After the incident I had come to live amongst my once sworn enemies, I had been living amongst them for only a week and they had given me my respectful space aside from the human child Miko who continued to be a nuisance and i was still yet to get used to it.

"Sooo big con lady, you're going to be on our side now right?" She questioned her voice hinting at annoyance from my little interest in her questions, turning my helm to look at her I narrowed my optics in annoyance.

"Stop calling me Con lady, my name is Shadowseeker, and to answer your question yes I am," I grumbled before turning my gaze back to the data pad I was reading through, most of the time I preferred to read over historical facts and imagine the battles and other events in my mind.

"But you still have the con symbol on your shoulder, that makes you a con," Miko retorted, letting out a low growl I placed the data pad down and tore the symbol from my shoulders. Turning my gaze back to the small human I gave an annoyed huff, from her expression I had caught her off guard.

"You happy now!?" I snarled before standing up and storming off to fix my newly formed wounds, with a huff I switched my servo into a medical tool and began to patch up my wounds in the silence of the med bay. Not too long into me patching myself up I noticed an all too familiar red and white medic entering the room, his gaze was unreadable but I could sense his sympathy.

"Human offspring tend to be bothersome but you will get used to their pestering, on the other hand I want to examine you if you don't mind," he stated his optics filled with a sense of calm, giving a slight nod I made my way towards him before setting myself down on the medical berth. The moment he began to examine me however I felt a sense of dread fill my spark, when he reached my stomach area I noticed the red and white mech tense which made me pull away and sit up hugging my legs to my chassis as I knew what he was going to ask.

"I see now why Optimus softened so quickly, I was unaware Megatron could be so disturbing," he muttered, pulling my legs closer to my chassis I buried my helm in my arms.

"I thought he admired my courage for serving him, then he did this to me, Soundwave helped me escape and told me of you arriving soon, I really thought that everything was fine but when Shockwave and Soundwave created this new mode for me I felt terrified every time Megatron looked at me, now I know why I acted the way I did when you all showed me mercy, I was scared that you would act the same way as my fearless leader," I mumbled closing my optics, a gentle servo was placed on my shoulder which caused me to raise my helm to look at Ratchet as energon began to run down my cheeks.

"I didn't mean to bring it up, I might be a grumpy old fool but I'm not heartless, Optimus made the right call in bringing you back here, the only problem is Megatron knows what he's done and if I know Megatron he won't stop until your by his side again, no one else knows of this but myself, Optimus might have picked up on it since he's no foolish youngster like he was back on Cybertron," Ratchet sighed shaking his helm as he wiped away my tears, looking down I nodded.

"Everyone has a right to know what's wrong with me, if they want me to leave I will, I wouldn't want to be around the future offspring of my sworn enemy either, plus, none of you have a true reason to trust me, I won't betray anything I know of the decepticons but I won't give away your secrets either," I mumbled wiping away a few more stray tears, looking at Ratchet I took his extended servo and followed him back into the main bay. The sound of the bases main entrance opening and closing told me the others were back from patrol, glancing sideways at Ratchet I nodded to him knowing he was silently encouraging me to tell the others.

"Nice to see the base wasn't torn to shreds, we heard from Jack what happened with Shadowseeker and Miko," Arcee stated her eyes glinting with amusement and sympathy, lowering my gaze I noticed Ratchets posture soften slightly beside me.

"I have something to say that you all should hear, none of you need to feel sorry for me, none of you need to falsely want to keep me around, but I'm a ticking time bomb, because of Megatron's actions towards me I am carrying his sparkling," I sighed trying my hardest not to break down like I had in that cave, instead of hostility my words were met with silence. Before I could react I felt many sets of arms embrace my trembling figure, shocked I lifted my gaze to see they had all come closer to comfort me instead of reject me like I had thought they would.

"What Megatron has done is wrong, no one should be put through such pain for the mere pleasure of a single mind, do not worry Shadowseeker, Megatron will pay for his crimes soon enough, and one thing is for certain, your safety as well as the future sparkling's safety is our main priority," Optimus vowed, giving them all a thankful nod I managed to muster up a slight smile.

"Thank you," I rasped my optics once more on the verge of tears, all I had ever known was forced kindness and now I was amongst those who put the lives of others before their own. If I had been created an Autobot I would have happily died serving them so many times, with such a risk above our helms there would be plenty of joy and sorrow yet to come.
