Megatron sat awake next to y/n who slept curled up beside him. It was probably the first time she felt safe in a long time and he wanted to keep it that way.

He traced her scars with a frown, how had he not realized that she was being hurt so much? He was blind and he needed to have his sight back.

Y/n opened her eyes and looked at him tiredly, "What time is it?" she asked with a small yawn.

"Still time to sleep, I'll be here to protect you y/n/n, " He told her in a soothing tone while brushing a lock of rogue hair behind her ear.

"Don't you need sleep?"

"I'll take a nap in the morning, you keep sleeping, I'll be fine."

"Fine or ok?"

"Ok."

she smirked mischievously, "You already said fine so lay down, cuddle me, and sleep."

He returned the smirk with one of his own, "and if I don't?"

"Then I'm not sleeping."

Megatron sighed, Y/n didn't get enough sleep as it was so every minute she got was like a drop of gold. He pulled off his sweatshirt along with his socks and tossed them to the side, "Scoot over, bed hogger."

Y/n glared, "I'm not a bed hogger, " as she said this she scooted over to the side.

"You sleep like a starfish."

"A cute starfish."

"Yeah, yeah, a real cure for cancer until you get woken up."

"Hey!"

Megatron let out a hearty laugh as he pulled the sheets over them, "Just sleep starfish, " he told her, wrapping an arm around her waist.

He closed his eyes and felt her delicate head snuggle into his chest with a hum of agreement.
