You are the charge to Ratchet. The autobots will be gone doing things elsewhere in this so it's only you and Ratchet. Ratchet can also go into human form to do this! This is a fluff!

"How is it looking, Arcee?" You could hear her sigh.

"It's looking just fine, Ratchet." The mech nodded once before ending the link and turning to you. Your eyes lit up with your smile. He smiled back, warmly.

"They're all gone for right now," You wiggle your finger at him then pointed to his med bay where a hidden box was under all his wrenches; No one dared to touch them.

"Alright. This may take too long and we won't get to finish it." Ratchet pointed out as you ran down the stairs of the catwalk and be-lined for the box with a pattern on top of it. Once you grabbed it you could hear the pieces inside shift when you lifted it and began to take it over to the catwalk once more.

"Ratchet, human form." You motioned to the mech and he smiled as you watched him become human to play the game with you.

"I love chess, did you know that?" Ratchet asked as he took the top off and helped you get all the pieces. You smiled at Ratchets anxious waiting. "Careful, careful. These are special remember? They're clear Resin." You rolled your eyes. Of course you knew! You made them!

"I think I'd know that." Ratchet smiled at you before looking back at the board and seeing the both have you had set up your sides.

"I'm gonna take down that king."

"Try me."

You both began to battle it out, smartly so. You stuck your tongue out when you got his knight. He smiled at you.

"You know, Y/N." You look up from the chess board. "I never thought that humans could be such an amazing thing in my life. Yet, here you are playing chess with me. Rafael has shown me many times that humans aren't just some numbskull creatures that walk this planet. Although, Miko has proven many times that they sometime can be. Anyway, to me you are like a King on this board. You leave that board and that means, to me, that the demons win and I lost that game." You began to get teary eyed at your guardian.

You nodded at him with a smile as you began to sniffle at little.

"You have an infinity of laughter like the King has infinity points, my darling. I love you and I cannot loose you because you are like my daughter." You sobbed and got up before going into your guardians embrace.

"I love you too, Ratchet. I love you too." He smiled happily before hugging you tighter. This chess game would have to be put on hold for Optimus and Bulkhead were ready for a bridge home.
