"Retrieve the artefact!" Optimus called out. Optimus's medic, Ratchet, had just scanned an unknown energy signature back at their base. Optimus sent a team of four autobots, including himself, to find out what the energy signature belonged to. They ground bridged to a remote area, land, forests. But when Optimus, Bumblebee, Jazz and Mirage jumped out from their ground bridge they realised they weren't the only ones who had traced the signature.

Starscream had assembled his own team to check out the energy signature, Knockout, Brawl and Dragstrip. Knockout was the Decepticons personal medic. "Starscream! What are you doin' here?!" said Jazz, surprised at how quick the decepticons had arrived. "Well, as you autobots must know, you are not the only cybertronians with access to technology!" Starscream snickered. Optimus focused his eyes on the Decepticon in front of him, Brawl, who was holding something. "Optimus, the energy signature seems to be right in front of you" Ratchet said from Optimus's com-link. "Affirmative" Optimus replied. Brawl was holding what seemed to be the source of the energy. "Dragstrip's mine!" Shouted Mirage as he ran towards him. "I'll take screamy." said Jazz with a smirk. "Bumblebee I'll go after Brawl." Which left Bumblebee with Knockout. They each battled each other fiercely for the object. While Jazz and Mirage were fighting Dragstrip and Starscream, Knockout had transformed and taken off, with bumblebee following close behind. "Who doesn't like a bit of a chase?" Knockout called out while speeding down the road. Optimus had followed Brawl into the forest, he could be anywhere. "Hand over the object Brawl and you will not be harmed, refuse and I will fight you until you let go of it!", Brawl emerged from the trees and laid the object on the floor, and then showed Optimus his arsenal. Optimus raised his face guard, brought out his blade and gun, and charged towards Brawl.

Starscream was prowling the area for Jazz, he had hidden behind one of the rocks. "Come out you annoyingly tiny piece of metal, so I can shoot you!" Starscream shouted. Jazz was not going to let that insult go unpunished. "Oh no you didn't!" Jazz jumped from behind the rock and shot Starscream in the back, "No one calls me tiny!" Jazz yelled. "Garh!" Starscream cried.

Mirage was in a hand to hand fight with Dragstrip, they had quite a history on Earth and on Cybertron. "We WILL leave with that artefact." Mirage said, "Oh I promise you, you will leave, just not in one piece." Dragstrip threatened. Mirage flipped back and shot Dragstrip right in the stomach. "Enough with the empty threats Dragstrip, you and I both know who the better fighter is here." Mirage taunted.

Back with Bumblebee who was racing down the road trying to reach Knockout, they'd driven a fair bit away from the others. Bumblebee was right next to Knockout now. "I'm impressed Bumblebee, you're faster than I thought!" Knockout drove into Bumblebee but Bumblebee hit back, taking them both a bit off course. They transformed and stared at each other, until Bumblebee decided to make a move and ran towards him, clashing into him as Knockout tried to move out of the way but failed to do so. "Ugh, you, you scratched my finish!! Prepare for surgery!!" Knockout sprung out his saw and charged towards Bumblebee hoping to get his revenge.

Optimus was battling Brawl whilst trying to reach the artefact. Every move Optimus made to rush to the artefact, Brawl was right behind him and swung him back. "Do you really think I'm gonna let you take that!?" Brawl yelled. "I will leave this battle with the artefact, one way or another." Optimus replied back. And Optimus was serious, Brawl kept fighting but Prime had had enough. Optimus brought his guns out, took aim, and FIRE!! A clear shot right in the stomach. Brawl was down for good. Optimus ran, picked up the artefact, transformed and raced to the others.

"Autobots! I have the artefact! Retreat back to base." Optimus called out. "Ratchet we require a ground bridge." Optimus said to his com-link. "Right away Optimus" Ratchet replied back. "Next time Dragstrip. For sure!" Said Mirage before running into the ground bridge. "Later screamy!" Said Jazz. "Argh! Dragstrip! Don't just stand there. After them!!" Yelled Starscream. He charged towards the ground bridge but Optimus was prepared, he had his guns out and jumped into the ground bridge while shooting both Dragstrip and Starscream in the chest. The ground bridge closed. Starscream got up holding his chest. "ARGHHHHHHHH! Megatron will have my head for this! OPTIMUS PRIME!!!!" Starscream cried. "Hey where's Knockout and Brawl?" Dragstrip questioned. "What makes you think that I know where they are?!" Starscream replied. "Agh, Knockout, Brawl come in............KNOCKOUT, BRAWL answer your com-links" Starscream talked into his com-link. "Ughhh Starscream? I'm here." Brawl said, once he awoke after his battle with Optimus. "Return to my location we're leaving!" Starscream said with disappointment. "Gah! Where is Knockout?!" Starscream yelled.

The autobots had returned to their base. "Wait, where's Bee?!" Jazz questioned. "He was not with us when we opened the ground bridge, Knockout and Bumblebee had taken off, away from the area. I will contact Bumblebee and open a ground bridge at his position." Optimus said. "Bumblebee please come in" Optimus spoke into his com-link. "Bleep.. erww, beel" Bumblebee replied. "We are opening a ground bridge at your location get ready to leave." Optimus told Bumblebee. At Bee's location a ground bridge opened right behind him, he jumped in while waving back at Knockout. "Argh! Blasted Autobot!" Scoffed Knockout. Knockout turned to return to Starscream and the others but his energy detector was going off, like crazy! "Huh? An energy signature?" He said. Knockout searched the area. beep beep.....beep beep..beep beep beep beep beep!! He found it "Hmm perhaps today was not a complete loss." Knockout smirked. He grabbed the source of the energy and went back to Starscream.

Starscream was pacing back and forth, until Knockout fell into his line of sight. "KNOCKOUT! Where have you BEEN?! Starscream yelled. "Calm down Starscream I'm here aren't I?" Knockout replied calmly. "Gah I don't care if you're here or not! The Autobots got away with the artefact. Our lord and master will be most displeased." Starscream explained. "Umm, I'm not too sure about that." Knockout said, quite pleased with himself as he presented the object Knockout had come across to Starscream. A wide grin grew on Starscreams face. "Hahahahah good work Knockout. Now let's return to the ship." Starscream said relieved.

The Autobots were happy with their achievement. Optimus had given Ratchet the artefact to examine as they had yet to find out what it really was. "Good work, Mirage, Jazz and Bumblebee" Optimus praised. "Man I wish I was there!" Smokescreen whined. "Don't worry your time will come kid." Said Sideswipe. "You need to stop whining and just do what Optimus says Smokescreen." Ironhide said sternly. "What?! I DO do what Optimus says?!" Smokescreen replied. "Fine, stop whining and just do what Optimus says without complaining" Ironhide said with a smirk across his face. "So what did you get?" Asked Ryan. Ryan was a human ally, he had only been with the Autobots for a while now. But he was considered a good and trusted friend to the Autobots. He was in high school, year 8. Ryan's Autobot protector was Jazz. "We aren't sure what it is yet. That's why Ratchet's examining it." Jazz replied. The Autobots and Ryan had to wait for the object to be fully examined and explored.
