Meeting Him-Smokescreen

"Okay, so maybe not driving wasn't such a good idea." You said as you walked down the dark Jasper streets.

It was nighttime, and you constantly felt like you were being watched. Turning at the next corner, you looked around again. Nothing.

"Just three more blocks Y/N, just three more blocks."

You had taken only a few steps before you heard footsteps behind you. Whipping around, you saw three guys a little older than you making their way forwards.

"Oh no." You say, before starting to run.

You hear them chase after you, but with your headstart you will outlast, at least for a little while. Pumping your arms as fast as you can, you will your legs to move quicker. Speeding down the sidewalk, you can't help but wonder where is everyone? There was literally no one on the streets, so no one would see if a girl was about to get hurt or kidnapped. You ran and ran, and once you thought you had lost them, you turned into a dead end.

"Crud." You say, turning around to leave, until you hear a dark chuckle coming from the entrance.

"Forget that." You say, running to the far end of the alley, trying to find a way out.

Not even three seconds had gone by before the men were right in front of you.

"Hey kid, what are you doing all alone?" One of them asks tauntingly.

"Yea, you should know the streets are a dangerous place at night." A second smirks.

The three of them laugh and the sound makes you cringe.

"Leave me alone." You say standing up as tall as you could.

"Nah, we don't wanna do that. Somebody might hurt you." The third says with a snicker.

They start to move closer and you press yourself against the wall, wishing you could become part of it.

"I think the lady said for you to leave her alone." A new voice says. From the entrance of the alley, the silhouette of a car can be seen.

"Oh yeah? And who's gonna stop us?" The first one says as the three turn around.

Suddenly the car transforms, turning into a huge robot. Two bright blue eyes open and pierce through the shadows.

"Me. Now get out." The robot says.

The three men stand still for a second, before running from the alley while still staying as far from the robot as they can. It watches to make sure they really have left before turning its attention back on me. I peel myself from the wall as it walks forward and kneels down in front of me. Now that it's in front of me I can see it better, and its kind face keeps the intimidation at bay. And the fact that it just saved my life.

"Are you alright Miss?" The robot asks, concern lining its face.

"I'm fine. Thank you for saving me." I say, looking up at its glowing eyes.

"No problem. My name is Smokescreen."

"Y/N." I look at him for a minute, examining how he was once just a car, and now has transformed into a robot. "So, you transform into a car. Not to be rude or anything, you just saved my life, but what are you exactly?" I ask, meeting his gaze.

Smokescreen chuckles. "I'm a cybertronian, a transforming being from Cybertron. I'm also an Autobot, which is good new for you."

"What's an Autobot?"

"Well, there are Autobots and there are Decepticons. I am an Autobot, we fight for justice and peace. Decepticons are our enemies. They want to conquer Cybertron, and this planet to keep under their evil control."

"Wow." I say with shock.

"Yea. Problem is, now with you knowing about me, you've become a target for Decepticons. I'm going to have to take you back to my base to make sure you'll be safe."

"You already saved my life once, so I'm going to trust you on this one."

Smokescreen smiled and stood up, transforming into his car.

"Woah, you're a race car? I thought you were just an ordinary car."

"Nope." He says, opening up the passenger door. "An ordinary car would be too ordinary for me."

As you strap yourself in, you can't help but smile.
