"Are you sure you're alright to move?" Ratchet questioned again, noticed her solemn expression. Nova nodded, placing her hand over her chest gently. "Ratchet, I promise."

Nova was riding with Ratchet because he knows that she's still too weak to fly yet due to her energy drained. She may not recovered but she can still fight. He opened up his comlink, talking to both Nova and to everyone else. "The Omega lock's control station is located on the lower deck. I am making my way there now."

"Copy Ratchet." Optimus replied. "We will rendezvous at the objective. Arcee, lead stealth team to secure the Omega Lock. Ultra Magnus, you and the wreckers Storm the bridge. Prevent the Decepticons from targeting the device if stealth team is delayed."

Nova sighed and asked, "You didn't tell him, right Ratchet?"

Ratchet hummed to acknowledge her question since he couldn't nod. "Yes. I haven't told him what happened yet, I leave that to you. But I did tell him you were okay and were with me."

Nova relaxed in her seat, nodding softly. "That's good. Because I don't want to hear the end of it from him."

As they arrived, Ratchet transformed, gently setting Nova on the ground. "I can hear some more drones. Stay here." He quickly rounded the corner, taking care of them all.

She peeked around the corner, watching in appreciation of seeing Ratchet in action. "Woo, Ratchet," She mumbled softly. When the coast was clear Ratchet carried her to the control station's doors. He sat her down, nodding at her. "I know. Be quiet, stay out of sight."

Ratchet nodded, walking inside. He used his legs to hide her from view, letting her hide behind a huge energon tank. "Shut it down, Shockwave. I cannot allow you to harm Earth."

Shockwave turned to him, "The planet will not be harmed, only its indigenous life-forms."

Ratchet glared at him. "You're not hurting another human on my watch!" He yelled before attacking the 'con.

Nova winced at how Shockwave tossed Ratchet into another tank. She breathed in slowly before creeping along the walls of the room, heading for the control panel. If she could shut the thing down while Shockwave was occupied..

The control center beeped, signaling an incoming message. Shockwave ignored the fallen Ratchet, speaking to Megatron. "Lord Megatron, the Omega lock is fueled and ready."

When the floor in the middle of the room opened up, it revealed Optimus waiting. He quickly began firing at Shockwave. At least until Megatron found him again, tackling him.

"Shockwave, commence Omega lock firing sequence."

Nova groaned softly as she watched the energon slowly leaking down to fuel the Omega Lock. She could already feel her body tingling. "Scrap.."

"Shockwave, prepare to fire the---"

Nova gasped as the ship tilted. She quickly would have slipped through the hole in the floor if Ratchet hadn't grabbed her. "Whoa."

Ratchet quickly pushed her to an energon tank so she could hang on. He groaned as he slowly began to get up himself, holding on to one as well. "Someone's taken control of the ship.."

Nova groaned. "With bad driving skills." She looked over to see Smokescreen carrying the Star Saber. "Smokescreen?!"

Smokescreen was ready to toss the sword to Optimus, "Optimus! Catch!" But this meant he didn't see Shockwave firing at him.

Nova called out again, holding onto her chest from the pain. "Duck!"

Smokescreen did duck but the sword fell to the ground as he did, sliding away from him. "Whoah, close one!"

Nova looked over to see Bumblebee kick the last two vehicons away from him, running to where the sword was. He hadn't seen her yet. Arcee, Smokescreen, Starscream, and Shockwave were running for it as well. Arcee managed to take down Starscream with Smokescreen. Bumblebee managed to toss the sword up, punching Shockwave in the optic, and caught the sword in mid leap. She watched as Bumblebee dropped down to where the Optimus was, with the sword. She turned her attention, slowly jogging over to the control panel. The moment she saw the Star Saber with Bumblee, it made realize that her vision are coming true. She knew the last battle is drawing near and the fact that Bumblebee will perished by Megatron will come true.

'No, I let my dream happened before....I'm not doing it again.'

She cringed at her weak body for a minute before spreading her wings and fly towards to where Bumblebee is without being seen. Ratchet called out to Optimus, "Optimus, you must use the Saber to destroy the Omega lock. It is the only way to save Earth!"

Bumblebee was halfway down by then, calling out to Optimus. "Optimus! I have the Star Saber!" He jumped across the void, heaving the sword above his head, to meet Optimus and deliver it. The problem was, Megatron was with Optimus. Megatron beheld knocking Optimus back as he raised his cannon at Bumblebee who leapt out towards the two to the reach the lower platform...

Mid-air...

And without a means of stopping or performing any manoeuvre...

Megatron fired three shots...three shots...

All looked in horror to the projectiles as they came into alignment with Bees range Optimus shoved Megatron to one side as he was about to shot until a sphere of light appeared in behind Bumblebee until he felt a pushed. He whirled in shock to see it was Nova, in her Titan Mode who manage to came on time. She managed to save him however she didn't have time to put up a shield as each shots hit the her directly in the chest plates. BumbleBee and Optimus watched as their optics widened, and as the blasts ate away at her spark.

Bumblebee made it to the other side with the Star Saber which was farther from Optimus and Megatron. Time seems to slow down as everyone, watch Nova fall into the pool. Her duo optics flickering when she still see Bumblebee alive as she let out a weak smile in relief. Before her body sank into the Cyber matter of the Omega Lock, her optics offline as was her spark.

In Between (don't know what to describe when you had near-death experience)

Nova (in her human form), slowly opened her eyes to see a light above her and noticed that her body was falling as if she was sinking down underwater.

'Where am I? I can't see a thing. I can't feel a thing. Am I dead?' Nova wondered aloud. That's when she remembered before closing her eyes, 'Oh yeah....I saved Bumblebee. I must have took the fall for him. How sad......Oh well, At least....I was able to prevent this.' She said sadly in relief.

Nova felt her body going deeper and deeper where she can no longer see it. 'I guess this is the end for me.' as she was about to welcome herself into the darkness until a voice called out to her.

'No....It's not. Your time is not done yet.'

Nova slowly opened her eyes, startled by the voice except it sounded like multiple voices around her. It didn't sound like Primus at all, in fact it sounded just like back on Cybertron where they searched for the vector sigma.

"You will not fade away.....You are still needed....."

'But I...."

"Can you hear them? The voices....."

Nova closed her eyes as she began to hear voices of her teammates fighting, Jack and Miko (in her Apex armor), Agent Fowler and Raf along with Campy, staring at the computers, praying for their success and lastly Optimus who is battling Megatron for her.

"Your teammates.....The Prime......your friends.....they need you."

With that push, it gave Nova the determination to move her body as she placed her hand on her chest. 'I can hear it.....My friends......I'm not dead yet......I have to go back....to where my friends are....... they need me.' the crest in her right hand began to glow brightly. As sphere of light appeared before her.

"We'll help you then....." a voice spoke which startled Nova.

That's when it began to brighten around her, eating away the darkness. Nova noticed the multiple lights appeared all around her. Then, a sphere of blue light suddenly came out of Nova's chest as multiple lights gathered within the sphere. It's almost as if she awakened her new power somehow. She watched as the sphere began to take form of a staff. It was so bright that she couldn't see what it was.

"Use it....to end the war. Save us all......Herald of Primus."

Her right arm which had a crest, moved on it's own as she began to reached out to the glowing staff. The moment her hand made contact to the metal surface before everything went white.

Back in the reality

All bots, were so encased in this unfolding tragedy didn't even care that they were in locked combat, and just stared out in shock. Bumblebee knelt on the ground with the Star Saber beside him, still devasted about Nova who sacrificed her life to save him.

Optimus looked to Megatron as the tyrant merely grinned untouched by this. In a moment of this, Optimus heaved himself as he set himself on only one being, "Nooooo!" he cried with a strong hit to Megatron face, left, right, left upper cut with his leg knocking Megatron backwards out of balance, another hit was made to his face with a fist and then finally another straight dead center to his face forcing Megatron to propel backwards.

He hit the metallic structure extension of the Omega Lock as he groaned falling to his knees, then onto his front, his arms spread either side of him. Looking up he noticed the hilt of the Dark Star Saber and his confidence had returned. Approaching from behind Optimus deployed a weapon aiming it at the fallen Decepticon leader, though during the process of charging Megatron cried out as he threw a wave of Dark Energon towards him throwing him over the edge which snapped out of Bumblebee.

Bumbleebee saw Optimus clinging over the edge as he watched Megatron walking over to the edge and looks down at Optimus. He was so focused on the two that he didn't notice the Cybermatter began to glow as it shimmered bright blue for a second. Megatron holds his blade above his head ready to strike and says, "Prepare to join her in the AllSpark."

Bumblebee glared at Megatron as he was about to grabbed the Star Saber to stop him when he noticed something. Someone emerge from the pool as the glowing figure looked up and lunged forward with all its might. Whose fierce optics were glowing white instead of the usual.

"Megatron!"

In turning it was already too late as Megatron made a hoarse sound with the combination of breaking metal sourced from his chassis. A look of denial was in his optics as he groaned deathly to acknowledge that he was stabbed but in shape of a saber except the handle is different. Nova, whose deep fatal wound sealed up, above, Con and Bot alike were lost for words as they bared witness Nova's return from the bridge.

"You took my spark.....You hurt my friends and my family....." Nova said in a dark, dangerous tone as she held onto her strange weapon. "For the sake of Earth and Cybertron.....You will never rob anyone's life, ever again."

Megatron went to swing his sword at her, but lost any remaining energy he had. The sword fell, falling off and to Earth below them. Megatron grunted as he fell to his knees, weakly grabs the sword in his chest...but there is no way he has the strength to lift it out.

Starscream falls to his knees and exclaims,"Lord Megatron...no!"

His chest was emanating a purple glow that dimmed and finally with it being his last look to Herald before him as his Optics darkened and his systems shut down completely. Nova watched Megatron tumbled over the edge, falling into earth's atmosphere.

Nova stared over the edge where Megatron had fallen as her blade shift back into a strange staff. She had slain Megatron and she made sure that he would never harm her family ever again. Though deep down, she couldn't help but feel the smallest amounts of sorrow that she had to do it.

Starscream shouted before Shockwave held him back, "I will avenge you master!"

"Starscream, do not be a fool!" he told him as Starscream resisted the restraint he had on him though Shockwave was forced to instead carry him under one arm as he and three seekers retreated back into the ship.

"Curse you and your logic!" Starscream cried.

Bumblebee helped Optimus up before turning to Nova who is still standing there, his eyes full of concern and shock. Optimus called, "Nova?"

Nova whirled around and saw Optimus and Bumblebee staring at her. She felt a bit awkward when she realized that they did witness her being killed. "Uh....Hey, Um I know it's weird...." She started until she was interrupted by OPtimus rushed to her, placing his arms around her, closed to his chasis.

Nova felt a tremendous relief from their bond as Optimus looked at her and said, "You had me scared, Little One?"

She chuckled, "Ehehe Sorry I made you worry.....but you can't get rid of me that easily." releasing each other before turning to Bumblebee who seems surprised.

Bee said, "Nova....your um....glowing?"

Nova noticed her body still glowing, emitting a white aura. "Oh yeah....must have been the Cybermatter that made my body healed itself which is the only logic explanation. I guess Ratchet manage to make it."

"Indeed, It would seem the old field medic made good after all." Optimus praises. He then announces over all comms,"Optimus Prime to all units...Megatron is no more. Wreckers, a job well done securing the bridge."

"It wasn't us sir. The credit belongs to the humans." Ultra Magnus replies.

"Hooyeah," Miko cheered from the background which Nova groaned to herself, rolling her optics.

Optimus and Bee climbed back up the platform as Nova rapidly flew up. Ratchet who had stunned look on his face before saying, "Nova.....If you ever do something that reckless again, I swear...."

Nova said, calming him down, " Woah hey hey take it Ratchet, It's not like this is the fourth time I died."

Ratchet wanted say something but decided not to. Smokescreen looked down to noticed something from Nova's servo. "Hey, Nova what is that?" he said, pointing at the weapon.

Nova lifted the staff to show to everyone. It had two glowing spheres embedded on both sides but different size, covered in silver metal. The top part had a strange trident blade shape with a while at the end has a strange crescent shape. (A/N Don't know what to describe so bear with me.)

"Oh This.....actually I have no idea what it is....It sorta of appeared before me when I'm in my near death experience." Nova answered

Arcee said, "Wait...It appeared before you?"

"Yeah, I heard a voice  and believe me it wasn't Primus, it sounded more like many voices around me. They're the reason I came back."

Everyone exchanged glances before turning back to her. "Well, Whoever they are, It's good to have you back with us, Nova." Bumblebee said to her.

Nova smiled at him before she heard a humming from her staff as if it was telling her something. A thought came to her before turning to Bumblebee, "You know Bee.....I think it's time to lose the new voice." which he had a confused look.

Nova raised her staff in front of Bee before the sphere began to glow. Then, she pointed at him, with the tip of the blade as she tapped it to where his voicebox was. It complied as the blue light flowing from her staff and towards Bumblebee's neck, much to her team's surprise. Nova felt all the energy leaving her and flowing through her staff, into Bee's throat. It was glowing bright, so bright that it blinded their optics. When the brightness became dim, her staff disappeared from her servo as her arm fall to her side, all of her limbs feeling like lead. Her body stopped glowing which Optimus managed to caught her.

Nova slowly opened her dual optics (which was blue and purple optics) which was no longer glowing. She saw the concerned look on his face as she gave reassuring smile, "I'm alright sire....just feeling drained."

Bumblebee coughed a bit as Ratchet asked, "BumbleBee, are you alright?

Bumblebee coughs again until he spoke the very first time, "Woah...that was tingly."

Everyone except Nova was startled by Bee's voice. Ratchet looked at Bee in shock but in delight, "Bumblebee."

"Your voice." Arcee added with a smile.

"My voice, what do you-? My voice." Bee shouted suddenly realizing before running to hug Ratchet, "Ratchet, I have my pipes back!"

Ratchet laughed, full on laughed, a big grin on his face. "Yes, we noticed!"

Bumblebee turned to Nova, "You did this, didn't you?"

Nova smiled tiredly, nodding her head. "Yeah...I thought maybe if I was able to morph into a saber perhaps I could even fix broken things I guess."

Bumblebee lifts Nova into a hug and twirling her around in circles. "Thank you.....Thank you so much, Nova!!!!"

Nova said mentally freaked out, "Uh....Okay It's a bit way to icky and catchy now....seriously, Bee please let go of me."

Nobody said a word and instead watched Bee and Nova exchange a blissful moment. "The Omega Lock is under our control. I propose we put it to good use." Ratchet said to Optimus.

"Agreed old friend." Optimus replied, "Ultra Magnus, set course for Cybertron."

Nova turn to Bee and said,"I think a certain someone might like to see Cybertron...as well as his new and improved guardian."

He smiles and addresses Raf, "Hey Raf, if you can tear yourself away from your laptop for two seconds; bridge yourself up here so we can go to Cybertron already."

They bridged onto the bridge of the warship and they went through a space bridge to Cybertron. As they headed towards Cybertron Optimus turned to Nova, "Thank you."

"You're welcome, though I should be thanking you too."

"Let's just call it even." She nodded and smiled as they came into Cybertron's atmosphere.

Ratchet turned to Optimus, "Optimus, I was never able to learn Shockwave's side of the cybermatter equation. This may be all we ever have, and Cybertron is a much larger planet than Earth."

Opitmus looked at the holographic globe before answering Ratchet, "Then we must launch the cybermatter at Cybertron's very core."

"Into the heart of Primus himself?" Ratchet asked in disbelief.

"Yes. We can rebuild the rest of the planet, but restoring our planets heart requires the Omega Lock's skill and wisdom that the Ancients put into it."

Ratchet nodded as they made a course for the core. A minute later Wheeljack called down, "Commander, we've arrived, at the Well of Allsparks."

They lined the Lock up and Ratchet activated it. It gathered its energy for a second and Nova felt the energy pulsate through her like it had before as it fired. It took a good minute before its energy was depleted and its remaining energy followed into the Well. Several seconds later the planet began to glow a bluish color and it seemed more alive to Nova then any other time she had been before, despite it still in ruins. It was beautiful to behold.

'After so long, after so many lost their lives, their planet was alive again.' Nova smiled at the scene.

"Ahh. Such luster."

Nova turned to see it was Knock Out. He was just standing there, gazing longingly at Cybertron. Knock Out looked over, feeling everyone's stares. "What? I'm joining the winning team."

After that's said Miko walks up to him, still wearing the Apex Armor, and punches him right in the face making him fall to the ground unconscious. She crosses her arms in pride.

Nova walk over to her and said impressed, "Nice punch, Miko."

Miko replied, "Thanks......You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that."

"Trust me I do."

Everyone looks out of the windows and enjoys the sight of the sun rising over Cybertron, when all of the sudden they see Predaking flying away.

"The Predacon." Magnus stated.

Ratchet opened a ground bridge and they left through it to return to the base. They said very little when they got back, all of them heading for their berth rooms or grabbing some Energon then heading to the berth rooms. The kids all crashing on whatever furniture they could find. Nova was in her human form after being in her Titan Mode for so long has made her feel exhausted. Right now, she was sitting on the rooftop with Campy on her lap, where she can see the sunset.

She was petting Campy, while staring at sun setting on the horizon. Optimus was wondering where she was until he found her outside. He stood beside her where Nova already knew he was coming.

"I suppose.....your heading back to Cybertron, huh?" Nova spoke up

"Indeed it is." Optimus said.

"Hey, Sire Can I ask you? What would you say if this were goodbye?"

His expression hardened to the thought. "Words would be hard to express." he told her solemnly, "That being said they do not need to be..." he cupped his hand slightly as he reached it up to her, she took a light grip on one of his fingertips.

She smiled the best she could without turning it into a quivered lip, "You too." she said her voice slightly breaking as he helped her down from the roof. She looked back at the scenery, sighing softly. Optimus seems to notice it as he asked, "Is something bothering you, Nova?"

"Huh Oh Just having thoughts." Nova asked.

"About what?"

'This is it....you got to tell and there's no turning back.' Nova took a deep breath before she answered, "Sire.....It's something I wanted to talk to you about."
