The cloaked figure ran. He ran as fast as possible, which wasn't that fast considering his misshaped peds weren't built for sprinting, but at the moment all he cared was to deliver his son to his best friend before it's too late.

Of course, his alt mode would have been more efficient and faster, but with his son limp and in pain he never had the spark to jolt him around without causing him more pain.

The seven-stellar cycle mechling in the arms of the larger mech was venting shallowly, shivering and shaking as though he was trapped in the Arctic.

"Hold on there Depth, hold on there," whispered the large mech as he held him close to his chassis and thundered down the dark streets. The mechling's shuddering increased along with his venting rate. His cooling systems were knocked out, his frame was heating up gradually.

The sire vented fearfully before he finally came to the intended location, a darkened housing unit that was very much like the other units that surrounded it. No doubt, considering that the cloaked sire broke curfew for just running down the streets in the middle of the night. But at the moment, all he cared for was his son's safety.

{Dreadshot... Dread what happened? What happened to Depth?!} cried out a voice through the bond.

{He's sick Set... He's sick! Aye'm gettin'im ta Ligh' here!} he replied to his sparkmate as he pounded his fist on the monotonous door.

"HEY LIGHT! GET THE DAMN DOOR OPEN!" he exclaimed, pounding harder then ever.

At the roar, the door swished open, revealing a silver and yellow average sized mech at the door, glaring up at the cloaked figure with tired optics. "Wha' the pits Dread, tis the middle of the night!" he hissed.

"Depth... Aye need yer help Light, Depth's shudderin' like mad an' he's heatin' up fer no reason!" he yelled back at him desperately.

Light looked down at the small shivering, wheezing bundle in his friend's arms before his optics widened awake at once.

"Get'im in, ye know where the bay tis righ? Don't tell me ye forgot!" he exclaimed at once as he headed over in to a small corridor and pressed some buttons, revealing medical tools.

Dread headed straight for the other side of the unit, down the cellars to the underground. He couldn't help but feel distaste and bitterness underground, but at the moment he never cared. He knew that Light was an illegal medic, one who broke his caste placement.

After multiple turnarounds he finally found the makeshift medibay as he laid down his son Depthknight on the berth. It drove fear and worry to the sire as he watched and heard his son's hacking and wheezing increased into multiple levels.

He turned around just to see Light crashing into the medibay, scanner in one servo with a small briefcase in the other as the silver mech laid it down on the small table on the side and scanned Depthknight.

Multiple red warnings flashed on, the results frightened the illegal medic as he started to pull out multiple items. "Scrap, his systems are failing, they're crashing one by one!" exclaimed Light as he pulled out a spark defibrillator and used them on the small chassis, sending a light electric jolt to the frame twice in a row, and pulled out more tools.

"I need you to send comfort to him, hope, anything to make him wake up!" the medic ordered the giant in front of him.
