake as they rounded the upcoming corner. The Wreckers were in the front while Optimus was in the rear. Epps and his men were riding in some of the Autobots, while Mikaela, Jake, and Vanessa were riding in Bumblebee. Wheelie was sitting in Leadfoot's seat while Brains was sitting on his cannon.

Brains: "Autobot victory! Autobot victory!" He yelled out.

(YN) was meanwhile riding alongside Optimus as they came around a bend. Suddenly, the ground shook like an earthquake as explosions rang out, surprising everyone. Drilling sounds and metal grating against metal was heard as sliver metallic tentacles came from the ground, attacking Optimus. The force of the attack caused Optimus' trailer to roll off, unclipping from his vehicle mode as it toppled to its side.

Vanessa: "What the hell is that?!" She shouted, looking back as the tentacles burrowed its way into the road, disappearing in a fury of dirt and sparks.

Sunstreaker: "Driller!" He alerted.

Prowl: "And it's on our asses." He added.

Ironhide: "Floor it, Autobots!" He urged them, and the Autobots put their petal to the metal.

Elita One: "Optimus, your trailer-" She began.

Optimus: "There's no time!" He interjected quickly. "Go!"

Elita heeded his word a the Driller had returned to the surface and began to transform. Optimus lurched forward, the needle climbing rapidly up the speedometer. In the wing mirror, (YN) saw Shockwave emerge from the Driller launching more missiles in their direction. Shockwave charged his cannon as he walked down the Driller and cocked it, before he gaze at the escaping Autobots.

Shockwave: "You can run, Autobots, but you can't hide." He declared, growling darkly.

The Autobots and humans all now take cover in an empty ruined church, forcing them to hide from Shockwave. There's already a number of conveniently sized Autobot holes in the wall.

Epps: "That is one scary-ass Decepticon!" He panted in fright as he runs inside, just as Bumblebee and Wheeljack drove into the building. (YN) jumped out as Optimus transformed into robot mode.

Optimus: "They got my trailer. I need that flight-tech." He muttered to himself, holding the blaster in his hand. He looked outside for any Decepticons, cocking his blaster. "Shockwave can't hunt all of us at once." He looked over at the Wreckers on the other side of the building. "Wreckers, we need a diversion."

Roadbuster: "Let's get some!" He cheered as he started walking out of the church.

Leadfoot: "You got that right." He chuckled in agreement, following after Roadbuster.

Topspin: "It's showtime." He smirked, readying his claws.

Warpath: "I'm want in on this action." He armed his rotary plasma cannon.

Epps: "Listen, we're gonna circle around to the glass building." He stated, walking to the window, pointing at the glass building nearby. "We'll get high enough to make the rocket shot." He looked at the Autobots. "While you guys draw his fire. Let's move!" He ordered as the humans make their way towards the church exit.

Wheeljack: "Wait a minute!" He called out to the humans, stopping them. "I'm not letting you go out there without my urban combat prototypes." He pulled out four metallic rods and two metal fingerless glove-like gauntlets from subspace.

Sideswipe: "We gotta go, Wheeljack!" He huffed. "Come on!" Wheeljack waved him off as his other hand dropped the objects at the humans feet with a clang.

Wheeljack: "They're great inventions for kicking ass!" He explained as the Autobots exit the building.

Hooch: "What are these?" He asked as he picked up a stick and (YN) picked up two of them and Jake picked up a glove-like thing.

Wheeljack: "Those are broomsticks." He answered, grinning. "Armed in 30 seconds, and each one has enough explosive power to take off a Decepticon's foot or arm."

Jake: "And this one?" He questioned, looking at the glove.

Wheeljack: "Grapple-Gloves, for climbing. Fires a small harpooned claw-dart with a length of high-tension wire attached to it." He explained. "And (YN), here's something special for ya." He then reached into his bag and pulled out a belt with an octagon buckle to (YN). "Been working on this for a while, think it'll help you best!" He tossed the belt to (YN), who caught it. "Put it on and press the buckle." He instructed. "You're gonna need the all the power to get out there."

(YN) listened to Wheeljack and does so, and pressed the buckle. Suddenly, the buckle began to expand as pieces of armor began to form all around him, covering him from head to toe. Once the process is complete, (YN) is now in a Exo-Suit, with a body of an Autobot Protoform, with a light and dark gray colors, and the helmet has a similar shape like Optimus.

Jake: "Whoa.." He wowed in awe and amazement, just the helmet retracted into the collar.

Wheeljack: "So, how do you feel?" He asked.

(YN): "Living like Iron Man." He answered with a grin on his face.

Vanessa: "Hey, how come we never got one?" She questioned Wheeljack, pouting.

Wheeljack: "Sorry, Vanessa." He apologized. "I only have enough parts to make one."

(YN): "Okay, people. Let's get to work." He addressed determinedly. "We got a world to save." His helmet was then deployed from the collar and covered his head, optics glowing blue.

Optimus, Elita, Ratchet, and Ironhide exit the building and fire at oncoming Decepticon forces, providing cover for the humans to make their move.

Optimus: "Move! Move!" He urged as the Wreckers and Warpath drove in the opposite direction to distract Shockwave. "GO! GO! GO!"

Leadfoot leads the Wreckers and Warpath down the street and they turned a sharp right on a block, skidding to a halt in front of Shockwave, who was just a few blocks away from them. Warpath quickly transformed into his robot mode and swiftly deployed his cannon.

Warpath: "Pour it onto him, boys!" He shouted, aiming his cannon and opened fire on Shockwave, followed by the Wreckers.

Though their bullets wouldn't do any serious damage, they were clearly irritating Shockwave as he lifted a car to use as a shield.

Wheelie and Brains are getting hit by the spent rounds and the noise of the gunshots. Shockwave had decided to return fire, raising his cannon and let out a shot. It missed the Autobots but it signaled that Shockwave was coming onto the offensive. The Wreckers and Warpath had done well and pull back, but they left Wheelie and Brains in the open.

Brains: "Hey! Where you going?!" He shouted. "Where you going?!"

Wheelie: "No, no, no, no! Stop! Stop! Stop!" He pleaded, falling down onto his knees. "Don't leave!"

Brains: "Never leave a bot behind!" He grunted, then gulped as Shockwave stomped forward and starts hopping away. "Agh, Shockwave's coming!"

(YN), Mikaela, Jake, Vanessa, Wolfang, plus Epps and his men all ran at full speed towards the glass building and once they reached the entrance, they ran inside and began looking for the way up the building, while other folks were hiding for cover from the attacking Decepticons, unaware of the Autobots being here.

(YN): "Epps, this way!" He called, taking the lead, and found the stairway. With the group behind him, they ran up the stairs, going as fast as they could.

Out of Chicago, a flight of Ospreys and a V-22 Tandem are moving in, being escorted by the Arielbots, Evac, Springer, and Stratosphere.

Inside the lead Osprey, Lennox, Bishop, Reynolds and the rest of the NEST Troopers were all wearing their wingsuits.

Lennox: "We're going to use Willis Tower for cover!" He instructed the troopers. "Once we make altitude, we jump!"

Just then, several Decepticon Assault Carriers were approaching the Ospreys as they opened fire upon them. The Arielbots saw them and they fired back the Decepticons.

Silverbolt: "Autobots, engage those fighters and protect the humans!" He commanded. "Make sure they don't shoot them down!" And they all engaged the Assault Carriers.

Stratosphere: "It's ass whooping time!" He declared, and activated his Stealth Force mode, and heavy artillery were formed around his vehicle mode.

The two turrets on Stratosphere's back fired as they rotate, shooting down the Decepticons, while Evac and Springer were in robot mode slicing up the Decepticon ships and shooting them down. Some of the Decepticons managed to shoot down a few Ospreys as they go down, either by in the water or crashing into each other.

Evac: "Get going, Silverbolt!" He urged. "We'll keep them busy!"

Silverbolt: "Air Raid! Breakaway! With me!" He ordered, and they followed him with the Ospreys.

Zimmerman: "Come on, come on, come on!" He muttered, praying to God for his Osprey to make it to the city.

Soon, they managed to reach Willie's Tower. The Arielbots were in their Stealth Force modes and were on guard in case a Decepticon Gunship is close as the Ospreys went higher to make altitude for the NEST Troopers to jump out, once they reach the top.

Lennox: "Here we go! Here we go! Keep it tight!" He shouted, and the troopers prepare their gears and their wingsuits.

Zimmerman: "Alright, focus, focus, focus." He chanted to himself.

The Aerialbots fan out to take down Decepticon Gunships that are nearby to make sure they don't shoot down the Ospreys. Silverbolt flies at one at full speed, unloading his missiles as they hit the boosters, causing the gunship to go down in flames.

Silverbolt: "Scratch one Decepticon." He commented himself before he took off to down another.

Just then, Starscream arrives on top of the building and sees the Ospreys and the Arielbots. He deployed his right buzzsaw as swirls around higher for a sneak attack.

Starscream: "LOCUSTS!" He growled out, diving down and attacked the Tandem first.

The Tandem spins out of control as Starscream taking out the two right side rotors, slicing them as they caught fire. Then Starscream leaps off the Tandem and onto a nearby Osprey as he sliced up the roof before jamming his buzzsaw into the right rotor, and leaped off it as well.

Breakaway took down another gunship when he saw Starscream attacking the Osprey and fired a missile at Starscream, hitting him in the back. Starscream then fired back with his machine gun, just as Breakaway blasted off and Starscream transformed into his aircraft mode and chased after him. They are now in a dogfight.

Breakaway: "Lennox, get your men out!" He radioed Lennox. "I can't hold Starscream off!"

Lennox: "Everyone, out! Out! Out!" He shouted, and the NEST troopers begin jumping out of the Ospreys while there's a fight in the sky.

One Decepticon Gunship goes down as the NEST team sky dive in. Then they spread their arms and legs, and begin flying in.

Silverbolt: "Air Raid, with me! We have to cover them!" He commanded Air Raid, and the two follow the formation as they head to the rally point.

Lennox: "Hard left! Hard left!" He shouted as the gliders turns left hard. "Six hundred feet."

They turn left and fly pass a building until a few Decepticon Gunships spotted them and begin chasing them. Reynolds sees them shooting at them.

Reynolds: "Contact! Behind us!" He alerted the troopers.

Silverbolt and Air Raid break off and engage the fighters. Air Raid shoots at one of the engines. It loses control and crashes into a building. Sliverbolt transformed into his robot mode and grabbed the second gunship on the left side, spinning it around and threw it at the closest gunship, crashing into it as they both exploded. Then they regroup with the wing suit formation.

Lennox: "Sharp right!" Lennox shouted, and they turn a sharp right as the bullets missed them and hit the buildings. Then they see a tiny hole in a collapsed building while leaning on another up ahead.

Bishop: "Building dead ahead!" She advised.

Lennox: "Thread the needle!" He shouted as they were getting closer at high speed.

The troopers flew through the hole as the Aerialbots hit their brakes, just as the Decepticon Gunships crashed in the pursuit. But the ones that didn't decided to pursued the Aerialbots instead. Sliverbolt and Air Raid lead the Gunship away from Lennox's team as they deployed their parachutes and landed safety on the ground. As they neared the ground, Lennox couldn't help but think that getting into Chicago was the easy part of this mission.

Lennox: "Thanks for the support, Sliverbolt." He thanked Silverbolt through his radio.

Silverbolt[on Radio]: "Happy to help." He radioed back. "We'll stay up in the skies to clear out any Decepticon ships in sight, Stratosphere and the others will be here shortly. Good luck."

Lennox: "Weapons status?" He demanded, looking over his troops.

NEST Trooper: "Twenty-nine Bot-busters, twenty piercing D-Bot." He informed as they all cocked weapons.

Lennox: "For our brothers, let's make this trip worth it." He deceived to his soldiers, and they all sprinted off into the city.

Meanwhile, (YN)'s group had made it to the 13th floor of the building after finishing climbing another set of stairs.

(YN): "Okay, I think we're high enough." He declared.

Hardcore Eddie: "This is a mother getting up here!" He grumbled, holding the rocket launcher.

Epps: "Get your fat ass over here!" He shouted.

Hardcore Eddie: "I'm coming!" He panted, and rushes to the window which is busted open.

Epps: "Set up the rocket!" He ordered, jabbing a thumb behind him, pointing at the shattered windows. "They're coming." Eddie gripped the launcher as Hooch loads it up to take the shot and destroy the control pillar.

Mikaela: "There! That building with the dome!" She pointed to the Jewelers Tower, the four cupolas arcing with electricity in a bright blue color.

(YN): "I see it." He nodded, zooming in with his HUD. Suddenly, the building began to shake, making them all try to keep their balance.

Epps: "The hell was that?" He demanded.

Jake: "Earthquake?" He questioned.

Hooch looks down and he could see several fighters shooting at the lower damaged part of the building, the top half groaning in response.

Hooch: "They're shooting at the building!" He alerted as the building creaked and groaned, tilting more slightly before stilling.

Hardcore Eddie: "This is not a good idea." He muttered nervously, looking out the window.

(YN): "Excuse me?" He questioned harshly as his helmet retracted into the collar. 

Hardcore Eddie: "This is not a good idea." He repeated, looking over at (YN). "The building is unstable."

(YN): "Shut up and listen." He stepped as he quickly jumped to his feet and stood beside Eddie. "If we don't shoot that thing then it doesn't matter, we're all dead." He pointed out, holding a hand out to the Jewelers Building. "You wanna die?" Eddie shook his head. "Good. Now go and shoot that pillar!" He patted Eddie on the shoulder before backing away from the window.

Hardcore Eddie: "I don't even care if the building collapses." He muttered, looking through the scope as he gets ready to aim at the cupola. "I'm having a heart attack anyway!"

The building shook beneath their feet with much more prominent and stronger tremor than before, causing shards glass and other office objects to slide down the floor.

Epps: "The building's going over!" He shouted.

(YN): "Hang onto something!" He ordered, and they all did.

(YN) holds tight to Mikaela and one of the room bracer pillars as the building let out a low groan as it slowly slanted forward, making desks, chairs and even shelves fall to the floor and slide down past them. Slowly, the building finally stopped as everyone started catching their breaths.

Epps: "It's okay, it's stopped." He declared to the others.

Vanessa: "Guys, look!" She exclaimed as she pointed. Everyone managed to turn to see at what caught her attention.

Mongo: "Incoming! Incoming!" He muttered as two Decepticon fighters then start making their way towards the building, and approaching the floor they were on.

Epps: "Everybody hide!" He ordered, and everyone took cover as one fighter holds position outside the building.

One of its cockpits opened up and a Decepticon Protoform copilot dismounting as they all found cover. It dived-rolled through the window and with it Fusion Shotgun out. The Decepticon cocked its weapon as it hunted for them as they all stood stock-still.

(YN): "Don't move..." He spoke so quietly, but even in that deafening silence, his voice sounded unnervingly loud.

They could hear the soft and almost seductive growl of the Decepticon. It sounded terrifyingly close, and it took every ounce of Mikaela's willpower not to make a mad run for it. (YN) looked at Wolfang, who hiding in a large pile of shelves. (YN) gives him several hand motions and Wolfang growls in acknowledgment.

Epps pulled out a grenade from a pouch on his combat vest and quietly yanked the pin off before motioning to Eddie, who's taking cover behind the pillar. Eddie tentatively reached out for two computer chairs and rolled them gently to achieve momentum, he pushed it in the opposite direction from them. The Decepticon took the bait, and shifted slightly away from the humans. Epps took this opportunity to throw a grenade at the Decepticon, causing it to groan out.

Epps: "RUN! COVERING FIRE!" He yelled out as they broke into a desperate run, none of them knowing which way to go.

The Decepticon lunged towards them, but was kept further off-balance by (YN)'s ion blasters and the retreating soldiers as the group ran up the floor. Then Wolfang attacks the Decepticon's face, making shoot in every direction, barely missing the humans.

Epps: "Shoot the glass! Jump out the window!" He ordered, and they all shot the glass in front of them.

(YN): "Wolfang!" He called. Wolfang pounces off the Decepticon and runs after him, transforming into his rucksack mode, allowing him to catch him, and hoisted on his back, then retracted his cannons and caught up with rest of them. "JUMP!"

One by one, they all jump through the windows, with (YN) keeping his right arm linked with Mikaela's left when it was their turn to jump and released her so that they could land safely. And with a thud, they  started to slide down the other side of the building. The group slid down several flights of floors when they noticed that the skyscraper had been blasted halfway up, and at the end of the slope was a deadly free-fall towards the streets of Chicago down below. This caused everyone to let out screams of terror and panic as they continued to slide helplessly down the sleek glass towards the edge.

Mikaela: "(YN), I can't stopped!" She shouted, her arms and legs flailing helplessly about. (YN) held her close to him as he then deployed his left blaster.

(YN): "Shoot the glass!" He shouted.

Epps and his men then shoot the glass and fall through into another floor, sliding down. (YN) summons his left Energon sword and stabs it into the floor, halting him and Mikaela, while Jake, Vanessa, Epps and his men grab various exposed wire cables, except for one who had tumbled out and towards the ground below.

Office supplies now fell below where Shockwave was hunting for the Autobots. He saw the desk fall and felt a coffe cup shatter on top of his helmet, and then a human hit the pavement with a loud thud, killing him on impact.

Breathing a sigh in relief, Epps used the wires to pull himself from the edge from his near death experience.

Epps: "Is everybody okay?!" He shouted as the others slowly got up.

(YN): "You good?" He called.

Hardcore Eddie: "THE HELL WAS THAT?!" He exclaimed loudly, but no one answered him.

Down below, Shockwave was looking at the dead human. He studied it for a moment before he looked up, his single optic zooming in as he spotted and focused on Epps, who was slowly starting to panic.

Shockwave: "Drillerbot is thirsty..." He growled, not taking his eye off of Epps.

Epps: "This evil thing's looking at me!" He exclaimed, looking over at everyone behind him. (YN) puts Mikaela up against a room bracer and helps him up, seeing what he was talking about.

(YN): "Shockwave!" He gasped. "We gotta-"

Suddenly, a loud explosion occurred outside the building, followed by a familiar ringing of a drill, scraping against metal and dirt. Epps looked over to the direction and sees the Driller, churning down the streets towards them.

Epps: "He's even got an ugly Decepticon with it!" He yelled again. "WE NEED TO EVAC!"

(YN): "Everyone, get back!" He shouted, climbing up after the soldiers, reaching the left side of the room where the stairs were located.

Shockwave backed away from the glass building and turned to the Driller, just as it arrived and raised its body up.

Shockwave: "Let the bloodbath... commence." He declared, and the Driller gets into position, and with a shrill and high pitched roar, it immediately began to drig into the building.

The group managed to get down a few floors before having to stop when they encountered a blocked stairwell, which it was filled with rubble. They have no way out.

Hooch: "Epps, the stairs are blocked!" He shouted. "We're trapped!"

Stone: "How do we get out of here?" He asked to a running civilian, who didn't answer, and just ran. "Hey, come on!"

Hardcore Eddie: "Oh, Lord Jesus, let me just get out of this alive." He spoke in prayer. "Oh, Lord Jesus, just let me get out of this alive."

A shudder went through the building. Something was happening. (YN), Jake, and Epps peaked their heads through the window to look down at the Driller. Their eyes widened when they saw the Driller slowly drilling through the building, getting higher and higher each time it cleared through the floor.

(YN): "Move! WE GOTTA MOVE NOW!" He exclaimed.

Jake: "RUN!" He shouted with a panicked tone.

Epps: "Why do the Decepticons ALWAYS get the good shit?!" He yelled, backing away from the window as the group then climbed up the building to try and find another way down. "WE ABOUT TO BE EATEN, PEOPLE!"

The building shook once more as the Driller beast drills through the lower half the building as it tangles itself like a bow as the building tilts again. It uses it weight and crushes the building. And with a loud metallic snap, it made the upper half now start to fall downward.

The group scream as they all fell with the building, just as it falls on top of a roof of another building., making the top half be a bridge of sorts. (YN) grabbed onto Mikaela, and used his thrusters to halt his and her descent. Out of the corner of their eye, they saw the Driller.

Epps: "Good catch, man!" He shouted, hugging himself to a thick electric cable.

(YN): "I'm going to drop you onto the fire escape!" He now swung Mikaela over and she managed to land on both feet on the remains of the spiral staircase.

A low groan echoed, making everyone look up to see the Driller moving around once more. The tendrils stabbed into the building, drilling through it as the main drill curled underneath the building. Its maw filled with sharp and jagged metal spinning around as it headed closer to the humans.

Mikaela: "(YN)!!!" She shrieked in fright and terror as she saw the Driller slowly moving towards them.

Hooch: "Whoa! We gotta go!" He exclaimed as everyone started moving, trying to make their way towards the fire escape.

(YN) dropped down next and deployed his ion cannons from both arms and opened fired at the Driller, but his blasts aren't strong enough to hurt it, it just keeps coming.

Jake: "Hurry!" He ushered, turning to the Driller as it was coming closer to them.

But then, a sonic boom now got their attention, and they could see Optimus Prime flying in with his flight-tech and two large blasters on his arms.

Vanessa: "There's Optimus!" She called.

Optimus: "I'M COMING FOR YOU!" He roared towards the Driller.

Optimus flies right into the wrath of the Driller, firing rapidly at it. He swiftly dodged one of the tendrils before firing at the second tendril, blasting it clean off as Optimus slightly tilted left, avoiding the main drill and continuing fired at the body.

Gaining altitude, he shoot a hole in the building thanks to two missiles so that he can fly through and kill the Driller from the inside out. His plan works, and the Driller crashes to the ground below in a fiery explosion. Optimus flies away from the building, now landing on an unfinished structure a few blocks away, looking back to see what he's done.

Shockwave snarled in anger at what's happened, and he aims his cannon, firing dozens of missiles at Optimus, some hitting his left wing and booster. Optimus yells and groans as he crashed into the building, spiraling out of control until he crashed into a bunch a cranes with string cables. The cables tangled and wrapped around Optimus, trapping him as he as he hangs upside down. He grunted as he tried ripping the cables off him as he swings side to side.

Roadbuster: "Optimus!" He yelled out, with Leadfoot and Topspin driving to the building.

Optimus: "Wreckers!" He called back, looking down and he saw the Wreckers fast approaching, before he went back to free himself.

Rosdbuster: "Hang on! We're coming!" He hollered.

Back at the Jewelers Building, Sentinel stood up from his position. As the afternoon sun approaches, he knew the time is right to bring Cybertron to Earth.

Sentinel: "Decepticons around the world... launch the pillars." He ordered to all Decepticons all around the globe.

All around the entire world, from the reaches of south Africa and Australia to Japan and the Middle East, Decepticons began to launch numbers of pillars up into the sky.

The pillars soon reach up to geostationary orbit around Earth, the pillars now shifting into their second form like they are satellites, and they soon began to charge up with power.

It is almost time...
