The clouds swirled around her, the wind was rushing past her as Silent Shadow enjoyed the wonderful feelings that came with the ability to fly. She spiralled out of the clouds, the distant buildings of Nevada coming over the horizon welcoming her as she continued to fly towards the coordinates. Nearing the site, Silent Shadow slowed, gently coming down in the closest canyon.

Alright, focus... I want to blend with the shadows and since I can move this time it shouldn't be a problem.

Silent Shadow hovered over the ground, focusing her attention towards the download meter that flashed on the screen.

97%...98%...99%

Silent Shadow ex-vented, and phased to her beast mode. Landing on the solid ground of the canyon, Silent Shadow slowly took in her surroundings.

Okay... Celestia's sun is to the west as it is nearing nightfall, so the military base should be a good mile east but that cliff is in the way so 3 miles...

Commencing the hike towards the military base Silent Shadow silently maneuvers through the rocks.

What's that?

Silent Shadow spots a shortcut through a small cavern.

That is not on my little list of shortcuts, but it is now.

Taking advantage of the time save, she squeezes into the tunnel.

Finally...

Silent Shadow exited the tunnel, the shortcut had proven successful and the military base laid just beyond the cliff in the flat desert that surrounds Nevada.

Stretching her giant wings, Silent Shadow glided down the side of the slope and landed silently at the bottom. She commenced trotting, careful to stay aware of her surroundings as the sand swirled around her.

"H47en to Decepticon base, requesting ground bridge. Unit secured and Autobots in pursuit."

Four vehicons stood firing at the incoming Autobots, though Silent Shadow was neutral, she still had the same instinct as her predecessors to protect those below her, but she thought of them as equals.
Slowing down, she was glad she came around the back, hence the fight was on the other side of the base and she, as well as her ever growing haven, would no doubt be uncovered if she was seen.

This fight should be short... I know the Guardianos turned their attention towards protecting the matrix, but what about Megatronus? And Soundwave? Those Vehicons have something he wants and I don't know if I should give it to him...
What are you doing? Seriously, what happened to protect and ask questions later?

Silent Shadow leaped out from her spot where she had stopped by the wall and proceeded to phase into the ground. she could bear the sting of the dirt, but phasing through Energon would be asking for disintegration.
She plowed through the dirt and stopping to check what was going on, she saw a Vehicon protecting the other three, firing shots as they carried a generator through a ground bridge.

Well, that looks like it's under control...
Ohh, too soon...

Behind Silent Shadow a yellow vehicle was racing towards her,

Why didn't Rainstorm warn me? Oh wait, he's probably busy being a...

Silent Shadow started to drop back into the floor, but as her helm successfully phased back her left shoulder plate did not and the impact caused an unwanted gash to dig past the protective metal that would normally stand strong.

Ow!

.: "Thunder Claw, you there?":. Faery said through the comm.

"yep, what do you need?"

"Wyvern and I have the Energon, please tell me the ground bridge is warmed up..."
Faery's voice sounded hurried and Thunder Claw was glad she wasted the extra minutes preparing the bridge for something like this.

"Of course I do, wouldn't want you to be stranded with Decepticons on your tail."

"Don't even remind me of that time..."

"3...2...1... Alright."

The giant green wormhole opened, Feary practically jumped through the bridge, a handful of Energon shards glided across the base floor, and Wyvern halts upon arrival, cubes piled in his intake orifice. Both were exhausted and their optics remain unfocused for a while.

"let me guess... Success?" Thunder Claw barely kept back her laughter as she lept from the platform, Peanut following close.

Faery spat out the one shard from her mouth,
"They almost saw us!" she struggled to stand as a whole cube appeared from under her chassis.

"Almost is the keyword." Thunder Claw smirked.

I love my jokes

"You know what I mean..." Feary trailed off, leading Wyvern over to their nearly empty Energon storage compartment and started unloading the cubes from Wyvern's intake, cautious of the sharp dentas that lined his jaw.

"Well I'm going to take a break, I'll be back." Thunder Claw clapped her servos together and pivoted towards the berth room, careful to not trip over Peanut as he trotted around her legs.

Stupid stupid stupid!!!

Silent Shadow slowly made her way back, since the injury had been acquired mid phasing, she couldn't risk tearing up the rest of her shoulder plate by transforming.
The sunset shunned across the horizon it's warmth welcoming and pleasant. Silent Shadow missed this feeling of being alone walking towards something out of her reach. It was something she used to do frequently, but the Dawning Warriors had taken those small liberties away.

"I have forgotten this..."

Celestial's sun is absolutely beautiful at this time, I wish Megatronus could see this.

Silent Shadow smiled, the thought had almost made her chuckle, she knew Megatronus was out to steal this planet of its wonders...

But I can't let you go.

And my secret.
