You wander around the island. For that midnight walk. Help some folks and makes food for yourself.

Reader p.o.v

Open sesame!. You yelled pushing. Well you didn't actually yell or everybody would wake up. And that would be a pity. But opening this door was a challenge. It was even harder then teaching Dani how to cook property xD. But it turned out you had to click a handle upwards so then you could push the door open. It was like a lock. Your IQ just went down. But uh. You opened the door and closed it softly behind you. There, you were outside. Time to start your patrol. And with that you began your marching. The stars and the moon were shining. It was a peaceful night. You made your way through to town. Down to the beach. Were the water was slowly moving back and forward. You really were planning on making that circle around the firehouse. Not the whole island maybe. That would take you longer then this night. Suddenly your phone vibrated. You grabbed your phone from your pocket.

Chief
"Alright be save. Give me a call if you need anything!"

You smiled. A warm feeling on your chest.

"I will chief. Sleep tight"

You put your phone back in your pocket. And got back to walking. The chief had read your message before going out. You also met a grumpy men with a dog. The dog was around two months old. And not aware of keeping their needs in. It was midnight and the pup wouldn't stop barking. So he took the dog for a walk. But he was actually
a nice person. You had waved him goodbye. He had waved back at you. You took another deep inhale from the fresh outside air.

Once you left the beach you walked over the street. This was probably the most silence you could get around here. But it wasn't a real big thing. Back on your training days was way more louder then a town. As you walked your eyes locked on a blue car. The hood was popped up. And a men moving his head and hands around. "Hello" you greeted. Waving your hand. "Oh hi" the man greeted shortly. Looking up to see who you were. Then ducked his head back down. Moving the flashlight around. "I'm y/n the new recruit at the burns family. Maybe I can help you?" You said. Offering help.

The men got back up from underneath the engine. "I would appreciate that" he said. Giving you a smile. You smiled back. You stepped closer. Now the men accepted your help. "What seems to be the problem?" You asked looking over the engine. "She just won't start. And I don't want to be late for my evening shift" the men said. You rolled your sleeve to feel around. "What kind of work do you do if I may ask?" You said. "I'm a night guard at the zoo" he told you. That was a kinda cool job. But in the hours this late?. How late was it now? Close to two?.

You felt something wet hit your fingers. "Ah ha" you said bringing your finger back up. "She's leaking" you noted. "You need to change this cable around here and get a new copper rod" you explained. The men held the flashlight close to the damage. "I see yes. But I brought this car three years ago. How did this happen?" He asked. "Well as I look at the rest of your engine. Everything looks good and new. It's just bad luck" you said. "It can happen to every car" you said. "Ah thank you. Then I know what I gotta do" he said. "But how are you going to be on your work now?" You asked. "I'll take my bike" he laughed. You couldn't help but to grin from that. "I'll get you something to drink for your work" he said getting inside. You waved your hands. "No that's not necessarily. I just really like helping around" you said. "No I insist" he said disappearing and coming back with a cool drink. "Thank you" you said.

Not much later he rode off on his bicycle in uniform. Leaving you with your drink. You happily took a sip as you continued your walk. Your hands were a bit dirty but you could wash them clean back in the firehouse. You grabbed your phone it was just over two midnight. Time you finished your walk. But you stopped in your tracks as a young woman made their way towards you. "Hey *deep breath* sorry I *gasp* lost my dog. I let him walk free but saw a squirrel. He just *deep inhale* ran after it! Please help me" she said hands on her knees. As she used it for a support.

"Of course ma'am how can I recognize your dog?" You asked. "He's like this high" as she held her hands two feets of the ground. You nodded. "Brown fur with a twist in his tail" she said. "Alright. Where you did saw him for the last time" you asked. "Two blocks away from here" she said. "Alright. I'll go search this area and maybe you could look there?" As you pointed around. She nodded. "Thank you again! I'll be here back in ten in case you found him" she said. You would do the same.

Making the story short. You've been looking for around twenty minutes. Before finding the dog sniffing some flowers in the grass. And it was now getting closer to three in the deep dark midnight. And the lady who owned the dog was so happy. "Thank you! Thank you!" She gasped when you held the dog by the collar. Running and kneeling down to hug her dog. "Good thing he was only sniffing the flowers and not destroying them" you said. "Yeah" she agreed tiredly. You noticed that. "You should go home and have a nice sleep" you said. "Good idea" she said yawning. Suddenly hugged you and made her way back home. Her dog staying at her side on a line.

You decided you finish the whole walk you had in mind. Enjoying the peace. The fresh air. You smiled. Your stomach growled. Telling you you were hungry. And you turned around and marched back home. Opened the door of the firehouse and closed it softly behind you. Only you have a silence heart attack. The fire robot was standing there. "Geez. You scared me bud" you said. He was looking forward. I mean it. It was looking forward. It's a robot y/n. "Well goodnight" you said leaving the room. And going upstairs through the elevator. Making a sandwich in the kitchen. Eating it with the last sip of your drink you had. Before throwing it in the trashcan. Cleaning your plate and getting into bed.
