Vortex's P.O.V

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

As I heard her screams from down the corridor, I couldn't help but smile at her cries. My plan was falling into place. Once I can bend the child to my will, the experiment megatron made only a few years before the war began, the decepticons would be unstoppable. I could hear supernova's screaming and crying get louder through the sound of the machine, the strangely beautiful orchestra of her torture. At least it was, until the screaming had stopped. Something was not right. I stood up, left the room, and went to go check on her.

I only tuned once to see the unresponsive little retch standing there with Starscream, third in command of the decepticons, Soundwave, the Decepticon's top assassin, and Frenzy, one of the mini-bot spies. When they all saw me, Starscream picked the wretch up, and they went the other direction, running. I suddenly realized what they were doing.

"You TRAITORS!!!" I screamed down the hall as i began to chase after them

Those idiots were going to pay for this. I sounded the alert that Project: Supernova had escaped. Guards were everywhere, tracking her and the traitors down. When they were brought to me later, I was both puzzled, and furious.

"Where are supernova and Starscream?" I Asked in a dark tone

"S-Sir, these two were all we could find of the group" One guard said

"The other two...must have escaped, sir" The other one said

I suddenly went into a rage so DRASTIC, I ended up almost killing the closest guard to me.

'This can't be happening' I thought to my self

My master plan had just fallen apart. Supernova was a very important part of it. I ordered the captives to be locked up and for a search party to find Starscream and Supernova. I then left and went to my quarters

'This isn't over, Starscream' I thought as I entered

~time skip~

I was so deep in thought that I barely registered the knock at my door. A guard entered and told me that they had found and captured Starscream, but Supernova was not with him. I frowned at this,and turned back to the window.

"Do WHATEVER it takes to make him talk" I ordered

"Yes sir" The guard said before leaving

I continued to glare out the window. She was either hidden from our sensors, or...

That was when it finally dawned on me. She was with the enemy. She would join THEIR SIDE. I swiped at the energon cube on my desk. I just couldn't believe that she was just delivered to the Auto-bots by Starscream, of all people.

'Oh dear, sweet, innocent Supernova' I thought to myself

'I promise you, one day, we will find you, and you will go through something you will never forget'

(play music)

Nova's P.O.V.

~A few minutes earlier~

"Do you have to leave?" I asked him

"I'm sorry nova, but I have to go, or else both of us are going to get in trouble, understand"

I nodded, and pulled him into a hug

"I'm gonna miss you" I say, trying not to break down into tears

"I'll miss you too, Nova. But don't worry...." He said, breaking the hug

"...Look to the stars, and know that I will be looking to them as well. We all will, I promise"

With that final word, he turned around, transformed, and flew off. I watched him until he was out of view. The sun was going down and it was beginning to rain. I turned to the gates and snuck my way into the autobot city.

~Now~

I kept sneaking through the streets of Iacon, looking for a place to hide. I knew that they had cameras almost everywhere, and I didn't want them to watch me. I suddenly heard sirens going off, the kinds that one would hear when an intruder was present.

'O-Oh no' I thought to myself.

They had found me. I bolted down the closest alleyway and just kept running. The rain was coming down hard now, so I hugged myself for warmth. My servos soon came up to my shoulder plates and my didgets began to scratch at the Decepticon symbols on my shoulder plating. I soon sat down at the end of a dead end of an alley close to the Auto-bot base. I kept scratching at the symbol until I heard pedsteps coming closer to my location. By this time, my shoulder plating was already scratched deeply, so much so that energon was coming from my shoulders. However, I didn't stop. The pedsteps came closer, and closer...

...until they stopped.

I looked up to see two autobots. A black and yellow one, and a red and blue one. I knew who they were. The black and yellow one was bumblebee, one of the Auto-bot scouts; and Optimus Prime, the Auto-bots third as well as the last prime. 

Bumblebee stared at me with slight interest, but Optimus, he looked at me with fear plastered onto his face. I looked to my shoulders, half scratched and cut deeply, then back to him. He somehow knew that I had done this to myself. I looked at them with a blank expression as the world around me began to darken. I Hadn't realized until then that I had been clawing at my shoulder plates even harder than before I saw them, so much so that twice the amount of energon had been coming from the cuts.

 I only looked up to them one more time with a more pained expression...

...before I was consumed into a black void.
