NOva arrived at the base the other day, only too see Bulkhead and BumbleBee playing some type of Cybertronian basketball. She saw Bulkhead make a goal and ran over to where Jack and Raf were sitting. They waved at her as she got up and sat with them, watching them. Bulkhead tossed the ball in his hands, "Come on. Best two out of three!" He then threw the ball at Bumblebee. He grabbed it and dodged him, going to the goal. Raf grinned, "Bee! You're in the clear! Dunk it Bee!" Nova shook her head in amusement as he ran up to the goal but stopped right before it. Nova felt an unsettling feeling.

"Bumblebee, Quit hogging the ball!" BumbleBee turned around and threw it at him. The ball barely missed Bulkhead's head as he dodged, "Hey!"

Miko slipped down the ladder, blowing her whistle like a referee. "Foul!" Bulkhead rubbed the back of his head, "Bee, hoop's over there!"

BumbleBee beeped at him, turning to look at the goal. Raf and Nova frowned watching him. Raf leaned forward a bit, "Bee, you okay?"

BumbleBee buzzed, letting him know he's good as he lift his three fingers to him. Raf nodded, "Yeah....three out of five." Nova watched him as he went back to playing the game with Bulkhead. She sighed softly, he seemed a bit off lately... Bumblebee ended up winning the game and walked off towards the back of the base while Miko and Bulkhead went to hang out. Jack hung out with Arcee. Raf and Nova was sitting on the platform, playing video games (which Raf taught her since she never play games before) with Campy watching while trying to be quiet for Ratchet and Optimus.

Later

The three went home while Nova practiced her powers more without her jacket on. She learned nothing new but gained better control of them. She managed to learn how to use her lightning power due to the accident when Miko kept bragging her in trying out her lighting power which was a result almost tried to fry her. She was able to learn to aim and was proud of herself. She wiped the sweat on her head until she noticed the scar on her left arm which was still there. As she kept staring at her ripped short sleeve, the scar she had will forever remind her of the horrors of what she faced. She shook her head as she grabbed her jacket and placing her hood over her head. She also grabbed Campy and was about to head back. While she was walking, Nova wondered what she felt earlier, just now she felt a sinister aura then it disappeared. Whatever it was just faded or hidden.

As she was making her through the giant archway, She was stopped seconds later as i bumped into Bee's foot. "Woah BumbleBee, Um Kinda of met in the middle huh?" She said. But he just stood there, staring at her and...frowning...or she think it was frowning, bee's never been known to frown that much, "Uh...Hello? Earth to BumbleBee?" She said, waving her right hand but didn't respond. She notice his hand twitched a bit, and slowly went into a fist, and then relaxed again. It looked like his hand was fighting with itself. The hall was empty and it was just Nova and BumbleBee, She decided to take the opportunity to walk back to main room while he was standing still, but immediately stomped his foot down in her path.

"Hey! What's your problem!! It's getting late so stop messing about!" She said on edge, she was really starting to feel uncomfortable around him, and just like that he walked off and Nova was left alone with Campy and the sound of BUmbleBee's feet echoing through the hallway. Nova decided to inform Ratchet. "Jeez that was too much of a 'jerk' for Bumblebee. Hey Hatchet! Hey!" She called. "Nova! Would you please stop calling me that and making all that noise, this is the only time I can have some time to myself." He said in his normal grumpy voice. "I hate to say.....Something's wrong with BumbleBee." SHe told him bluntly poking him the leg.

"Yes, yes i know you've told me that one a hundred times."

"Hahaha very funny.... i mean seriously something mentally wrong with him."

"He's probably still recovering from his experience in Megatrons mind. Anyway, I opened a groundbridge for you because Optimus is on patrol. So Get going." He simply said no concern in his voice what so ever. Nova then head to the groundbridge, 'Pigs will fly when he takes me seriously.' She thought though she was more cautious this time around when she gets back to base tomorrow.

At Night

Inside the Dreamscape

The sight was awestruck. It was like something you see from a sci-fi futuristic movie. Standing still Nova took in the beauty and wonder of a giant metal city. Silver and gold gleamed in the sunlight, flying machines like space ships passed by tall skyscrapers that look like they would reach the sky itself.

"Woah" That was the only thing that she could say.

"Nova" She heard someone whispered her name. She whirled around trying to find the source, but could see no one.

"Hello" She called out looking around. When she looked back, her beautiful dream became an ugly nightmare. Watching in horror, she couldn't do anything when the glowing city began turning into ruins. Flames burst everywhere as explosions began going off.

Nova could hear horribly shrieks and screams of innocents being killed. She could also hear guns being fired everywhere. It was like her last dream before, only this time, it was even worse. She screamed as she felt herself falling into darkness.

"Nova" The voice whispered again as she landed gracefully to the ground.

"Who's there? Where are you?" She yelled looking around.

" Nova" It whispered once more.

Whipping around, she spotted the bright light that was from her last dream. The air around her became warm and thick. Nova watch as bright light took on a large human form figure.

"Who are you and why do you keep saying my name?" She asked.

"I've finally made contact" said the figure standing above her; he was about the size of a cybertronian. Could it be one?

"Contact? Who are you?" She asked again.

"I cannot reveal myself to you yet." Its voice was masculine that means that it is he.

"All your questions will be answered soon little one. When the time comes, we will meet again......" He told as the bright light began to fade.

"Wait! Stop! You're not making any sense!" She protested but as she was chasing, she shrieked when a giant metal hand gripped her from behind. She struggled to get free but it pulled her further away from the light and everything.... started to fade away.

End of Dreamscape

Nova snapped awake with her eyes staring at the window. It was still night time and Campy was still in recharge. She sat up taking a deep breath and running her fingers through her hair."That was the strangest and scariest I have ever had. Why am I having this dream?" Nova said to herself as plopped back into bed. Her hands cover her face trying figure out what the dream meant. But she was too tired so went back to sleep.

The Next Day

She groaned when it was morning. She didn't get any sleep at all from last night due to the dream she had, Optimus came to picked her up from the park as they head to the base. He noticed her tired look as he asked, "Are you unwell, NOva?"Nova said tiredly, "Huh....No, I'm alright I'm just sleepy becoz I didn't get enough sleep last night thanks to this crazy dream I had. Don't worry, I'll take a rest at the base."The trip back to base only took a few minute but when they got back, she saw BumbleeBee was in a frenzy and Ratchet was sending him into a power-down. Nova asked Raf, "What are you doing here?"Raf replied, "Bee, didn't pick me up to school so I came here."

"Ratchet, what is wrong with Bumblebee?" Optimus asked worriedly.

Ratchet answered without looking at the Prime, "Bumblebee's complaining of intermittent visions.....waking nightmares, if you will." Raf turned around worriedly, "But you said Bee was fine when you checked him over."

"Physically, but the experience he endured seems to be having a temporary effect on his psyche. This induced power-down should force Bumblebee's mind to rest and recover."

Nova wondered if it was related from yesterday just as the computer started to beep. Fowler appeared on the screen. "Prime, you spot any Decepticons wearing hula skirts lately?" Fowler asked. "No special agent Fowler, why?" Optimus replied.

"Because I was hoping you have a lead on the cons that busted into the Kawaiian naval observatory. Place looked like it was hit by an army of wreaking balls!"

"Why would cons break into an observatory?" Arcee asked. "Does the white Nikko gozian ring any bells?" Fowler replied. (Don't know if that's what he said)

"The what now?" Nova said confused. "The space telescope" Raf answered. "As of last night missing its primary lenses." Fowler explained. "It's difficult to guess Starscream's intent without knowing where the lens has been taken." Optimus spoke up.

"Good thing the lens has a tracking devise." Fowler told them. A new picture with a flashing red dot came up on the screen. "The Arctic? Great. Another chance to freeze our spark plugs off." Arcee said full of sarcasm. The computer shows a close up and Bulkhead whistles. "That's a ND-7 class. Biggest unmineable energon deposit there is." He said. "Unmineable until Starscream melts his way down to it." Optimus stated."With the help of the lens." Arcee added. Nova said flatly, "Which was bad."

"Melting a glacier that size would cause see levels to rise and demolish coastal cities!" Fowler said.

Everyone except Ratchet and Bumblebee set off to try and stop the melting of the Arctic. Nova went upstairs to the sofa and decided to take a cat nap. Just when she was about to close eyes, she felt a tingle sensation and looked up to see Ratchet scanning her. "I'm fine Ratchet; you don't need a scan to tell you that I'm JUST tired."Nova sighed in annoyance. "Optimus told me that you didn't get any sleep because of some dream. Do you want to talk about it?" Ratchet said.

"No, I'm already it was just a silly dream."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Thank you for your concern though, Doctor." Nova said. Ratchet also questioned about her progress in controlling her lightning power which she replied that she was working on it. He nodded and walked off back to his computer. She lay down on the couch and close her eyes, to let her body rest.

Later

"....and I told her that I know a guy who knows cars." Raf tells to a comatose state Bee. Nova was silently watching from the shadows, making sure that Raf, or anyone else, does not know that she's there. Campy was beside Raf just to keep him company. "Rafael, I'm afraid Bumblebee can't hear you in power-down mode." Ratchet said as he has walk towards him. "It's getting late. Why don't I bridge you home to your family?"

"Because I told Bee I'd stay. He's family, too." Raf said obviously. Nova blinked when he said BumbleBee is part of his family. For some reason, whenever she heard that it felt familiar. "Don't be ridiculous. You're not even the same species." Ratchet stated in disbelief at Raf's words. "That's being related. It's not the same thing." Raf answered. "I'll show you." He then takes his phone out from his back pocket and opens it up and then shows the screen towards Ratchet. "This is my family." Raf stated. Ratchet comes in closer to get a better look to see a picture of his family.

"Mmhmm. It's very nice." Ratchet said blandly not really interested. "Very large." Raf emphasizes. "Sometimes I can shout and no one hears me." He said as he downcast his eyes.

"Yes, yes, yes, yes." Ratchet just stared at a wall. 'Did Ratchet used to have a family?' Nova wondered. Raf looked back at Bee, "But Bee always listens. And I can understand him. I'm not sure why, but I do." Silently, Nova walk away towards the training room. Some training sounds good right now.

Minutes later, Nova was training her fighting skill and couldn't shake the thought of what Raf said. The word Family felt a singed on her chest, she began to questioned herself if she had a family before she lost her memory. Speaking of which, what was that dream about? Who was the voice she heard and saw little of? How he know her life? What did he mean by all that? So, many questions went through her head wondering about her dream that just happen last night. "What does it all mean?" Nova asked herself. She shook her head, figuring it out later as she continue her training.

In the middle of about to make a fatal blow to her imaginary enemy when Campy ran into the room and hopping frantically at her as if he was telling her something. She had an unsettling feeling on her gut. Immediately, Nova, along with Campy ran out of the training room, searching for Raf. When she got to the main hangar, She saw a fallen Ratchet and BumbleBee holding Raf in his hand.

"Bumblebee, please! I know you're in there! Aah!" Raf yelled as he is then thrown to a higher platform where he can't climb down. "You have to fight whatever's making you do this!"

"BUMBLEBEE?! What the heck are you doing?"She yelled as she run towards him. Bumblebee turned to her as He raises his arm and his dual energon small cannons activate. His weapon aimed at her. Just as he shoots she dodge the shots. Nova had the unsettling feeling again which was coming from him, she realize that is not BumbleBee, whatever is making him do this, is still shooting at her. However when he is firing consecutive shoots, Her hair glowed which she make an electric shield, protecting her. Whoever that is controlling BumbleBee stops his attack and his eyes look.....interested. In that moment, She pressed her palms together and focus her mind as she spread them apart revealing a blue sphere of light. She was about to blast him when.......

"Nova! No!" Raf yelled and that made her lose concentration, dissipating the sphere. BumbleBee then takes that opportunity to leave in the activated Bridge. Just as he disappears, Ratchet groans. Nova looked over to Ratchet. "Hey, are you alright?" She asked him. "I'm fine." Ratchet said as he stands up. "More importantly, is Bumblebee?" He then walks towards Raf. "I fear the time spent in Megatron's mindscape is causing him to think like a Decepticon."

"Bee's not a con!" Raf protested.

"Agreed But we need to find out exactly what Bumblebee intends to do with that shard." Ratchet replied as Raf jumped into his hands, "The only one who knew of the Dark Energon was Megatron."

"Bumblebee has Megatron's memories?" Raf asked. "Worse, Megatron is occupying Bumblebees mind." Ratchet said gravely. "What!" Raf and Nova said at the same time. That would explained the unsettling feeling, it turned out it was Megatron she sense earlier.

"How could I have been such a fool? The cordial psychic patch acted as a two way contoaint!" Ratchet said as he set Raf down, Nova running up to the catwalk. The medic opened the ground bridge. "When Bumblebee returned to his own mind, Megatron followed. And now Bumblebee, Megatron, has bridged to nearly the same coordinates Optimus used." He said as the ground bridged powered up. "Stay here."

"No, Bumblebee needs me!" Raf protested. "Of course he does." Ratchet sighed. "I'm going too!" NOva said. Ratchet protest that she's not allowed to since Optimus forbade her from any missions however Nova manage to change his mind that she'll just keep Raf safe. So Ratchet helped Nova onto his shoulder as Raf was next to her, Nova ordered Campy to remain in the base and left for the ground bridge.

"The Decepticon Warship." Ratchet informed as they finally made it to the other side as the Bridge closes. "Did Bumblebee do this?" Raf asked as they looked to the dead cons.

"I fear Megatron's mind is Dominant." Ratchet replied. "And clearly he came here for one purpose. To use the Dark Energon to resurrect his own body."

"Which was really bad..."NOva said gravely.

"No, Bumblebee won't let him!" Raf protested. "Like he didn't let Megatron hurt me back at the base."

"I hope you are right." He told them. They continued down the hall as they followed. Ratchet held up a servo as a signal for them to stay put, but they didn't listen and followed him as we entered the control room. Her eyes widened to see Megatron's still body. Nova thought, 'So, that's Megatron.' And then next to him is BumbleBee, but not Bee, who has something connect on the back of his helm.

"Ratchet!" Raf yelled as Ratchet lunged at Bee. "Don't hurt Bumblebee!"

"That's not Bumblebee!" Ratchet yelled back as he took a couple swings at the scout. He missed. In the end Bee ended up hitting Ratchet and he was slammed against the wall.

"Bumblebee no!" Raf yelled as Bee was about to put the shard in Megatron's body. "Remember who you are! Remember me! I know you always listen to me no matter what!"

Nova slowly walk forward, with her arm ready to shoot him, but her arm retracts as she see Bee's optics to change. It's working....

He looks at them as if he was a bit confused. "C'mon fight it! I know you can!" Nova yelled to him.

"That's rights right Bee! It's me!" Raf said excitedly. BumbleBee then grabbed his face and fell to the floor in front of Raf. The boy ran up to him, but was flung to the wall. "Raf?!"Nova shouted as she run over to Raf inspecting for any injuries, but he gave her an assuring look that he was okay. Ratchet met the wall once again. She ran up to Ratchet now checking on him. "Hey, if you can hear me say something." She asked softly. She had a groan as he sat up and she sighed in relief. Unfortunately, it was short lived when a shadow loomed over her. She turned around and regretted it. Megatron looked at the medic and down to her. She took a couple of steps back and was planing to use her power when Megatron grabbed her before Ratchet could.

"Decepticons, your rightful lord and master had returned!" He snarled as Nova was in his grip. 'His gripped felt like the one from my dream. Did he somehow get into my dream and tried to take me away?' Nova thought, when it felt familiar. She looked at Ratchet, Bumblebee and Raf staring at her in disbelief and fear.

"Finish these pests!" He ordered as he began to walk off as some of the Vehicons appeared."I have my own extermination to finish."

Nova could hear Raf and Ratchet yell her name while Bumblebee was beeping frantically as gun fire was heard. Nova squirmed but flinched as he tightened his grip on her. She couldn't move her arms. "Let go of me you mega-freak!" She gasped as his gripped tightened, She couldn't breath. She growled at him before her vision changed. Everything around her turned lightening blue. She could hear Megatron gasped and felt she was being lifted.

When the lightening blue was gone and her vision cleared, Nova was a merely a few inches from his face. He chuckled darkly as she scowled at him.

"Just as I suspect....."

"Huh?" Nova gave him a puzzled look.

"You are no ordinary human aren't you?"

"And what's that supposed to mean."

"You sparked my interest when you dodge my shots and formed a shield around you. Tell me, how can a human such as yourself possessed such an ability."

NOva shrugged and said, "So, what if I'm not human? I don't know how I got them. Even if I do, there's no way I'll tell from the likes of you!?"

He chuckled again. "How amusing and with such fire, you would make a fine warrior if you weren't born into such a pathetic and weak species."

"Hey! I'm here you know!" Nova retorted as they stepped outside. It's not cold as it should be maybe cause of the lens. She heard the sound of the jet and spotted it taking a dive. "Starscream." Megatron muttered cold with venom dripping by the sound of his name. He glared down at her. "I will deal with you another time. If can survive this fall, our paths shall cross again." Nova blinked as he literately dropped her from the hold and went sky diving.

However, Nova landed face -first on the snow which the shield cushioned her from the fall as she sat on her knees and shook her head. She rubbed her eyes to clear her vison. But the lightening blue came back and couldn't see, then next thing she was knew she was tired and black became the new color of her sight.

As Nova slowly opened her eyes the first thing she saw was a bright light which she followed. "That's it. Follow the light." She heard Ratchets voice. Nova blinked a couple of times as the bright light got out the way, which turned out to be Ratchet flashlight. Nova was greeted by the Autobots who smiled in relief as she sat up.

Nova noticed that she was lying in a hospital bed that they use for when Fowler was injured. She turned to Jack, Miko, and Raf who were happy see, especially Campy who climbed onto her shoulder and nuzzled her face warmly. She stroked his helm and said, "Its good to see you too."

"Are you alright, Nova?" Raf asked.

"Dude, we thought you dead for a minute." Miko commented as Jack glared at her. "I'm fine, in fact I never felt better." She said as she hopped of the bed and stretched her arms. She looked at Bumblebee and walked towards him.

"How you feeling?" Nova asked. BumbleBee buzzed which Raf translated for her.

"He said, 'I'm feeling better thanks. No more nightmares about Megatron.'"

"Well, Good Riddance."

"He also apologize for what he did."

Nova shook her head and said, "No, don't blame yourself. Its Megatrons fault, not yours."

Bumblebee was about to say something but Nova stopped him. "Look, I'm alive aren't I? In fact I'm like a survivor! And if your gonna ask.....No he didn't harm me, he and I just talked."

"About what?" Arcee asked.

Nova shrugged. "He just kept babbling about stuff I didn't understand and humans."

"What about humans?"

She gave another shrugged and Arcee sighed deciding not to push into the subject any further. Nova turned to see Raf looked to bumblebee and both smiled.

"What did he say?" Miko asked as she leaned in.

"He said thanks." Raf said as Nova couldn't help but feel glad that he got his guardian back. Nova then notice both them turned to her which Raf said to her, "HE also thanked you as well..."Nova stared at him with an unsure look and said, "What do you mean?"

"Well, for helping me get Bumblebee back."

"I....I only did it becoz I can't bear to see your precious friend gone beside he is your family."

Raf walk towards her and said, "Nova, your my friend as well......besides you listen and talk to me when I have troubles."Nova asked confusedly, "Why would you say that?"

"Its becoz....um....your my family too. You and BumbleBee....."

The moment she heard that, she was taken back when he said she was part of a family. Her head jerks to the side as the flash of image once again appear before her eyes. It shows her where a mysterious lady in lab coat show a book with strange picture then placing a hand on her shoulder. The lady mouthed, "....your my family." As she snapped out of it, she placed her hand on her head, throbbing with pain for some reason. She doesn't know what she was feeling but it felt strange which concerned Raf and the others. He asked worriedly, "Nova?"

She looked up to see their worried looks as she replied, "I...need some air, excuse me."She hurriedly head to the elevator to get some air. Everyone were wondering why she was feeling strange. At the rooftop, she was sitting on the edge of the cliff, wondering what she saw in her image. SHe placed her hand on her chest and tried to figure out what she felt. For some reason, it felt warmth when Raf included Bumblebee and Her as part of his family. The image it shows also told about the lady saying the same thing as well. Whatever it was, that is something she will figure out later. There was a problem which concerns her. Campy notice her worried look as he nudge ear, asking what was wrong. "Megatron knows about me, about my powers. I'll have to be very cautious in the future, who knows what plans he might do." She stated as she hug herself while looking at the sky with worried thoughts.
