TFP - Knockout x (Cybertronian) Reader

Science Achievement

You fiddled with the semi-clear syringe in your (f/c) digits, twisting, turning, and winding the sharp needle until it lay silently in the center of your small servo. Inside of it calmly floated a translucent green substance. 'Synthetic energon,' you thought. 'Perfectly made too.'

Your alarms chose to blare to life at that particular  moment. The harsh ringing echoed in your audio receptors as you pressed the button to open the cameras. Your (e/c) optics flew to the monitors, searching for what had set them off. 'Intruders. Hmm,' you told yourself.

A cherry red mech waltzed into the entrance of your base, looking for something. Behind him came a blue and pink femme followed by a white and orange mech. A yellow and black mech jumped through last second. 'No way!' You thought. 'Could it really be?'

Looking back down towards the syringe, you clasped the pointy-edged object in your servo and set off for the entrance your base. 'No matter, they won't even know what hit them...'

Pedesteps could be heard, making their way towards you rather quickly. 'Time to bail,' you thought, jumping up towards the ceiling beams strategically placed around your lab. 'Hehe, and let the games begin...'
----------------------------------

"Ratchet, are you sure you read the energon readings right?" Knockout complained, scrolling through a datapad with his left servo while his other was shuffling other datapads out of the way.

"Yes, Knockout. I may be old by m-" Ratchet was cut off by Knockout

"Your optics work perfectly fine? As if!" Scoffed the younger mech, who set down the datapad and began to move towards what seemed to be a monitor.

Five little dots shone brightly. They read 'life signatures', so Knockout payed no attention to it.

"One, two, three, four, five, that's all of u- wait what?" Knockout shrieked, looking at the monitor. Ratchet, Bumblebee, and Arcee heard his shriek and ran over towards the newest member of the Autobots.

"THERES FIVE LIFE SIGNATURES! SOMEONES HERE!" Squealed the cherry mech, running around like a chicken with its head cut off. "MY PAINT! MY POOR FINISH IS GONNA GET RUINED! OH I SHOULD'VE STAYED WITH THE 'CONS!" Knockout wailed, hiding behind Bumblebee.

::Quit being a fragging sparkling, Knockout.::

"What Bumblebee said," said Arcee, pulling him out from his oh-so-perfect hiding spot. Knockout groaned in response.

Ratchet, in the background, could be heard sighing. Bumblebee buzzed at him, scolding the medic for being so cranky.

"I. Am. NOT. Cranky," hissed Ratchet, pulling out a wrench from his subspace.

::What did I tell you? He's cranky!:: buzzed Bumblebee, shaking his helm.

"Well, why that may all be swell and good," Knockout said, having finally calmed down, "we still have a problem to solve."

"He's got a point," Arcee said, walking over to the monitors. "It appears as if the life form is right above us."

Ratchet shook his helm in disagreement. "No no, that's impossible. We are the only ones here!"

"Oh really now? When do the monitors lie?" Asked Knockout.

::Trap?:: asked Bumblebee, unsure about the entire situation.

"No," said another voice. "Simply the truth."

--------------------------------------

You stood in front of four very surprised Autobots.

"What, surprised to see me?" You asked, holding your servos up in the air. They didn't notice the syringe hanging off of your waist.

"Designation and fraction, NOW!" Barked the blue and purple femme.

"My my Arcee, is that anyway to treat an ally?" She hissed and pulled out her ion blasters.

"How do you know my name?" She yelled, stepping in front of the other Autobots.

"Arcee, Arcee, ARCEE, I thought you would have remembered me by now. I mean surely you couldn't have forgotten your beloved Tailgate's sister no could you?" You said, getting to her helm.

"W-what?" Arcee said, lowering her boasters slowly.

"Yes, of course Arcee. What a pity you don't remember me." You stepped forward slowly, raising your servo up in defense when The others pulled out their weapons and pointed them at you.

"Now, if you don't mind, would you please get out of my laboratory? I have some unfinished work to get done." You said, gesturing to the entrance of the base that they had used.

"No can do, I'm afraid," said Knockout. "We came here for a reason, and we will NOT leave until we have it." You pondered on the thought.

"Give me a moment" you said slowly. You turned around and began to look through your things. Everything was SO disorganized!

"You know, if you wants something, you could have simply asked." Turning to face them, you looked Ratchet dead in the optics. "So what do you want?"

The four Autobots watched you closely. "Is it my fine collection of relics of both Autobot and Decepticon alike? Or maybe my help to aid your fraction of the war." You paused do a moment. "Or perhaps...my synthetic energon formula?"

"Ding ding ding," said Knockout. "If you'll be so kind as to hand it over to us, we'll be out of your way in no time." The cherry red mech began to look around. "Now where is it..." He mumbled.

You chuckled. "Why, it's standing right in front of you, of course." They looked at you like you were crazy. "A shame only one of us here will get to know of it though."

"What does that mean?" Ratchet asked, transforming his servos into large scalpels.

"It means, that this very base is going to go BOOM," you said, making an explosion motion with your servos to get it across.

A faint ticking could be heard. The Autobots had heard it to, because they all ran off with Bumblebee calling for a groundbridge. Well, almost all of them. Knockout still stood in front of you.

"Now listen here. I'm not going anywhere without that formula," he said, pulling out his energon staff.

You raised an optical ridge. "Very well."

"Wh-" he was cut off from asking you what that meant when you pulled the syringe off your waist and pinned him down. Before he could fight back or struggle, you plunged the needle deep into his neck cables and injected the serum. You kissed him as he stilled. "Hopefully that will make up for the difference?" You asked.

"ACK!" He yelled, pushing you off of him. "Never mind!" Knockout hissed, "keep your stupid synthetic energon formula!"

The cherry red medic ran through the groundbridge right before it closed.

"Oh they never learn do they," you mutter, walking back into your lab. In front of you sat a small, blinking timer. And next to it sat a small flame beneath a testing tube, bubbles rising up to the top, but not overflowing. "If they had kept me busy much longer, then they might have exploded."

--------------------------------------

Knockout, instead of walking into the base like normal, stumbled in, clinging to his neck cables tightly.

"Are you well  Knockout?" Asked Optimus, looking over the red mech for any causes of pain or distress.

"If you count getting stabbed in the neck by a mad scientist with a syringe well, then I suppose I am." Knockout was dragged to the medical bay by Ratchet himself.

He put a cloth to the wound to absorb the bleeding energon. He was quite shocked to see that not blue energon Poole dingo the rag, but rather green. He took a sample tray and put some of the green substance onto it.

Sticking it beneath the microscope, he jumped back.

"What is if Doc?" Asked Bulkhead.

"Don't call me that!" Snapped Ratchet, settling down. "It appears, Knockout, that whatever they injected you with, was synthetic energon."

"Ratchet, are you capable of cloning the synthetic energon?" Asked Optimus, stepping into the medical bay.

"I believe so," the field medic said, standing up straighter.

"Well then, I certainly hope we meet up with (Y/n) again. We owe her a thank you, don't you think?" Asked Knockout, flicking some imaginary dust off his armour while he was laying down.

::And for once I agree with Knockout!:: Bumblebee buzzed.

"Hey!"
