Prisoner

Nova found herself stepping from a different portal, she looked behind her to an oval shaped portal crimson red in appearance, "Ok, This is definitely not right." She said. As the portal closed she looked around she was on top of a tower. "Hmmm should have made a left to in at albuquerque." she snickered, "Darn, made a joke and no ones around to hear it." She took a small step towards the edge as she could see the two Predacons and Starscream flying passed by from where she stood appearing much smaller in scale but she knelt down nonetheless.

She tensed her fingers, "Well there's the upside." She said as she turned worried, "So, it wasn't Ratchet that sent the groundbridge. Could it be my powers acting up? Ok, not great about having this weird portal ability though, can't even begin to figure out those problems." she scratched her helm, "I think I've used up 'surprise', nothings is really freaking me out anymore or maybe because I find it pretty annoying now...hey wait a minute am I talking to myself? This is awkward...."

A sudden realization hit her, "The others are probably just confused where I am, I better call in." she said pressing a finger against her helm, though instantly cringed to the type of frequency she got back, "Really? I'm at the most advanced technological planet and I can't even get a signal?" she said looking to the sky, "Best to just head back to the Nemesis I guess with good old fashioned exercise." she stated making an awkward chuckle to herself.

'Again. I'm talking to myself.' she said scolding her mentality.

She started looking over the pillar, "Hm, downside, Cybertron may have some pretty good looking buildings but nothing to grab onto if you fall, too slick and smooth. rocky cliffs are starting to look pretty good." She said as she looked left and right out of habit as a way to see if anyone was looking and then looked at her hand.

"It's not one of those 'feel' like it abilities is it?" she said remembering what she saw before the Predacon passed through her and what she went through when passing through the Groundbridge. She lifted a finger up as she thought of a theory, "Pfft, I'm so glad I'm alone right now, doing all this dumb superhero stuff that Miko made me read."

She then half closed her optics as she 'poked' the open space. Of course nothing happened as she slumped her shoulders, "Yeah...pretty dumb, no way am I going to start saying words either." She said. "Hm, open uh....Sesame?" she face palmed, "Nah...lets see, the Predacon went through me but why?" she thought back, "I lifted my arms to block my face and then my head started thumping." She wavered her hands, "I need to get back."

She took a couple of steps forward to take a look over the edge trying to figure a way down as she suddenly froze in mid step she tried to pull herself into the direction she wanted to, "Huh Why can't I move?" she questioned her body. "Come on, jeez Ultra Magnus is hurt, our chain of command is thrown of whack, Predacon's are roaming freely and I can't even take three steps without something going wrong." She moved again forward, "Don't tell me body is lodge up, I mean I'm part Cybertronian, not the tin man."

"Wrong, direction."

She stiffened, a booming, dark voice echoed inside her processor, as though someone was stood right beside her, whispering in her audio receptors, "What?" she questioned, the word barely making a sound, when her head jerks to the side as both her optics went blank.

Mindscape

She suddenly looked upon an area of sudden darkness as though she was taken from her current location. Like a soul leaving its body, she looked around, wires, metal, she looked herself over, she was in her human form but slightly transparent, ghost like and floating around, she even thought for a moment if she were even alive, but no, she was very much alive but that would be the least of her fears.

She was inside the very processor of her robotic form, she looked to the outer walls as slight vein like tendrils, glowing purple, beating like a pumping heart slowly crept over the processor. "It's...its spreading." she said, "Like maggots, but why? Why would Dark Energon have that kind of nature to consume?"

"As a source alone, it cannot."  the voice said again. "The ability to revive the dead, extends to an empty shell as it is simple to occupy however 'two' exist in here."

"T-that voice....."

From the very back of her head, from the darker side of her mind came two large purple optics shrouded in a purple mist. Two hands from either side with no wrist or arm attached merely hovered there as she was microscopic in this area but he appeared planet size, being only optics and hands the size of his statue was spine chilling.

Startled she shouted in disbelief, "How was that possible?! You're not supposed to exist anymore!"

"My will extends further then you can imagine, it lays dormant in the most purest of being, but can easily show in your race even with the slightest thought of ambition, greed, insanity, loss, fear what is that dormant part?"

Her eyes wandered as an uncontrollable twitch, "e-easily show? I -I don't know what yo- W-Ahhh!" she wailed suddenly her head burning as she was briefly shown a flashback, "I'll kill them all!" is what echoed from her own mouth. "When brought to your knees, C-Chaos..." she then said tiredly.

"C-Chaos..." he chuckled looking over this small trembling form, "such a meek thing."

She slightly clenched her fist but kept her head high enough, never gaze away from his optics, "How-how do you exist right now?" she asked bitterly.

"To begin with, I was nothing. But through a tunnel I was able to become self-aware, able to exist in this form as neither of us occupying had no natural business to dwell within."

Her head lowered a little in frustrated motions to her own impatience to a hundred more questions she wanted to ask straight after but was tied between the fear of him and her own demand, "How, were you able to exist through me?" she asked carefully.

"Such ignorance, your world, it exists because of me, your lands because of me, your seas, your creatures, YOU, ALL of you. Are tied to me." He hissed. "I already told you that I exist in every one of you, the Dark Energon only awakened my dormant state thus, I exist."

She shook her head, "That's....impossible." She said.

"You dare question an all-powerful deity?!"

She slightly shook from the knees down, "Even if you did take a part in our creation.....but we are not like you."

He looked on amusingly at the fear expressed in her legs, "Surprisingly audacious." he commented before glaring harshly at her, "I know of your history, I have seen it through your mind. Can you truly belief those words?"

She looked down slightly, "Hesitant!" he cried as she felt her mind almost be squeezed, like a giant slowly crushing her head into the ground. "You see, the more doubt there is the more powerful I become, the fear and indifference in your race, the divides, the Wars, have kept me sustained in my hibernated state."

He said as she started to breathe heavily being a literal 'toy' was unbearable, "D-...Doubt...? F-Fear?" she breathed out.

"Now, you will follow out to the deepest quantum of this galaxy and there you will find the Prime." he swiftly ordered, "There, you will act accordingly, then you will surrender this form to me so that I may destroy the essence of Primus and its harbinger."

She snapped her head up, it was a very swift demand she couldn't comprehend it, "No." she only said. "I'm not doing that, not in a million years. No way!"

"Do not test me!"

She grit her teeth, "N-No!" she said glancing around, "How do I get rid of you?!" she yelled looking at connected wires that linked to her processor as her eyes came to realization.

"I know what you are thinking." He said, "You cannot even think without me knowing, any tiny thought. Is MINE." She saw his eyes look up, "And so I know you cannot do it. Because you are unsure of the fate if you try and destroy this mind. But I am not a fool, to ensure you will not attempt to seal us both in this shell."

The purple eyes then faded, "Look." He said a small holographic globe of the Earth formed in front, then all of a sudden the lands lit up with tiny red dots so many together that it formed into one huge continent of red. "These represent the life on your planet where you first awakened." He said flatly, "With though alone I could wipe the species and many others clean of existence."

"I...don't, think so." She said slowly as he seemed to press on a part of the processor making her flinch. "Ugh.....N-Ne-urgh..."

"You think because I am a mere piece of myself that I am too 'weak' to honour that threat? Tiny mind for a Herald, never to consider everything impossible to 'you'. I refer to my more powerful factor, currently taking possession of a lowly corpse to destroy Primus' very spark, while here I can perform a more, 'minuscule' task."

"A corpse?" she shuddered to think but who else could it be?

"Vacuous form of life, do as I command or the human race will perish." He simply said as a squared image appeared showing, memories, Jack, Miko, Raf, June Darby, Fowler, and other significant others, he stated extinction so calmly which scared her to no end, referring to an entire race as simply ants made her feel truly...insignificant.

But does she risk it? Could he even do that? Was he just lying? Afraid to ask in fear of another dose of what he was capable of she came up with a neutral answer.

"No....I...I won't let you take over me willingly and I won't do your bidding either." She said bravely.

"A meaningless effort, I spread at a substantial rate."

Outside of her mind

And with that Nova suddenly found herself seeing through her optics again, this time her left purple optic was glowing dangerously. As her arm raised unwillingly, her sense of panic didn't help as she 'drew' a oval shape into the empty space she watched as it took on a physical existence the edge of the oval was burning a purple shade as though it hurt the plain of existence itself, she remembers now, the portal she went through and how the Predacon went through her, it was this.

On the inside of the portal chilled her as her hand touched it, it was something indescribable, it wasn't cold yet it chilled her, there was no darkness or light but it scared her, something that existed yet didn't, which made her think...is this the pit?

"N-No..." she said with a raspy voice, though the body moved on its own and she stepped through the portal she made sure to shut her optics tightly being the only motor function she could control as she couldn't bare to think if this portal would warp her mind...
