Nahko's POV

I feel like Optimus is in trouble. "Ratchet, check in with Optimus" I tell him. He nods his head.

"Optimus, have you uncovered any further sign of Unicron's emergence?" he asks him.

"Unicron is power incarnate, and you, the last of the Primes, shall perish. Along with the future Prime" an unknown voice says. I gulp huddling in closer to Jazz's neck.

"Don't worry, I won't let him near you gorgeous" he assures me in a whisper.

"I take that as a "yes". We are on our way" Ratchet tells Optimus. As Jazz offers me his hand, I hop onto it and he lowered me down onto the platform. Where I joined the others as Optimus replies 'negative'.

"Unicron cannot be defeated by sheer force. He wants me, Ratchet. This fight must be mine alone" Optimus tells him. But Ratchet sends the other four anyway.

"You ok Nahko?" Jack asks me concerned.

"Yeah, you look scared and you're never scared" Miko states.

"I'm just better at hiding my fears Miko, but I am scared" I tell her. She hugs me. "Don't react, I might be the future Prime, Unicron mentioned" I whisper and she goes to react. I give her a look and she controls herself.

"Bathroom, now" she states and drags me from the room. She takes me to the nearest bathroom and drags me inside. "Spill now" she tells me.

"I had another dream and this time I meet Primus" I tell her.

"The guy who made the original Primes?" she asks and I nod my head. "What'd he say?" she demands as she sits on the counter.

"That he has not seen someone else worthy of being a Prime since Optimus. Until Solus Prime saved me from death by changing me" I tell her. "He said once my transformation is complete, the Matrix will present itself to me" I state.

"Awesome" she says.

"Not awesome, I don't want to be a leader or have to hide my emotions. I like partying with you and Jazz. Racing with Raf and Bumblebee, dune bashing with Bulkhead. I don't want to change my personality" I tell her.

"Well you're not a typical autobot, why do you have to be a typical Prime?" she asks me. "We're all different, look at the autobots each of them is different. But are apart of the same team" she states. "No one is saying you have to become like Optimus if or when you become a Prime. Just be you" she tells me.

"When did you become wise?" I ask her.

"I can use my head sometimes you know" she reminds me. Then hops off of the counter and hugs me tight. "No matter what, we'll always be sisters, right?" she asks me.

"Right" I say as I return the hug. She pulls away and looks at me quizically.

"Are you getting taller?" she asks me and I frown. Looking at the mirror, I have gotten taller. We used to be the same height, but I am now a couple of inches taller.

"Weird, anyone lets rejoin the others" I tell her. She agrees and we return to the main room. To see the others are back and Ratchet looks very unhappy.

"I know that desperate times call for desperate measures, but bringing Megatron here?" he demands. Wait, what? Why would Megatron be allowed here? What the hell had Miko and I missed?

"How can you even think about letting that monster near these children after what he did to Raf?" Nurse Darby asks Optimus.

"He will be closely monitored and only allowed to linger long enough to send us on our journey. Not one moment more" Optimus assures us.

"Why is he coming here?" I ask.

"A truce to stop Unicron" Jazz tells me. Ok, but why would we need Megatron for that? Only a Prime can stop Unicron, so he'd need us. Not the other way around. Though if Unicron wakes, Earth will be destroyed and Megatron will have no planet to rule. So he only wants to help so that he can one day rule Earth. I guess it's better to trust the devil you know.

"What's gonna stop the 'Con from calling in an air strike if he knows where you live?" Fowler asks Optimus.

"Because whether he likes it or not, he needs Optimus' help to stop Unicron from destroying Earth. So that he can rule is one day. I doubt he'll attack us today" I state.

"Nahko is correct" Optimus agrees with me. "Besides, by ground-bridging Megatron here, he will be unable to get a fix on our coordinates" he states. True.

"Okay and who is the other Prime Unicron mentioned?" Fowler asks.

"I was wondering that to, something about a future Prime" Jack states. Optimus glances at me and I nod my head. I trust them.

"You do not know this Agent Fowler or Nurse Darby. But a little over a year ago, Nahko was in an accident. Which left a chard of energon inside her" Optimus tells them.

"Wait, how is that possible?" Nurse Darby asks.

"How is she not dead?" Fowler asks.

"Because it's changing" I state.

"The shard inside her is not a normal shard of energon, but had been infused with CNA of a former Cybertronian. One of the thirteen original Primes" Ratchet states.

"Primes were made to protect life, Solus showed herself to me and offered me a chance to live. But to do so, I'd have to change. Become a techno-organic" I state.

"Part Cybertronian" Ratchet adds.

"I agreed, but I never agreed to being a Prime. But Primus himself deems me worthy of the title and says once my transformation is complete. The Matrix will present itself to me" I explain.

"Whoa" Jack says. "But wait, you said you will have to release the energy in the Matrix to stop Unicron" he states looking up at Optimus. "What's gonna happen to you when all your Matrix energy is released?" he asks.

"The power within the Matrix has not previously been utilized in this particular manner" Optimus admits.

"But you have an idea, don't you?" Jack asks. Optimus doesn't answer. He must know what will happen, which means I will have to go on the mission Primus has given me. But how the hell am I gonna get to Cybertron?

"Autobots, if humankind is to be saved I have no choice but to proceed. But you do" Optimus tells the team.

"Well, I don't know about humankind, but I'm willing to do it for Miko" Bulkhead states.

"For Nahko" Jazz adds.

"For Jack" Arcee declares.

"For Raf" Bee buzzes.

(Base) Third Persons POV

Megatron is brought to the base. As Ratchet herded the humans from the room. "No fair! I've never seen him! Why do we have to hide?" Miko demands. Nahko rolls her eyes at her twin.

"Because I said so" Ratchet snaps. Nahko grabs Miko and drags her other to the other humans. As Megatron exits the ground bridge vortex.

"So, this is where the magic happens. Quaint" he states. Suddenly Raf runs towards him and the other humans follow. Nahko grabs him. As Arcee and Jazz block Megatron's path to them.  "Ah! You're looking much better than the last time we met, little one. Humans resilient" Megatron states.

"Come on, Raf. He isn't worth it" Jack tells Raf as Nahko hands Raf to June. Who starts to lead him away.

"And you. I never forget a face, even that of a human" Megatron states eyeing Jack. Who ignores him as he follows his mum and Raf.

"You double-cross anyone, mine is the face you'll never forget. Never!" Miko screams at Megatron. As she dragged away by Agent Fowler. Nahko shakes her head at her twin sister.

"You are different from the others" Megatron states eyeing. Could she be the future Prime? he ponders in his head. Nahko glares up at him.

"If any of them die today Megatron, it's not Unicron you should fear. It's me" Nahko tells him. Before walking away. "Calm sister, he won't double cross us if he knows what's good for him" she states.

"Ratchet, obtain the destination coordinates from our guest" Optimus instructs. While the other autobots cover Megatron as he hands Ratchet the coordinates. Optimus decides to speak to Jack and Nahko. "Jack, Nahko will you keep something for me?" he asks them.

"Sure" Jack tells him.

"Anything for you Optimus" Nahko adds. He hands them the key yo Vector Sigma. They touch it at the same time and it glows faintly. Nahko feels a rush of power from the device.

"What is it?" Jack asks Optimus.

"It is the key to the ground bridge power supply" Optimus lies. Nahko frowns, there is no key to the ground bridge power supply. Could this be a key to Vector Sigma? she wonders as she exams it. But if so, why give it to Jack and me? She knew he is lying so as not to draw Megatron's attention and keeps her mouth shut.

"Okay, but shouldn't Ratchet have this?" Jack asks Optimus confused. Why would he give us the key to the ground bridge power supply? he wonders.

"Perhaps. But I've been impressed by how much you both have matured since we first met. As such, I feel you both have earned the responsibility of safeguarding this important device until I return" Optimus states.

"I won't let you down" Jack assures him.

"Nor will I Optimus" Nahko adds as Jack pockets the key. Optimus then returns to the other autobots and Megatron. As Jack and Nahko rejoin the other humans. As Ratchet opens the ground bridge.

"Locked and ready" he states.

"You first bucket-head"Jazz tells Megatron.

"As you wish" Megatron sneers. Making a mental note to kill Jazz at the earliest opportunity. He goes through the ground bridge vortex first. Optimus, Arcee, Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Jazz all follow. And Ratchet closes the portal behind him.

"Be safe Optimus, please come back to us" Nahko pleads. Sending a prayer to Primus and god. Before going to sit beside her sister as they wait.
