Megatron was a botling when he met Y/N and they grew up together. They had been separated for a few years but reconnected when he found her after his first gladiator fight.

He had fallen for her during his time as a gladiator, always having her by his side.

After the meeting with the high council before the war, he was furious.

He stormed out and Y/N ran after him.

"Megatron? Are you okay?" She was worried about him even though she no longer supported his cause.

"Y/N, please. Join me. We could rule the Decepticons together. You'd be my queen. I love you, Y/N. Please join me," Megatron held her servos as he looked into her optics, his now shining red but they flickered between red and blue as he looked at her with love. They stayed red but Y/N was just afraid and spark broken.

"Megatron... I... I love you too... but I can't be a Decepticon... I'm sorry..." Y/N frowned and Megatron felt pained.

"You don't love me... you love Orion! You're a traitor!" He was spark broken and devastated. His spark was desperately trying to find a reason why she wouldn't stay with him and he was afraid of losing her.

Y/N shook her helm before she pulled him down. She kissed him and he relaxed a bit, drawing her into his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled away a few minutes later.

"I don't love Orion. You are the only mech I love. I just can't support the Decepticons. I will always love you though. I promise you that," Y/N murmured and he frowned.

"I understand..."

So many years passed and Y/N still loved Megatron just as she promised she would. She took notice that he never wanted to hurt her in battle, choosing to fight her so he could go soft on her to make sure that she wasn't hurt and just to be near her.

They were on Earth now and Megatron still had feelings for Y/N. He tried letting go of her but every time he saw her on the field, his spark sped up, making him only want to focus on her. He destroyed any drones that hurt Y/N in any way.

He was currently on a solo mission, having gotten a weak signal. With his team scattered already, he went out to look for whatever the signal was.

Little did he know, a certain femme was in the same cave system.

Y/N heard ped steps coming towards her, getting louder and suddenly something ran into her back, causing her to fall. She didn't hit the ground though. Instead, she looked to see the mech she loved dearly but she pushed away.

She aimed her blasters at him and he frowned.

"Y/N is that really necessary?" He walked closer to her again, gently pushing her blasters down.

Y/N looked up into his eyes before she leapt into his arms.

"I've missed you so much, Megatron. I love you more than anything," Y/N pulled him into a kiss which he returned right away.

He kept her as close as possible as they kissed.

Y/N knew she shouldn't be doing this but she just couldn't stop loving him. They grew up together and she had fallen for who he truly was. She knew that the love of her life was still in there somewhere and was determined to bring him back.

Megatron pulled away and cupped her cheek.

"We should explore the signal. We could do it together," Y/N suggested, wanting to spend more time with him.

Megatron nodded with a genuine smile.

Y/N and Megatron started to meet in private whenever they could. They never spoke about wars and plans, only of each other. They just spent however much time they had together enjoying one another's company. Until...

Y/N went to the meeting area after getting a private transmission from Megatron.

She was a little worried, knowing that Megatron and Optimus were in a fierce battle that day so she didn't know if he was okay or not.

She entered the springs and saw her lover. She gasped when she saw that he was leaking energon something awful.

"Megatron?!" She raced to his side and he coughed up energon.

"My p-precious, Y/N..."

"What are you doing here?! You should be getting healed!" She was freaking out, especially after she had important news for him.

"Kn-Knockout is unconscious... there's n-nothing I-I can do... I'm afraid th-this is it, my love," Megatron rasped before coughing up more energon and Y/N started to cry.

"But you can't leave me! W-we never got to bond! I-I'm sparked Megatron... please don't leave me!" She clung to his weak frame.

"M-my sparkling?" Megatron looked at her.

"Yeah, your sparkling. Please. We can end the war. We'll be a family," Y/N nodded, tears slipping down her cheekplates.

"Be a family... I wanna be a family... I love you, Y/N. I want to end the war... I'll end it f-for y-you... I promise..." Megatron was too weak and he fell unconscious.

"No! No no! Megatron! Please! I love you! Please don't leave me!" Y/N begged and then commed Ratchet out of pure desperation.

"Ratchet! Please! Come quick! Come to my coordinates! I need your medical kit! Please!"

Ratchet and Optimus came through a groundbridge quickly. They were shocked to find Y/N sobbing over an unconscious Megatron.

"Y/N, what is the meaning of this?" Optimus questioned immediately.

"He's dying! Please!"

"Good, let him go to the Pits," Ratchet growled.

"No! Please! I need him! I love him! W-we're gonna be a family! Please help him!"

Y/N was so utterly desperate.

"What do you mean you're gonna be a family?" Optomus raised an optic ridge.

"I'm sparked with his sparkling! I don't want to be a single carrier! Please just save him! I can't lose him!"

"Ratchet," Optimus nodded and Ratchet groaned.

"Fine, but only because I don't want to listen to Y/N crying anymore."

The other Autobots were shocked when Megatron was hauled through the groundbridge.

"Why is he here?" Bulkhead asked quickly.

"Because we apparently have to save him," Ratchet grumbled in annoyance.

When they got to the med bay, Ratchet wasn't really trying his hardest to save Megatron. Why would he?

Y/N was sobbing in the main room, terrified of losing the mech she loved. She didn't care if he was evil. He knew that he wasn't truly evil. He was so kind and gentle with her during their secret meetings. She couldn't lose him.

"Y/N, so you have been fraternizing with the enemy?" Optimus inquired, looking more that disappointed. Phoenix stood with Optimus.

"He's not my enemy. He's my bondmate and I wanted to be his sparkmate one day..." Y/N choked out a sob as she thought that now that day may never come.

"He could've been using you, Y/N. He is a Decepticon," Optimus tried to reason with her.

"Optimus, be gentle. Almost losing someone you truly love is terrifying. I would know," Phoenix hugged Y/N.

"And you should know better than anyone else in this base that Megatron isn't truly evil! He loved me before the war... we never spoke of the battle plans or anything that would hurt either side. He promised me that and he kept his promise," she looked at Optimus as she spoke.

Optimus sighed and shook his helm.

"I need him to be okay... he said we could be a family... he was gonna end the war so we could be a family together... h-he promised," she sobbed and that peaked Optimus's interest.

"End the war?" He questioned curiously.

"He said that he would end it... he said he would end it for me..." Y/N trembled in fear and emotional agony.

Ratchet heard that and suddenly was working quickly to save Megatron.

Once he was stable, Y/N rarely left his side but when she got up to get energon, Megatron started to wake up.

"Y/N..." he said inaudibly as he started to open his optics and looked around when he could see properly. He saw Optimis and Ratchet talking but not the femme he loved dearly.

"Where's Y/N?" He asked immediately and the two mechs turned to look at him.

"She is getting some energon," Optimus said gently but no sooner than he did, Y/N came in.

She gasped and ran at Megatron. "You're okay! Thank Primus!" She practically tackled him to him the medical berth.

"Y/N, my love," Megatron quickly hugged her smaller frame.

"I was so worried that I lost you. I love you so much," she smiled at him lovingly.

"Darling, may I speak with Optimus?"

"Of course. I'll get you an energon cube," she ran out to get him a cube or energon.

"Optimus, I would like to consider the terms of a peace treaty," Megatron said, putting his pride aside. He wanted to be with his femme and their sparkling safely. He couldn't bear to lose either of them.

"Are you sure, Megatron?" Optimus was excited.

"I'm positive. I want to be safe with Y/N and our sparkling. I love them both so much. So please, I want to end this war once and for all," Megatron said as he held out a servo.

Optimus gladly shook his servo and they were both smiling.

Ctbrrtron was restored, finally. All the Decepticons who refused the treaty were locked up and the Autobot faction was the dominant faction over all of Cybertron.

Y/N and Megatron lived in Kaon. They were the ambassadors of Kaon and had their son, Stryker. Y/N had recently just gave birth to their daughter Skyfire.

The promise of love was never broken. They were a happy family, the way it should've always been.
