Cliff (Bulkhead&Miko)
"Miko, what did I tell you about going so close to that cliff?" Bulkhead warned as he began to give the girl a warning glare.
"Oh cool your bucket of bolts, Bulkhead. There is nothing that could hap-BULK!" Miko slipped off the edge. Bulkhead went eyes wide and ran to her only to miss by a second. He called out for her but only jumped off with her.
"MIKO!" He plummeted to her and pulled her to his arms and made sure she was secure as he kept falling. The impact would be hard to come back from, if at all, he knew that. It was all for her though.
"NO, BULKHEAD!" She sobbed and impact hit. Black was all the two saw. Dust swarmed the area as rubble began to fall into place around them.
"She's waking up."
"Give her room."
"Bumblebee, back up!"
"Miko?"
The young girl with pink and black hair groaned. She looked to see June and Ratchet in her face. Raf and Jack came into view along with WheelJack.
"Wh-what?" She groaned and rubbed her head.
"Miko, do you remember what happened?" It was a hopeful question. Miko then gasped as she sat up quickly.
"Bulkhead! Is he alright?! Where is he?!" Arcee held her down.
"Miko, you need to calm down so I can explain." For some odd reason Miko felt better hearing the mother in the female autobots tone. "He is going to be okay. He's . . . not looking the best right now and might not remember some things. It will be okay though. He'll wake up . . . soon."
Miko sobbed, "how soon?"
Ratchet sighed as he shook his helm, "Miko, we aren't sure." He had a grim look to his face and Miko sobbed and hid her face away.
"I'm going to take you home. Your parents won't be back from vacation for a bit longer so you are still with me. Jack and I want to take you home, okay?" June mothered the teenager in pain.
"B-But . . . Bulkhead." The young girl cried. Jack frowned and hugged her as Raf rubbed her back.
"Beep vrroo wooo." Miko rubbed her eyes and looked at the yellow AutoBot she couldn't understand.
"Hm?" She asked.
"He said he would send over any symptoms. He has night patrol anyway and has to stay up." Miko smiles and nodded.
"Thank you, Bumblebee." The scout gave a thumbs up.
One Month Later
Miko sat there. She stared at her guardian that had been gone a whole month. Four whole weeks. She sat there for a while. If you put all the time together it would be at least a week and a half of the month. She still had school and her step parents wouldn't be too happy with her skipping school.
"Miko," She didn't even turn to look at Ratchet "we have some good news." She did turn this time. Only barely. "What's it?" She asked.
"Bulkhead's levels seem to have risen ten percent from yesterday to today. He's showing signs of waking." Ratchet concluded with a slight smile. Miko grew with excitement for the first time in a month.
"Finally! Get up you big lug!" She squawked. To Ratchets shock, the army green AutoBot began to stir. He gasped and immediately went to the bots side.
"Bulkhead? Are you with me?" Ratchet asked as he began to shine a light in the bot's optics to get him more accustomed to waking up.
"Bulkhead," Miko murmured as she leaned on her guardians chest and looked into the bots eyes.
"M-Miko . . . is she alright?" Ratchet let out a breath he hasn't known he'd been holding.
"His memory is intact." Ratchet pointed out the obvious.
"Bulkhead!" Miko shouted and hugged as much as she could of the giant robot.
The others had gathered and were smiling with bright optics. Jack and Raf were smiling also.
"Oh thank the Primes you are alright!" Bulkhead chuckled. WheelJack clapped the other wrecker on the back.
"Nice to see you awake, Bulk." Bulkhead smiled but it faltered.
"How long was I out?" Everyone's faces grew dark for a moment.
"A month." Was Arcees response.
"A month?!" Bulkhead practically shouted. Everyone concluded with nods of their own. "I'm so sorry, Miko." He muttered and hugged the girl, softly.
"Please don't ever do that again." Miko whispered.
"Never."
