In the hospital, every doctor and nurse were busy tending to the patients. A nurse was looking through a file when a doctor came to her and said, "I need you to come with me to Room 313." June understood as she followed the doctor to the hallway. SHe asked, "What's the matter?"

"Yes, I think there's something wrong with the patient." He said with concerned

"What is it?"

"Last night, our client brought a unconscious girl here in the hospital and she was found outside of Jasper, filled with injuries. However, when they were checking on the patient, one of my nurse showed me a file that there is no blood type listed on the patient.

"Could that be a type-o?"

"No, the owner of this file has a rare blood disease that, somehow prevents them from having a normal blood type. Her blood is a different color too."

"Her blood is different color?! What color is it?"

"They informed me that her blood is.....blue. It was extraordinary unlike I ever encounter this type of disease."

"Is there a name for this disease?" The nurse took up a pen, "I can complete the file if I knew."

The doctor looked at her. "Under blood type put BL. That will tell others that the patient has the Aer-Caedis disease."

"Yes sir...Um, what patient is this, again?"

"Unfortunately, the driver who owned a delivery truck, told me that he couldn't hear her name due to the exhaustion plus she doesn't even have an ID or a wallet."

"Poor girl, Can you describe her?"

"Well, she was wearing dirty worn-out white clothes for some reason and had blue eyes, also she had blue hair."

She took notes of it as they were about to reached Room 313 when they heard a crashing sound. Both of them were startled by the noise as they rushed to the room, only to see 3 injured nurse and one doctor. They looked over to the patient's bed which was empty and the room was a mess. They went over to the nurse who regained conscious as she asked what happened. "I don't know, she just woke up all of a sudden and started to get up. The doctor told her to rest when she punched him. We tried to restrain her but she manage to evade us and injured us." the 2nd nurse said weakly. The doctor asked where did she go as the nurse slowly lifted her weak arm and pointed at the open window where the wind was blowing the curtain. June looked out from the window and said disbelief, "THat's impossible....this is the 5th floor?! How was she able to get down from here?" Unfortunately, the patient who was far from the hospital, started walking and limping with her hair glow. Running from the hospital, wandering on the street and never to be seen again.

Back to the present

At night, June Darby came out from the store to buy the things she need. She was about to head around the corner where she parked her car when she bumped into two men. She said apologetic, "Sorry...." she was about to leave when a man grabbed her wrist. "Hey....not so fast where do you think your going?"

"Going home."

The 2nd man said in suave tone, "Why in a rush? Why don't you hang out with us for a drink?"

"No thank you.....but really I must go now. So pls remove your hand."

However, he didn't released his hand as took a tight grip. "That's not an option...." He said as he pulled her. She doesn't like the looks on their faces, she knew she would run into two strangers. She was about to bring her pepper spray when a hand appeared in front of the man's face which released her. She turned to see who it was which turned out to be the girl in black hood. The man had a frightened look on his face along with his partner when he saw a hand was pointing in his face. The girl spoke, "I'm sorry.....this lady said No, but if you have business with her, I'll be glad to hear it." 

She lifted her face revealing a murderous look piercing through their gaze as she added, "Well, unless you want your eyes to be gauge out, I'll listen to anything you have to say........"

The two man staggered as they run away from the two girls. The woman turned to the hooded girl as she said, "You should be careful when it comes to strangers."

As she was about leave, June recognized her face as she said to her, "Wait....Aren't you the girl who brought the injured man into our hospital?"

The hooded girl turned around and squinted at her. She replied, "Your the nurse from the hospital?"

"You left right after I was about to question you, Did anyone told you not to turn your back when someone talking to you?"

The hooded girl gave a hardened look then turned away as she asked, "Is the man well?"

"He's....... alright now that he's injuries is healed."

"Good then there's no reason for me to answered the questioned now is there."

JUne blinked at her reply as the hooded girl said, "Be careful on your way home, you never know there might be.....RATS roaming around the streets." Without a word, she left June alone on the street. She tried to call the hooded girl but she was far away and disappeared around the corner. Despite her age, June was surprised that she saved her even though she brought pepper spray but the way she faced two man.....she must have learned how to defend herself. It was ashamed she didn't get a chance to know who she is and wasn't able to thank her. She went to her car as she looked back to where the hooded girl went. If she ever see her again, she'll have to thank her properly. While she was driving her car, she wondered if her son came home from curfew.

The NEXT DAY

It was almost dinner, Nova was wandering on the street to find something to eat and hasn't been in the base for awhile. She stumbled upon a restaurant where she sees different kind of food. She sighed that she doesn't have money, all she did was hacked into the vending machines. She was about to leave when a voice called to her. "Hey, Wait?!"

Nova turned to voice only to recognize the woman from last night. She walk towards Nova, wondering if she's here to lecture her. She stopped in her track and said, "I knew I might find you again." Nova stared at her and said suspiciously, "You were....looking for me?"

"There's something I wanna say......thank you."

"For what?" Nova asked confusion.

"For saving me last night, I guess for a teenager you really know how to defend yourself."

Nova blinked at her, she was praising about her fighting skill and also thanking her. "Well, It was the right thing to do."Nova said nonchalant. 

"So why were you standing in front of the baker shop?"SHe questioned. Nova didn't want to answer however her rumbling sound give away.

"Uh, well, I wanted to buy food but I realized I didn't have any money." Nova muttered. "Oh that's too bad. How much do they cost?" The woman asked.

"I think its expensive."

"I see...." she looked at time before turning to her, "Would you like come over dinner at my house? My car is not very far...."

Nova blinked that she invited her for dinner, she didn't want to but June insist she want to. Without a word, she decided to accept her invitation. Nova slowly nodded which made June glad as she was about fetch her car.

"Wait!" The Nova cried. "What's your name?"

"June." The woman smiled. "June Darby."

Nova halted in her track as she replied, "Nova....Nova Login."

Nova is inside the car, sitting at the passenger seat while June was at the driver's seat. 'June Darby.....Is she related to Jack Darby? Nah....that can't be.' Nova thought, staring at the window where she sees the streets passing by. "So... Does your parents know where you are?" She spoke. Nova flinched for a bit and she knew she can't tell her that she is an orphan with no memory and hanging with autobots. Nova doesn't want to happen if she's involve in her mess. She sighed and had no choice but to lie her way. Nova said, "My parents....passed away when I was teenager. I lived alone and I worked in a workshop as a part timer."

June's eye widened when she buy her story, she felt pity for a teenager to live alone and working hard on herself. "I'm sorry....Must be hard to live alone." She said.

"It's alright.... I maybe alone but I had to stay strong as long as I live."

"I see....so what kind of workshop exactly?"

"Workshop for uh.....cars and motorbikes."

It would seem she was able to fool June but she felt bad lying to her. As they reached their destination, It was no doubt it was Jack's house which Nova recognize, she really is Jack's mother. She couldn't believe she was with his mother as both of them entered in the house. June told her to sit on the living room while she prepared food. Nova removes her hood and sat on the sofa which was very soft compared to the couch back in the base. She stood up as she looked around to see a small table, lampshade, TV, fireplace and other things she sees. It was the first time she sees what home looks like, she envy Jack for having a family.

Family.

Nova lowered her head, wondering if she had one which made a sigh of depression. She stared at the every pictures of Jack and his mother, she was amused to see his childhood memories. Then, she notice the picture of Jack with his mother and his father but she wonder why there's only one picture. Now she thought about it, she hasn't seen Jack's father around the house. Campy came out from her pocket which Nova shoved him back inside to prevent June from seeing a srcaplet. June called behind her, "Nova?"

Nova turned with a startled which June was staring at her appearance. "So that's what you look like under hood. Did you dye your hair?" Nova know what dye is as she replied, "Um actually.....I was born this way."

June was surprised as she told her dinner is ready. She was guided to sit on the chair where the table is as the woman went into the kitchen before handing it to Nova. "Here you go sweetie."

"Uh....thanks." Nova said, slightly surprised that someone would give a complete stranger food. "No problem. Its the least I can do when you saved me." The woman smiled at her as NOva stared at her food. It has rice with something on it; it had veggies and a strange looking meat. She has eaten fast food before but she never experience eating real food. She picked her spoon as she started tasting it. Her eye's widened as she began to eat everything. It tasted really good better than the fast food she tried, it was her first time eating real food. Nova said, "THis is so good.....your really a good cook."

June smiled at her compliment which led Nova gave a sheepish look. June said pleasantly, "I'm glad you like it." While Nova was eating, she looked up at June's gentle face. She felt a strange feeling when she stared at her for some reason. NOva doesn't know why as she shook her head of feeling and asked, "So...um...Can I ask? That picture....I couldn't help but notice that your husband is not here."

June smile dropped when she was startled by the question. NOva notice her look as she said, "Sorry, just forget what I said...I didn't mean..." June assured its alright as she lowered her head with a depressed look. (A/N I don't know what happened to Jack's father so Its just made up)

"My husband left us since we argued and fought each other. From that, he is no longer with us and was never seen again so we moved here just to move on with our lives, it was hardest day for me."

Nova was taken back of her word and felt pity about June doing the work and taking care of JAck. "I'm sorry.....it must be really hard on you to lose a part of it."

"Yes, It's not always easy to understand his choices... but we have to stand behind them. He may be gone but I'm still able to take care of my son"

Nova lowered her head with a sympathetic look, not showing in front of her. She said, "You really are Jack's mother."

"You know Jack!?"

"We sort of.....bumped into each other."

"THen, I guess you must be Jack's friend?"

Nova don't know what to replied and answered, "I.....don't know." June got confused and wanted to questioned but decided not to. Nova finished her food much to June's satisfaction. Before she took her plate, she head to the kitchen which Nova followed her. June was about to wash the dishes but Nova volunteered to help her. While washing the dishes, She saw June trying to turn the microwave on but it wasn't working which made her sighed in annoyance. Nova asked, "Is something wrong?" June said, "It seems the microwave the isn't working, It's been like this 2 weeks ago. It must be busted and I don't know if I had enough money to fix this."Nova stared at JUne then at the microwave, she was kind to give her food so she had to return the favor. Nova suggested, "Maybe I can help fix it."

"You can?"

"I may not be able to know maintenance but I want to try....."

June thought about it then decided to let Nova try to fix it. Nova checked the microwave however she had no idea how to fix it. She doesn't want to disappoint JUne so she had an idea; she make sure she doesn't see her hand touched on the microwave which the blue tron lines appeared and making a strange sound before it shut off. JUne got confused of the sound as Nova placed it back then pressed the button which was working. June said surprised, "I don't believe it.....It took 3 days to fix it but you manage to fix for 10 minutes. How did you do that?"

"Let's just say.....I have a way with machines."NOva replied, not revealing about her technopathy power. She almost jumped in surprise when she felt a soft hand stroking her..... almost comfortingly. She looked up to see June stroking her head with a sincere smile. "Thank you Nova, you've been such a good girl." She said with gratitude. Nova stared at her face for a minute until she began to see an image which it showed a lowered face woman stroking her head and mouthed, 'Good girl....Nova.' before she came back from reality.

June asked concerned, "Nova, are you alright? You've been spacing there...."Nova replied, "No.....It's nothing just nothing." After that, Nova thanked her for the food as she left the house. Nova was left with an odd tingling feeling where June had touched her head, the moment she left the house. She put her hand on her head, but it didn't feel the same.

3 DAYS LATER

Nova didn't went back to the construction site instead she watched June from the distance. She watches her goes to work in the hospital and sometimes crossed her path which June delighted to see her. She often see her on the street and helped her carry her grocery bags, despite the protest. She always greeted June whenever she passes by and often given treats from her. She didn't know why she was doing but she seems to grow attached to her.

However, She regretted herself that she shouldn't become so open with everyone like she is. Doing so was extremely dangerous; getting close to anyone was dangerous. She could not, she would not, make the same mistakes again. She swear to herself and she fully intended to uphold it. But for JAck's mother.....she is different from the other people she encounter. She couldn't get her thought out of her head last night. She wondered why she was seeing the lady in her vision and had an odd feeling, every time June was beside her.

Campy nudge her hand to get her attention as NOva questioned, "Sorry Campy, I was lost in thought....it's just I couldn't stop thinking about Jack's mother, I never expected her to be...... kind. I don't know what is this feeling whenever I see her."She stood up from her park and went for a stroll with Campy on her arms. She was heading towards to KO burger across the street where Jack was working. She saw JAck at the drive through and for some reason Arcee wasn't with him. Nova went over there which Jack was surprised to see her. "Oh Nova, I didn't see you there."Jack said sheepishly. Nova looked around and asked, "WHere's Arcee? Wasn't she suppose to be with you?"

Jack sighed as he told everything to her that his mother got mad that he's been breaking curfew and neglecting his job and schoolwork. She believes he may have been racing his motorcycle and grounds him for the next few weeks-with no motorcycle use. He also points out that if Arcee doesn't stay in the garage, his mom will think he's breaking her rules. Nova said, "That's disappointing."

"Yeah....I know. I can't believe she grounded me for this. Anyway, I gotta get go now, got orders to filled."He said, as he was typing at the cash register which he was frustrated that monitor was glitching. NOva noticed it and said, "Having problem?"

Jack didn't replied which proved her point as he watched Nova placed her hand on the cash register which shows the blue tron-line spreading and glowed brightly before it went out. Jack tried the cash register and it worked, much to his surprise. "H-How did you do that?" Nova replied to him, "Let's just.....I learned a few tricks."

After she left the KO burger, It was almost night time and Nova was about to head to path where the construction site is until she stopped on her track and switched direction. Nova doesn't know why she change direction but she felt the urged to visiting June again. When she recalled the time June stroke her head, a fragment of memory appeared in her mind. She thought maybe if she visits her, she might remember most of her memory.

It was almost evening, Nova was walking along the sidewalk when she saw Jack riding on his bicycle in speed, not noticing her pass by. Nova and Campy stared at each other as she head to where Jack is.

"JACK!"

When she reached there, she saw June Darby walking outside, looking pretty mad. Nova placed Campy behind her hood as she hid behind Jack's house. "I can't believe you disobeyed me! Where is the motorcycle?!" June scolded, putting her hands on her hips with her back to the garage door. Nova blinked while watching or......spying at them."Uh.. What do you mean? She's right where I left her." Jack said as he got out of his bike and pushed the garage opener in his mom's car.

June turned around as the door opened up too see the motorcycle there. She turned back around, "Did you get one of your crew here to sneak it in? Or did you just walk it up again.."

Jack sighed, slumping over, "Okay... mom. Do you really want to know?"

Nova bit her lip with realization, "Jack...don't even think it."

She saw Arcee moving forward a bit, they both knew what he was about to do and it wasn't good. Jack walked to his bike and said, "Fasten your seat belts.. My motorcycle is a sentient robotic organism from a distant planet, part of a team stationed here on Earth. They're in a secret war and I spend most of the time after school hanging with my crew." Nova facepalmed of his foolish choice.

"Jack." June said. Jack turned to her, "The coolest thing is this isn't her actual form." He motioned to Arcee, "She's really a giant robot who can transform into a vehicle."

June sighed, "Enough Jack."

Jack crossed his arms, "It's okay Arcee, show yourself."

Nova watched Arcee as she stayed still and didn't even turn her engine/lights on. "Oh great." She said disappointed.

Jack laughed nervously, "She's shy..... Arcee.....Really. No more hiding, no more lies. Oh come on, roll out already!" He kicked her back tire out of anger. NOva couldn't stand it as she came out of her hiding and walk towards them. NOva spoke, "Don't blame him, June. It wasn't his fault."which caught their attention. June said surprised, "NOva?"

Jack looked left and right at them and pointed, "Wait, you know her?"

"Of course Jack, She's the one who fixed the microwave that I told you about. So you took the motorcycle?"June turned to Nova who was standing there. Nova knew she wanted an explanation, she wanted to help Jack but she can't allow to put June in danger if she found out about the alien warfare. "I.....I was the one who took the motorcycle becoz Jack told me he had problem with the gear so....I took it to my workshop and had it fix before I snuck it in the garage before you came home. I'm.....sorry, June."Nova said with a demeanor look. Which left Jack with a shocked look on his face as he stared at June was looking at NOva to see whether she tells the truth. JUne walked to her and placed her hand on her head.

She smiled politely at her and said, "Well, at least you told me, next time don't do that again." Nova flinched by her touched then she felt a wave of assurance comforting her which she was fond of being pat on the head. June stared back at her son, frowning softly. "So, um.. The bad crowd you've been hanging around with is a science fiction club?..." She looked at her watch, "I have to get back to work, We will continue this when I get home. That same goes for you, Nova. YOu should get home as well."

NOva watched as June got in her car and drove off before slipping into her car. As she left the house, Jack turned to Arcee who seems not very happy about it. Jack turned to Arcee, "Thanks for the support, partner." Arcee said to him, "Don't blame me. Remember."

"I know, I know. You don't exist."

Nova narrowed her eyes at him and said, "Jack....I know you wanted to tell your mother the truth. But getting Arcee to reveal herself and let her involve in their war, Do you think she would accept the truth?!"

"Look, I just I can't keep lying to my mom or she'll never believe me."

"JAck do you recall when I asked that do you cherished your family and your home? Are you willing to lose your mother, the only family you had?"

Jack was taken back by her words as he lowered his head with unsure look. Nova said, proving her point, "I didn't think so......it would be better if your mother doesn't put herself in danger. Don't lose the only thing precious to you and I don't want anything happen to her."Nova turned around and was about to leave when Arcee questioned, "You seem so concerned about June so much, almost like you've grown fond of her."

Nova halted from her track as she turned to him, "I....don't know, all I know is that she did something good for me for a change. I'll never forget her kindness.....her kindness remind me of someone I once knew from my past."Jack and Arcee shared an exchange glance as Jack said, "Wait.....your starting to remember? Since when?"

"A few weeks ago, what made me curious is that.....whenever I see her, I kept seeing fragments of my past. Little by little, whatever is keeping me from getting my memories back, doesn't want me to learn about my past. For now, I don't want June to be put in danger." With that, she left Jack's house, leaving Jack and Arcee speechless. Nova had a stoic look on her face which she couldn't understand why she cares about Jack's mother so much.

Later

Nova still having thoughts why she's so fond of JUne was questionable. She tried to recall some memories but only shows tiny bits of images, showing a mysterious woman with a smile. She clenched her head in pained, almost like it was drilling her mind. "Who is she? Why does she look like her?" She said, cringe from the headache. Campy tilted his head in confusion before Raf saw her sitting on the sidewalk beside the lamp post. Raf went over to her and said, "Nova?" Nova snapped out of her thought as she turned to see Raf in front of her. Nova stood up and said, "Oh Raf, its just you....." She picked up Campy from the ground.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm alright....just lost in thought."

"Oh, I'm glad becoz for a second there you seem to have trouble."

Raf wasn't wrong but he was right about it. Nova had been having trouble trying to figuring out about herself. Nova wondered if she might regain her memories is....by visiting June. She turned to Raf, "Raf, would you mind do me a favor?" Raf said surprised, "Um...sure." Nova placed Campy on his arms which Raf and the scraplet stared at her curiously.

"WOuld you mind look after Campy for bit?"

"Huh....Why?"

"Becoz...I have someplace I need to be. I going to meet someone so please take care of him for me. I promise I'll get him back when I'm done."

Raf wanted to ask her question but she had serious look on her face. Something tells him it must be personal. So he gave an assure smile and said, "Sure, I'll take good care of him." Nova nodded of his approval as she told Campy that she will be back for him and left. She head back to Jack's place which she recalled that his mother would come home. Night had fallen, She arrived at Jack's house across the street, she was about to head there when she heard a very loud, very high pitched squealing noise. She covered her ears that had hurt her head so much until the squealing noise stopped, "What was that? I could hear it all the way over here." She growled. Then, she felt an uneasy feeling that something wasn't right as she rushed over to the garage only to see Arcee and Jack.

Nova asked, "Jack, Arcee what's going on? Where are you going?"Jack explained that MECH kidnapped his mother and followed the coordinates that was given. Upon hearing, Nova's blood boiled in anger that it was unforgivable for MECH to involve June in danger. How dare they took an innocent woman?

Jack was about to get on Arcee when Nova told that she's coming with them. Jack asked, "No NOva these guys are too dangerous."Nova said with a serious look, "She may not be my problem......I am not going to let some buffoon heads do to June. And don't concern yourself, Remember I can take care of myself, even if it kills me."

"But....."

"I'm going to be fine?! The way I feel, no mugger or murderer would dare mess with me."

Which scared Jack as he decided to let Nova come along. As Nova clung to Jack's waist while followed the coordinates to the facility as Silas instructed, they couldn't help but worry about her. "If anything happens to her because of my connection to all this..." Jack started.

Arcee cut him off, "Jack, Mech is only interested in me. Once they get what they want, they'll let your mom go."

"That's not exactly reassuring. You're family too."

Family? Those word repeat over and over again, even the voices. She couldn't questioned herself why does she felt strange whenever she heard it. She should figure it out later after they save Jack's mother.Nova 's hands formed into balls, ready to use her powers if necessary. Eventually, they arrived at a disused factory. As they slowed to a stop, red lasers were on them. Looking up, they saw MECH insurgents aiming their weapons at them. "Scrap." Nova muttered quietly, regretting she left Campy with Raf.

"So.....what's the plan?" Jack asked Arcee.

"The usual," Arcee answered then speed through the enemy lines and ended up in a warehouse. "Mom?!" Jack called out getting off of Arcee.

Nova heard some clinking noises then a very large, spider's shadow on the floor. She recognize the sound that she didn't want to meet or see.

"Looking for June?"

Alarmed, Jack and Nova turned to the wall above the main entrance. Her eyes widened at the spider-like creature. She shrugged casually, "She's hanging around here somewhere."

"Airachnid." Arcee hissed.

Arachnid moved suddenly and Nova saw what was going to happen but couldn't react in time, and Arcee was caught in webbing, "What's she doing here?" Jack asked terrified.

"Help them, please. They're human like you." Arcee begged Silas, trying to get them to let Jack and Nova go, "You can't let Arachnid..." Silas cut her off, "A few human lives are a small price to pay for the miracles of science like yourself."He turned to one of his men and nodded, he shot Arcee and knocked her out.

"ARCEE!" Jack yelled as they watched Arcee fall to the ground unconscious. "You and I will have a private session later. Promise," Airachnid vowed with a smirk. "Gentlemen," Silas said. A few soldiers stepped forward and searched him. From Jack, they took the communicator that was sent to him and Jack and his cell phone. Arachnid then turned to NOva, "Well, it's been a long time since I've seen you, my pet. How do you like the mark I left for you?"Nova glared at her, clutching her left arm where her scar is. "Not very pleased of the mark you gave me and don't call me your pet."She said stoically. "Hehe.....I'm glad you appreciated." She petted her head with her left claw in a playful manner which Nova swatted her finger as she turned to Silas. Silas said, "I didn't knew an ex con could mark you as a pet."

"So, your Silas aren't you?" Nova questioned.

"Indeed, I am."

She notice the look on his face almost like he was inspecting her. "Didn't you get what you wanted when you butchered Breakdown? You're dissecting living beings why can't you see how wrong that is." Nova said. She watched his footing trying to predict his movement as she tried to figure out a plan.

He then chuckled and shook his head, "Your mistaken, you see in the end I want Arcee and Jack Darby, but I didn't expect that you will come along with them as well." He said as Nova had to admit she was confused as she frowned at his comment. "No see, there's this little piece of history I forgot to deal with... when I saw your face as I was going through Jackson Darby's social networking page. And it burned into my mind and I had to do a little research, obviously it's been years and you have haven't changed dramatically...but now i finally found you." He said with a distasteful smile on his face.

'Been Years? Was he playing with me?' Her curiosity got the better of her so she asked. "What do you mean 'finally' found me?" 

"Why...after the incident at the secret base, you seemingly just disappeared out of sight i was never able to find you...well until now." He said a bit too pleased. Jack was confused what he was implying, even Arachnid was curious.

"I don't understand any of this.....your not making any sense."

He then laughed. "You are naive, aren't you? I figured as much.....you really don't remember. It would seem the side effect must have been effective."

"What is he talking about?" JAck asked but Nova didn't replied. Silas then cleared his throat. "Perhaps this will let your friend know who you truly are...." He gestured to NOva, "Jack Darby, ....May I present to you the infamous assasin; Agent Reaper. The experiment that created the first human to wield power and live to tell the tale."

The instant she heard that name, she felt a strong pinch in her head and a flash occurred in her mind as more memories returned to remind her of what she'd forgotten; this time, though, she saw brief images of a mysterious lady defending Nova from Silas where he was holding a gun. Although the new memories restored were few, Nova recalled who he really was from before.

Her eyes widened. "I-It was you..." Nova said stunned, instantly became dry.

"Now do you see?" he said calmly.

"It was you!" She said more bitterly this time. Jack asked, "What's wrong?"

"I may not remember most of them but there is one memory I will never forget...."She looked up with a murderous look, "I will never forget your face....Leland Bishop." Arcee and Jack was surprised when she called him that name.

He said pleasantly, "Ah, you even remember my old name as well but its ashamed I abandoned that name long ago."

"I don't care if I remember anything but I want you to tell me where June is, Now?!" She said with her eyes flickered glowing blue, much to their surprised by her outburst. Silas noticed that angry look, wondering why she was concerned until he realized.

"Ah I see now....she reminded of someone, don't you? Come to think of it, she really does look like her. That researcher had fire in her, pity she betrayed us after what she did. "

Jack thought, 'what does he mean she looked like my mom?'

"Do you really actually believe your friends gonna accept you? After keeping them in the dark...."

Jack asked, "In the dark? What did he mean by that?" Nova didn't pay attention as Silas said, "She's not even completely a human. No one else has a weapon and skill like hers. She killed 13 targets from every state. How do you think she was capable in fighting off my men without hesitation?" Arachnid said intrigue, "My my I never knew there was another ex con like myself could be capable such a sport."

"I killed.....people." Nova said disbelief.

"Oops...I said too much, didn't I? But then again, I knew I would find you again."

"Is this true, Nova?" Jack asked with worry in his voice. Nova was too stunned to talk or move after hearing about everything that have been said. "Nothing to say , pity." Silas turned to one of his soldier next to him fired his gun and tranquilize Nova which knocked her out.

"Nova?!" Jack said bent down next to Nova. Arachnid walked over and said, "I'm still learning about humankind, but one thing is clear to me Jack...you people care deeply about family. Therefore, the sweetest revenge I could possibly devise would be to make you watch as I take your family apart."

Jack started shaking in anger, "If you hurt my mother..."

Arachnid didn't let him finish, "You remember how much I enjoy sport, don't you Jack? So I'll give you the opportunity to save your mother. I've stashed her close by." She looked at the clock and so did Jack, "If you can rescue her before the stroke of twelve, I will let both of you go unharmed. Deal?"

"And if I can't?" Jack asked, knowing this wasn't going to be easy.

"What do you think?"

Jack looked at her then ran to Silas, "Please, don't let her do this. You can let us go. We-we won't tell anyone." He pleaded. Silas pushed his hands away before pushing him away. "Enough," Silas growled.

Arachnid bent down next to him, "Yes Jack. Man up already, six minutes." Jack quickly stood and began running out of the room. Arachnid stared down at Nova who was lying unconscious on the floor. Two men were about to take her however she slammed her legs between them. She turned to Silas, "I don't know why you want Nova but just to let you know; none of you shall touch her."

 Silas said, "Reason?"

"She's already marked as my pet so don't touch her till I'm done." as she left the facility to trailed Jack. Some of the other men dragged Arcee to a metal slab in the middle of the room, "Now I know we promised the spider 'bot that she would have first crack at you, but something tells me she plans to turn our mutual crisscross into a double-cross." He said before turning to NOva who was unconscious and ordered them to guard her. They saluted as they carry her and left her leaning against the wall.

"Silas, we don't have the means of transporting it right now," one operative proclaimed.

"We'll have to cut and run," Silas declared, "Open her up."

While they were busy, numerous operatives worked to free Arcee from her sticky binds. But for Silas, they were going to slow. Much too slow for his liking. "Make haste, gentlemen. And don't worry about making a mess," Silas advised.

MECH were certainly making haste concerning the cutting the webs trapping Arcee. At that time, Arcee began to come to from her unconsciousness. She heard Airachnid's voice from the footage Silas was watching.

"Jack, don't leave her dangling."

"YOU MONSTER! STOP THIS!"

Those words made Arcee gasp and glare angrily at the screen. However, she immediately had to slip into her temporary role as the webbing trapping Arcee was removed. "We only have time to take one part. Go straight for the heart," Silas instructed. However, The sounds of the drill stirred Nova from her unconscious state. She saw the MECH operative bring the drill closer to Arcee's chassis. Just under the rise and fall of her structure. The center of the drill was positioned directly at it.

"NO!" Nova screamed as she got up past from the two soldiers and blasted her lightning power at the operative. Arcee snapped her eyes opened by the distraction and swatted the drill away from her chest so she could sit up without accidentally drilling them an all-access path to her spark. Like she did with the drill, she swatted all of the humans away from her body. But more came at her, Nova did a roundhouse kick and punching jab at the soldiers before running to Arcee.

"Nice touch with the scream and the blast," Arcee remarked. "Not actually my idea at the time," Nova retorted as she heard the shots when she formed a shield around them, "Come on. Let's go."

Immediately, Arcee transformed into her vehicular mode and Nova was about to climbed on,She cringed when she felt something shot passed her right upper arm which she clutched it. Arcee said worriedly, "Nova!!"

"I'm fine?! Go Go!!" She said quickly, ignoring the pain on her shoulder before she climbed on Arcee. Within seconds, they were racing out of the warehouse to find Jack and June and save them from Airachnid.

All they could pray for was that...They wouldn't be too late. "Let them go. No matter the outcome, the spoils will be ours," Silas proclaimed.

Meanwhile, Jack continued used to singlehandedly loosen the web trapping his hand. So far, it wasn't going so well. And the constant feeling of Airachnid looming over his shoulder did not help his dilemma. But this feeling of Airachnid looming over his shoulder was correct.

"Well, Jack, if you won't decide, I guess it's lady's choice," Airachnid said as she crawled down to the whimpering June.

"Mum, I'm sorry," Jack sobbed.

"NOOOOOOOOO!" June screamed.

The familiar sound of a motorcycle ripped through the air with June's screams. Nova jumped off mid-air and landed next to Jack behind Airachnid. Together, the two watched as Arcee yelled out in determination. Arcee transformed into mid-air and tackled Airachnid hard. "You just can't stay away, can't you?" Nova as she used her lightning power on the web.

"I don't know how I lived the first two months of my life," Jack smiled before screaming, "OW! HOT!"

"Sorry," She apologized as she then ripped the webs off. "Jack, your motorcycle?" June started as both of them began working on freeing June from her sticky webby confinements.

"I can explain, mum!" Jack promised before going, "Wait. I already did."

Arcee and Airachnid continued their fight along the chutes connected the towers. Arcee did backflips down the chute and Airachnid slowly walked towards her. Knowing that the blades have been known to be her most dangerous weapon, Arcee unfolded the blades from his arms and stood ready to fight the now ex-Decepticon who had kidnapped her, tortured her, sliced Tailgate into two.

"MECH lost Breakdown. What were the chances they could hold onto you?" Airachnid asked rhetorically.

The fight officially started there for Arcee and Airachnid. Arcee went to jump and attack her from behind. But Airachnid grabbed her with her spider claws and threw her in front of her once again. Arcee ran up to Airachnid and started swinging at her. There were some hits Airachnid was able to block. However, there were some hits that Airachnid was unable to block. Such as the kick where Arcee knocked Airachnid to the chute next to her and jumped down in front of her.

However, this time, Airachnid gained the upper hand over the Autobot femme. With one slap, Arcee fell and rolled on the ground before standing once again. She back flipped away from Airachnid and began climbing the tower. Airachnid immediately followed. The two managed to sustain some hits during the climb. The situation escalated when Airachnid began firing laser beams from her hands. The shot rocked the tower and caused the walkway holding June to bend. Jack and Nova almost fell off. But they managed to grab the ledge and each other tight.

"JACK! NOVA!" June cried.

"MUM/June!" Jack and Nova screamed.

"CHILDREN!" June wailed as Airachnid climbed closer.

Arcee jumped from the other side of the tower and knocked Airachnid to the ground. Arcee nearly fell over the edge towards the ground. Thankfully, she grabbed the railing and pulled herself up over the edge before fighting Airachnid once again.

Jack pulled himself back onto the walkway before pulling Nova up with him. As Nova climbed up, she accidentally hit a switch that was nearby on the controls. When she did, Jack and Nova heard a lurching sound just behind them. They saw one of the chutes and saw concrete spilling out and into one of the towers, Jack looked at Nova.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Jack said. Nova nodded eagerly.

Arcee and Airachnid continued their little fight, oblivious to Jack and Nova's plan. Airachnid hit Arcee hard enough to knock her over the edge of the tower. But she didn't fall. She grabbed one of the railings and climbed back up, dodging Airachnid's hits. Arcee jumped in the air, flipped and went down feet-first on top of Airachnid, knocking her into one of the concrete containers below. Arcee then jumped onto a pipe and looked at Jack and Nova who were standing at the controls. She nodded at them and Jack made some changes to the control system. They activated the concrete-pouring mechanism and Arcee kicked the pipe until it was over Airachnid. Airachnid looked up and realized what was about to happen.

Airachnid screamed and sat up as the concrete was poured all over her. She began to fight the effects. But there was nothing that she could do. The concrete had already begun to set and Airachnid was frozen like a statue. Unable to move. Her purple eyes still glowed among the dull grey that outlined her body. Arcee stood over the solidified Airachnid, impressed with the outcome. After so much suffering caused by Airachnid over the years, it was finally over.

"JACK! NOVA!" she heard June scream in fear.

Arcee immediately turned to see that June was still hanging in webs from the tower in fear. As Arcee went to rescue her, the concrete encasing Airachnid cracked as she began to work to set herself free from encasement. However, Arcee was oblivious as she began to climb the tower.

"Hang on, June," Arcee said.

Suddenly, a web grabbed her from behind and pulled her to the ground. Arcee fell with a surprised yell. And when she landed, Airachnid's webs pinned her down, leaving her unable to stand. Airachnid chuckled as her concrete form stood over her vulnerable captive.

Suddenly, they heard the familiar sounds of helicopters whirring above them. Everyone looked up and saw three helicopters rapidly approaching the scene. Leading the pack of helicopters is Agent William Fowler himself. "Aim for the creepy-crawly," Fowler instructed his men.

The soldier next to him nodded and pressed the red button on top of the gearstick. Shots came from each of the helicopters. All of them aimed at Airachnid. They all went across the ground, slowly heading towards Airachnid. She grunted and tried to shield herself from the pelting of the bullets.

Silas watched on. Honestly, he was confused and angry. He was angry over their plans being spoiled and that they were found so easily by Fowler and his men. But what confused him is HOW Fowler had managed to find them so easily.

"How did they find us?" Silas demanded.Then he moved his hand to his belt and felt something was missing, looking down he saw it was his walky-talky. Then it dawned at him.

"You can let us go! We won't tell anyone!" Jack swore as he clung to Silas' chest armor.

But as Silas swatted him away, Jack discretely reached for his pockets and took his communicator. When he was clear, he used the communicator to contact Fowler.

End flashback

"Thanks for coming, Agent Fowler," Jack thanked.

"Had I known there'd be a 'Con involved, I would've called in Prime," Fowler remarked.

"That would have been too much for mum to handle in one night," Jack retorted.

Fowler only nodded in understanding as he and his men continued firing at Airachnid. She continued to defend herself. Dust began to build up around her. The dust blocked their target so Fowler and his men ceased fire. Well...that and they ran out of projectiles. When the dust cleared, Airachnid was free from the concrete casing. Her purple eyes turned green as she aimed scanners at Fowler's helicopter. Fowler was annoyed that a Decepticon was scanning a government-issue aircraft to use as their vehicular mode...AGAIN!

"Argh! NOT AGAIN!" Fowler exclaimed in annoyance as he pounded his fist onto his thigh.

Inside the warehouse, Silas watched in interest as Airachnid scanned in her new vehicular mode. He was amazed at how easily they adapted to the planet's technology...with a few of their own modifications, of course. He watched as Airachnid jumped into the air and transformed into her new alt mode for the first time.

"NO!" Arcee screamed as she saw Airachnid fly away.

"So that's how it's done. Genius," Silas remarked as he shut down the footage. With a click, the lights went out and Silas was gone.

Moments later, Jack and June were sitting on a crate on the ground while NOva stood there clutching her right arm. After Airachnid and Silas made their escapes, Fowler and his men worked to free June and Arcee. June was shaken up concerning the whole experience she had just gone through with the kidnapping and her captors dragging her children into this. But Jack and Nova knew that she would get over it eventually and everything would return to the way things were.

"Ms. Darby. I'm Special Agent William Fowler. It's time you knew the truth," Fowler declared, "For the past several months, Jack and Nova have been...interning for me at the agency."

"Agent Fowler, mum's not gonna buy it," Jack remarked as he referred to the glare June was giving Fowler. "He's got that right," June immediately agreed.

"Agent Fowler," a soldier greeted as he approached the group. "Let me guess. Without a trace," Fowler assumed, walking away in frustration at the soldier's indication of agreement.

Arcee took that time to step forward towards the group. Jack and June stood up while me and mom watched.

"And she would be your...?" June trailed off.

"Motorcycle. Guardian. Autobot. Friend," Jack listed.

"Call me Arcee," Arcee said.

"Thank you, Arcee," June smiled, earning one in return before turning to NOva who was standing there. "I suppose your involve as well."

Nova didn't said anything before she felt a touched on her head as she looked up to see JUne with a forgiving smile. "You only did it just to protect me and I appreciate it, thank you for trying to save me." She said sincerely. Nova looked at her for minute before she hugged June, much to her surprised. NOva didn't let her go becoz she was filled with relieved and worries that she might disappeared, she doesn't know why she was feeling it but she didn't care. Nova said softly, "I'm just glad....your safe, JUne. " June stared at her strangely before returning a hug.

Arcee and Jack were surprised how Nova was so concerned about her. Jack was relieved that her mother is alright but there was something that bothers her. He recalled what happen back there. 'What does he mean she's not completely human?' Jack thought.

It was cut off when June and NOva released each other from their hug before Nova cringed by a stinging pain in her right shoulder, She groaned and clutched her wound.

"Nova, what's wrong?" Jack asked worried. June saw a scrapped jacket on her right upper arm. "YOur injured?!" She said in shocked.

"It's just a scratch... the bullet must have barely missed while escaping."She replied clutching to it. "Let me see it." June said. Nova protested but she insisted as she rolled up her black sleeve on her right arm, when she did Jack, June and Arcee gasped in shock of what they saw in her shoulder.

"What? What's wrong?" Nova looked down at her right upper arm which let out a gasp. The skin on her was torn off and it was bleeding. Revealing a robotic circuitry underneath and leaking energon. Nova yelped when the blue light glowed at her wound. Everyone stared in shock at the blue light glowing in her wound had healed and faded. Nova staggered back and hugged herself, trembling in shocked as she began to questioned herself.

"What am I?"
