(Authors note:: hello again I haven't had an epiphany yet this week so this little note should be short anyway like always I don't own Transformers Prime or the Transformers franchise period Hasbro does nor do I own the Orion Pax story arc so that's the disclaimer as disappointing as it may be T~T. I woke up the next morning curled up in Orion's Hand I yawned and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. Orion was still fast asleep and he was murmuring something about ribbons and glitter . I looked at my clock and jumped up it was almost 6:30 in the morning! no! I'm gonna miss it I can't miss it ! I jumped off of Orion's bed and made my way to the door as it slid open Orion sat up fast saying

" It was an accident!!" it took him a second to register where he was he looked around confused for a few momments. he rubbed his optics and looked around for a second then his optics landed on me " Annabeth? Is something wrong?" he asked

:: No not yet anyway:: I paused for a second remembering Orion had been on  Earth for a very short time:: hey Orion have you ever seen a sunrise before?::

" No, why ?" he asked eyebrow raised

:: come on you'll see:: he threw his legs off the side of the bed and stood.

" Annabeth you do realize that it's approximately 6:30 in the morning correct?"

:: yep and we're already late come on if we don't hurry we'll miss it !::

" very well , but where are we going exactly?"

:: outside the ship. I think it's called the flight deck :: he nodded and began walking toward the door

" very well come along then if you wish to see this 'Sun Rise' then by all means let us be on our way" I smiled triumphantly as he offered his hand and I jumped on.

:: you won't regret this Orion I promise, it's worth a few minutes of sleep:: he nodded and walked out the door and into the hall way . We found the flight deck bay doors with no problem they weren't even locked they slid open and Orion stepped through and looked around.

" Annabeth what is it exactly that I am supposed to be looking at?" he asked

:: hold your horses big guy and I'll show you. now take a seat and watch:: he sat down on the ground and looked at me for further instruction. :: now just watch the sky:: he looked forward and as the dark sky began to twinge with bright pinks, oranges, lightish reds, and dark and light blues. His optics widened in awe at the sight of the great red orb that was the sun began to rise in the sky.

" you are correct Annabeth. this is certainly worth a few breems of recharge, but tell me why does it do that?"

:: I wish I could tell you big guy some scientists say it all has to do with the atmosphere, it is one of the most beautiful sights ever no matter where your from. Some Philosophers say it's a symbol for new begins as it happens at the beginning of a new day, but I think that it's just another way God shows us how much he loves us Because he paints us a new picture every morning and night because no one sun rise or sun set are the same::

" I see. Annabeth tell me who taught you about these things? you seem to know so much about this world yet you remember so little of your life in it"

:: it is a fair question Orion all I know was taught to me by the ones who took me in. the ones who gave me a home they did so much for me. they took me to church gave me a name. They taught me so much especially Lucy she was one of my best friends she taught me how to read and write again, most of what I know I learned from the books she taught me from. I loved to learn new thing and they loved to teach me. Sam taught me how to defend myself and move silently trough the forest and how to wield a number of different weapons and tools he also taught me how to fix machinery, an little Jas he taught me the smallest package can hold the heart of a Lion that kid had more courage than any man could dream of having:: I smiled

" you miss them a great deal don't you?"

:: yeah I do but their safer away from me. the king is probably still looking for me::

" and why is that? Did you do something wrong?"

:: No I didn't the king is a terrible ruler he condones the mistreatment of his people. due to his greed and selfishness the people were suffering. The reason I got into trouble with him was because I stopped one of his men from beating a poor old man to death, but I couldn't just stand by and do nothing. After that I actively acted out against his tyranny i couldn't take it anymore. It wasn't my best idea I'll admit that but I was just sick of people dying from lack of action. , shortly after that the king sent soldiers after me naturally I ran and soon he put a price on my head. Then everyone was after me either from pure belief of the lies he told or simply the need to feed their families. I don't know why but they began calling me off worlder. It wasn't just one or two groups who chased me either there were multiple groups of people trying to collect the price on my head. actually I was running away from a mob when I stumbled upon the green swirling portal that landed me here on the Nemesis. Not that I'm complaining::

" I see and do you regret your decision"

:: not for a second. shortly after I began my campaign against his majesty others fallowed. they all stood up for themselves and soon they will be free from his tyrannical rule. Many will fall but in the end they will be free and be able to live their lives without fear. and as for me I got to meet you and help my friends stand up for what they believe in win win situation::

" I see I believe you acted justly though you could have gone about it in another way you did what you thought was right and it proved to be the correct decision though violence wasn't the best course of action"

:: I know that now but either waythere is little I can do to change it . so what about you Orion what did you do before before you went into stasis?::

" I was an archivist in the Iocon hall of records"

:: so you were a librarian? that sounds like a fun job. you get to read all the books you want::

" yes, we were allowed to read a great deal of the data pads we stored the hall"

:: so if you were a librarian what was Lord Megatron? he doesn't seem to be....... one whom you might find in a library ::

" he was a gladiator. in the pits of Kaon before I went into stasis."

:: so how did you two meet?::

" back in those days I had begun to become more and more aware of the unrest amongst the populous due to the caste system. I heard one of Megatronous's speeches and was inspired. we began corresponding after that and soon became good friends. We began a petition so we could get an audience with high council but I fear that is all I remember" I nodded in understanding and looked up at the sky. The cloud were beginning to look heavy with rain and looked as though the bottom would soon fall out.

::I think we should head back:: he looked up at the sky and nodded as he rose to his feet

" I believe that to be a wise decision" he began walking to the door.

:: I meant to ask you earlier. what exactly happened with the Ribbon and Glitter?:: his face turned blue

" I would rather not speak of that particular incident." twinges of blue came into his face.

:: it can't be that bad :: he looked away obviously embarrassed.

"I wonder if anyone is looking for us?" he asked as he looked back at me.That was a good question I looked at my watch it was about seven maybe seven fifteen. most if not all the bots on the ship would be up by now or are getting up by now it is quite possible for someone to have come looking for us while we were watching the sunrise. Wait a minute did Orion just change the subject?! Oh! Well played Orion you win this round. Still I have to wonder did anyone come looking for us and if so who?

(Megatron pov)

" It seems we have successfully achieved control of Orion's spark. now to put his mind to work" i heard the door open and I turned and saw Soundwave " have you sanitized the data core" he nodded his reply " excellent our new archivist will need unlimited access to our files. it would be counter productive for him to stumble upon any sensitive information" he nodded " Oh and Soundwave be sure to monitor every iota of our new archivists invaluable research as well as the young human's interactions" Soundwave nodded and left as I began to make my way to Orion's quarters. Orion Pax would begin work on project Iocon immediately and I had a plan for his new little pet as well both would be of great value to the decepticon cause but the young human would need to be watched as would Orion if either one became aware of my current deception everything I have worked for would be gone. I turned the corner to Orion's room. It was located in direct proximity of the energon storage vault so that i could monitor his comings and goings without his knowledge I am so clever. i  went inside to find he was not there! how is this possible!!! What if ? no he couldn't have! i barreled out of his quarters only to ram right into another mech. I fell to the ground my helm pounding from the impact. i heard the other mech fall to the floor and groan; serves him right for getting in my way. I shook my helm to clear it and looked up to see the mech i had run into was none other than Orion and his pet. Orion was sprawled out groaning and his pet was in his hand sprawled out twitching slightly. " Orion are you alright?" i asked  he sat up

" I am fine Lord Megatron." he looked down at the young human" Annabeth are you alright?" the young human raised it's right arm and gave a 'thumbs up' as they call it and sat up quickly rubbing it's head.

(AB pov)

My head was pounding i rubbed my head and lowered my arm. I looked up at Lord Megatron and waved he didn't look happy. I looked behind him to see the door to Orion's room open. oh great someone had been looking for us that's perfect way to jinx us Orion. He offered a hand to Orion and Orion took it and used it to help him stand.

" Orion would you mind telling me where you were?" asked Lord Megatron an edge in his voice.

" Lord Megatron there is no reason to worry Annabeth and I were simply watching the Sun rise from the flight deck " replied Orion.

" I see." he paused for a second obviously  in thought "come Orion we have much to discuss and bring the child" he began to walk back to Orion's quarters. I looked at Orion as he began to fallow Lord Megatron.

:: Are we in trouble?::

" I do not believe so" he replied as we fallowed Lord Megatron back into Orion's quarters.

:: Do you know what he wants to talk to us about?::

" I have no indication as to what he could possibly have to discuss with us" Lord Megatron stopped next to the terminal and waited for Orion to join him. Orion came and stood beside him facing the Terminal. Lord Megatron looked at each of us and to explain why he was there.

" During the war for Cybertron the Autobots used the Iocon hall of records  as a base of operations and  during the waning days of the war we stormed the hall and we acquired files. Files encrypted with Autobot codes that we have been unable to decipher. Orion I believe you can decipher these codes. you were and still are the best Archivist the hall ever produced." 

" thank you Lord Megatron I will do what I can ,but I fear I am a bit rusty" replied Orion  

" That is all I can ask old friend" he looked at me and continued " and as for you I have an assignment for you as well" I nodded and he continued " the Autobots have recently acquired human allies. They are young but have proven to be quite formidable. I would ask you to keep an eye on them and see if you can discover what the Autobots have in store for us." I smirked, and saluted " good you will be attending their school from here on out. I expect you to report any and all of your findings to Orion, Soundwave, or Myself is that understood?" I nodded and frowned not exactly happy about going back to school.  

:: you can count on me sir:: he looked at me surprised for a second then shook his head and turned to leave  

" I will send over the information reguarding the ones you are to observe shortly and the files reguarding Project Iocon as well" he walked out the door and left . I looked at Orion and he looked at me  

:: what do you think the Files hold?::  

" I do not know my young friend but i will do what ever it takes to ensure that they never fall into the hands of those who would bring  harm to your race or this planet"  

:: thank you Orion I will do my part as well, but i can't help but wonder. what kind of humans would willingly serve the very being that wish to destroy them?::  

"  perhaps the Autobots deceived  them into believing that the Decepticons are the aggressors " he replied. I nodded this day had just got a whole lot more interesting. I wonder who it is we're dealing with here. no doubt a bunch of low lifes only the lowest of the low would  willingly serve being like the Autobots. i shouldn't be so condemning though   self preservation may have had more to do with it, or perhaps the Autobots threatened their families it wouldn't surprise me after hearing all the horrible things they did on cybertron. Perhaps Orion is correct all the same it doesn't make this any less troubling .  I guess I'll just have to wait and see what it is we're dealing with here.

:: Perhaps you are correct Orion I suppose we will just have to wait and see:: he nodded

" Indeed this day has certainly yielded a great many questions"

:: And it's still early:: he smirked and i smiled. At least Orion was here he always seems to have a way of making a situation seem not near as bleak or hopeless as it had originally been just being around him made you feel like you could conquer any challenge that laid ahead of you and I know as long as Orion has my back everythings going to be alright but what exactly are we supposed to do while we wait for them to bring the files? Oh! i know :: hey Orion have you ever played checkers?::

" I do not believe so why do you ask" he replied

:: Well, we have to do something besides sit here all day so I figured we might as well play a game::

" I see so how does one play checkers?" he asked

:: let me find my bag and I'll show you:: I found my bag on Orion's bed he picked it up and handed it to me. I rumages around until i found my data pad and clicked on the app for internet checkers. :: ok so now all you have to do is search for a wifi signal and connect to my data pad and we can play:: he paused for a second and i saw a light come on that said there was another player and the game started  :: alright Orion this is how you play your the red pieces and i'm the blue pieces the point of the game is to capture all the pieces that are not your color. the way you capture them is by jumping them as long as there is a space in between the pieces they can't be jumped but if they are side by side and nothing is behind them you can jump them like so:: i showed him how to play and he nodded along after I would explain how to do one thing and how to avoid another until i covered all the rules i could think of. :: I believe that's everything any questions?::

" No." he replied

:: alright then let's begin you go first::
