Cody's P.O.V

I got upstairs to have my breakfast while talking with Dad as he cleans up the leftovers from my sibling's meals.

" So Cody do you wish to attend classes or have the day off, " Dad inquired of me

" I think I'll have an extra day off to ensure I understand what I am doing and so I can also make sure I don't drop out during the day for any reason " I answered back to Dad

" Ok I understand, see you later, and call if you need anything "

" yep see you later Dad "

And with that Dad took off for work as I was the only one left at the firehouse, I wheeled my way up to the com centre to keep an eye on the town for the day. It was later in the afternoon when I thought that maybe I could see with dad if Frankie could come over after school, to help me with the work I have missed.

As the day went on, there weren't many emergencies, I got bored so I went for a look around the firehouse to see if anything has been altered but I didn't find anything different anywhere. I then made my way to the bunker.

It is the first time I have been down here by myself since the incident. I rolled in gradually while glancing around I see everything the way it was previously before the fire. I resume rolling my way through as all the memories from the past month come back all at once at the sight of the tunnel door. I pass out from the exhaustion of all the memories coming back in one hit. The last thing I remember before closing my eyes was the feeling of my back hitting the floor.

Chief Burns P.O.V

I got back to the firehouse after a day of patrol, to start looking for Cody. When I discovered him I the bunker asleep on the floor, I knelt next to him and softly shake Cody's shoulder. Cody begins to arouse with a glossy look in his eyes. That's when I realise that Cody might have blacked out as he doesn't generally fall asleep wherever.

" Hey Cody you OK " I implored him

" I believe so but I do recollect everything now if that is a useful thing to know " Cody replied to me.

" I'm pleased now let's get a head start on dinner if you want to help because I for one don't wish to have Dani cook tonight "

" Sure, also is there a way to keep Dani out of the kitchen prominently "

" I don't believe there is "

and with that, we both made our way upstairs to commence on dinner so when the others arrive home it will be ready.

" Dad is it OK for Frankie to come over after dinner so we can work on our school homework and also so I can catch up "

" I don't see an issue with that "

When dinner was served the others reached home and we began to talk.

" So Cody how's the new device Doc Greene made, " Graham inquired

" It's absolutely tremendous, I believe it's a lot better than having a wheelchair that makes it tougher to get into a car, plus it's not a hoverchair and you all remember where I stand with tech "

" that's fair, so when are you going back to school," Dani asked

" tomorrow, Frankie is coming by later to assist me with catching up on what I have missed out on "

Later that evening

Cody's P.O.V

My family left for an emergency not too long ago and I was in the kitchen waiting for Frankie to stop by when I heard the doorbell. I roll to the door to open it, to see Doc Greene and Frankie.

" Hello Doc Greene and Frankie "

" Hey Cody you ready to catch up on schoolwork," Frankie proclaimed

" sure am "

" Is Chief around by any chance, I wanted to have a discussion with him about something, Oh and how is the new Device Cody " Doc Greene inquired

" no Dad left for an emergency and the new device works wonders, Thanks "

When Doc Greene left, Frankie and I went up to the family area to start on our school work for tomorrow. It was 10 pm at night by the time my family got back from work. Frankie and I were still up discussing our school work.

" Hello Frankie," Dani announced as she shuffled past on the way to her bed

" Hey Dani " Frankie called after and it was similar response with Kade and Graham.

Dad then came in and helped us out. As it got later, he let Frankie stay the night so she slept in the guest room that had sets of clothing for her as she was over so often while we have been growing up, it the same at Frankie's they have sets of my clothes there for when it is too late for pickups. I took off to my room for the night to get ready for school tomorrow.

The next Day

I woke up and jumped off the bed after putting the clip on and getting dressed, I wheeled down to the kitchen to reveal everyone there including Frankie. I rolled to the empty spot and climbed on the chair to have some Breakfast and chatted. When it came to time Frankie and I set off for school, on the way there we had some difficulties, well mainly me, I had some problem going down a hill and up another. I was just glad Frankie was there to help me out.

" So what is it like " Frankie interrogated

" what do you mean "

" Will I mean you are in a wheelchair for most probable the remainder of your existence and you look like you don't have a problem with it. How are you going to do everything you did beforehand "

" I don't really care about being in a wheelchair especially with what the with outcome was to be, plus with this device your Dad invented I will still be able to help out with rescues, but I just have to wait until dad and the Doctor gives me the clear. Plus I can still do everything the same as before I can just do it differently "

" Ok that makes sense "

We then heard the school bell go off, we race to get to class as quickly as we could so we aren't late.

the next lot of chapters I am going to do rewrites of some of the episodes, there are going to be some changes in them and added parts. there will be some short and some long and I am also thinking of writing some of my own still that are not episodes. I am also asking anyone for request on what kind of rescues or chapters or episode rewrite that you might like. Just letting you now that this is from season 1 then I will do season 2, 3 and 4 later so codys age in season 1 is 8-9, season 2 he is 9-10, in season 3 he is 10-11 then season 4 he is 13-14. that is the same for Frankie as well and in season 1 Kade is 20, Dani is 19 and Graham is 18  and chief is unknown ( maybe around 50 ).
