                                                                              Truth and Deception

A lie and the truth. Night and Day. Yang and Yin. Decepticon and Autobot. All these things have one thing in common. Each one is the others opposite. While in this dream world I have found time and time again that what I believed to be true is nothing more than yet another fabrication of either my mind or a far worse evil and all these revelations have done is proved once again that I am a resounding fool. I knew when I came to this place that something was wrong that something about this place was off and I ignored it. A folly I fear will soon prove fatal for both myself and perhaps even Orion. My only consolation concerning my current situation is that I may have finally discovered how I might have arrived to my current predicament or at least the conditions of it.

My recent revelations due to that of my younger self 116 whom had only gotten progressively worse as time has moved on. She had been a total of three days without her medication as she calls it and has transitioned from a babbling idiot to a scared child. Her words are slurred or stuttered at best and she's curled into a ball shaking. It was reminiscent of when someone back in the refugee house was detoxing in the infirmary after the long use of extreme pain medication but much much more severe. Siege did his best to comfort her but 116 didn't respond to him with any coherent word or expression. She just stared into space shuddering every now and again completely dead to the world.

That it is until the fifth day. She was far more alert. She was sitting up and talking with Siege when he asked her questions but she was still jumpy, like something bad was going to happen. The good news was the slurring and shaking was almost gone. It still took her a few minutes to say one sentence that would normally take a few seconds, but it was progress none the less.

"Are ye alright?" asked Siege gazing down at the young girl.

"Y-y-yeah....I-I-I'm f-f-fine!" she replied

"Don't lie lass tell me what's wrong." He replied

"U-u-unless y-y-you c-c-can s-s-somehow f-f-figure o-o-out h-h-how t-to m-m-make a s-s-substitute f-f-for"

"For yer medicine..." he asked to which she simply nodded " do ye know what's in it" "n-no" she replied " m-Master s-says it's t-top s-se-secret."

"I see is there anything else?" he asked " I could call for some help. The ships communication array are shot..... I don't suppose ye have a comm link or something I could use to get help do ye?" 116 Shook her head with a prominent frown on her face.

"Well then lass let's suppose ye did have a comm? Do ye don't know the codes." She nodded her head..

"Then what's say we make one lass?" he asked with a smile

"B-build?" she asked a sudden look of hope on her face.

"What do ye say lass?" he asked holding out his hand for her to climb on, which 116 did as quickly as she could in her condition. From there on Siege and 116 worked on the comm link and within a few days it was complete! "What do ye think lass?" he asked and 116 smiled at him like a kid on Christmas morning as she looked in the reflection of a mirror admiring the glasses she wore on her face. It took a moment for me to realize exactly what I was seeing but when I did it was unbelievable! I had just watched them assemble my Glasses the whole shebang! Sure they were obviously a prototype of the pair I was wearing today but still!

" I'm glad ye like them lass now let's try them out" replied Siege.

"R-Right!" she exclaimed placing a finger on the side of the glasses and saying "Al-Alpha t-to 116 d-do y-you read me?

" One-Sixteen?!!!!!!!!? Is that you?!!! we were so worried! Mostly one-fifteen but still! " exclaimed a voice on the other end

" Where the heck are you?! And why aren't you here yet?!" called another.

" If you ditched us I swear regardless of how One-Fifteen feels I'm going to kill you!" chimed another

"Silence both of you." Stated another "One-one Six what is your current situation? Status included. And don't you dare beat around the bush just because it's a public channel."

" Pr-protocol 6-7-3"

" 1, 2, or 3" asked the same voice.

" 1" she replied

"Self induced or forced?"

" F-force."

" Who could force 116 off her meds?" mumble one.

" no idea must have been someone pretty tuff..." mumbled another.

" hush both of you!" exclaimed the other " how long?"

" 8 D-days" she replied only to be met with silence. " two-seventyfive?"

" We're coming. Don't move and keep you're comm open I can't find you without it. 275 out." Replied the other as the comm. went silent.

"Are they coming?" asked siege. 116 nodded breathing a short sigh of relief. "at least we got one problem solved" he sighed running his servo over his face plate. 116 only nodded and leaned her head back against the wall.

It was around this time where Siege began to get bored he was trying to keep himself busy but really there isn't much he could do aside from sit and just think. "I don't suppose ye would feel up fer listening to an old bot talk would ye lass?" he asked. 116 shook her head and placed the glasses on her head to show she was listening. And thus began a series of war stories. Ranging from the battles he and his wrecker buddies fought in to how he ended up on the ship. Apparently the energon was just a cover for what they were really suppose to be transporting but he said he still didn't know what it actually was. He had assumed it had been a weapon from the way the captain and the other guards had been acting, but that didn't stay on the subject long for you see the longer he talked the more curious 116 and myself got. Soon she began to ask question bringing about more and more storied of grandeur. Some of them were obviously fisherman's tales and then others weren't but the one story that really caught my attention was the beginning of the war and what brought it about.

From what Siege said it happened because of the castle system on Cybertron and it began because of Megatron and Orion. Megatron began the movement to change the system and Orion joined him to make a fair and equal system for all Cybertronians. But at some point that goal took the back seat to Megatron's dream of becoming the next prime and when they went to the council it showed. So, Orion took Megatron's place before the council in a last ditch effort to try and save their argument and basically for lack of better words wowed them! He moved their minds and sparks with his words and earned their favor and the jealousy of Megatron on the same day resulting in what would be the beginning of a very long war. This was the exact opposite of what Megatron had told Orion and myself. However, what really bothered me is that if this was true everything Megatron's done up until now makes perfect sense! He wants to use Orion to unlock secrets and weapons that other wise would never have been touched by someone like the Decepticons! I have to tell Orion! I have to wake up! I have to get Orion to stop decoding the records! I have to do something to help! To make sure Megatron never gets his hands on those weapons!

Orion had had been driving forever looking for his charge. She was completely lost no comm. no anything! And to say Orion was beyond worried was an understatement! And even now he was doing his best but there wasn't much he could do unless he used his halo form which would be ok if it wasn't raining. But alas it was and our dear hero was at a loss on what to do so he did what was necessary he drove into the park and began to search inside. (au: I feel like this would be hilarious watching Orion standing above like a bunch of trees being like where'd he go? With little question marks lol idk )

( meanwhile in the land of dreams the fairy gum princess was being kidnapped )

Time passed. On and on it went and the slower it seemed to go. 116 was barely conscious and Siege too was on the verge of recharge and there I was.. sitting...watching in the middle of semi-panic attack as I came to terms with everything I knew being a lie. What was I supposed to think? what to do? I mean really what could I say what more could I think. the situation was improbably at best I had no way out no way of calling for help and by the powers above no chance of escape. For how does one escape ones' self? You don't. That was the sad truth. At this point I was certain I was lost within my own mind never again to wake. But again a thought occurred to me. If I am in my own mind viewing my own memories is it possible to perhaps see more? Go back farther? See where I come from?

It was only a thought of course but not a possibility I wasn't willing to simply let go regardless of it's improbability. Truth be told the thought frightened me. What would I find if I did look? Would it make me want to forget? Did I choose this life? How did all this happen?

Again self?! Honestly let it go! Release this blasted notion of going back! We left this life behind us! We chose this no one forced us!

"That is untrue we didn't have a choice. The choice was taken from us when master!...deep breathe...just forget it. Come on focus...focus...focus on the task at hand...all else fades concentration is paramount. Focus on getting out.... worry later.

(Op 3rd )

He had finally done it! In the bottom of an oak tree of all places he had found his charge. Cold wet and unconscious but alive and that was what was important. Out of all this that was the most important. That she was alive and well and he wouldn't lose anyone else....

Transforming Orion placed Annabeth in the passenger seat, buckled her up and turned up the heat to as high as it would go before turning back onto the road and doing his best to get a ground bridge back to the Nemesis. All in all not bad for one nights work.

Ab pov)

The first thing I knew was that I was warm and that I was safe. Not a bad thing to wake up to. Wake up? Huh I guess I'm finally awake... maybe... honestly I can hardly tell the difference anymore. Opening my eyes I looked up to see Orion at his computer working tirelessly on the records as usual.

When did I get back? Wasn't I under a tree? It wasn't all a dream was it? no it couldn't have been could it? was it all just another lie? What is the truth? what is the lie? No it couldn't of just been a dream! There was no way! I have to tell Orion what happened I have to get proof and I have to be brave. And the only way to do any of that is to find the truth in the deception.
