Second Meeting

Bumblebee
"Y/n! Over here!" You spin around at the sound of your name being called, to see Jack along with two others sitting at a table in the corner, who upon farther inspection are Rafael and Miko.

"Hey Jack." You sit down next to him and look across the cafeteria to where Vince is whispering to his friends while periodically looking over at you.

"So what's the plan for Vince?" You spare a glance towards the bully as he stands up and makes his way towards you.

"What are you talking about?"

"Who even are you?"

Rafael and Miko both speak at the same time, just as Vince grabs you by the shoulders from behind.

"Who this? Oh she's the loser of a little bet we made. Isn't that right Y/n?"
Rage clouding your senses, you stand up from your chair and whip around to sock Vince in the nose.

"Y/n!"

"Y/n, Vince, principal's office now!" The gym teacher glares you down as you look at Jack in apology.

"I've got a plan. Don't worry."
With a wink and a smirk, you hold your head high as you turn away and head to the principals office.

                   Afterschool

"That was awesome!" Miko cheers and high fives you as you walk out of the building. Jack is holding his head in his hands trying to calm down.
Even Rafael is laughing with an adorable grin on his face.

"How did you get him to go on the announcments for an apology? And he sounded so scared!" Jack gives up on holding back his own laughter as he asks you questions.

"Well, let's just say that I can be scary when I'm serious." You let out your own chuckle as you remember Vince's face as he was forced to apologise.

"I just want, to apologise to Rafael Esquivel for all acts I have done to him. And admit, that he is..." he sighs.. "ten times the man that I am..."  with his face red in embarrassment, Vince flees the principal's office and the principal gives you a look of approval.

A couple beeps come from the yellow and black car that's parked next to the sidewalk.

"Bee! Stop!" Immediately, Raf's face turns serious.

"The radio is still messed up Y/n. No worries. We're going to take him to the shop."
You raise an eyebrow in suspision.

"Him? So your car is a him named Bee?"
Raf facepalms as Jack sheepishly looks down.

"Yep! We all name our vehicles! Jack named his bike Arcee, and my jeep's name is Bulkhead!"
A couple more beeps come from the radio of the car as an army green jeep pulls up.

"Speak of the devil, I gotta go! Good luck taking care of this one boys!" With a strange laugh, Miko jumps into the front passenger seat of the jeep and almost immediately it pulls out of the school grounds and drives down the road.

"Welp, I have to get home too. My mom is taking a night shift at he hospital so she wants to see me home safe before she goes. See you on Tuesday guys!" Jack jumps onto his bike and speeds away, leaving only Rafael and yourself.

"So. His name is Bee huh? Like a bumblebee. It suits him."
You look approvingly at the yellow and black design as you speak.

"Y/n, do you have to be home at a certain time?" Raf hesitantly looks up at you.

"Nah. My folks are fine with me staying out as long as I want. Why?" You look to the kid in curiosity.

"Then I need to show you something,  before he drives me crazy." Raf climbs into the passenger seat of the camaro, and beckons you towards the back.

"Get in."
After a second of hesitation, you slide into the backseat.
The camaro starts its engine and zooms away from the school.

"Woah! What's happening?! Who's driving!?"
A beep from the radio answers your question and with wide eyes, you grab for the door.

"Relax Y/n! He won't hurt us! His name is Bumblebee. He just wanted to thank you for what you did at the race."
A strange curiosity trickles through you as the camaro enters the woods. Going off road.

"Come on!" Raf leaves the car and the door shuts gently behind him.
The door on your side of the backseat opens a heartbeat later and you scramble out. Placing your body in between Raf and the car.

"Bee, go ahead." Raf pushes past you to watch the car.
The sound of screeching metal fills the air. And within seconds, a giant metal robot-looking creature stands before you.
You're frozen in surprise and a bit of fear, but Raf runs up to it without hesitation, and jumps on it's outstretched hand.
A couple beeps shake you back to reality, and you look up to where it's glowing eyelike things are watching you.

"He says thank you for defending me. And for not screaming or hitting him."
You flinch back as Rafael translates the beeps.

"Oh my god this is crazy."

Bulkhead
"Come on Bulkhead! We're gonna be late!" Miko's loud voice from behind the school attracts your attention, and with a wave and a cheeky smile, you dart around Marcus and Vince to run around the school.

"Miko thank god. I thought Vince and Marcus we're going to kill me. Oh hey giant robot that Miko must have been talking to. Anyways, I'm pretty sure that Vince and Marcus are on their way to smite me." With a sigh, you plop down against the school building.

"Are you sick?" Miko stares at me weirdly and the giant green robot stands up while shaking his head.

"Nope. I figured you two out the week after I fought Marcus, Vince and Tyler. Wasn't too hard. Although I'm surprised that you would go out with whatever he is."
You shrug your shoulders as you speak. "He's the jeep right? The 'escape vehicle'?"

"Miko we have to go. There are people coming."
Miko looks up at the robot with a groan.

"Ok number one, he's not my boyfriend! Number two you're right we gotta go. And number three, you better explain yourself on the drive outta here. Oh and yea he is the jeep"

Short timeskip because I'm too
lazy to write your explanation.

"So that's how you figured it out. Cool. " Miko kicks her feet up on the dashbord.

"Well. He seems ok. You chose a good guy. Even though he isn't from Earth, he seems nice enough."

"He's not my boyfriend!"

"Just embrace your inner weirdness and let me have this!"
Miko slams the door shut behind her as she leaves Bulkhead.

"Take her home Bulk. See ya
tomorrow!" The energetic teen runs up the steps to her house and you smirk from your place in the front seat.

"What is a boyfriend?" Bulkhead speaks up and it nearly gives you a heart attack.

"A warning next time would by nice! You could have killed my poor heart!" Bulkhead slams on the breaks earning a honk from a car behind you.

"What?! I didnt mean to hurt you!"
Realising what he must have thought, you shake your head with a laugh.

"Chill. It's just an expression."
Bulkhead slowly moves forwards again and after a couple minutes of silence he speaks up.

"So where exactly do you live?"

Optimus Prime
With a fearful glance behind you, you duck into a crevice in the canyon. Hiding in the shadows of an overhang, you press yourself against the the cold rock and curl into a ball with a whimper.
This was not how you planned your day to go.
Heavy footsteps echo through the canyon walls, and a scratchy voice rings through your ears.

"Come out come out wherever you are fleshie! My lord is waiting for me to appear with you and I would rather not get on his bad side."
Chewing nervously on your nails, you curl into a tighter ball as the footsteps stop right infront of your hiding spot.
Sparing a glance out of your hiding spot, you shriek in fear as you're gaze is met with the giant robot's face, and it's hand reaches under the overhang to grab you.

"Let me go! Someone help me!" Your scream pierces the air like a bullet, and the sound of more large footsteps makes the gray and red robot twist his face into what could only be described as a frown.

"Starscream. Release the human and face me." An even bigger red and blue robot steps into the canyon, and you feel tears slipping down your cheeks in fear.
With a scream of rage, the so called 'Starscream' throws you at the larger robot and transforms into a jet, quickly flying away.
The tall seemingly male robot carefully catches you in his hands, and looks at you gently.

"It's alright. I mean you no harm. Are you injured?"
The voice is familiar for some reason. Which sends a wave of curiosity crashing over you.

"Who are you? And why do you seem familiar?" A mask slides back and you flinch back before realising that it was only covering a mouth.

"I am Optimus Prime of the Autobots. And you may reconise me from two earth weeks ago. When you were cornered by those  uncivil human males."
With wide eyes you remember the large red and blue truck that scared away the men that were surrounding you in the alley.

"You're the truck!"

"Yes ma'am." Optimus gently sets you on the ground, and metal screeches as he transforms into the red and blue semitruck.

"Shall I take you home miss?" His front passenger door opens and you hesitantly climb in.

"Yes that would be lovely.. and thank you Optimus Prime."

How am I going to explain myself to my daughter?

Ratchet
"Just stay calm Kiera. It's alright you're safe. You're with auntie." You cradle your sister's daughter close as tears trickle slowly down her cheeks. "It was just a nightmare sweetie. You're safe."
The tears slowly come to a stop as the young girl falls back asleep, and your sister appears in the door.

"Sorry Y/n.. I just woke up and heard her crying. I forgot to warn you about her nightmares."  S/n looks to the ground with regret shining in her eyes.

"It's ok. I havn't comforted anyone because of nightmares since y/s/n was her age. I almost miss having him so small." You stand up from your spot on Kiera's bed and tuck her in.
After kissing her forehead,  you turn away and usher your sister down the hall. Now back to sleep for you.

"Hey ma? Is everything ok? I heard Kiera crying." Your son steps out of his room while rubbing his eyes and your sister starts apologising rapidly.

"It's ok. I wasn't asleep. Just doing math homework. It's only 10:00pm." He yawns and you and your sister walk over to him.

"In that case, we'll help you. Y/n, can I go make nachos? And you can get started on figuring out some math? I've been asleep for the past three hours so I'm more rested and less likely to burn myself on the stove."
Your sister winks as she turns down the hall to the kitchen.

"Alright. Show me this math."

Short timeskip by five minutes.

"No ma it's like this." Y/s/n scribbles an equation on the lined paper and you groan in frusteration.

"No I've been doing this for twenty years! Math doesn't change..." rubbing your eyes tiredly, you look over to the clock on the wall.
"And how has it only been five minutes? It feels like twenty??" You lay your head on your son's desk and he pats your back sympathetically.

"It's ok ma. You tried."
About to respond, you open your mouth only to be interupted by    S/n as she enters the room.

" You're out of salsa. Should I go buy some?"
Standing up, you shake your head.

"I'll go. See if you can make some sense of these equations."
Trading places with your sister, you walk to the entrance to grab your keys.

"I'll be back in twenty!"
Gently shutting the door behind you, you narrow your eyes to peer through the darkness as you make your way to your car.
Climbing in, you turn the key in the ignition and pull out of the driveway.
You reach the store in record time and lock your car behind you as you enter the store.
Moving to the snacks aisle, you quickly locate the salsa and make your way to the register where you meet June Darby at the self checkout.

"Hi miss Darby. How's Jack?" You greet her as she baggs her bread and milk.

"Oh hello Y/n. Jack's doing well. He's at home working on math though."
With a sigh, you scan your own items and nod your head.

"Y/s/n too. They changed math somehow."
With a sound of agreement, June waits for you as you bag your items and you walk out of the store together talking about math and how things have changed.

"Anyways, nice to see you Y/n. Talk to you la-" June is cut off as beams of red light shoot down in front if her, preventing her from reaching the ambulance.
She drops her bags in fear and you lunge forward, dropping your own bags in your car to shove her out of the way as a jet fires of another round of glowing blasts.
You are far enough away from the store that making a run for it would be deadly, so instead, you usher her under a truck and cover her mouth to keep her from screaming.

You yourself are panicking but you don't allow it to show.

Think of Y/s/n and S/n and Kiera. You have to get home to them!

With a determined expression set in your face, you release June's mouth and she looks to you in fear.

"We have to get to Ratchet."

"What? No. We stay here and hope that they leave."
The sound of screeching metal silences your train of thoughts and you turn your head to the side to see giant black and purple metal feet making there way towards you.

"Decepticon." The one word from June sends you looking at her in confused horror.

"Wha-" You are cut off this time as the truck is kicked away and a giant metal black and purple robot looks down at you.

"June run. I'll distract it. Get help."
Looking at you in surprise she shakes her head.

"Help is already here."
The moment she utters those words, a blue blast cones from behind the robot and it is sent flying over you both.
June runs towards a giant red and white robot and you look to the black and purple one before following her.

"And who are you?"

"Are you alright miss Darby?"
The robot and you both dpeak at the same time and you glare at it as you ask your question.
With a sigh, the decidedly male robot stand straight.

"I am the Medic Ratchet of the Autobots. And who are You?" He snaps back.

"Stop right there you two. Y/n you need to get home to your sister and son. And Ratchet, I need to get home to Jack. So save the fight for another time."
June crosses her arms as she looks back and forth from you and Ratchet so you huff and nod.

"Fine."

"Fine."
Ratchet makes a screeching noise as he transforms into an ambulance.

"Oh my god that's the same ambulance!" You cover your mouth as you reconise the ambulance and June places her bag into the passenger seat after climbing in herself.

"Yep. Ratchet was the one that spotted you. So instead of a fight, try a thank you next time." June laughs as she shuts the door.

"Be careful going home Y/n! And don't tell anyone about the con or Ratchet. I'll meet you at the Sundown café after work at 7 tomorrow night to explain everything!"

Smokescreen
You lean back with a sigh. You had just finished another race, and again, that blue and white sportscar won by a meter.

Where did he learn his tricks

You watch tiredly as the race official comes up to you again.
"So uh. The guy still doesnt want money and said to give it to the second place winner. So here!" The race official shoves the stack of twenties through your window and rushes away with a couple muttered words.
Shaking your head, you reach over to place the bills in the dashboard on the passenger side with your savings from other races.
Seeing a flash of movement, you look over to see the familiar 36 leaving the lot.

Gripping the steering wheel, you press your foot to the peddle and follow him.

Maybe I can figure out who he is...

For ten minutes you follow the car as it speeds down the highway into the desert. With narrowed eyes, you speed up slightly. He seems to notice you tailing him, and he pulls over.
Pulling up behind him, you shut the door behind you as you march over the the driver side door.

"Who are you?! Show yourself damnit!"
The window rolls down a fraction.

"You don't want that. Not a good idea."

"Yes I do! Now show yourself coward!"
That must have affected the man. Because a second later the window was rolled up and his engine starts.

"I'm no coward. But you will be scared when you see who I am and I dont want that so please leave."
With a sigh, you rest a hand on the hood of the car.

"Please?"

A sound like a groan came from the inside of the car, and the door opens. To reveal no one.

What?

"I am the car. My designation is Smokescreen. Please don't scream!" The metal of the car screeches as it transforms into a tall metal robot.

"Oh my god. I'm dreaming aren't I."
Smokescreen shakes his large head, and you're weirdly captivated by his glowing blue eyes.

"If I'm not dreaming," he nods.

"And this is all real," he makes a continue gesture with his hands.

"Then why are you showing me yourself? Don't you have some sort of rules against that?"
Smokescreen sighs.

"Yea we do. But you seem a bit different so I'm hoping you can keep the secret?" His face turns pleading as he picks you up and sits down.

"Sure why not. But on one condition."

"Name it." He speaks without hesitation before adding. "But please be reasonable."

"Course. Take me for a drive tomorrow after I get out of school. That's my condition."
You look up at him with hope sparkling in your eyes.

"Sure why not. I'll come for you at 4. Be outside the school then."

Ultra Magnus
"Nice base. But why is everything so big?" You follow Agent Fowler into the large military hanger and stiffen at the soldiers and superior officers stationed around the lower and higher floor.

"For our vehicles. And our unusual friends." Fowler leads you into a room where the walls hold every weapon imaginable.
Immediately, you snag a couple full magazines for your pistol from the table in the far left corner.

"Take whatever you want. We have plenty. From now on, you're going to be training our soldiers. But first, you need to meet someone."
With a quick nod of your head, you grab an AK47 and sling it over your shoulder, and slide a belt around your waist to hold multiple magazines for your new AK47 and your pistol.

"Ready sir." You snap back to yur old training protocols as you follow Fowler out of the room.

"Now this, is your squadron that you'll be training. A bunch of newbies." Leaning closer as he looks over the five men he adds,"so don't go easy on 'em."
The men snap to attention and salute as you and Fowler pass by to stand in front of Fowler's truck.

"And now, for the unusual friend that I want you all to meet. Magnus. Show yourself."
Metal screeches as the blue and red truck starts shifting, and two of the men behind you grip their chosen guns tightly.
Within seconds, a tall blue and red metal robot stands in front of you.
Kneeling down to see your faces he tips his head in greeting.

"I am First Lieutenant Ultra Magnus. A member of the Autobots in the war against the Decepticons. We are looking to restore our home planet and to do so, we need human alliances. Which brings us to why we are meeting."
The Commander speaks fluidly without a stutter, and for a moment you envy his calmness.

"How do we know we can trust you sir?" You take a single step forwards, and suddenly all eyes are on you.
Gasps and murmers break out between senior soldiers around you and a blush blazes across your face. But you refuse to back down.
Standing tall with your hands clenched in fear by your sides, you look Ultra Magnus straight in the eyes as he shakes his head.

"You can't. You'll just have to believe me."

Wheeljack
"MIKO! I TOLD YOU TO NOT START ANYTHING! WHAT PART OF THAT DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!?" You chase Miko down the deserted road with your bag on your back and your knife strapped to your thigh.

"I didn't!" She cries out as you catch her and pin her to the ground. "I just told him that you liked the car and colors and now he wants to meet you thats all!"
You narrow your eyes at her statement.

"And you told him to meet us here? Without telling me of these plans first?!" You throw your bookbag and knife to the side (to prevent injuries), and hold her hands away from her sides.

"You deserve a punishment..." you trail off with a smirk.
Moving your hands quickly, her eyes widened in fear as she realises what you're about to do.

"NOOO!" Her screech cuts through the air as you tickle her sides.
"Face your punishment!"
In a matter of seconds, the pink and black haired girl is writhing on the ground crying of laughter.

"No! I BEG OF YOU! STOOOOP!!"
With a clang, suddenly you're twenty feet in the air with something gray wrapped around you and a giant sword pointing to your face.

"Miko?! Are you ok?" The giant..Robot alien? Speaks as he kneels next to my friend.

"MIKO RUN! I'LL DISTRACT IT!" You scream out and Miko sits up with a sigh.
Reaching into the back of your sweater, you pull out a firework and a match from your pocket. Lighting the match, you light the firework and aim it at the giant red white and green metal robot.

"Y/n no! That's Jackie!!" Miko's scream from below you makes your eyes widen in shock.

"Y/n! The firework!"
With a yelp, you throw the firework away from 'Jackie' and it explodes the second it hits the ground.

"This better be good because that was my last green and red one."
You glare at the robot as he sheepishly sets you on the ground next to Miko.

"Wheeljack's the name Sunshine. Where'd ya get the bomb thing anyways? Cool explosion."
Wheeljack's voice is deep and a light blush flits across your face for a second before disappearing.

"YOU HELD A SWORD TO MY FACE! I SHOULD SMITE YOU!!"
