15. Relations
No. I can't believe it. How?! It's not possible?!
I was speechless as I stared wide eyed.
"How?. . . " I whispered to myself. "How what?" Megatron questioned sounding quite amused by my disbelief.
"It's not possible." I said in disbelief. My spark aching. Megatron chuckled.
"Nightblade. . ." I whispered as I put my servo on the glass casing of the tube. After I'd had my moment of disbelief my defensive sibling instincts took over.
"HOW DO YOU HAVE MY BROTHER?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HIM?!" I demanded answers. Megatron looked taken aback by my outburst.
"DO NOT SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT!" He yelled back. "My brother died eons ago! Why is he here!?" I shouted.
"You're brother used to work for me when you were younger. He was a fine warrior. So very close to becoming my Second In Command." He started.
"That's not possible. My brother told me stories of you. He would never work for you and your twisted visions!" I spat at him, not believing a word he said.
"So you did know your brother well. You're correct, he would not work for me. . . By free will. So I threatened to kill you. And he immediately agreed to work for me." He continued.
I just stared at him. Unable to comprehend all this. My brother worked for the one Cybertronian he loathed the most, Megatron, for me.
"He was doing so very well. Until one day he caught me in a bad mood, and to top things off, he failed his mission and spoke back to me and stepped out of line, greatly." He explained. I listened attentively.
"I shot him."
My spark skipped a beat as I stumbled back. I've been working for the one Mech who killed my brother, my only family, my whole life.
"I was quite disappointed he was a fine soldier. I got Shockwave to do his best on reviving him. . . . He was successful." Megatron said.
I looked up at him with shock all over my faceplate. "M-my brothers. . . Alive?" I questioned quietly.
"Only. If you agree to do as I say." Megatron said deeply.
I. . . I can't. I can't work for Megatron he killed my brother! But if I do, perhaps I can get my brother back.
"If I work for you. . . You'll let my brother go?" I asked. "Yes. Yes I will, disobey me or betray me and I will kill the both of you." He threatened. "Though I may spare your brother. I could really use his set of skills at this time." He added.
"I'll do it." I agreed. My spark breaking as Smokescreen lingered in my processor.
"Wise choice." Megatron said as he walked out of the lab. Leaving me with my unconscious brother.
"I'll get you out big brother. I promise. I'm not gonna lose you again." I said to him.

General Narration
"Optimus. How do we tell Smokescreen? It'll be too much for him. He's already almost lost her once. This'll kill him." Bulkhead looked to his leader for an answer.
"I do not know. We must tell him. He will find out sooner or later." Optimus replied. "I'll tell him." Bulkhead said.
He walked down the hallways and stopped at Smokescreens berthroom. He raised his servo to knock but froze. He shut his optics and finally knocked.
"Bulkhead? What's up?" Smokescreen said as the doors opened. "Hey buddy, I uh, I got something to tell you." He started. Smokescreens optics narrowed with suspicion as well as worry.
"Skyfrost is. . . She's been taken. By Megatron we're assuming." He confessed.
Smokescreen didn't say a word. Smokescreens faceplate showed anger, fear, worry everything at the same time.
He walked back into his berth room, the door still open. He paced around the room, but not back and forth. Left right front back diagonally everywhere. His breathing was uneven and his optics darted around the room. He finally stopped at the wall to the left.
"NO!" He yelled as he punched the wall. he leaned his forehelm on the wall, servos above his head.
He then sank to the ground, now on his knees. "Not again. . . " he whispered, his voice full of pain and agony.
Bulkhead looked at his comrade unable to send any form of comfort towards him. The only thing that will make him feel better is his sparkmate.
He slowly walked towards him and rested a servo on Smokescreens slouching shoulder.
"We're gonna get her. We found her last time. We'll find her again." Bulkhead tried to assure his friend.
"What if we're too late. We may have gotten her last time but I doubt Megatron will make the same mistake twice. For all we know she could be dead right now." Smokescreen said painstakingly. His spark shattering into a million pieces at the thought of his sparkmate dead.
"Hey don't think like that. As long as the bond is alive, so is she. The bond. . . Is still alive. . . Right?" Bulkhead asked hesitantly. "Yeh. It is but, I feel some pain, physical and mental." Smokescreen described trying to focus on the bond.
"We've located the Nemesis." Arcee butted in before quickly racing back to Optimus and the others.
"Cmon, time for a rescue mission." Bulkhead said offering a hand to his friend. Smokescreen smiled a small but genuine smile to his friend and took his hand. The two 'Bots walked to the main room waiting for instructions.
"Ratchet had located the Nemesis, we get on save Skyfrost and get off." Optimus ordered.
They all nodded and got ready to move out.

Skyfrosts POV
I stormed up to the communications hub searching for Megatron. If he doesn't wake my brother now I will not work for him.
I entered the room and marched towards Megatron. He was with Starscream. Probably Leader and Second In Command business that I don't give two scraps about!
"Hey! When are you planning on waking my brother, it better be now or else you're gonna have a wee little problem!" I said full of bravery. When it comes to my brother, nothing stops me.
Starscream turned to face me. "Night! You're free?!" He exclaimed. That's right he didn't know. "Yes. Good to see you Screamy. Now back to my brother." I said refocusing my attention to Megatron.
"You will obey me?" He asked skeptically. I nodded slowly, hating my decision. "Very well I will get Shockwave to head down there and awaken your brother." Megatron said.
I started for Shockwaves lab and to my joy he was already in there preparing for Nightblades awakening.
"Hurry I want my brother. Now." I demanded. "It is illogical for you to rush the procedure." He said in his oh-so-interesting voice. "Just do it." I said irritated.
After a few more minutes of buttons being pressed. Statistics being recorded and status being checked. Shockwave finally drained the tube of the liquid leaving Nightblade in an empty cylindrical cage.
The glass casing slid down leaving me to catch my unconscious brother.
I held him in my arms not saying a word. I was too busy taking in my brothers appearance. He was a fine mech. Chiseled features. Muscular build. Not to mention also smart in the lab. His dark blue paint job with grey detailing went well with his scarlet red optics. Yes. Quite a fine mech.
His optics fluttered open. By the AllSpark!
"Nightblade?. . . " I whispered. He finally regained consciousness and opened his optics completely. "Nightstar?!" He said sounding a little confused.
"Are you one with the AllSpark dear sister?" He asked. "What? No. Blade, you're alive." I explained, a tear rolling down my faceplate.
"Impossible. Megatron shot me. That blasted Mech. I'll kick him in the aft once he's one with the AllSpark." He said with hatred.
"Nightblade. I know. You worked for Megatron, stepped out of line and got shot. Megatron has gotten Shockwave to revive you and it worked." I explained. His faceplate turned to shock and horror and anger towards Megatron.
He realised he was alive and kicking and realisation hit him that he was with his dear little sister. He sat up and hugged me tightly.
"I've missed you a lot sister."
"I've missed you too brother."
