It's been 2 years or so since Nova wandered to this small town. SHE beat up bunch of thugs who were trying to messed with her, also hack into other machines to get snacks which caused a fritz again and sometimes looked through garbage to find food even She don't have money or not used power without letting anyone notice it.  She sometimes need to control her emotions or she'll might cause a power problem. She sighed that it was getting bored and wanted to be left alone. As she was casually strolling down with her jacket closed while humming to where she was when a two purple cars drove past by. When it took a turn and went passed her until her hair began to glow neon blue (which is why she has to put her hood on where no one saw it) she sense an energy unlike she ever felt as it stopped glowing. She turned to the cars that just went, she wondered if those two vehicles were the one she sense. Then again, she thought she must be imagining things again. Ever since she was able to sense energy, the only thing she can sense was something that is alive or something powerful and dangerous. She never encounter that before unlike the other machines she saw.

So she turned to the corner of the alleyway to take a shortcut hoping to lead her something to find when someone run into her which caused them to bump each other and fell on the ground. She shook her head from dizziness looked up to see who it was which happens to be a teenage boy infront of her. She glared at him, "Hey Watch where you going?!"He looked at her, a panic on his expression. Nova's eye narrowed. That something wasn't right, why did he look panicked?

Without warning, he suddenly grabbed her hand, and continue to run in the alley, while purple car that she saw earlier chased after them. She recognized the purple car and realized that the energy she sense was coming from the vehicle. She looked back at it, tense, and quickly picked up the same running pace as he did.

"I don't even know her!" He screamed at the car. 'Who's he talking about? Who is this her? And why is it chasing him?' she thought. A blue motorbike suddenly was near them all out of thin air, jumped on top of the car and landed by them. "Hop on!" It said as them both got on the motorbike and drove off. It came to mind that the voice she heard sounded female, from the tone alone, and realized it was driving by itself. Is it a she? If is, where did she come from?

"Friend of yours?" the motorcycle asked facing her mirrors at her. She notice it was looking at her, which is creepy. "Just a Nobody" she relied skeptically when they saw that the cars were still chasing them, and began to shoot at them with lasers from their gun on the side of them. They hold on tight, when the motorcycle speeds up riding on the motorway."Why are those guys shooting at us?" teenage boy frantically asked. Nova had the same thought too."There no us kid, and they aren't guys." She flatly answered. 'Then what are they?' She questioned in her mind. As the robot cars were getting closer to us, a yellow Camaro with black strips came and smack them out of the way.

"Friends of yours?" Nova asked.

"Family." the blue motorbike replied. The Camaro was now driving in front of the two bad cars. When one of them went onto another lane and sped past him. The car smashed into the other one and sent him spinning in circles. 'Serves him right for it, and thank goodness no one is hurt, since the motorway is cleared.' Nova thought, while sighing.The teenage boy began screaming. She looked at him giving a 'WTF' look, and about to open her mouth to ask, but close it when she saw they were coming to a gap in the side of the motorway where it was destroyed.

She didn't holler about it, but held on tight to Jack's waist, as the blue motorbike flew over it and drove down the hill. 'What a rush that was.' Nova mentally thought. She jumped the 12th. gap and landed gracefully, while coming to a stop. I heard a noise like something fall on the ground. She turned to see a boy with spikey brown hair and glasses. The noise she heard early was him dropping his remote controller for his toy car in surprise. 'Great, that freaked him out.' She thought to myself.

"Whoa." He said. "You have no idea." Teenage boy said like he was out of breath. "Um.... you can let go of me now." He said, Nova notice she was still holding tightly to his waist. "Oh.... Sorry" She let go of him quickly and got off the motorbike following him. The boy came up to us quickly in a run, just as the two vehicles came down the hill, transforming in mid-air.

Nova eye's widened that There were giant robots that turned into cars..... Or cars that turned into giant robot.... That were fighting underneath the bridge. She thought it was cool, however, the two boys that were watching it looked less impressed. There was a blue one with pink highlights who was fighting two purple-ish ones. The blue one was holding her ground, however it was easily foreseen that she was to be overpowered. She flipped back away from a string of shots, but wasn't successful in avoiding them. One made direct contact with her chest. She froze, falling to the ground onto her back. Just as she hit the ground, tires screeched on the bridge overhead.

A yellow car drove off the bridge, shattering as it fell to the ground. The massive robot then landed on one of the purple's shoulders, crushing him to the ground. Without missing the beat, the he raised his right hand, and with all his might, punched the second hard on the left cheek. He crashed to the ground, the victor stepping back as the blue one stood. A cringe worthy crunch echoed through the underpass, the yellow bot doing just that as he looked under his foot. The younger boy's remote car that he always drove around down here sat, smashed all to pieces. "It's okay, really," the young one smiled at the giant robot, who seemed to be relieved. But only for half a second as a blast knocked him off his feet to the ground. Nova watched in horror as the two purple ones advanced on the yellow. He tried to get backup, but was shoved back down with a shove by one of the others' foot. He rolled over to stare at the weapons trained on him. She stepped forward, about to charge them, was going to use her powers. However, She wasn't sure if she was to do that without letting anyone know but something----

"Leave him alone!"

Everything and everyone froze, staring at the younger boy. His face eventually changed from anger to it being laced with fear. "Please?" He chuckled nervously. "Bad call " Teenage boy said, place a hand on his shoulder. One of the robots legged towards them. Nova looked around and saw a pipe which is big enough to escape"Come on." She grabbed the Teenage boy's hand and carry the young boy on the arm, and they all ran around a corner towards a large sewer pipe. The robot was still following them as they jumped into the pipe. A giant, metal claw reached towards them, the boys running in front of her. A loud crash echoed around them, the claw disappearing out of sight. A string of even more crashes, then a familiar yellow face appeared at the end of the pipe, eyes gazing worriedly at us."Thanks," the youngest smiled, earning a final nod from the yellow who stood again, more crashes being heard as he moved away.

"Don't look back." Jack said seriously, grabbing the boy and her shoulders. "What did we just see?" The boy asked. Her thoughts the same as his. "I don't know kid."She shrugged. "No idea either and I'm not sure I want to find out anyway." Jack said. Once they got out of there and she turned to the boys."This never happened today, Got it?"She said. The two boys nodded as she was about to leave, the teenage boy asked, "Thx for saving us, I'm Jack."

"I'm Raf, whats yours?"

She stopped in her spot and replied, "Just a homeless girl who doesn't want to know. Be careful on your way back"as she left, leaving the two boys clueless.

The next day

Since what happened yesterday, Nova decided to avoid any attention from anyone including the one she encountered. She stood up from her spot and jumped down from the jungle gym as left the park. She's been hanging around at the park where she had thoughts. As she was walking along the sidewalk when she heard a vehicle engine. She looked over her shoulder to see a yellow car from yesterday. She try to ignore it but kept on following her, she shrugged her shoulder that its still behind her which annoyed her. Instead of walking, she made a run for it which made the yellow car hit the pedals. She kept on running, trying to avoid to be caught but it kept chasing her. She manage to dodge obstacles in front of her while running and took the left corner which leads to a dead end, she run out of breath and turned to see the yellow car corner her. She groaned, "what do you want from me?!"

The yellow car slowly approached her and opened the door, revealing a young boy with glasses. The young boy said, "He said he wants you to get in."She said recognizing the face, "Your that kid....what was your name? Raf, what are you doing with that car?"The yellow car began to beep as though it was talking. Her eye's narrowed not knowing what it was talking about, however Raf translated for him.

Raf said, "Bumblebee said that he's been ordered to take us to their base and meet their leader."

"So the car has a name.......Is that so? Well, tell him there's no way I'm getting in that car. I've seen the trouble I've been and I'm not going anywhere."

"Its very important so pls can you come with us?"

She stared at him and she hate to admit he was cute when he was young. She doesn't like being involve but she happen to like kids since they played with her when they met at the park. She let out a sigh and said, "Ok fine, Only becoz I don't like being followed...."She got into the backseat becoz she wanted to lay down. The thought of sleeping in the car was comfortable, she never lay something soft before. The only place she laid was at the junkyard where she usually hides or nap. She also wondered who the leader is.

"So, where do you live?" Raf asked, innocently smiling at her. Bumblebee chirped and whizzed from the radio in front of them."Actually, I don't have a home, I sleep outside where I can be hidden or not get wet."

"Oh.....Sorry" His face lowered into his lap, looking disappointedly at his hands.

"Its alright....nobody is perfect." as she fell into a sleep.

They drove through the desert area with Jack and the one called Acree which Raf told her, were behind them not a moment sooner. They were heading towards a big cliff-like mountain, but Bumblebee drove straight forward. When Nova heard something open she opened her eyes seeing that they are in a tunnel with a metal road. As they exited out of the tunnel and driving considerably slow, there was a massive metal room big enough for themselves. "Woa, coool." Raf gazed out the open window. She looked out with him, seeing another giant robot in front of what seemed to be a giant computer. This one was red and white, and looked down at the approaching cars with a grumpy look. He had what seemed to be a heartbeat on the outside of his arm. They eventually stop, while Bumblebee open the doors and let them out in front of the two big robots. When Nova got out she heard running steps behind her, just when she turned around to see what.... was a girl with pigtail?! "Great another one" She aggrivated, tugging her hood. "I thought there were three?" The red and white bot asked Acree.  "Haven't you heard?" Arcee asked, straightening her back. "Humans multiply." 

The girl with pigtail took advantage in the breaking of the silence. "I'm Raf." He said."I'm Miko." She said, going up to the green bot."Who are you?" She asked. "Bulkhead." The green bot replied. I crossed my arms and smirked, his name suits him just well. Miko gasped."Are you a car? I bet you're a truck, a monster truck! Do you like heavy metal? How much do you weigh? Ever use a wrecking ball for a punching bag?" Bulkhead just stood there looking confused at her. She shook her head with annoyance of Miko, placing her hand in her pocket. 

"So, if you guys are robots, who made you?" Raf asked.  The orange and white bot scoffed and rolled his eyes- optics."Ugh! Puh-leez..." He said. She glared at him, and yelled, "Watch your vocal Grumpy-face." some bots snickered at what she said. he glared at her, and she glared back at him twice as much.  

 The four of them found the ground rumbling beneath their steps with yet another set of foot steps. These ones mastered even those of the green one's. They flipped around, staring at the largest bot of them all. He was red and blue in color, and Nova couldn't help but notice the strong energy which was similar to the others she encountered. It seemed the other four respected him to a grand extent, and his form screamed of leadership."We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron. Also known, as Autobots."

"Why are you here?" Jack asked, while walking up closer to him. "To protect your planet, from the Decepticons." "The jokers who tried to bump us off last night." Acree said, hands on her hips.

'So they are called Decepticons huh?'

"Okay...." Jack hesitated, turning back to the big bot. "Why are they here?" He kneeled down, bringing his chest even closer to Jack. "A fair question Jack."

"In part, they are here because our planet is uninhabitable, ravaged by centuries of civil war." He answered. Raf and Miko moved forward next to Jack while Nova was behind them. "Why were you fighting a war?" Raf asked. "Foremost, over the control of our world's supply of energon, the fuel and life blood of all Autobots, and Decepticons alike. The combat was fierce, and endured for centuries to come. In the beginning, I fought alongside one whom I considered a brother, but in war ideals can be corrupted. And it was thus, that Megatron lost his way." He finished. Nova listened to his story, she hate to admit it was interesting. 

Miko was twirling her hair when she sighed. "Is there gonna be a quiz?" She said sarcastically. "So what has Megatron, or any of this have to do with us?" Jack asked. "Megatron has not been seen nor heard from in sometime, but if his return is immanent, as I fear, it could be catastrophic." Optimus said. Nova, Raf, and Jack, both exchanged looks and nodded our heads in understanding. Miko was twirling with her hair, Nova guess that she didn't listen to half of what he had said. Typically, while shaking her head back and forth.

   "And since you know of our existence, I fear, as of last night, the decepticons know of yours." Optimus said. "Got it, if we spot any strange vehicles, call 911. Can we go now?" Jack said. "Are you insane? I'm living a dream here in Bots-wana and I will not allow you or anyone else to shatter it!" Miko said. I turned to her, "You really are absent-minded."

"Huh, what's suppose to mean?"

"You should know this isn't a game, its really a war and you think its exciting to you then you must be insane. Beside, 911 cannot help us against beings centuries older than us. All I wanted is not to be invovle in something big and now I'm surrounded by a 10 ton alien transforming robots."

"At least I'm not that crazy about this."

Jack managed to break them up before they're about to keep on going. "It is best that you four remain under our watch, at least until we can determine our enemy's intentions." Optimus stated. The orange and white bot then came and stood next to him."Optimus," he muttered. "With all due respect, the human children are in as much danger here than anywhere else."

"Children?" Jack asked, his voice lined with an offensive tone. "They have no protective shell! If they get underfoot, they will go...squish."he said, stomping his foot towards them. Jack, Raf, and Miko all took a step back except Nova stay where she was crossing her arms and said under her hood, "If your trying to scare me, I'm not impressed..." Ratchet glared at her a minute or so.  "Then for the time being Ratchet, we must watch where we step." Optimus answered, making small movements with his hands. 'Ratchet huh so that's his name.' Nova thought. Suddenly an alarm went off and the two bots turned in different directions. Ratchet then walked forward to the massive main computer as the others looked at the green screen. "What's that?" Jack asked, starting to panic a little. Bumblebee made beeping sound which Jack and Miko couldn't understand, so Raf explained what he said to them."Proximity sensor, someone's up top." Raf pointed upwards. 

  "It's Agent Fowler." Ratchet said, sounding quite grim.  

  "I thought we were the only one's who knew of you," Jack stammered. "Great, just what I thought an agent who works at the government.I take it we don't like him." Nova said.  "Special Agent Fowler is our designated liaison to the outside world. As he tends to visit only when there are...issues." Optimus Prime responded."It may be best if you do not meet him at this time."

With that said, Jack, Raf, Miko, and Nova ran over to a wall by the stairway up, hoping they wouldn't get caught. "Seven wrecks, thirty-four fender benders, a three hour traffic jam, and a ... rather peculiar note. Reports of a racing motorcycle of unknown make," a deep masculine voice resonated around the base. Optimus walked forward in the direction of the voice while the other autobots, Ratchet, in particular, rolled his eyes and walked away. "And a black and yellow custom muscle car. So, anything you care to get off that tin chest, Prime?""We have the situation under control Agent Fowler." Optimus assured him.

  "They're back aren't they?"

"If you are referring to the Decepticons, I have doubts that the ever left. Your planet is much too valuable." 

"Then, it's time to wake up the Pentagon." Agent Fowler said firmly.  

  "Hear me, Agent Fowler." Optimus leaned in even closer, seemingly to look down at the human as his voice rumbled with a depth that could not be ignored. "We are your best - possibly your only - defence against the Decepticon threat."

 "Say you." Fowler retorted.

"Hey, fleshy," Bulkhead stated. "Did anyone get splattered on that freeway? Team Prime knows when to use force, and how much to use it." He had grabbed an object off the computers next to him, smashing it in his hand. Sparks rained down to the floor below, the amount of sheer might behind the action making his point."Bulkhead, I NEED THAT!" Ratchet shouted, looking at him. Bulkhead looked at the crushed device in his hand. Nova shook her head with amusement at what happen."ENOUGH!" Optimus Ordered. "Military involvement will only result in catastrophe. Perhaps you can condone widespread human casualties Agent Fowler. I, however cannot."

  "Then do us both a favor, and handle this, Prime. Under the radar," and with that, he turned and made his way to the elevator. He tapped the button, and just as the door shut: "Or I will." And with that, he was gone and they all came out of hiding."Pretty big bearings, for a human," Bulkhead muttered, stepping beside Optimus. "A little too big if you ask me," All eyes turned to Nova. She looked away, avoiding contact.

"Agent Fowler is concerned for his world, Bulkhead, as he should be."

Ratchet nudged his way back to his computer, messing around with a few systems. Jack, Miko, and Raf  looked up and around themselves, looking at the autobots with astonishment written in their eyes once more."So what's your name?" Miko smiled at Nova, bounding to her side. She wrapped an arm around her narrow waist, and  she inwardly cringed at her heightened weakness. She released from her and said, "What you'd do that for?"

"Woah take it easy would ya? I'm just being friendly."

"Well don't do that again...."

  "Ok sheesh so I've never seen you before! What's your story, how'd you get in with the bots? "

 "I, too, would like to know of your story," Nova felt a presence behind her, and turning found Optimus kneeling beside her. "Whereas Ratchet found much on your companions, he found little to nothing on you." Nova turned away with crossed arms, "Sorry, I'm afraid I can't tell you the detail." Optimus notice the look on her face, a feeling of cautious and mistrust. However, Miko was still staring at her and for some reason the way she dress including the black hood she was covering. She thought, 'I know I've seen that face somewhere before'

Suddenly the computer made a beeping noise and Ratchet stared at the screen with wide eyes."Blasted Earth tech! Cliffjumper's life signal just popped back online!" Ratchet informed everyone."Who Cliffjumper?" Miko asked."How is that possible?" Everyone ignored her as to what Optimus said."It isn't. Another bug. The systems chock full of them." Ratchet retorted."If there's any chance Cliffs alive..." Arcee said hopefully.

"Ratchet, prepare sickbay. We may need it." He ordered. Ratchet nodded."Hey!" Miko shouted, just as they were about to head off. I glance at her on what she was going to say. Optimus was looking at her. He had his face mask on."What can we do?" "Remain with Ratchet." Optimus answered."Awww." Miko pouted."Awh." Ratchet grumbled. "Great~~~"Nova grunted.

The tunnel on the side of the wall then lighted up from light green to dark blue with white at the end lights. It looks very beautiful to me."Autobots, roll out!" Optimus shouted, transforming. The three also transformed and they drove into the light and disappeared. We just stood there on the platform, dumbstruck."What just happened?" Jack asked, dazed, as Ratchet shut the thing off."I transported them to the designated co-ordinates via ground bridge." Ratchet replied."What a ground bridge?" Raf asked. Ratchet huffed. "A scale down version of space bridge technology." He answered. Nova clarified, "So in other words; a teleportation device that is capable to transport to another destination similar to space transportation." Everyone stared at her even Ratchet. Jack asked, "How do you know that?" 

"I just guessed it...."

Jack didn't say anything as Ratchet said, "Since we don't currently possess the means or the energon required for intergalactic travel.""You're stuck here, on Earth." Jack concluded. Ratchet gave him a look."With the likes of you, yes." He retorted coldly. Nova seems very annoyed by his behavior. "Does the ground bridge work for humans." Raf asked breaking the tense moment."Naturally." Ratchet replied."You mean I could pop over and visit my parents in Tokyo?" Miko asked, sounding quite hopeful. "Within moments. In fact why don't I send you there now, all four of you." He threaten, leaning down closer to Miko. She stepped forwards."Watch it Ratchet." She scolded. Nova was amused at her for saying that, Ratchet then growled slightly before he went back to his work. 

Miko turned to her, "By the way, You still haven't tell us your name and how you got part of it?" Nova answered,  "It'll be better if you stop asking those dumb questions." The three were startled by her word as Raf asked shyly, "Can you at least tell us your name that way we might get to know you." Nova stared at the boy and she hate to admit but she doesn't want to tell anyone who she was plus doesn't like being involve. She sighed, "Fine, My name is Nova Login...Just Nova." 

Jack came up to her and said, "Nova Login? Really,  That's a strange name."

"It's the only thing I remembered... why gotta problem" which shut his mouth and turned away from her glare. What made him curious is that what did she meant the only thing she remembered.  When she heard a snapped shot, She turned to see Miko holding a cellphone. "I know I've seen your face before.... you wouldn't happen to be the mysterious Night Killer , are you?" She blinked at her, "Night Killer? Why do you call me that?" the girl in pigtail run to her and said, "Duh everyone spread rumors about you and even have pictures of you online. A girl in a black jacket who wiped out 30 thugs at night. I can't believe I get to meet you." 

  Jack said disbelief, "Wait....You kill people?!"

"No?! I didn't kill anyone, its just the nickname those stupid people just gave me since I came to Jasper. I never hurt anyone, they just pounce me first before I pounce them back."    

Then She recalled that most of the people she encounter took pictures of her since she ever came to Jasper. Everyone had been spreading rumors about her that she was a best street fighter.  She facepalmed and said, "Great, I can't believe they spread rumors of me on the internet. Believing I'm somekind of legend." Nova notice Miko was looking at some piece of alien equipment."What this anyway?" She asked moving her hand closer."Broken, don't touch." Ratchet stated, while walking over to the computer. Nova walked to another alien tech like Miko did and was about to touch it."Don't touch that either." Ratchet said without turning around. "Is there anything we can touch?" Jack asked, while walking over and standing next to Miko. Nova walked up to where the computers are, she saw  an error box popped up onto the massive green computer screen."How come you guys are using human computers?" Raf asked who was beside her. 

  "It certainly isn't by choice! It was handed down from the previous lieutenants when we inherited this, former missile silo. I make modifications as I see fit." He said. Just then, loads more error boxes showed up on the screen. Ratchet sighed in frustration."I think I can help with that." Raf said. He took out his computer from his bag and plugged it into the other computers. Nova thought, ' Something tells me this is going to be a very good show to see.' "Really? You do know this is complex technology don't you? I mean it isn't a child's toy." He started chuckling slightly while saying the last bit. Raf just keep typing in access codes and said,  "Now try."

Ratchet look back to the massive screen, pressed a button, and all the error boxes went bright green and disappeared off the screen. He turned to Raf, shocked. "Not bad, kiddo! For someone your age you just outsmarted a giant alien robot!" Nova compliment him . "Thanks." He said with a smile.

"Ratchet, bridge us back!" 

They suddenly heard Optimus say. Ratchet pulled the lever which opened the ground bridge up, Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee raced through. Optimus was speeding up from behind and transformed, with this blue like explosion shortly behind him. Ratchet pulled the lever again just before the blue stuff got right in the base. The four were all gasped impressively on how close he ended up to them and how he transformed just in time. 

  "Cutting it a bit close. How about Cliffjumper?" Ratchet then asked. The four of them then turned to Arcee. Miko chose that time to run up to the yellow metal bars."What was that explosion? Was there a fight?" Can I come with next time?" Miko questioned excitedly. Arcee growled at her. "Look..." She started, but Jack started walking up to Miko and manage to move her away. "Arcee, what did you see?" Optimus asked, kneeling in front of the smaller bot.She crossed her hands in front of her chest. "Not Cliff - at least, not anymore. He was mutated, butchered, like, something from those con experiments during the war,"She was unable to finish as she fall to her knees and grabbed hold of a massive white box and leaned herself against it. Bumblebee asked concerned as he stepped forward to her. "I'm fine, just dizzy." She said, waving her hand in dismissal.

"Robots who get dizzy?" Miko asked."Robots with emotions," Raf confirmed."Robots, who can die," Jack finalized, looking at the three of them with a nod. Nova was surprised that the Autobots are the same as humans, she hate to admit but she was fascinated.  Ratchet walked over to Arcee and a blue light scan over her body. The light went red when it ran over the female's hand. He kept on scanning until he finally stopped onto Arcee's hand. Ratchet grunted."What is this?" He asked Arcee. She shook her head and place her other hand onto her head like her head hurt or something."Don't know, Cliff was covered in it, leaking it." She answered. Ratchet gently grabbed her hand, got a knife, and scrapped some of the strange purple substance off of her hand. Nova stared at the substance as she sense something negative coming from it unlike she ever felt.

 He raised it up and looked at it."Go take a decontamination bath, now." He said. Bumblebee walked over and helped her up, leading Arcee away. Ratchet also walked off to test that purple stuff. Jack got out his phone and raised his hand."O-Optimus. I-I hate to bug, but no bars." He said, showing the bot his phone. Optimus leaned closer. "A security precaution, the silo walls isolate all radio waves." he stated. "Well if I don't call my mom like right now, I'm pretty sure the cops will be out looking for me." Jack said.

 "Have you broken a law?" Optimus leaned closer to them."Uh, curfew it's after 10 PM." Jack said."I better get home too. Or, I'll be grounded for a year." Raf said. "Earth customs, I hadn't considered, but the issue of your safety remains." Optimus said while standing back in place."Bulkhead, accompany Miko home." He said, while Bulkhead walked up to him."AWESOME! My host parents will freak!" Miko shouted all excited."And maintain convert surveillance, in vehicle form." Optimus said."Curb side duty, got it." Bulkhead replied. Miko slouched."Awww." She pouted. Nova shook her head at her and the way she acts like a kid not getting anything she wants."Bumblebee, you'll watch over Raf." He called to Bee, who nodded. Raf smiled at him being his guardian.

"Ratchet-" 

"Busy." He dismissed Optimus. "Arcee, you will accompany Jack." Prime announced. Jack rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly."Still dizzy." Arcee said, obviously not liking her new job."Your fine, says your physician." Ratchet cleverly retorted, waving an arm in the air. Arcee groaned at that."Ratchet, you will accompany her as well." Optimus called it, gesturing at Nova.

"But! Optimus! I..." He was to protest until Nova interrupted, "With all due respect, but I don't need an old geezer to watch my back. I can look after myself than being watched on." The kids and the bots were surprise of what she say, even Ratchet was offended by her behavior. "Honestly, do you enjoy putting other people down or something?" Ratchet grumbled. Nova turned to him and retorted, "No, but I do enjoy kicking others ego's to the curb when their heads desperately need deflating." She could have sworn that she heard some snickers.

"Is that so?"

  "Yes. You got a problem with that, Grumpy-Face?"  

  "Don't call me that, that is not my name," he growled. "It isn't?" She said innocently, pulling a her hood and rubbing her eyes for show. "Oops sorry, my bad would you prefer if I called you Peppermint? Or Hatchet?"  

He was about to retort when Optimus interrupt to prevent them from arguing. "I am not certain about...."Optimus said but Nova stopped him, "Look, I'll just ride on someone else, beside I get avoided very easily where I don't get any attention. Believe me, I know your concern about my safety but like i said I can take care of myself and I take no for an answer. " As Nova hoped into Bulkhead with Miko and left the base.

As they arrived on the street, Nova came out and head to the alley. Miko said who was on the driver seat, "This is where you hang.....Shouldn't you be home?"

"Actually, I don't have a home.....I'm homeless girl who has nowhere to go."

Bulkhead said who was shocked, "Why didn't you tell us earlier? You could have stay in the base."

"Yeah Dude you could have a cool bot on your side? Like Optimus...."

Nova turned to her, " Even if I do stay in the base, that grumpy guy won't like that plus that leader might be pretty busy with his duty. Look, I'll be fine beside I can take care myself. Thank you very much."

Bulkhead said unsure, "I don't know beside it might be dangerous...."She mumbled, "The only one who should be dangerous is me...."

Miko said, "What?"

"Nothing, thx for the ride look you can just find me again on the streets to go back to base. Not becoz I want to but being involve in this mess. See ya"

"Sure.....See you later, Night Killer."

"Don't call me that, Pig-tail."She reminded as Miko and Bulkhead left the area. Nova walked along the streets until she reached the abandoned construction site. She crawl into the ferris wheel cabin that was beside the pipes as she slept in.
