Nahko's POV

It's been nearly a week since Jazz became my new guardian and things are great. He has perfected his new weapon and can't wait to test it on a few cons. He maybe very chill and laid back. But he has a lot stories. He's be telling me a lot about Cybertronian and what it was like before & during the war. Apparently he even new Optimus before he was a Prime, which is cool. We don't really do anything active together, we just find amazing spots to just chill and relax. It's helping me a lot as I am still kind of freaked about turning into a techno-organic. But he just knows how to make me relax and I in turn keep him level headed. Like Bulkhead does Miko. We're the perfect match for guardian and human, just like everyone else with their partners.

Anyway, we're all chilling at base. "Not going to believe this. I've just pinpointed the location of the Decepticon warship" Ratchet announces. We all gather around him surprised. Us kids are on the platform.

"How did you penetrate their cloaking technology?" Optimus asks him.

"I didn't. I was experimenting the variable frequency wavelengths when I stumbled upon it" Ratchet explains honestly. "Even still, their ship must be experiencing some kind of electromagnetic breach" he adds.

"With Megatron deceased and the element of surprise" Arcee says.

"We could cause some serious damage" Bulkhead states.

"Perfect opportunity to test my new weapon" Jazz says looking psyched.

"Also on the same frequency, an autobot emergency beacon" Ratchet tells us pulling an image up on screen beside the decepticon war ship.

"The Decepticons can wait. There may be autobots in distress. Ratchet, bring your medical kit" Optimus orders. He and Ratchet go through the ground bridge together leaving the rest of us at base.

"Man I really wanted to test my sonic boom speakers" Jazz grumbles.

"I'm sure you'll get your chance" I assure him. "Anyway I'm gonna take a nap, I didn't get much sleep last night" I state. I go lay on one of the couches and soon doze off.

(Dream)

I look around confused. I appear to be in some sort of metal plain. Is this Cybertron? "Yes it is" a femenime voice states. I look around confused and see a ball of light floating above me. "Do not fear child, I mean no harm" she tells me.

"Who are you? Why are you in my dream?" I ask her confused.

"I sensed your anger and frustration at what I've done to save you. I wish to appologize, but also remind you of our agreement" she states.

"You're Solus Prime" I say shocked.

"Yes, follow me" she states the light floats away. I follow it. The scene around us changes and I see myself on a hospital bed on life support. "You were dying and your medics could not save you" she tells me. "But you kept fighting, you feared leaving your loved ones behind" she states.

"Sounds like me" I agree nodding my head.

"So I came to you" she tells me. "It took a lot of strength, but I was able to reach your subconscious mind. You thought I was death and had come to claim you. But I told you I could save you, that you could have a long life with your family. But that you wouldn't be the same" she explains.

"And I agreed?" I ask her surprised.

"Not at first, but when you saw Miko crying begging you to come back to her. You did" she tells me. "I didn't expect for the change to happen so quickly, but being around the other Cybertronians and the constant danger your sister likes to put herself in. Has speed up the process of the change" she explains.

"How long?" I ask her.

"I am not a hundred percent sure, could be months, could be years. It seems to have slowed down a little again. But it may speed up again, there are ways it can be speed up" she tells me. "But you should know, we have been watching you" she states.

"Who's we?" I ask her confused.

"The Primes" she answers and the world begins to fade around us. "You are being woken up, good bye Nahko Prime. Know that you are not alone" she tells me.

(End of dream)

I wake to Miko shaking me. "Something's wrong with Optimus" she tells me. I nod stretching pushing away the weird dream for now. Before follow her and others to the med bay. When we arrive, I am shocked by the state Optimus is in. He looks sick, real sick. Ratchet scans him.

"Cybonic plague" he announces. That sounds bad. Hell anything with the word plague in it, is bad. "It's only contagious if contact is made with the infected Energon" he explains.

"What was a plague doing in an autobot spaceship?" Miko asks.

"Its passengers were infected. The virus wiped out millions on Cybertron during the great war" Arcee states.

"Cybonic plague was engineered in the Decepticons' biological-warfare program by Megatron himself" Ratchet explains.

"You... Have a cure, don't you?" Raf asks him.

"No, cure" Optimus answers weakly.

"Optimus, please, save your strength" Ratchet tells him.

"Would Megatron create a disease without having a cure? I mean, what if he caught it by accident?" Jack asks.

"Jack makes a good point" I agree.

"It's not like we can ask Megatron Nahko, Jack. He's pushing up lug nuts" Bulkhead tells us.

"But we might be able to access the Decepticon database" Ratchet states. "For the moment,
we still have a fix on their warship's location" he reminds us.

"Arcee, Bumblebee with me" Jazz orders heading for the bridge.

"Jazz, quickly" Ratchet tells him. Jazz nods and looks at Optimus.

"Hang in there boss bot" he says and leaves with the other two.

"Ratchet, could this affect me too?" I ask him.

"Yes, so best keep your distance" he tells me.

"Why'd it affect you?" Jack asks me confused.

"Because she's part autobot" Miko states. "Opps, sorry" she says covering her mouth.

"They would have found out eventually. Apparently the shard inside me had CNA of some dead Cybertronian and it's been changing my DNA. Turning me into what Ratchet calls, a techno-organic" I tell the boys. "Still no idea what that means yet? Just taking it one day at a time" I state. "Right now we need to focus on Optimus" I add and they agree.

(Time skip)

So Arcee found no cure in the decepticon database. But she and the other two did find Megatron on life support. With brainwave activity. It was decided someone had to go in to his mind to look for the cure. Bee volunteered to go. Leaving Arcee and Jazz to watch over him while he was not able to fight. Ratchet talked Arcee through how to do a cortical psychic patch.

"Ratchet, we're ready" Arcee states.

"Initiate cortical psychic patch" he tells her. She does so and an image appears on screen. "Communications down-link activated. This will allow us to see and hear everything Bumblebee does while within Megatron's subconscious mind" he explains. Things were going well, until Bee found Megatron. And began to make him self aware and the fact that Starscream has entered the lab with Soundwave & Knockout. Trying to convince Soundwave to turn off Megatron's life support. While Optimus gets weaker.

"Bumblebee, we are out of time!" Ratchet states. Bee buzzes.

"Cybonic plague? Someone besides myself is... Is unwell?? Megatron asks. Bee nods his head buzzing. "Optimus! Such irony! But after ages of endless battle, the mighty Optimus Prime is felled by a simple virus from the distant past" he says gleefully. "And what makes you think
I would save the life of my oldest enemy?" he asks Bee.

Another fake Optimus appears and Megatron blasts it with his cannon. Bee buzzes at him. "And just what is it that I want most, scout?" he asks.

"To destroy Optimus" Bee buzzes.

"Did you not see? I do slay Optimus by my own hand, at will, whenever I desire" Megatron tells him.

"But if you let the plague take the real Optimus, you'll never have your chance to kill him" Bee buzzes. Raf translated that to the other two. It's actually quiet a smart ploy. It worked and Megatron shows Bee the formula. Ratchet got a photo of it before it vanished, he told Arcee to disconnect Bumblebee while Bulkhead activates the ground bridge. Arcee, Jazz ad Bumblebee make it back to base safely.

Ratchet was able to make the cure for Optimus, who is on the mend. Jazz goto test his new sonic speakers on Soundwave, Starscream and Knockout. While Arcee tried to finish off Megatron, but doesn't know if she succeeded. But we are all very happy to Optimus is alive and well. Jazz and I took Raf home as Ratchet wanted to give Bee a check up after his exploration in Megatron's mind and ensure he is ok physically.
