I've decided to skip Shadowzone as I am not a huge fan of the episode. There will be a paragraph about it in this chapter. So here it is, along with Operation Breakdown.

Nahko' POV

So about a week ago the others and I found ourselves in another dimension with a zombie con. Because Miko decided she wanted to get photos. The others and I ran after her, in order to stop her. But things didn't work out that way. Two ground bridges opened and combined. And we ended up trapped in another dimension with a zombie con. But Ratchet figured out a way to bring us back and things have been quiet since.

Anyway, Bulkhead was on a reconnaissance mission when he didn't comm in. Miko called him and he requested a ground bridge back to base. When he returned, we notice he had been in some sort of fight. As he is a little banged up. He told us how he ran into Breakdown and they began to fight. As Ratchet rends to his wounds.

"Engaging the enemy on your own was foolish, Bulkhead" Optimus tells him.

"Breakdown jumped me. I knew I could take him" Bulkhead states.

"Stay still" Ratchet tells him.

"But we should see the other guy, right, Bulk?" Miko asks him.

"Uh. Yeah. About that" Bulkhead says sheepishly.

"You didn't torch him?" she asks.

"Not exactly. I-I figured you all did" he admits. "When I came to, Breakdown was just gone. I remember hearing a copter" he explains.

"None of us turn into copters Bulkhead" Jazz reminds him. "Though that would be cool" he states. I give him a look.

"Maybe it was agent Fowler" Bulk suggests.

"Not me" Fowler states as he joins us. "But I have an idea who. Show me where this 'con-napping occurred" he instructs. He's been a lot more respectful since the autobots saved him and the planet. Ratchet pulls up the coordinates on screen.

"This is where we picked up Bulkhead" Ratchet states.

"The Kamchatka peninsula in eastern Russia" Fowler says. "Much of it was abandoned 20 years ago, when its volcano first erupted. My intel reported Mech activity there earlier today" he explains.

"Mech? You mean those techie guys?" Miko asks.

"The very ones who know of our existence on your planet" Ratchet adds.

"They must have tracked one of us there" Bulkhead states.

"But what would they want with Breakdown?" Miko asks.

"What's it matter? They can have him" Arcee states.

"I agree" Bee buzzes.

"Dragged off by humans. Ha! Guess I softened him up for them, huh?" Bulk asks happily.

"Guys this is bad" I tell them.

"What's bad about it Nahko? Breakdown's a con and now we have one less enemy to deal with and Bulkhead is back safe" Jazz states.

"Ratchet, reactivate the previous ground bridge coordinates. We will rescue Breakdown" Optimus orders. At least someone understands the danger.

"What?!" he asks shocked.

"Optimus, you can't be serious" Arcee states.

"He's a con" Jazz adds.

"Exactly" Bee beeps.

"Mech can melt him down for all I care. Let the 'cons rescue their own" Bulkhead tells him.

"It is unlikely that Megatron would bother with an errand of mercy" Optimus states.

"Mech is a constant danger to all of us, especially if they learn more about your biomechanics" I state.

"But this is Breakdown we're talking about" Arcee reminds us.

"Sometimes we must rise above ourselves for the greater good" Optimus tells him.

"Oh, what's that supposed to mean?! Breakdown's gonna be grateful and go all soft and join the cause?" Bulkhead asks.

"I doubt that" Jazz states.

"While it is unlikely that any Decepticon will choose the path of good, even they possess the potential for change" Optimus tells them.

"I knew where this was headed!" Bulkhead complains.

"By "greater good," I meant humankind. Mech presents a clear and present danger" Optimus states.

"Prime's right, two-ton. We know Mech is obsessed with obtaining groundbreaking technology" Fowler states.

"Which means we cannot allow cybertronian biology to fall into their hands" Optimus states.

"Which will happen if we don't save Breakdown" I add.

"Come on, Bulk! You got to go with" Miko tells him.

"Same with you Jazz" I tell my guardian.

"Don't want to" Bulkhead says pouting.

"Me neither" Jazz adds.

"Bulkhead, Jazz" Optimus says and they look at him.

"Optimus, I'm sorry. I just can't do it" Bulkhead tells him.

"It doesn't feel right helping a con" Jazz adds sheepishly.

"I support your choices" Optimus tells them and they look at him surprised.

"W-w-what?!" Bulkhead asks shocked.

"Given your history with Breakdown, your judgment may be clouded and thus jeopardize the mission. Besides, the Decepticon may be more in need of a medic than another warrior" Optimus states. "As for you Jazz, I think it best two bots remain here" he adds.

"Locked and loaded, Optimus" Ratchet tells him.

"Autobots, roll out" Optimus orders and they leave. Jazz closes the bridge behind them and I give him a disappointed look.

"Don't give me that look Nahko" he whines.

"What if it was me Jazz?" I ask him and he frowns in confusion. "I'm a human turning into a robot hybrid, what do you think Mech would do if they discovered me? I'd end up at some lab experiment" I tell him. "Don't think of it as saving a decepticon, think of it as doing this for my safety. You are my guardian after all" I remind him.

"I hate when you have a point" he grumbles. As he heads for the ground bridge patrols, I notice Miko had been giving Bulkhead a talk also. "You come Bulkhead?" he asks.

"Yes" he says and Jazz activates the bridge.

"Raf, you're in charge of the bridge" Jazz states. Before leaving with Bulkhead.

"So how did you convince Bulkhead to help?" I ask Miko.

"Only that he won't ever get a rematch and a chance to beat Breakdown if he doesn't save him" she states.

"Smart" I say fist bumping her.

"Ow, your hand is getting real hard" she mutters.

"Sorry" I say sheepishly.

"How did you convince Jazz to help?" Jack asks.

"That it was better for my safety if Mech didn't have Breakdown and reminded him that he is my guardian" I state with a shrug.

"That actually worked?" Fowler asks impressed.

"What can I say? I know Jazz" I tell him. "Anyone want to make a bet on who finds Breakdown and Mech first?" I ask.

"Bet it's Bulkhead and Jazz" Miko tells me.

"No way, Optimus and the others have a head start" Jack states.

"Besides Bee is a scout" Raf adds.

"I agree with my sister" I tell them.

"Guess we'll find out when the bots comm in" Fowler tells us. We then continue watching a movie Miko had put on earlier. Fowler falls asleep. Jack had to get home alone with Raf. So only Miko and I remained to see who'd rescue Breakdown first.

(Time skip)

So Jazz and Bulkhead found Mech first. They managed to save Breakdown, though Mech had already began examining him when they arrived. They escaped Mech together and Bulkhead got his rematch. Which he won. Before Breakdown fled with Starscream and the other cons that had shown up to save him. When Optimus and the others appeared. I'm surprised Megatron allowed Starscream to go rescue Breakdown. The autobots all returned to base safely, Miko and I were then taken home.
