"There she is!" A voice shouted out as Alice saw the many number of fans coming at her as she took off on her motorcycle and stopped somewhere to find a place to hide from the fanboys.

She dove into Sumdac Industries and hid behind a robotic reception desk where she gave a silent signal to keep quiet while the fanboys asked the robot where Alice was and it gave no answer as they left.

"Thank you." She thanked the robotic receptionist as she received a nice welcome from it before bumping into a young girl with red pigtails and holding a suitcase. "Oof! I'm sorry and—Alice Carmine?!" Alice quickly shushed the girl and hot and 'oh' from the young girl.

"You're Sari Sumdac, right?" Alice asked as the young girl nodded and began taking about wanting to hang around other people and hoping to be a good duelist before Alice chuckle.

"You know, there's an old saying the King of Games said: 'It's not about the power or winning, it's about believing in the Heart of the Cards.'" Alice said as Sari awed at her before they heard someone scoff.

"Pffft, lame, I mean come on, 'King of Games'? What kind of loser would actually want to be King of Games?" The purple haired teen asked as Alice cleared her throat before answering.

"Seto Kaiba would because he lost to Yugi Muto when dueling in his grandfather's place and thus Yugi Muto was the first to ever summon Exodia and defeat Seto Kaiba thus he still wants to beat him to reclaim the title since Duelist Kingdom up until Battle City where he created a tournament and changed the rules to the ones we have today." Alice said taking a breath from the talking as the purple haired teen stared in awe.

"I meant to say, who wouldn't pass up a chance at all. Henry Masterson, so wanna date?" He asked as Alice scrunched her nose and gave a straight answer. "No." She said crossing her arms. "And besides if you think that dueling me would have a chance, think again." She said to the teen.

"So, one duel, I win you and I go out." He wages as Alice smirked.  "But if I win, you back off and never bother me again."

"Deal!" Masterson said as he pulled out his deck and activated his duel disk as did Alice.

"DUEL!!"

"I draw! First, I'll activate my field spell Ancient Gear Fortress, each turn if I have any Ancient Gear monster on the field their attack will rise by 300 for each Ancient Counter!" The place changed to an old castle which didn't faze Alice.

"So, using a deck that Professor Crowler of Duel Academy used? How very weak." She said in a dark tone.

"Next, I summon Ancient Gear Soldier!" Masterson said as a rusty old soldier appeared and Alice yawned at the sight of it.

"And with that, I end my turn." Masterson said with a chuckle as Alice smirked.

"My turn! I draw!" Alice smirked when she drew her card and chuckled. "You are so dead, first, I'll activate my field spell Future Visions! Next I summon, Fortune Lady Light!" She said as a yellow female monster appeared.

"You just summoned a weak monster!" Masterson laughed as Alice smirked. "Oh yeah, next, Future Visions effect activate! I banish the monster on the field until the next turn and it's Fortune Lady Light! But her effect activated, when she is banished, I get to special summon a Fortune Lady from my deck and I choose, Fortune Lady Fire!"

A red female monster appeared on her field as she smirked.

"I activate Fortune Lady Fire's effect! When she's special summoned in attack mode by an effect of a Fortune Lady monster, I can destroy your monster and you take damage equal to the attack points of your monster!" She shouted as Fortune Lady Fire casted a fire spell and melted the Ancient Gear monster.

"Next, I'll set two face downs and attack you directly!" Alice said as Fortune Lady Fire began another fire spell. "Go Fortune Lady Fire! Hellfire Curse!" She said as the red monster blasted Masterson with a giant fireball.

"I end my turn." She said with a smile as Masterson growled at her.

"I draw! I activate my spell card Ancient Fusion! I fusion summon a monster from my Extra from using my hand or my graveyard! Come forth! Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem!" Masterson exclaimed as the giant Ancient Gear was enough to scare Sari but Alice didn't seem fazed.

"You forgot Future Visions." She said blankly as Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem vanishes as Masterson was scared.

"I....end my turn." He said as Alice smirked.

"I draw...and now, Fortune Lady Light appears once more and their levels go up as well as their attack!" She explained as he watched.

Masterson looked about ready to piss his pants as Alice began her Battle Phase. "Go Fortune Lady Fire! Hellfire Curse!" She said as Fortune Lady Fire attack first.

"Attack Fortune Lady Earth! Cursed Thorn!" Alice shouted as Fortune Lady Earth twirled her staffed and hit the ground as spikes came out and attacked Masterson dead on ending the duel.

"It isn't wether you win or lose, it's how you play the game and for that, that was an excellent duel!" Alice smiles as she left with Sari before noticing the suitcase.

"Apparently, it's not my home anymore, I got kicked out." Sari said as Alice gave a sympathetic look before ruffling her hair. "Is anyone picking you up?" She asked as Sari nodded.

"Bumblebee!" Sari said as Alice looked to the yellow boy who was in awe of the Fortune Duelist.

"You're Alice Carmine..." He said as she nodded.

"Can I have your autograph?"
